So this is an idea I've had since recently finishing Fairy Tail and after reading a few others of this crossover style I decided to try my hand at making my own like this with my own take on how to crossover these franchises with the Black Bulls visiting Earth Land. While I do have a solid starting outline I will not make any promises on the upload schedule for this but rather upload as I can as I do have several other active stories that I've just released in various crossover areas as well as one major weekly series that is now at 1,000,000 words that will take priority in terms of prep work so bear with me in terms of timing for uploads. Other than that, this is going to be a typical different worlds crossover fic with this opening chapter explaining how it will work and who will be going where for the crossover. So y'all know, I am fully caught up with the Black Clover manga, I read it every week as soon as Viz drops the translation, as well as Fairy Tail 100-year Quest so I am well informed on both but the stuff after the respective animes is so far in the future for this work that there is no need to address them right now. Also I have yet to decide if I will go with the pairings I like (Asta x Noelle and NaLu) in this fic or if I'll leave them as they are with maybe Lucy being more aware of her feelings so if you want that do let me know and I can see if it will work going forward. The only remaining thing to address is that I will be using the terms that show up in the English translations and dubs of these works though I am still undecided on if I will have Juvia speak in the third person like she does in the manga or the first person like she does in the dub. That is all I have to say before I start this story so I will leave this note off here as you sit back and enjoy the first chapter in Black Bull Banishment.

Chapter 1: Banished Compromise
"Also, there's a possibility that Asta will die." The Wizard King said as he raised his third figure to indicate the third of the problems that they were facing causing an expected reaction from Mimosa and Noelle at the thought of Asta's death.
Asta, Noelle, Mimosa, and who they'd recently learned was Nero in her true form, were standing in the Wizard King's office facing him and Asta and Noel's Captain, Yami Sukehiro, as they listened to the issues they faced after the recent elf incident. The whole incident had been concluded in the early hours of the night when Asta, with the aid of Yuno and Yami, had slain the devil that had been behind the scenes manipulating the humans 500 years ago and the reincarnated elves now for his own ends. It had been a whole messy affair with a lot of twists and turns but now it was behind them at last.
One of the casualties of the conflict had been the Wizard King Julius Novachrono, or at least that had been what Yami had thought as he'd been the one with Julius when he died. However, due to the mix of his unique Time Magic and an ancient device called Swallowtail he'd been able to store 13 years' worth of time in the device as it allowed for that.
That had ensured that when he'd died at Patry's hand at the start of the incident he could return though he was now a 13-year-old boy with most of his magic gone thus reducing his powers, be they magical or political, greatly. Regardless, he was back which was a good thing at least.
What none of them but Nero knew was that the device he'd used had been made by her and Prince Lumiere 500 years ago to help people with less magic only for it to be used by the nobles, who had been manipulated by the devil, to steal the elves' magic for themselves before slaughtering them. This had been the incident that had sparked everything and while Nero had done her part to delay it, which had resulted in her magic being corrupted, the horns now on her head, and ultimately her becoming a bird for 500 years after she sealed Lumiere away until the right time, it had all still come to pass.
However, it seemed that the very device that she had help make and which had caused such problems had still been useful for something good as it had been intended for because it had helped bring back a man who, at least to her, truly fought for the vision her Prince had and that made her smile. Still, the fact that her Prince had named the device after her surname was a bit much especially as he'd not told her its name back then.
Regardless, she wasn't going to bring that up now. She'd had her seal as a bird broken and was now able to live a normal life again, a new life and while she'd been ready to die with her Prince and join him in the afterlife he'd urged her to live on for herself and that was what she'd do. She'd already mentally sworn to herself to dedicate her life to helping and protecting Asta as he too embodied what her Prince had done even if Asta couldn't hold a candle to her Prince, yet at least.
Part of accepting her new life, something her Prince had said when he'd first called her by her real name before pointing out that it was Nero now, was to abandon her past life. This was a new life and in it she was Nero, the name the Black Bulls had given her when Asta brought her into the base after Saussy Village and which she liked even if she had used them for her own gains. That and it was the only decent name that the Black Bull members could come up with for her.
As such she was no longer Secré Swallowtail, that girl had died with her Prince when he finally helped end the threat that the devil had posed, and from now on she was Nero. Of course, Asta, Noelle, Mimosa, and Finral at least knew her real first name as they'd heard her Prince say it but they all still called her Nero which was for the best.
