All of the townspeople were following the mayor as the mayor led them to what he is about to show them. After a while, they all slowed down because they could see that the mayor was slowing down too. Once the mayor had slowed down and stopped, everyone else completely stopped. All together their eyes and mouths widened in shock to what they were seeing. Everyone else was seeing it too. They were looking through the fences and could see that all of the animals…were gone!
