With his fingers playing by muscle memory, Regulus' eyes wandered off the music sheets. The only change was that the key was transposed higher at the chorus. Instead, his blue eyes were fixed on the swirling fabrics of a ruana and many skirts. It sounded so much like a choir even if not everyone was there yet.

You've got qualities of a royal

The Black Brothers smiled at Bruno, but they frowned at themselves. Sirius proved his point that he wasn't a good royal as he braided the flowers he took from his brother.

Regulus supposed that today was a 'royal' day as he sat though the very long song, surrounded by people he'd tried to avoid connecting with. Yet, here he was, caving in.

Patient, empathetic, and unafraid of toil

Sirius surprised Regulus by kissing the crown of his head. "You've been hanging out with Potter and Lupin," his younger brother commented. Sirius snorted in reply. Sirius was the least patient and he had gotten it from his mother, most certainly. His empathy and work were selective.

Regulus wasn't patient, but he was certainly better at it than Sirius. However, Sirius was better at empathy than Regulus, but was opposite in the work department.

Bruno had them beat in all three aspects by several miles. This was him to a tee.

Bright, observant, and loyal

Now, all three of them had these qualities. They were very intelligent, detail-oriented when he wanted to be in Sirius' case, and very loyal in all three cases.

You've been planted in the right soil

Regulus contemplated if he had found his soil yet while Sirius and Bruno knew where they belonged in the vast, wide world.