All that flashed through her mind as the Wizard King had been talking but with the news of Asta's potential death, and the horrified reactions from the two girls who anyone with eyes could tell were both madly in love with him though only Mimosa seemed to be able to admit it to herself, everything was brought back to what was going on at hand. They had to deal with this first and thankfully the Wizard King already had a solution for them that he was about to explain.
"Asta could die!" Mimosa exclaimed at the shocking news that the boy she knew held her heart and who's inspiration drove her to improve so that she could one day stand by his side might be killed. "Did I miss something?"
"Hang on is this an either or situation because both me dying and Clover being invaded sound really bad." Asta said frantic about not just his own predicament but another of the problems that the Wizard King had laid out regarding the weakened state of the Clover Kingdom in the wake of the incident. "Like please tell me that this isn't going to happen."
"Unfortunately, both could happen." Julius said his tone serious. "At least that was what I would have said but I have at least managed to make a deal with the leader of the Magical Parliament, Damnatio Kira of the Royal House of Kira, which by the way is the house the King is from, that will help Asta."
"It will?" Asta asked. "How will it help me?"
"If you shut up Dorksta and let the Wizard King speak he'll explain it all to you." Noelle said her tone it's usual imperious one when she was explaining something to Asta but inside she was still reeling from the fact that Asta might die. "So be quiet and let him tell us how you won't be killed."
"Thank you Noelle." Julius said. "The deal that I've made will at the very least spare Asta for 6 months of our time while also giving him, and the Black Bulls as this deal applies to the whole squad with the exception of your Vice-Captain who will remain on his current mission, a chance to really train and improve so that when you return in 6 months' time, well our time at least, you will be ready for what is to come. In that time, myself, along with the others who support Asta, will work to clear him and prepare for the threats that our neighbors pose."
"Wait I'm still confused." Asta said as he tried to process things but by this point he was totally lost with the situation at hand. "Why am I about to die?"
"It's because of what you did during the incident, that horn you grew and the form you reportedly took." Julius said. "I didn't see it but I trust the reports and it all adds up. Asta, to beat that devil you used another devil's power. Frankly it is all fascinating from a magical standpoint but alas as this incident was caused by a devil the people are looking for a scapegoat and that is you Asta."
"Why me though?" Asta asked. "I helped everyone and freed the elves' spirits in the end."
"That you did, and it was only because of your anti-magic that we won and freed all the elves who were possessing our Knights." Julius said. "And yes, the true fault of all this lies with William and his indecision regarding Patry but alas the people, especially the nobles, won't see it that way. You know how they are here and with how William's magic helped you reach all the possessed knights in the end; they still see him as the savior. As such he can't really be punished though he will never be able to become the Wizard King and there needs to be a token sacrifice which is Asta because of his devil power. I don't agree with it of course but I don't have the power and influence I once had which is why I've made this deal."
"I'm still confused." Asta said trying to process it.
"It's simple Dorksta." Noelle said flicking one of her pigtails in annoyance at his stupidity. "The Magic Parliament is run by the third of the three royal families, which because it runs the Parliament and holds the crown at the moment is the strongest of the families, and so they are protecting a noble and sacrificing a commoner despite the fact that you saved all of us. Th, though don't read too much into that."
"Huh?" Asta asked confused as Noelle went bright red at the last part of her statement.
"I can't help but do so." Mimosa said as her jealousy around her cousin and her closeness to Asta flared again for some reason. "But I don't want you to die, Asta. You saved the kingdom if not the world."
"That Asta did which is why I've been able to make this deal to buy us time to sway the Magic Parliament to our side." Julius said bringing them all back to the situation at hand. "To alleviate tensions, assuage the Magic Parliament for the moment, and give us the time we need so that myself along with other powerful backers of Asta like Fuegoleon, Mereoleona, and Nozel, can work with the system to clear Asta's name, along with that of our new friend as her horns are almost certainly going to be an issue, I have made this deal."
"Will you just spit out the deal already." Yami said getting fed up with all this circling around the point. "I want to know what we are doing while you clear two of my squad."
"Two?" Asta asked confused as were all the girls, especially Nero who blinked at the large man unsure if he meant what she thought he did.
