Background:
Kassian Dash was born to two unnamed parents. He is the cousin of Marley Dash (their fathers were brothers). He was born a month after his cousin. Kassian was born in Pennsylvania with his parents. At the age of 5, Kassian heard about what happened to his uncle in New York and learns Marley was put into an orphanage. He begs his parents to travel to New York to adopt Marley, but his parents refuse due to financial issues. Upset, Kassian runs away from home and sneaks on to a train heading to New York, hiding amongst the large crowd of civilians. During his travels, Kassian is forced to hide amongst the families in the train, in order to avoid the ticket master. Upon arriving in New York, Kassian searches for his cousin and finds her at the local library. Kassian is overjoyed to be reunited with his cousin and vows to help her and Jenni on their missions.

Kassian was born on October 30, 1902 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Like Marley, Kassian is an only child but views Jenni Graves and her associates as his brothers and sisters.
In regard to his voice, Kassian speaks with a slight hint of a western accent as he and his parents lived in a small farmhouse in the country.
Kassian is shown to be slightly introverted and shy. As a matter of fact, Kassian's lack of several appearances in the fanfiction reflects his secluded and introverted nature.
He is also soft spoken and a little skittish.
Kassian is shown to hate the smell of smoke and alcohol and is for the prohibition act, making him the only one in Jenni's gang to be. Ironically, Kassian has no problem with working for Jenni who sometimes acts as a rum runner and even letting his children go on Rum Races.
Kassian is shown to be very religious, often wearing a silver cross with a snake embracing it over his neck.
Kassian is very superstitious and believes in most local legends such as vampires and werewolves.
He's also a believer in the paranormal and claims to have had several supernatural experiences in his youth, something that attracts Serafine to him.
Relationships:
His parents: Kassian loved his parents but was angry at them for not taking in Marley. While riding the train to New York, Kassian writes his parents a letter stating that he was going to live with Marley. It's unknown if he's had closure with them.
Jenni Graves: Kassian is on good terms with Jenni as he is respectful to her and sees her as his leader.
Marley Dash: Kassian has a close brotherly bond with his cousin Marley. He even travels to New York as a child just to be with her when her father dies!
Ali Snow: Kassian is on good terms with Ali.
Sierra Serval: Kassian is on good terms with Sierra.
Marcus Jags: Kassian is on good terms with Marcus.
Suzie Egypt: Kassian is on good terms with Suzie.
Bella Vista: Kassian is on good terms with Bella.
Dolly Fisher: Kassian is on good terms with Dolly.
Serafine Savoy: Serafine had fallen for Kassian at his cousin's wedding. She was intrigued by his knowledge and love of the supernatural.
Nico Savoy: Kassian likes but is often frightened of Nico.
Marigold Gang: Kassian was wary of Marigold even before Jenni got to them. He warns Jenni and Marley of Marigold's nature and their members.
Lackadaisy crew: In the aftermath, Kassian quits his job at the Blue Orchid and begins working as a bartender at Lackadaisy, forming a friendship with Viktor in the process.
