Carrie could hear a huge sigh in Adrien's voice. On the phone, she listened closely. At first silence, Adrien cleared his voice. Then, it became clear he was about to speak.
"Look, I totally understand. If you are unsure, I want you to think about it. I would really like, at some point, for us to go out. We have a lot in common. I thought it would be nice to hang out with you outside of school.",said Adrien.
Carrie felt as her cheeks turned red…
"Wow, this is actually happening…" ,thought Carrie to herself.
"Sure, I would like that, Adrien.",said Carrie into the phone.
Adrien laughed happily.
"There is upcoming a carnival in Paris. It would be nice for us to go. Nino is going with Alya and Marinette is going with Luka.I thought it would be nice for the both of us to go, if you want.",said Adrien.
Carrie let out a smile.
"Okay, I will go.",said Carrie.
"Alright, see you then.",said Adrien.
"See you, too.",said Carrie.
A sudden noise made Carrie jump. Then, she heard her.
"Carrie!",shouted Margaret.
"I got to go, bye!",said Carrie.
She hung up the phone and ran off towards her mother's demanding tone.