"Yeah you and the girl with horns." Yami said pointing at them. "I am not going to let them do anything to the Black Bulls, I don't trust them not to try and trick me, so we need to sort this out as soon as possible."
"You don't need to save me, just Asta." Nero said her eyes wide at what Yami was saying because she wasn't a Black Bull. "I'm not one of you, I was just using you to achieve my goals and besides I'm not from this era, hell I'm barely human anymore after what I did to my magic 500 years ago. I'm not part of your squad."
"That Black Bulls are a wacky group of misfits as you well know from living with us basically since we recruited Asta and Noelle." Yami said as he walked towards the girl who he only knew as Nero the bird but had already grown to like her as he had the others he'd recruited, and produced a Black Bulls robe from behind his back. "So, if you're worried about being too different from us then you must not have been paying enough attention when you were with us because you're just like the rest of us in a lot of ways and I am sure that the rest of the squad will see that when we introduce you properly to them. Besides, I'm already familiar with your ki so trust me, one more weirdo isn't going to hurt anything."
As Yami was saying this and meaning it, he had been able to tell from the moment the strange girl appeared with Asta, Noelle and that other royal girl from the Golden Dawn, that she was the bird who'd been with them since Asta, Noelle and Magna had returned from Saussy Village. She was clearly a good person who was loyal to Asta and her magic was cool so he liked her and accepted her into his squad. He showed this by putting the Black Bull robe over her head as he finished speaking.
"Are you sure?" Nero asked her eyes wide as she raised her hands to her new robe.
"Of course, you're one of us and have been for a while." Yami said with a smile.
"Yeah Nero you're part of the squad, we wouldn't have been able to retrieve the stones without your help and you brought the First Wizard King to the final battle which helped us a lot." Asta said with a smile that made Noelle and Mimosa jealous as both wanted such a smile directed at them though Noelle was in denial about why she wanted that. "This just makes it official."
"Yes, you have shown your worth to us so it's only natural that we accept you." Noelle said flicking a pigtail in her usual fashion though her inner monologue was going off about another cute girl who was really close to Asta which was getting in her way before she devolved into her usual denial and was lost to them with her mental struggle.
"In that case then, I'll join you." Nero said seriously looking up at her new Captain. "Thank you for having me Captain Yami."
"Our squad is as pitch black as it gets so you're going to fit in just fine." Yami said as he backed up. "Welcome to the Black Bulls."
"You really do know how to pick them Yami." Julius said with a smile before it dropped and he got serious again. "As much as this is good for you and will help now that Nero is officially a Black Bull, her horns are still a sign of a devil's power, the result of a curse called Weg. Others suffer from devil curses as well but the few that I know about were born with it for various reasons, I don't think this is the case with Nero."
"No, I got my horns because I used Forbidden Magic to seal away devil 500 years ago which as a result corrupted my own magic." Nero said. "Therefore, they are the results of my own actions. Then, after I used more Forbidden Magic to seal away my Prince, the price I paid for that was to be sealed into a bird but now that that seal has been broken I can change between my two forms as much as I like."
Nero had finished this by turning into the anti-bird that they had known her as, flying up and landing on Asta's head, which was still her favorite perch, as she spoke. It was frankly adorable that she could speak as a bird and Noelle really liked it, so much so that her usual insecurities weren't triggered at the idea of a cute girl sitting on Asta's head.
"So cool, your use of Forbidden Magic sealed you into this bird form." Julius said leaping up with stars in his eyes. "You must tell me more about it. Ancient magic is so fascinating."
"Reel it in again." Yami said lifting the Wizard King up by his collar and bringing him back from his squad members who were all unamused, well the girls were at least, at the Wizard King's usual antics regarding interesting magic. "What is this deal, it is time for your to explain it."
"Right the deal." Julius said as he got back to business the moment Yami placed him back on the ground. "The deal is simple. For the next 6 months the Black Bulls will be banished from the Clover Kingdom."
"Banished!" Noelle and Mimosa yelped for different reasons, Noelle due to her shock at it and Mimosa at the thought of not seeing Asta for 6 months while the others just processed the news of what the deal actually was.
"Well, that sucks" Yami said taking a puff on his cigarette. "But it does make sense."
"It does?" Asta asked as the girls still processed it.
