Super Smash Bros adventures chapter 8
Mario is in the training room learning more about his moveset and what he should improve. He uses a Smash Computer that's exclusive for training and called out for another dummy that looks like him.
"Ok, how about this?"
Mario runs to the clone, throws it down, and follows it with his Punch-Punch-Kick combo. The next thing he did is throws the clone down again and follows it with a couple of Uppercuts. The last thing he did was throw the clone upwards and follows it with a couple of Back Flip Kicks. The clone faded away and Mario's done with his training.
"That should do it. I learned a good amount of things today."
Mario heads out of the training room and head to the cafeteria for a drink of water. While heading to the Cafeteria, Mario found Peach and Zelda having a conversation walking towards his direction. Like before, he wasn't ready to talk or even make eye contact with her and just run in a different direction. While running, Zelda sees him and called for him.
"Hi Mario!"
Even though Mario heard Zelda's voice, he continues running, pretending that he didn't hear her. "Sorry, Zelda."
"Did Mario hear me? I thought my voice was loud enough for him to hear." Zelda wondered.
"Sorry Zelda, but I think it's because that Mario doesn't want to see me yet." Peach apologized.
Zelda looks at Peach with a confused look. "But why? Weren't you and Mario lovers?"
"Yeah… but not anymore." Peach sadly says, looking down on the floor.
"You have to tell me everything, Peach. I want to know why you and Mario can't make contact with each other." Zelda demanded.
"Fine, but let's do it in out room." Peach says.
Mario arrived back at his room while Link and Pit are playing a party game on their Nintendo Switch.
Link pauses the game. "What's the matter, Mario?"
"It looks like you just saw a monster or something." Pit stated.
"Sorry guys, it's nothing. What are you two playing?" Mario asked.
While Mario is trying to fetch for another controller, Link takes it away from him. "Is it because you saw Peach? There's no other reason you look scared."
"Umm… no." Mario tries hiding it, but decides to spill the beans since Link already knows. "Yeah, I saw Peach walking with Zelda earlier."
"Did something happen between you and Princess Peach? Please tell me!" Pit begged.
"I don't know…" Mario says.
"Come on, it'll make you feel better." Pit begs.
Mario sighs and sits down on the couch. "Ok, I'll tell you what happened between me and Peach."
"Yeah, story time!" Pit exclaims.

One month ago.
Mario was searching in his closet for some nice clothes to wear. He was choosing between a nice black tuxedo or a more casual clothing of a red long sleeve shirt with blue jeans.
"This is hard… What should I wear?" someone knocks on Mario's door. "Come in."
Luigi comes into the room. "Hey Mario, what you up to?"
"Luigi, great timing! Which set of clothes should I wear?" Mario asks showing the clothes.
"Matters, what are you going to be doing today?" Luigi asks.
Mario smiles. "I'm going to finally ask to Peach marry me."
Luigi turns really happy for his brother. "That's really great news! If you're going to do something so important like that, then wear the tuxedo."
"Thanks, Luigi." Mario happily thanked putting his other set of clothes away.
"Where are you going to propose at?" Luigi asks.
"I decided to propose at this fancy restaurant Italian restaurant that just opened up at New Donk City. I made a reservation and have a Waiter holding onto my wedding ring there. Hopefully she says yes." Mario replies.
"There's no way that she'll say no after everything you've done together. It was meant to be." Luigi happily says.
Mario smiles. "Thanks, Luigi."
Mario changes into his tuxedo, he puts on his best cologne, and puts on gel to style up his hair. "How do I look?"
Luigi gives a thumb up. "Like a million gold coins. You're ready to go."
Mario smiles and head to the door. "Wish me luck."
"You got this, bro." Luigi says.
Later on, Mario and Peach arrived at the Italian restaurant at New Donk City. The two lovebirds were seated by their Waiter in a table that's full of nice glittery utensils and plates with an appetizer of fresh cooked breadsticks. Mario stares in awe at the beautiful dress in her short pink dress with her haired tied up in a ponytail. Peach looks back and blushes when she sees Mario staring at her. Later after they finished eating, Mario told the Waiter about their desert and winks at him as a signal for the ring. The Waiter brought in a huge chocolate cake filled with ice strawberry ice cream inside and gives Mario the wedding ring. While Peach is eating, Mario walks up to her nervously and kneels on one leg, which surprises her.
"Peach, we've known each other for so long. We talk, laugh, cry, play, and love each other. I want to spend the rest of my life being with you and hope you do the same. I'll do my best if you accept this ring, to love you and protect you for the rest of my life. Princess Peach, will you marry me?" Mario proposes showing his wedding ring.
Peach was speechless while the people around them stare at them with awe. No answer was made until she stands up and holds Mario's hands. He thought it was going to be a yes, but instead, it's a no when she shook her head left and right.
"I'm sorry Mario… but I can't marry you." Peach sadly replied with tears falling out of her eyes.
Peach runs out of the Italian Restaurant, leaving Mario completely sad and alone. He looks at his wedding ring and puts it in his pocket not knowing why his expectations just changed in just a few seconds.
"What just happened? Why did I get denied from the love of my life?" Mario sadly thinks to himself.

"And that's the end of it. I haven't talked to Peach since then." Mario ends his story.
After Mario's story, Pit was left with tears covering his eyes and completely sad. "What a sad story! I'm so sorry to hear that. I wish that you didn't tell me."
"It's ok. I'm actually glad to tell you so I can let out my feelings to more than just actually hiding it. You're right, this actually made me feel better." Mario says slightly smiling.
Pit wipes his tears and sees Link with some tears in his eyes. "Are you crying too? I thought you already knew about it?"
"Yeah, but it's much sadder when Mario actually tells the story." Link says wiping away his tears.
Suddenly, Link and Pit approach Mario with a big hug with some tears coming out of them still. Mario smiles, hugs back, and cries too because of the good friends he has.
"Thanks guys." Mario happily thanked letting them go.
"This sad story made me craving for some unhealthy snacks. Let's go to the super market at Smash Town and buy some chips, cookies, and candy." Pit suggests.
"And we can go back here and play some videogames." Link suggests.
Mario smiles and nods in agreement. "Yeah sounds good. Let's go."
Mario, Link, and Pit head out and on their way to Smash Town.
In Peach's point of view, she told the story, Zelda cried really hard and even Samus had some tears falling out of her eyes.
"I'm so sorry to hear that!" Zelda cried.
"It was a lot sadder that you told the story than Mario actually telling us why without a explanation." Samus says.
"Yeah… Thanks for listening to me." Peach says, slightly smiling.
"Are you going to tell Mario why you left?" Zelda asks.
"He deserves to know why you just ran off." Samus says.
"That's the best I can do now. Since I can't feel the same love for Mario, I at least have to tell him why I did that…" Peach says, wiping away some tears from her eyes.
Sorry for the little delay. For ThunderFuse926's question, I can put Metal Sonic in the story. Just don't know what I should write about.
