Super Smash Bros Adventures chapter 17
Mario is in his room, playing some games on the Nintendo Switch by himself since Link and Pit are out. He plays for about an hour straight, but got bored really quickly.
"Man… It sucks being here by myself. Link went to hang out with Zelda from his world, Pit is out shopping with Palutena, and I'm stuck here since I have nothing else to do."
Mario turns off the Nintendo Switch and walks out of his room. "I wonder if there's anyone I can hangout with." He walks around the Smash Mansion, finding something to do. While walking, he sees Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong heading out. "Hey, Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong, what you two up to?" Mario asks.
"We're going back to our home to get a lot of our Bananas from our home and bring them here." Donkey Kong replies.
"Bananas? Don't we have some at the cafeteria?" Mario wonders.
"Yeah… But they're not as good as the ones we collected back home." Diddy Kong admits.
"Our Bananas in our world are really delicious that we can eat almost a hundred a day." Donkey Kong says.
"It's like a delicious cake, but healthier." Diddy Kong says.
"Must be really good. I haven't tried any Bananas from your world before." Mario says.
"Then why don't you come with us? We'll let you try the best Bananas in the world." Donkey Kong suggests.
"Yeah! And we can introduce you to our home!" Diddy Kong says.
"That's right! I haven't been to your house yet either." Mario says.
"Then let's get going, my mouth is already watery!" Donkey Kong says.

Mario, Donkey Kong, and Diddy Kong arrived at the Jungle of Donkey Kong Island. Mario follows Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong to their home, a Tree House with a sign that says Kong on it.
"Welcome to our home!" Diddy Kong says.
"Wow! It's been a while since I've seen a Tree House during my adventures. Does it look really small for you two to stay?" Mario asks.
"It's a lot bigger in the inside. Come on." Donkey Kong says.
The three Smashers climb up a ladder to the tree house and Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong give a little tour in their Tree House. It was a lot roomier, there's even a T.V., jukebox, and even a Nintendo Switch.
"Wow, you were right, there's a lot more space than I imagined." Mario says, looking around.
Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong look around and notice something wrong.
"This looks a lot emptier than the last time we were here." Diddy Kong says.
"If I remember right, we're suppose to have at least five hundred Bananas in here." Donkey Kong says.
"Maybe Dixie, Funky, and Cranky Kong visited and ate some Bananas." Diddy Kong says.
"Maybe… Unless..." Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong look at each other and quickly go out of their Tree House.
"Hey! Where are you two going?" Mario wondered, following them.
Mario follows Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong into a Cave that looks really empty. Donkey Long and Diddy Kong run around like horde of Cuccos.
"They're gone!" Donkey Kong cried.
"They're all gone!" Diddy Kong cried.
"What's gone?" Mario asked.
"This cave here is where we store all of our Bananas we collect during our adventures. There's suppose to be at least a million Bananas in here." Diddy Kong replied.
Mario's eyes popped out. "A million?!"
"Yeah, and two hundred Golden Bananas. Those Bananas are really hard to find that we only eat them in special occasions. Ten times tastier than the normal ones."Donkey Kong says.
"Man… You two must really do a lot of hard work to collect a million Bananas." Mario looks down and notice a footprint on the ground. "Hey, check this out."
Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong look closely at the footprint and eyes popped out.
"It's a Kremling's footprint!" Diddy Kong exclaims.
"No way… It's been too long since we last battled him. Maybe he know that we're living in the Smash Mansion now that he used this chance to steal all of out Bananas." Donkey Kong says.
"Who are you talking about?" Mario asks.
"Our nemesis, King K. Rool!" Diddy Kong exclaims.
"He always steal our Bananas and he once took me as hostage." Donkey Kong explains.
"It's like forever since we last seen him. Now he's making his move? We're going to get our Bananas back!" Diddy Kong explains.
"Then let me help." Mario offered.
Donkey Kong smirks. "Right! Let's give K. Rool a good reunion Punch to the face.

The three Smashers arrived at the shore and see a giant pirate ship, the Gangplank Galleon. Diddy Kong takes out a periscope and sees their Banana Hoard on the ship.
"All of our Bananas are there." Diddy Kong says.
"You weren't kidding about your Banana Hoard. It looks like a mountain." Mario surprisingly says.
"We're getting them back right now." Donkey Kong says.
"How are we going to go there? Is there some cannon or boat?" Mario asks.
"Well… We'll just have to swim there!" Donkey Kong says.
"What?! But look how far it is! Do you think we can make it?" Mario asks.
"Umm… I don't know. But, we can try." Donkey Kong suggests.
"Donkey Kong may have strength, but his brain is the size of a peanut. Maybe even smaller." Diddy Kong says.
"If you don't want a Giant Punch to your face, then shut your mouth." Donkey Kong warned.
Mario sighs. "Then swimming it is then."
After some time, Mario, Donkey Kong, and Diddy Kong arrived on the Gangplank Galleon without getting noticed. The three Smashers hid themselves and see a big group of Kremlings eating some of Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong's Bananas. The two of them grit their teeth furiously.
Mario tries calming them down. "Stay calm you two. If we want to do this quietly, we must-"
Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong barges in without thinking and takes out the Kremlings that are eating their Bananas. Mario sighs and joins in the battle. Mario fights of the Kremlings by Stomping on their heads, Punches, Kicks, and his Fireballs. Donkey Kong fights using his Punches, Headbutts, and Spinning Kong attack. Diddy Kong takes out his Peanut Guns to take out the nearby Kremlings and some Kicks when they're close by. Suddenly, more Kremlings appeared. Donkey Kong grabs some Barrels nearby and throws them at them. Diddy Kong puts on his Barrel Jetpack and takes out some Kremlings with a ramming tackle. Mario charges up his F.L.U.D.D and pushes out the rests of the Kremlings off the ship.