"It's either that or deal with the Magic Parliament and I don't doubt that they'll do something like trick Asta into going to them and then tell me the wrong date so that they can execute him without our intervention because they know that we'd totally do that." Yami said as if it was obvious that that would happen. "Might even use some dirty tactics in the trial to force Asta to reveal his devil form or something like that. It's just what the nobles would do."
"At least the ones that control the Parliament would do that." Julius said with a sigh of agreement at Yami's accurate assessment of the situation. "I know that several of the ones in the Magic Knights support Asta after what he did, but Yami is right in this regard it is for the best that the Black Bulls leave the Clover Kingdom for a while so that those who know the truth can fight for Asta and Nero."
"I do expect it to be a trap." Nero said. "And Asta would definitely fall for it."
"True." Noelle said having recovered from her latest bout of denial and not adding how she couldn't lose Asta before correcting herself to how the nation not her couldn't lose him as she didn't think of him like that, or so she told herself as her denial once again kicked in. "It is something that Asta would do."
"Come on I'm not that dumb…" Asta began but shut up at the glares from Nero, Noelle, and Yami while Mimosa gave him a sympathetic look though she did agree with the others that Asta would fall for such a tactic.
"Regardless this is for the best." Julius said. "And I have already gotten support from the Captains of the Golden Dawn, Silver Eagles, Crimson Lion Kings, and Aqua Deer on Asta's behave though I expect that the Blue Rose Knights will also support him once Captain Charlotte is better. That is a good start, and we can use that while you are away to appease Damnatio and secure yours and Nero's freedom."
"I guess." Asta said. "I don't understand all this."
"You wouldn't." Noelle said glad that her brother was supporting Asta as she thought Nozel didn't like him though she was unaware of the fact that Nozel had recognized Asta and Yuno as rivals during the recent incident. "But don't worry, those of us who do understand it will do what they can to ensure that you aren't killed, Dorksta."
"However, there is more to this than just a simple banishment." Julius said seriously once again getting them back on track. "Because you won't be sent to a neighboring kingdom, the strong magic region between us and Spade, a different strong magic region, or even across the sea to a place like the Land of the Sun."
"We won't." Asta said confused and this time all of the others present agreed with him as they were now confused as to where the Wizard King was going to send them.
"No, I have a better place in mind." Julius said. "A place that you can really grow, train and get stronger in, more so than even if you were to train for 6 months in a strong magic region. By the time you return you will be stronger than any squad I dare say as I know it really accelerate my own growth and strength when I went there."
"Where are we going?" Noelle asked and even Yami was curious as to where.
"A place called Earth Land." Julius said which none of them had heard of as he'd expected seeing as he was the only person in their world who knew about it, that he knew about at least.
"Earth Land?" Nero asked. "Where is that?"
"It is a different world." Julius said which all of them just blinked at now completely lost. "Ok, I think I can explain this better. You know how there is a world for devils, one that they can't get out of short of some archaic ceremony or trickery like what the one that you just faced did."
"Yes." Nero said understanding this better than the others did. "It's like another dimension that is separate to but at the same time connected to ours."
"Correct but what if I told you that that isn't the only other dimension out there." Julius said. "That there are several other worlds in existence other than our own one and that of the devils."
"Come again." Noelle said as Asta's brain began to hurt. "There's another dimension?"
"There are at least three complete worlds that I have heard of in addition to our own one and the devils' one." Julius said. "Earth Land is one of them, that is the one that I have visited and can provide you with the tool needed to get there. It is a world like ours where magic is common though not everyone has it like here, excluding Asta that is, though they call the foundation of magic Ethernano there not Mana, but they work about the same. There are two other worlds I learned about while there, one is a world were magic is finite, at least from what I heard, called Edolas, and another where it is so abundant that it overflows dangerously called Elentear but few in Earth Land know of those two."
"This is hurting my brain." Asta complained.
"It is a lot to take in." Mimosa said with concern for Asta's wellbeing in mind, but she too was struggling to keep up with what the Wizard King was saying. "But given the devils' world and the nature of magic I don't doubt it."
"Normally I would but when it comes to magic there isn't a better expert than this nerd." Yami said gesturing to the Wizard King. "And besides, I have a spell that cuts dimensions so it does make sense."
"Don't forget that Dorothy has a spell that allows her to enter her own pocket dimension of sorts, she really has some interesting magic." Julius said getting slightly distracted before a cough from Yami got him back on track. "But all that aside, I learned of Earth Land before I became Wizard King, shortly before mind you but before nonetheless, and that was when I visited it some 6 years ago our time back when I was the Gray Deer Captain."
