Sup guys? Lighting Wolf here, back with another story, this one about Lion King. Enjoy the 800-word chapter. I don't own Lion King; Disney and a few others do.

She looked over her shoulder to see if anyone spotted her… No, they didn't. She was after all the best spy her mother had; Nuka couldn't be relied upon not to try not to steal glory in this war. She only found praise in carrying out her mother's work, in ensuring her grand design was unblemished. That would be her prize, to be remembered as the one who led her mother's charge against Simba and his precious family…

She unfurled her claws, crouching as she waited motionless in the brush. Any creature stupid enough to approach her would become just another meal to the lioness cub.

She grinned… She pounced, claws outstretched towards the figure, only redrawing them back inwards a moment before she slammed into the figure in question. The two animals were thrown down a hill, the other figure got off a second glance before they crashed into the ground, the wing thoroughly knocked out of the figure.

"Gotta." She stated as he feebly swatted at her, eager to get free from her grip which she REFUSED to release. "How you been, Akida?" She purred out, refusing to move an inch from the warrior she had pinned.

Akida was one the lionesses' children. Though it wasn't a fair fight. One of them had muscle, the other had barely hunted, it was obvious that she held the advantage.

"Vitani!?" Akida questioned and struggled to move the lioness cub who was quite content to keep pinning him. "What are YOU doing here?!" Akida seemed to screech.

Vitani feigned the shock of pretending not to know why she was here. He knew why she had come, she always made it clear it was to spy upon him and report back to her mother. She had her own way of trying to bring down Simba.

"Oh? I can't come and see my FRIEND?" Vitani seemed to purr, her razor-sharp teeth exposed. "You hurt me, your glory. You hurt me deep. I thought after the last time we saw each other? I at least left SOME positive memory upon you." Vitani added, knowing exactly what he'd saw.

Akida said nothing, too shocked to really vocalize his own thoughts at the moment. Vitani always seemed to come out of nowhere and attack him, he couldn't really react to her 'meetings' with him since he never knew when she'd appear.

Still? It wasn't like she had tried to kill him. He was well aware her brother on the other hand seemed to enjoy tormenting him… But then again? Most people seemed to pick on Nuka and the last thing Akida really cared about was how annoying the lion seemed to be.

"This is the second time this week you've shown back up…" Akida pointed out, jabbing a clawed finger in her direction.

Vitani simply shrugged and looked over her shoulder. Her mother never seemed to notice when she vanished, and by the time she had? Vitani was almost always returned home, no worse for the wear.

"And you don't seem bothered by it." Vitani said, poking his nose with her paw. "What's the matter, angry a GIRL beat you?" Vitani asked as Akida final managed to push the cub off his chest.

Vitani looked at the Pridelands hunter, knowing full well that if she took him down it would still hurt Simba. Maybe not the full way her mother wished to have… But her mother should also be taking any opening she could get when it came down to it.

Vitani slowly moved to back away, Akida looking at her the entire time. She offered a playful smirk and vanished back into the grass with amusement, Akida could only look at her before deciding to find his sister and leave.

Still? She was on his mind more and more when he thought about it. Akida didn't understand these feelings he had towards her, but maybe his mother could explain that to some degree or another when it came down to it.

Yes, such a fun and enjoyable idea… If only he knew what life would bring sooner or later.

And the plans fate had in store for the duo at the moment...

Phew. First chapter done! I want to point out that I will TRY and update this story as much as possible. Next chapter will ultimately be in 2-10 months or so and will show Vitani and Akida talking more and such and show how they met. Until then, Lighting Wolf out!

P.S: Next chapter will be 900-1500 words or such down the road sadly.
