Super Smash Bros Adventures chapter 26
In another dimension, Master Hand and Crazy Hand are watching the Smashers with a special mirror that allows them to see what the Smashers are up to.
"Ha, ha, ha! Captain Falcon got denied again from asking out a date with Samus!" Crazy Hand cried laughing.
"Samus is a real tough person to crack. She wouldn't let anybody ask her out." Master Hand says.
"If I were a human, I would get not just Samus, but Peach, Zelda, and all the other ladies around me with my good looks." Crazy Hand says.
"But they won't go after someone who acts all crazy." Master Hand says.
"What's the matter with that? It'll just show how much of a fun person I would be." Crazy Hand says.
"It'll show that you can lose the ladies in just seconds." Master Hand says.
"Whatever! Anyways, can we go and fight the Smashers now? I'm bored just watching them like this." Crazy Hand asks.
"Not yet. It's still too early to fight them. There's a chance we can fight one Smasher in the future." Master Hand says.
"But I want to fight them now! Now!" Master Hand cried like a baby.
"Patience, Crazy Hand. If we fight them now then it wouldn't be fun for us. There's one Smasher I always want to see fight in their full potential, and that is Mr. Nintendo himself, Mario." Master Hand says.
"Oh him! He's basically the main man for anything." Crazy Hand says.
"For this tournament, he's been getting a lot of wins on his fellow Smashers making him the strongest of the bunch. He has the potential to be a challenge to face the both of us at once. When the time comes, we'll face him in our full power." Master Hand says.
"Hearing this really wants me to just get out and pick a fight with him already! Actually, maybe there's a way he can join us." Crazy Hand says.
"Join us? Can't believe I'm saying this, but that's a good idea." Master Hand compliments.
"Score one for crazy!" Crazy Hand says, flying around crazily.
"Luckily, I thought of something that can help us with that." Master Hand says.

It was a nice day at the Smash Mansion. Mario and Luigi are helping out Peach decorating the Ballroom with red and white decorations. Mario covers the table with red table covers, Luigi's placing red and white plates on each seat, and Peach is putting up a sign that says "Welcome" on it.
"What a nice way for us to bond with just the three of us. It seems like forever!" Peach happily says.
"I don't remember the last time it was just us three doing something together. Maybe before we got back into the Smash Mansion?" Luigi says.
"It has been a long time. Kind of miss the old times." Mario says.
"So what are we preparing this for, Peach?" Luigi asks.
"It's a secret. A special someone is coming over for a visit." Peach says.
"A newcomer?" Mario asks.
Peach nods her head no. "No, it's not a new Smasher. You'll see when they get-"
Mario sees Peach losing her balance on the ladder and falls off. "Peach!" He launches himself like a missile and catches her in his arms. "You ok, Princess?"
"Yeah, that was a close one." Peach says.
The two of them gaze to each other's eyes as they were having a moment. It's been a long time since they had this kind of moment until Mario learned the Peach was engaged. It was something they wish the most, but have to accept reality and move on.
Mario places Peach down on the ground and their face begin to turn red like a Mushroom.
"Th- thanks for saving me again… Mario…" Peach says, looking away.
"Y- you're welcome, Princess." Mario says, covering his face with his cap.
Luigi smirks in the background after watching what happened. "Just like old times huh?"
"Shall we continue decorating?" Peach asks.
"Yeah." Mario answers.
After sometime, the room has been fully decorated. Everything from the doors, tables, ceilings, and even the floor has been fully decorated by red and white colors decorations.
Peach sighs in relief. "Ahh… We finally finished."
"Took us almost the whole day, but it was worth it." Luigi says.
"I bet the guest coming tomorrow will be really happy to see this." Mario says.
Peach looks at Mario in a concerned look. "Mario, about the guest that's coming, I think I should tell you now."
"What? I thought you said it's a surprise? No need to tell me. I can wait tomorrow." Mario says.
"Are you sure? I think… I should really tell you." Peach suggests.
"No worries. I can wait until tomorrow." Mario says.
"If you say so." Peach says, looking a bit worried.