"6 years ago?" Yami asked as he thought back on his time in Julius's Magic Knight Squad and recalled something from 6 years ago that had caused quite a stir within the squad. "That would be around about the time you randomly vanished for 6 months if I recall. The Vice-Captain was not happy with you because while you usually traveled you would at least check in with the squad every month or so."
"Correct, I couldn't because I was in Earth Land and couldn't report in." Julius said with a nervous laugh at that past incident before he got serious again and reached into his cloak to pull out a bronze key with an ornate, globe-like, design on the end. "It was all by accident and I was worried I couldn't come back. You see, around this time 6 years ago while traveling around the Kingdom looking for interesting magic I stumbled upon a random dungeon that appeared out of nowhere."
"That does sound like you." Yami said with a puff on his cigarette. "You helped a lot of people back then with your travels, but any hint of interesting magic and you were distracted right away."
"So true and as dungeons always have old and fascinating magic I went in and explored it." Julius said with a smile. "In the vault I found this treasure and only this. I didn't know what to do but it resonated with my magic, all magic in fact, but it was clearly different and not from our world. So naturally I infused my magic into it."
"You know most people wouldn't do that." Yami pointed out.
"It seemed like the right thing to do and I was curious so I did than and as soon as I did it told me what to do." Julius said with a shrug as if it was just normal to play around with an unknown and potentially dangerous magical tool. "I thrust it into the ground, it just ignored the stone for some reason, and then when it clicked into place I turned it. Next thing I know myself and a good portion of the dungeon are gone and I'm in a field with broken dungeon all around me. It took me a bit, but I soon learned that my magic and grimoire worked there just fine though the magic that I felt there wasn't normal. As such I began to explore this fascinating new place I'd ended up in."
"You didn't try the key again?" Noelle asked.
"There was so much new and unique magic for me to see and experience." Julius said with stars for eyes. "So, I had to check it all out."
"Of course, you did." Yami said while the others just sighed at that because it was very in keeping for the Wizard King to focus on exploration rather than trying to get home after such an experience. "For 6 months it seems."
"Actually, I was there for 6 years." Julius said as if it was nothing.
That got all of them to stare in confusion and shock at him. Even Nero who was normally stoic couldn't help it as this was unexpected.
"You were there for 6 years?" Asta asked trying to wrap his head around it and failing to comprehend what the Wizard King was saying. "But Captain Yami said that you were away for 6 months? How does that work?"
"Correct, time flows differently there." Julius said with a nod. "I could really feel it with my magic in fact. What is one month here is one year there. It all feels the same when you're there mind you, the days and years are the same but for whatever reason there is a time distortion between our world and theirs. I think that is why it took the key so long before it could be used again in fact. Regardless I was there, and I was certain I could one day return I just had to let the key, which I am now certain was originally forged in that world, recharge as while it can be filled with Mana here it needs to naturally absorb Ethernano there to work."
"Ok this is all rather crazy." Mimosa said doing her best to keep up with what the Wizard King was saying and just about managing it. "But go on sir, what happened while you were there?"
"And why did you look like you'd only aged 6 months when we saw you again?" Yami asked with a glance at Julius. "Your ki was stronger sure but that was it. I know you're a Time Mage but other than what you just did with that magic item you found, even you can't rewind that many years from your body."
"I think that has to do with the time distortion effect between our worlds, at least that's my working theory." Julius said. "As for what I did, well first I learned as much as I could about the place that I'd ended up in. I learned that I wasn't in my world but in Earth Land, so I decided to not tell anyone I wasn't from there. Rather I just went about my usual things and learned all I could about it. It was fascinating for sure, and they are much more equal there so I picked up a lot of good tips for how to help make things better when I returned but most importantly I learned that if I wanted to help people in their world then I would have to join a Guild."
"Guild?" Asta asked.
"Yes, that is what organizations are called there." Julius said. "They have Guilds for merchants, mercenaries, treasure hunters, and of course they have Guilds for magic users. The latter are called Wizard Guilds and there are a lot of them there. They are kinda like our Magic Knight squads only they are less structured internally and with a ruling council that set rules that they have to follow. Those who don't are Dark Guilds, and they are criminals, so it wasn't hard to find one. In fact, I found the Guild I'd join in the first city I visited, a place called Magnolia."
