Ben and Juan exert more power to finish their battle. Juan's magical items power had returned to normal after being weakened by the discharge of lightning. Now he can use all of it's power again despite lower durability.

Ben realized this and was worried. These magical items are the best ones that Juan stole. Surely, the Magic Council would want these back undamaged.

Unlike the Fairy Tail mages that didn't care about the condition of the magical items, Ben did. His guild is small and they wouldn't be able to handle the consequences if he messed up.

Ben is still in Gravity Mode and expanded his domain to a 100 meter radius. It is to prevent Juan from getting away with the lightning armor's speed. He can't strength the gravity with such a wide domain, but it's better than letting Juan move around freely.

Both of them clash with their weapons very skillfully. Ben used his gravity-coated daggers while Juan used his lightning sword and shield. Juan's defense is very solid and Ben still can't breach it.

'This guy is very good at defense like he has been used to it his whole life.' Ben thought while attacking Juan.

Ben's hunch was right because Juan specialized in defense. His low magic power forced him to go on the defensive in his battles. That way, he will be able to launch a counterattack using his magic power without worrying about running out of it.

The battle was also difficult because Ben and Juan are smart and experienced fighters. They can read each other's moves and counter them perfectly. Both of them are the same type of fighter who use their brain a lot in a battle.

But there are things Ben has and Juan doesn't. He has sharp senses and instinct from his Dragon Slayer traits. Ben trusts his brain, but he trusted his senses and instinct more.

It was proven when Ben suddenly jumped backward even though Juan didn't strike. Right after he jumped away, a bolt of lightning came down from the sky. It hit Ben's initial position and destroyed the ground.

"Tch, you saw it." Juan said, disappointed.

Ben didn't say anything, but he frowned.

'Where did he summon that lightning from? He didn't prepare anything before. Did it come from the sky directly?' Ben thought.

Ben peeked at the sky and saw dark clouds. He was stunned to see this because he just realized it. He was too absorbed in his battle to notice the dark clouds.

"You can gather clouds too?" Ben asked.

"It's not me, but Elise. She must've used her ultimate magic that creates multiple giant tornadoes. Those tornadoes affect the sky and create dark clouds. I don't know it can happen, but it's my luck, so I will take advantage of it." Juan said with a grin.

Ben clicked his tongue as he jumped to the side and evaded another lightning strike. He jumped around repeatedly as Juan kept using the lightning strikes. Ben can't take these natural lightning strikes because they're more powerful that Juan's Lightning Magic.

'This can't go on. I need to stop him from using the natural lightning. Even I won't be able to withstand a natural disaster like this.' Ben thought.

A barrage of natural lightning strikes rain down on Ben. He uses his senses and instinct to the max to dodge the lightning strikes. It will be easier to change his elemental mode to Light Mode. But his gravity domain will disappear and Juan will be able to move freely.

However, the lightning strikes don't slow down. Instead they get faster. Ben had a harder time evading them and he was almost hit a few times. He finally felt a very strong sense of danger and can't figure out a way to stop it.

"DAMN, FUCK IT!" Ben yelled as he changed his elemental mode to Light Mode as fast as he can.

Ben flashed very fast to the left at the right time to avoid a lot of lightning strikes that rain down on their initial position at the same time. Juan gathered those lightning strikes to attack Ben at the same time.

Although Ben can evade that attack, Juan is still satisfied. The gravity domain has disappeared because of Ben's mode change. Now Juan doesn't feel the pressure anymore and can use all of his strength.

"This time, I will end it for real. CHARGE!" Juan shouted while lowering his stance.

Suddenly, a very loud rumbling sound is heard in the sky. Ben looked up and saw a swirling cloud above them. Then suddenly, a very big and strong lightning strike came down.

But the lightning didn't strike Ben, it struck Juan instead. The lightning strikes created a loud boom and shock wave. A big charred crater appeared beneath Juan who now had wild lightning currents on his body.

"He he, now you won't be able to do anything, boy." Juan said while grinning wickedly.

Juan suddenly flashed away at a very high speed and suddenly appeared in front of Ben. Even in Light Mode, Ben couldn't react to his speed. The Light Mode doesn't give him the speed of light, it just significantly increased his speed.

Juan swung his lightning-coated sword at Ben diagonally. The sword moved really fast and Ben can't dodge it. It hit his torso and a clanking sound is heard from the contact.

"What?!" Juan exclaimed in surprise as Ben was flung back from the impact.

Juan was surprised to hear that clanking sound. It meant that Ben was wearing something hard under his shirt. He also noticed Ben wasn't cut by the sword.

"Damn, you became very fast all of a sudden. You've just charged yourself up with that lightning, huh? Are you an electronic or something?" Ben asked jokingly as he stood up.

A diagonal cut can be seen on Ben's shirt as he stood up. But there was no wound at all and a black cloth can be seen under his shirt. It's an armored shirt that Ben crafted from the skin of the Etherious he fought during his S-Class promotion exam.

Ben forged this armor after 2 months of rest. His old armor and shirt had been destroyed by Grossalia, so he made this. It was a lot more durable than the previous one that used the scales from the giant serpents.

"Hmm? The clouds have dispersed. You used up all of their lightning, huh? Thanks for that, then. Now I charge myself too." Ben said with a grin.

Juan frowns after hearing that, but then his eyes widen as Ben began sucking up the sunlight. With the clouds having dispersed, the sunlight can reach the ground again. So this was Ben's chance to regain his energy and end the battle.

"*BURP* Ah, thanks for the meal." Ben said while grinning.

"Oi, that's cheating." Juan protested.

"Say that only if you didn't do the same thing." He countered.

Ben and Juan flash towards each other at high speed and clash again. Now their speed and strength are equal. But Ben had thought of a strategy to defeat Juan after fighting this long.

As Juan swung his sword at Ben, he parried it with his dagger. Ben also hit Juan's shield on the side and now Juan's body is wide open. Juan gathered lightning on his body armor to block any attack from Ben.

However, Ben's target isn't his body armor. Ben swung his dagger up to Juan's face. It hit Juan's helmet and knocked it off.

Ben grabbed Juan's hair with his right hand after dropping his dagger. Then Ben pulled Juan's hair down while extending a knee. Juan held his shield in front of him to block Ben's knee strike.

But it didn't change a thing as Juan's face hit his own hand and shield. Ben's kick also pushed the shield and Juan's face was hit harder.

"UMPH!" Juan grunted as his face hit his own hand.

Ben took his knee back and roughly slammed Juan's face into the ground.

BAM*

It wasn't over yet as Ben created a gravity ball on his left hand and placed it on Juan's head. Now Juan can't move as his head was pinned down. Ben grinned, then ended the battle by punching Juan's head repeatedly until he fainted.

"This job's complete."