"Come on, let's go grab some food in the Smash Cafeteria." Mario says.
"All this work made me hungry." Luigi says, as his stomach begins to growl.
"Right behind you." Peach says.
As the three leave the dining room, Peach begins to think to herself if Mario will be ok of the special guest being here tomorrow.

Later at night, Master and Crazy Hand watches everyone in the Smash Mansion asleep.
"Looks like all the Smashers are asleep, Master Hand." Crazy Hand says, looking at a mirror of everyone in the Smash Mansion.
"Then the plan will commence." Master Hand says.
Master and Crazy Hand snapped their fingers together, then a horde of dark power appear from the ground and formed into a a villain that Mario has fought a long time ago. One that looks like a purple mushroom in a dress.
"Perfect." Master Hand says.
"We did it! Our new powers actually worked!" Crazy Hand cheered.
"I'm alive? How is this possible?"
"Welcome back from the grave!" Crazy Hand greeted.
"Who the heck you two supposed to be? This better not be some weird dream."
"We are Master and Crazy Hand and we are the ones the revived you." Master Hand introduces.
"Really? I didn't think I would be back to life after being defeated by those mustached plumbers, Mario and Luigi and their baby selves."
"If you want to get them back, then take Peach away from them." Master Hand says, opening a portal to the inside of the Smash Mansion.
"Peach huh? Didn't think I'll see the day I'll meet her again. I'll do it! But first, can I have some minions to do it for me? My large figure can cause some ruckus."
"Fine then." Crazy Hand snaps it's fingers and two little minions appeared.
"We have one shot so do it quietly."
The two Minions jumped into the portal and search around the Mansion. They look around each room until they found one room of her sleeping with Zelda and Samus. One of the Minions took out a tiny purple mushroom, places into her mouth, and forced her to swallow it. The Two Minions carefully take Peach out of the room when suddenly they heard someone.
"What's that?"
The Two Minions look behind them and see Samus walking outside of the room.
Samus yawns and see the two Minions carrying Peach. "Hey! What do you think you're doing to Peach?!"
The two Minions quickly take out their Ray Guns and shot Samus.
"Errgh!" Samus fainted on the floor.
The Minions quickly run as fast as they can and take Peach back into the Portal. Master Hand closes the Portal and they achieved their goal.
"Nicely done my Minions. Peach, she still looks delightful as ever."
"Now that we got Peach, we can continue on the plan." Master Hand says.
"What are we going to do with her?"
"Simple, do whatever you want with her to get your revenge on Mario and Luigi." Master Hand says.
"Anything I want? And you have no objection on what I do?"
"Nothing at all." Master Hand says
The villain puts on a big smirk on their face. "I think I know what I'm going to do."
…
The next day, everyone's at the Smash Cafeteria eating breakfast together. Mario looks around Peach as he doesn't see her sitting with Zelda.
"Weird, Peach always eats breakfast with Zelda." Mario says.
"And Samus isn't here. Did something happen?" Link wonders.
"Princess Zelda, do you where they at?" Pit asks.
"No, I don't. When I woke up, they weren't sleeping in their beds." Zelda answers.
"This could be a problem." Luigi says, going up to Mario.
"I hope not. Maybe she went to Smash City to buy last minute things for todays guest." Mario thought.
As everyone begin to gossip about what could've happened, Sakurai appeared and holding injured Samus around his arms. The Smashers gasp in shock and Zelda quickly runs up to her.
"Samus, what happened?" Zelda worryingly asks, looking at her injury on her stomach.
"I've been attacked last night." Samus answers, as she feels pain around her stomach.
"Attacked?! By who?" Lucina asks.
"Not quite sure. I was attacked by some kind of Ray Gun and they looked like little purple mushrooms." Samus answers.
Mario and Luigi became shocked after hearing what Samus said.
"Did those mushrooms have some kind of claws, red eyes, and fangs?" Luigi asks.
"I think so. And white spots on their heads." Samus adds on.
"There can only be one creature I can think of, Shroobs." Mario says.
"How can they be here? Only Smashers should be allowed here." Luigi wonders.
"And how do they exist still? I thought we took care of them." Mario wonders.