"Like the flower?" Mimosa asked.
"Exactly like it." Julius said with a nod. "I was in a place called the Fiore Kingdom and all their cities and are named after flowers or trees; they even have a town called Clover where the Guild Masters of the legal Guilds meet to discuss the Guilds, but I digress. It was in Magnolia that I found the wizard Guild called Fairy Tail and joined it once I'd learned more and they saw my magic though I called my grimoire my magical item tool that only I could use to explain it away. All this was 72 years ago in Earth Land time so most of that Guild is long dead, but I was accepted, and they treat their members like family."
"Cool that's how I see the Black Bulls and all my friends here." Asta said smiling not noticing the glare from Noelle and pout from Mimosa as neither really wanted to be seen as sisters to Asta, they wanted more though as usual only one could admit it to herself. "Sounds like they are a tight knit bunch."
"That they are, their bonds run deep." Julius said. "And for 6 years I was one of them, even advanced to S-Rank which is their equivalent of a Senior Magic Knight first class I'd say though as the Guilds aren't actually part of the national government the way our Magic Knight squads are it doesn't carry the same kind of weight as a Senior Magic Knight would. Still, I had a lot of fun, learned a lot, made great friends, and experienced magics I couldn't experience here. However, despite all this I knew that I needed to get back and once the key was recharged, I left but not before taking one of their members into my confidence as over the years we'd become close."
"You told one of them the truth?" Asta asked.
"Yes, and he swore to keep it, even helped me find some communication devices so we could stay in contact." Julius said. "He was one of the up-and-coming members, a fiery 21-year-old when I first met him and the son of one of the four founders of the Guild. In fact, your first mission there is to ascertain what has happened to him as he dropped contact 5 months ago without warning. He was 88 at the time but he was still alive despite some recent health scares, and he was their Guild Master, their equivalent of a Magic Knight Captain, so it was odd to say the least."
"Who is he?" Asta asked as the others processed what the Wizard King was telling them.
"His name is Makarov Dreyar and he's one of their strongest warriors even at his age." Julius said. "A good man who loves his Guild seeing all of the members as his children and they love him in return. I want to make sure that he's ok as last I heard he was off to the Guild's sacred ground for the annual S-Class trial that he was looking forward to conducting so I hope that nothing untoward has happened to him."
"We can do that." Asta said eagerly. "We'll make sure that he's ok."
"Hold on short stuff." Yami said with a puff of his cigarette. "We haven't said that we would go there as we can just spend the 6 months of our banishment outside of Clover if we wished."
"True you can but this way you will train more than the others." Julius said. "And it will really help you."
"I'm not saying we won't go, we will." Yami said looking down at one of the few men he actually respected in the Clover Kingdom. "Though I had hoped to learn more here as I used that Mana Zone technique in the last battle and need to learn more about it even if it means dealing with that crazy woman. Regardless, this will help the squad and we can take the base with us it seems, so it does make a lot of sense to go there and get stronger using this time distortion thing. What are we to do there?"
"Learn of what happened to Makarov, learn how Fiore and Earth Land in general has developed since I was there, and help where you can as you train." Julius said. "I suggest making the Black Bulls into an official Wizard Guild there, shouldn't be hard with your strength, and that way you can get requests for work that will pay you so you will be able to get money there and more than you are paid here though most of the money earned goes to the wizards who complete the requested missions."
"That is certainly a good thing." Yami said with a nod. "And we don't want to become criminals there now do we. Fine, we'll go but do you have any books on the place. I know you Julius, you will have brought some back."
"Yeah, I do and for whatever reason the transfer allows us to understand and read their common language," Julius said handing the key to Yami. "I will send the books to you at your base's normal location as they are currently locked away in my personal collection though you will have to tell me how you managed to move it when you get back as I've never seen magic like that."
"Fine." Yami said knowing that he'd have to agree to it to get his hands on those books. "When do we have to leave."
"As soon as possible because you have 24 hours before you have to leave as that is when the banishment starts, after that you will be criminals." Julius said though at this point none of them were surprised with how soon it was upon them. "Also, the key needs a lot of mana to work so only you or Noelle in your squad can fill it I believe."
"Understood, I'll take this task on myself." Yami said taking the key from Julius and putting it in his pocket, he'd have to keep it on him the entire time there. "And we will be gone as soon as the whole squad is assembled and briefed."
