Adrien followed Carrie all the way out of the carnival like a lost puppy. He finally reached her outside in the parking lot. Once he had made it to the parking lot, he could see Carrie was standing there crying.
"Carrie?",he asked.
He reached out and was about to place his hand on the back of her shoulder.
"Stay away from me!",screamed Carrie.
Adrien had seen that a tree near them, was falling and about to land on the both of them! Adrien, grabbed at Carrie again, to get themselves out of the way. Then, the tree collapsed! Adrien and Carrie watched and saw the tree on the ground! They were shocked to see what had happened. Adrien looked at Carrie, who was more hysterical than less.
"I'm sorry. It's my fault, I did it!",she cried.
Adrien was completely confused. Suddenly, he saw a car driving up towards them. The car screeched to a stop. Adrien saw the driver turned out to be Margaret! Margaret got out of the car and saw Adrien holding Carrie! She gasped in disgust, ran over and pushed Adrien off of Carrie.
"How dare of you trying to take advantage of my innocent daughter!",yelled Margaret.
"No Mama, please don't!" ,shouted Carrie
"Don't shout at me, Carrie! I saw what was going on! He was trying to take advantage of your innocence!",yelled Margaret.
Adrien was confused watching the whole event unfolding right in front of him. Nino and Alya came out the front of the exit see on what was going on. Margaret grabbed Carrie by the wrist and moved her all the way to the car where she forced her into the passenger's seat. Before she headed to the driver's seat, she walked towards Adrien to look directly at him.
"Stay away from my daughter or God may send you to the depths of hell.",warned Margaret to Adrien.
She walked towards the drivers seat , got in , before slamming it shut! Adrien watched as the car drove off into the distance. Luka and Marinette came to the front and joined Alya and Nino. They were holding corn dogs, getting ready to eat.
"What happened, what did we miss?",asked Luka.
Everyone was silent. They did not really understand what they had just seen.