"K. Rool, come on out!" Donkey Kong yelled.
"Bring that golden belly you're so purple of out!" Diddy Kong yelled.
Suddenly, a big crocodile, in a pirate outfit, and a cannon-looking weapon out from the crows nest.
"Ha, ha, ha, it's been a long time, Kongs. As lively as ever."
"King K. Rool, give us back our Bananas or else." Donkey Kong says, cracking his knuckles.
"Didn't you learn your lesson from those other times you tried taking our Banana Hoard?" Diddy Kong wonders.
"A King can do whatever he please! No matter how many times you beat me, I'll always come back. Prepare yourself, because I'm going to beat you and your human friend once and for all!" King K. Rool says, aiming his Blunderbuss.
"Wow, he's almost as big as Bowser." Mario says.
"Mario, let us fight him." Donkey Kong says.
"It'll be like good old times for us."Diddy Kong says.
"If you two need help, I'll jump in." Mario says, getting out of their way.
King K. Rool fires a Cannonball out of his Blunderbuss. Donkey Kong dodges the projectile and charges in. Diddy Kong fires off Peanuts from his Peanut Guns. King K. Rool blocks the Peanuts with his Blunderbuss and shoots a Cannonball at Diddy Kong. Diddy Kong avoids it by flying away with his Barrel Jetpack and Donkey Kong got close and throws a few Punches. King K. Rool blocks Donkey Kong's attacks with his Blunderbuss and attacks back with it. Donkey Kong blocks the attacks, takes away King K. Rool's Blunderbuss away, and lands a strong Punch on King K. Rool's stomach, sliding him back. Diddy Kong flies in with his Jetpack and lands a strong Kick on, King K. Rool's face, knocking him down. King K. Rool gets back up, takes off his pirate hat, and throws his Crown at Diddy Kong. Diddy Kong flies over it, but King K. Rool grabs him in the air, and slams him down on the ground. Donkey Kong charges in and throws a strong Punch. King K. Rool blocks Donkey Kong's attack with his Golden Belly, and counters back with his own medicine, sending Donkey Kong flying back. While Diddy Kong has the chance, he shoots out a barrage of Peanuts with his Peanut Guns. King K. Rool blocks all of them with his Golden Belly, and reflects them back, hitting Diddy Kong. Donkey Kong charges in and attacks with a Giant Clap. King K. Rool stops both of Donkey Kong's arms and lands a strong Drop Kick, sending Donkey Kong down on the ground.
"Wow, King K. Rool is really strong. Even both Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong are having trouble with him at the same time." Mario thinks to himself.
Donkey Kong looks up and sees King K. Rool attack with a Body Slam. Donkey Kong rolls away and lands a strong Headbutt on King K. Rool's head. Diddy Kong charges in, Monkey Flips to King K. Rool, got onto him and land Slapping strikes on him, and jumps off. Donkey Kong Cargo grabs King K. Rool and slams him down onto the ground. King K. Rool grabs his Blunderbuss near him and shoots out Cannonballs at both of them. Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong jump over them and attack. King K. Rool smile, sucks both of them up in his Blunderbuss, and shoots them out of the Gangplank Galleon. Diddy Kong quickly uses his Barrel Jetpack to save him and Donkey Kong, and fly to King K. Rool in high speed. King K. Rool shoots out multiple Cannonballs and throws his Crown. Diddy Kong uses his mobility to dodge and throws Donkey Kong towards King K. Rool while charging his Giant Punch. As Donkey Kong got close, he throws his fully charged Giant Punch. King K. Rool blocks it with his Golden Belly, but it cracked and the impact sent him flying off the shape.
Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong high-fived each other and Mario clap for their performance.
"Wonderful performance. Learned some new things from your teamwork." Mario says.
"This is only a small portion of what we have in store." Diddy Kong says.
Suddenly, King K. Rool got back on the Gangplank Galleon with his Propellorpack. Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong get into their fighting stance.
"You want more, K. Rool?" Donkey Kong asks.
"Actually, I'm done fighting." King K. Rool replies.
"Like we'll believe that." Diddy Kong says.
"No, I'm serious. I haven't had this much fun for a long time. It's been so long since I enjoyed a battle like this with you two." King K. Rool says.
"Why are you saying this all of a sudden? Aren't you our enemy?" Donkey Kong asks.
"Yeah, but I consider you two more as friends, than enemies." King K. Rool says, as he lets out a laugh.
Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong turn really surprised from what King K. Rool said.
"Friends? What's got into you?" Diddy Kong asks.
"Well… I'm just kind of lonely since you two won't be here as much as before. Since me and my Kremlings heard about you attending a fighting tournament, it was kind of sad for us since we wanted to challenge you in a fight again. When we visited the Tree House today, we saw you heading there and quickly took all your Bananas and take it to the Gangplank Galleon. As expected, we fought again like the old times." King K. Rool says.
Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong was surprised from what King K. Rool said and smile.
"Let's have another battle again next time." Donkey Kong says.
"I'll be honest, it was really fun fighting with you again. K. Rool." Diddy Kong says.
King K. Rool looks at the Kongs and smile. "Yeah… You better come again so we can continue our rivalry battles."
Mario interrupts their conversation. "Sorry to interrupt, but all of the Bananas fell out of the ship during the battle."
Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong look out at the Gangplank Galleon and their eyes popped out with all of their Bananas scattered around the sea.
"Oh no!!!" Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong say at the same time, as they jump out of the ship to collect their Bananas.
King K. Rool sighs. "Guess I'll help to since I'm the one that started all this."
King K. Rool jumps out of the ship and have his Kremlings to help collect the Bananas. Mario smiles while watching both heroes and bad guys are working together.