"Excellent then you're…" Julius began ready to dismiss them but before he could Mimosa suddenly interjected into it.
"Wait Lord Julius." Mimosa said her face flushing as she spoke, but she had to get this out, she wasn't going to go 6 months without seeing Asta and this was a great time to be with him for a really long time, train, and get closer to him to properly support him one day. "Send me with the Black Bulls."
"What!" Noelle shrieked her face going red as well as her jealousy was triggered at the idea of her cute cousin who fawned way too much over Asta coming with them on this mission.
"This is a banishment, Mimosa." Julius said seriously. "And the 6 years will still feel like 6 years to you. are you sure that you want this?"
"Yes I am." Mimosa said her conviction coming through as she spoke. "I need to get stronger regardless and this is a great way to do so. I've learned so much from Asta and the Black Bulls this year, as much as I have from the Golden Dawn, so this is just another way to grow as a Magic Knight. Plus no one in the Black Bulls has healing magic and, well, you know their reputation and Asta's in particular so they will need my magic."
"I'm not that bad." Asta protested but the others just looked at him and he shut up knowing that they were technically right seeing as almost always needed healing after a mission.
"I see, yes that would be a good idea and I can even swing it as you are a royal and impartial representative to keep an eye on them." Julius said as Mimosa let out a breath of air at that while Noelle's jealousy was now at its peak and Nero was enjoying watching the rivalry the girls had for Asta's heart. "However, to explain your magic you will have to say that it is a lost art as Earth Land, at least when I was there, didn't have healing magic. My Time Magic could heal back when it was at its fullest, but I explained it away as forgotten magic from my grimoire which I went with a bonded magic tool as the excuse why others couldn't use it. That is how you all should explain away your grimoires."
"I will do that." Mimosa said with a nod while the others understood what the Wizard King was saying and decided to follow his lead on that front.
"You will also have to wear the Black Bulls robe as a temporary member of the squad to be part of the Guild, along with the mark but you'll learn about that in time." Julius said to which Mimosa nodded as she understood that with this assignment it would be best for her to just be a member of the Black Bulls rather than the Golden Dawn as it would be easier. "Yami is this ok with you?"
"I don't see why not." Yami said with a shrug. "A healer will be useful so she can tag along. I'll have Finral drop her off at the Golden Dawn base so she can explain things to Goldiguts and what not and then take her to our base where I'll have everyone gathered by the end of the day. Between Henry's magic and Charmy's recovery food it shouldn't take that long to move it back to where it was."
"Good, I will contact William as well about this." Julius said. "If there is nothing else then you are dismissed. I will see you in 6 months' time and I can't wait for your stories about all the cool magic you witnessed in Earth Land."
"Sir." They all said saluting before they turned and left the office to find Finral and sort things out.
Julius just smiled at that as they left. This was for the best and he couldn't wait to see how strong they had become when they returned. It was time for the Black Bulls and Mimosa to head to Earth Land and grow there. Little did any of them know what they were about to get into over the course of their coming 6 years or the roles that they'd play in the history of Earth Land when the Black Bulls of the Clover Kingdom descended upon it.
Well, there it is, the first chapter of this crossover and the set up for how and why they are going to Earth Land. As y'all can tell this will cover the 6-month time skip so we won't see the Heart Kingdom and all that though if I ever get around to a sequel that will be set in the Clover Kingdom and cover the Spade Invasion with several members of Fairy Tail coming to assist then I'll address that stuff there. To anyone who is confused or just doesn't want to try and do math, the current year in Earth Land based off the time distortion and what Julius said is x789 so 5 years into the 7-year time skip but the two years of that skip will be glossed over within the first 10 or so chapters as there isn't much there before we get into the real meat of the banishment stuff. Given the times involved this does mean that the Black Bulls and Mimosa will be in Earth Land through the rest of Fairy Tail from the Grand Magic Games arc onwards (I will not be addressing the filler arc before the Grand Magic Games) until the very end and into the events of Fairy Tail 100-year Quest but given how long this is likely to be (currently predicting the dragon attack after the games to start around chapter 30 or so) it will be a long time before this is finished. Anyway, that is all I really have for y'all with this first chapter, next up is the final chapter set in the Clover Kingdom before we go to Earth Land for the story.
