Super Smash Bros adventures chapter 12
"This is so exciting!" Pit exclaims, overwhelmed with joy.
"I'm excited to." Link agreed.
"Today's the day we get to see more newcomers coming. I wonder who they'll be?" Mario wonders.
"It'll be cool to see Pittoo here." Pit says.
"Who's Pittoo?" Link asks.
"Pittoo is basically a clone of me, but in black clothing. But, his real name is Dark Pit." Pit replies.
"How are there two of you?" Mario asks.
"Well, it all happened while I was fighting some giant Fireball lady named Pandora. She brought out a mirror called, the Mirror of Truth, and I tried destroying it. Before I destroyed it with a super cool Flying Kick, Dark Pit was made. And that's how Pittoo was born." Pit tells his story.
"So basically, he's an evil version of you?" Link asks.
"Yeah, but he's not too evil. He has some good in him because of what I've done for him to save him." Pit replies.
"If he does come in, he's going to be a clone character." Mario says.
"Even so, I'll be happy to see him. Who do you guys want to see?" Pit asks.
"Haven't thought of it to be honest. Maybe another character from my univese. It'll be funny if a Piranha Plant joins us." Mario replies.
"I highly doubt that. For me, I'll be fine any newcomer that nobody expects to come." Link says.
"That's good too. Maybe someone unexpected like Banjo and Kazooie will one day join us." Mario says.
"Someone that no one expects. Sakurai must use his magic to give that character a moveset. I mean he gave characters Wii Fit Trainer, R.O.B, and Mr. Game and Watch movesets for crying out loud! Sakurai is a genius." Pit says.
As all the Smashers arrived, Sakurai went up to the stage and begins his announcement.
"Welcome everyone to the second Newcomer Ceremony. For this ceremony, there won't be as many newcomers as last time, but these aren't the last of the newcomers. There are still plenty more newcomers coming so please be patient and enjoy today's Newcomers ceremony." Sakurai announces.
The lights of the auditorium turn off, only leaving one big light toward the curtains. The curtains rise up and the newcomers are: Dark Pit from Kid Icarus, Bowser Jr. with the rest of the Koopalings from Super Mario, Lucas from Earthbound, Mewtwo from Pokémon, Roy from Fire Emblem, and Duck Hunt Dog and Bird from Duck Hunt. The Smashers cheer loudly for the Smashers that are new and returning veterans. It made Smashers from the crowd cry tears of joy since they get to see Smashers they have a good relationship with.
"That's all for today. And I would like to apologize for not setting up a feast just yet. We'll be having baked goods ready in a few hours so please show your love and attention to the returning and new Smashers." Sakurai announces.

The Smashers all gather around in the hall greeting and meeting the newcomers and veterans.
"Pittoo!" Pit happily greeted, giving him a big hug. I'm so happy that you're here! I just talked about you to Mario and Link that you might be a possible new Smasher. And I was right!"
Dark Pit was getting really irritated and try pushing Pit away, but couldn't. "Can you let go of me? You're already annoying me when I just arrived."
"Aww, don't be like that when you've been invited to the biggest crossover fighting tournament." Palutena happily says and joining the two for a group hug.
"Not you too." Dark Pit angrily says.
"Pit's not kidding, he looks exactly like him, but in black clothing." Mario says, two Pits.
"But Dark Pit has a different attitude than the other Pit." Link says.
"Look at them reunited together like that. It makes me so happy." Luigi says, crying tears of joy.
Bowser Jr. and the Koopalings all happily un to Bowser. "Papa!"
Bowser with a big smile on his face greets all of them with a big hug. "My children! I'm so happy to see you all here!"
"We miss you too, Papa." Bowser Jr. says.
Ganondorf and King Dedede look at Bowser in a weird way since they never thought he would have such a family side of him.
"Didn't expect Bowser be all happy like that." Ganondorf says.
"He doesn't look like a villain with his children around." King Dedede says.
"He's always like that in our world." Waluigi says.
"When he's with his children, his daddy side is out." Wario says.
