Marley Dash is Jenni's partner and self-proclaimed adoptive sister.

Background:

Marley Dash was born to unnamed parents in New York City on September 19, 1902. When she was 2, her mother dies of tuberculosis. Downtrodden, Marley's father was driven to smoking. 3 years later, Marley faced another family tragedy. Her father fell asleep in his chair and dropped his cigarette on the carpet, which lights the house on fire. Marley escapes and manages to get the fire department, with a gash on her arm from the window. Sadly, Marley's father had been burned alive and killed. She was forced to stay in an orphanage for the next few months until Jenni Graves is brought in. Marley immediately took a liking to Jenni and even returns her ruby when she drops it. Six weeks later, Jenni and Marley escape the orphanage to find Jenni's mother, Luna. Sadly, she is dead. Marley does her best to comfort a grief-stricken Jenni. The two are adopted by a librarian where they school themselves. As they grow up, Marley buys Jenni a golden locket and chain for her ruby. She and Jenni make themselves blood sisters and decided to help each other.

Marley was born in the year 1902, which makes her 25 years old. Her mother died when she was 2 and her father died when she was 5, the same age she met Jenni. Marley has a long grey scar on her left arm, a reminder of the fateful night her father died. With regards to her voice, Marley speaks with an American accent and her voice is rather high pitched.

Before her father died, Marley was raised as a catholic. Her father was a Chaplin for their church but was fired due to his smoking habits. As an adult, Marley doesn't appear to be religious.

Marley's mother was a nurse at a rehabilitation center before she died, where she met her husband while he was recovering from smoking. One of her patients had TB, which she caught and died from.

Marley is considered to be polite and respectful to those of high authority and believes everyone should be treated equally. She always addresses strangers as sir or ma'am. if she knows their names, she'll address them as Mr., Mrs., or Ms.

Marley suffers from bipolar disorder, which she got from the death of her father.

In the fanfiction, Marley suggests she got to see her father's burnt and dismembered corpse after the firefighters retrieved him from their house. She describes him as being unrecognizable.

Marley has a love for sweets and unhealthy items. Shockingly, she's very thin and has a slim build. This is possibly because she likes putting fruit in nearly every unhealthy sweet items.

Marley is shown to have PTSD of her father's death as she has an extreme fear of cigarettes.

Relationships:

Jenni Graves: Marley and Jenni have been friends since they were children, claiming they are sisters. Marley loves and adores Jenni and looks up to her as an older sister she never had.

Kassian Dash: Kassian is Marley's cousin. Marley adores her cousin and likes teasing him on occasion.

Sierra Serval: Sierra is Marley's best friend as the two like hanging around each other and having coffee together.

Ali Snow: Ali and Marley are on good terms.

Suzie Egypt: Suzie and Marley are on good terms.

Bella Vista: Bella and Marley are on good terms.

Dolly Fisher: Dolly and Marley are on good terms.

Marcus Jags: Marcus and Marley are on good terms.

Rocky Rickaby: Marley and Rocky fell for each other the moment they met. Though shy at first, the two developed a close relationship.

The Lackadaisy Crew: Marley is on good terms with the Lackadaisy crew as she is able to gain their trust and respect.

Her mother: Marley has little memory of her mother due to her dying when she was 2. However, she wishes she knew her more.

Her father: Though it's not known much about their relationship in general (due to Marley not liking to be reminded of her father due to his death), Marley is shown to miss her father. She openly admits to Jenni that she feels responsible for her father's death because she was too scared to help him.