Ness runs to Lucas and gives him a big hug. "Lucas, you're back! I thought I wasn't going to see you in this tournament."
Lucas cries tears of joy and hugs back. "I'm happy to be here with you and the other Smashers. There are a lot of new faces here... Its kind of making me nervous..."
"My, another cute kid here." Rosalina says, with some Lumas surrounding him.
Lucas got scared and hides behind Ness. "What are these creatures? And who's this tall lady that looks like Princess Peach?"
"My name is Rosalina and these are my children, Lumas. They're really friendly if you get to know them." Rosalina happily greeted.
"Come on Lucas, touch them." Ness says, bringing Lucas's hand to a yellow Luma.
Lucas touches the Luma and it made a happy noise. "So soft."
Rosalina goes up to Lucas. "Ness here told me about what happened to your mother and brother and I was hurt from hearing about them. If you need someone that can act like your mother, I'm right here. No need to hold your tears anymore."
Lucas can't help but cry and hug Rosalina tightly. The Smashers around them heart stroke when seeing Rosalina's mother instinct on.
Mewtwo was greeted by the other Pokémon. "Didn't expect to be here again. Hello, fellow Pokémon."
"It's been a while, Mewtwo." Pikachu happily greeted.
"We haven't seen you since Melee." Jiggly Puff says.
"It has been a long time since that tournament. I see we have some new Pokémon that joined this tournament since I was gone." Mewtwo says, looking at Charizard, Lucario, and Greninja.
"There were two more Pokemon that were in the Super Smash Bros tournament last tournament, but they didn't make it." Charizard sadly says.
"You're the legendary psychic type, Mewtwo. We must battle each other." Lucario says.
"Us too. I always wanted to fight a legendary Pokémon in this tournament." Greninja says.
Mewtwo nods in agreement. "Of course. It'll be an honor to fight each and everyone of you. And I won't be holding back."
"Don't do that or else it won't be a fun battle." Charizard says.
Roy was greeted by the Fire Emblem group. "Long time no see, Prince Marth."
Marth smiles and gives him a handshake. "Please, just call me Marth. It's good to have you back, Roy."
Lyn looks at Roy surprisingly and sees a complete copy of her friend from her world. "You must be Eliwood's son? You look a lot like him."
"That's right! You must be Lyndis. My father told me a lot about how you and Hector were always working together. I must thank you for fighting alongside with them." Roy says in respect.
Lyn smiles. "I'm glad your father still remembers me. And no need to be so formal."
Roy looks at Ike, Robin, and Lucina. "You three must be from different timelines in my World."
"My name's Ike, the Radiant Hero." Ike introduces himself.
"My name is Robin, the Tactician." Robin introduces himself.
"And my name is Lucina. It's nice to meet you, Roy." Lucina introduces herself.
Roy smiles. "New warriors from different timelines. This is amazing. I hope we all get along well in this new tournament."
Duck Hunt Dog and Duck was getting petted by some Smashers.
"It's weird to see a Dog and a Duck combined into one character." Fox says, petting the Dog on the head.
"At least there are more animal characters in the game." Falco says, petting the Duck on the head.
"I wonder how they're going to fight in this tournament? This is going really interesting." Shulk says.
"You'll know soon enough." Duck Hunt Dog says, as he lets out a laugh.
"We're full of surprises." Duck Hunt Duck says.
"Are you two always this close?" Fox asks.
"Well... not really." Duck Hunt Dog replies.
"It's kind of a long story, but we weren't really friends in the beginning." Duck Hunt Duck says.
"After sometime, we got use to each other and decided to be friends." Duck Hunt Dog says.
Sakurai smiles at all the Smashers greeting the newcomers and veterans. He remembers something and walks up to Mario. "Mario, I need you to do go help bake goods with Princess Peach."
"Umm… can't someone else do it for her? I'm not ready to speak to her yet." Mario asks.
"Sorry Mario, but Princess Peach wants you to help her. I did ask if someone like Zelda can help, but she wants you since you haven't talked for a while." Mario looks down and Sakurai places his hand on his shoulder. "Mario, it's time for you to talk to her. It maybe hard for you since from what happened, but you have to move on sooner or later. Just do your best and try to accept what happened."
Mario looks up to Sakurai and nods. "All right, I'll go help."
Mario is in front of the doors of the kitchen. He looks through the window and sees Peach putting on her apron and getting the things she need to bake and all of the cookie and cake mix. He looks away and walks away from the door hoping to find someone else to bake with her. He then stops and grips his fist knowing that nothing will be improved if he doesn't go in and help her out. He walks into the Kitchen with Peach looking at him.
"Hey, Peach… Sakurai told me that you want me to help you bake." Mario says.
Peach smiles and gives Mario an apron. "Thanks for coming! Let's start baking or else the Smashers will get rally hungry. We don't want them to wait long."
Mario puts on his apron and is ready to go. "All right, let's get this over it."
Mario gets a tray, shapes the cookie dough into small balls, places them on the tray and puts them in the oven. Peach mixes the cake mix with water, oil, and eggs in a large bowl, beat the batter for a couple of minutes, pour it in a pan, and puts it in the oven. Both Smashers stayed quiet since they have nothing to say and kind of awkward since the incident. After the timer went out, the two Smashers bring out whatever they're baking out of the oven. Mario counts the cookies to make sure that there's enough for all the Smashers and workers, while Peach is decorating the cakes. After counting all the cookies, Mario watches Peach decorating the cakes with frosting and sprinkles and smiles when she hears her beautiful humming. After some time, the bake goods were finished.
"We're done!" Peach happily exclaims.
"Yep finally." Mario says, wiping off the sweat on his forehead with his arm.
Peach smiles. "It was a lot of fun baking with you again, Mario."
Mario smiles. "Yeah, it was fun baking with you again, Peach."
Mario and Peach takes the cookies, cakes, and the ice cream out to the ball room.
"Thanks again with helping, Mario." Peach happily thanked.
"Not a problem. I'll be opening the for the Smashers now." Mario says.
"Wait. Before you do, I just want to apologize from what happened a couple of months ago." Peach says.
"Oh that… it's ok." Mario says.
"No it's not ok… We've been together for so long and I just ran off like that without telling you why I did it. I have something really important to confess to you." Peach says.
"Well… what is it?" Mario asks.
Peach inhales and exhales, and looks at Mario with a serious look. "I'm getting married to a Prince from my childhood."
Mario's heart crashed when he heard the word, "married". His eyes were about to burst, but decided to hold it until later on. "A Prince from your childhood? That's the reason why you didn't accept my proposal at the Italian restaurant?"
"Yes, but it's not what you think. Mario, these past years we knew each other were the best years of my life. You saved me from Bowser many times, we had so much fun doing things like dancing, playing sports, party games, and all those kind of fun things. A month before the proposal, I told my parents about you when they visited my Kingdom. I told them how kind, fun, and heroic you are, and all the things you did to help me and my Kingdom. But, they don't accept it since you're not royalty. I tried convincing them, but they still said no and the only person I can marry is the Prince from my childhood."
Mario couldn't believe it and looks down with his heart even more broken. "So, it was an arranged marriage the whole time. And I can't marry you because I'm not royalty? I… I thought you didn't love me..."
"No, Mario… I loved you with all my heart. You were the man I've fallen in love for since we first met… I'm sorry I couldn't tell you sooner. I wish there's something I can do to change my parent's mind."
Mario tightens his hands and lets them go. "It's ok… now I know why you left without giving me a explanation on why you didn't accept my proposal."
Peach watches Mario about to leave and trying to convince him to stay. "Aren't you hungry?"
Mario stops. "Sorry… I lost my appetite."
Mario opens the door for all the Smashers to come and all the Smashers enters the ballroom, while he walks back. A tear falls from Peach's eye and she wipes it away quickly before anyone saw. She puts on a smile to the Smashers coming in so they don't want to worry about her and serve the deserts. Mario arrived in his room and jumps on top of his bed. He looks at the ceiling and a lot of tears fall on his face from what just happened.