"I can answer that. From footage I saw, there was a portal that appeared inside of here and out of them came two of those creatures you're talking about. They were looking around the Smash Mansion for Peach and took her away." Sakurai explains.
The Smashers gasped in shocked, especially Mario. Mario's eyes were terrorized after hearing Peach has been kidnapped again.
"They can't kidnap Peach like that. Only I can do that!" Bowser angrily says.
"Yeah! That's right!" Bower Junior agreed.
"How are we going to find her? She can be anywhere." Fox wonders.
"There's one place I can think of, but it's a hit or miss. Sakurai, can you prepare me a Smash Portal to my world." Mario asks.
"If you're certain about it, I can only make one Smash Portal a day. My new experiment for making more Smash Portals will take another week or so to finish." Sakurai replies.
"We don't have time! Please, Sakurai. Something terrible to Peach can happen soon." Mario begs.
Sakurai looks at Mario at how serious he wants to save Peach and nods in agreement. "Alright. I'll prepare it right now."
Sakurai goes to prepare the Smash Portal as Mario waits in the living room for him
"Let's go together, Bro." Luigi says.
"Can't believe I'm saying this, but count me in." Bowser says.
"Us too, Mario." Link says.
"We'll save Princess Peach quickly when we work together." Pit says.
"First we should discuss tactics on what should we do." Robin says.
"Let's just barge in and save her." Little Mac suggests.
"Simple, yet super effective. Let's do that." Charizard agreed.
"Actually guys… I'm going to go by myself." Mario says.
"What?! Just you?!" Sonic asks.
"Yes, it's my duty to save Peach myself." Mario says.
"But you don't know what's up ahead. Let us help out." Pac-Man says.
"What if this is too much for you to handle? Come on Mario, we're here to help too." Mega-Man says.
"He's right. You can't go by yourself. Remember what you told me? You're not alone and to have friends to help you." Lyn reminds.
"I did tell you that, but I feel like this is something I need to do my own. Peach is the one who relies on when someone is coming to save her. I've been saving her since we were really young, always risking my life to save her from Bowser and a lot of different enemies I approached. I appreciate the help, but please. Let me go alone." Mario says.
"But Mario…" Lyn worryingly says.
"It's ok, Lyn. Let my bro go." Luigi says.
"Even though he's being a show off, he's the man in his word." Bowser says.
"Mario can be stubborn sometimes, but he always do it not just to save Peach, but to help all of us." Luigi says.
"That's how he does things and why I like him as my arch enemy. Can't stop him now." Bowser says.
"If you guys say so. I just… don't want anything terrible to happen to him." Lyn says.
"Mario will be fine. You know how strong he is." Link says.
"If Mario said he'll do it himself, then we should rely on him." Pit says.
"If everyone's ok with this, then go ahead. But promise me one thing, make sure you come back with Peach." Lyn says.
Mario smiles and gives a thumb up. "That's a promise."
A Smash Portal appeared in the living room and Mario is ready to go.
"Wish me luck." Mario says.
"You got this." Little Mac says.
"In case you need help feel free to call for us." Robin says.
"We'll be here waiting." Charizard says.
"Make sure you kick whoever kidnapped Peach's Butt." Sonic says.
Mario jumps into the Smash Portal and was on his way to the Mushroom Kingdom.
"Good luck out there, Mario." Lyn thinks to herself.

The Smash Portal takes Mario to the front of Peach's Castle. He quickly rushes inside and sees Toads doing chores around the castle.
"Mario, welcome back!"
"How's everything?"
"Would you like something to eat?"
"Is Luigi with you?"
"Hey Toads, sorry but where's Toadsworth?" Mario asks.
"I'll go get him."
A Blue Toad rushes and gets Toadsworth from the living room.
"Ah, Master Mario. Been too long since we last meet. How's the Princess doing?" Toadsworth asks.
"That's the thing I need to talk to you about. Peach, she's been kidnapped from the Smash Mansion." Mario answers.
Toadsworth and the Toads turned completely shocked after hearing what Mario said and begin the panic. Toads running around, falling on the ground, and cry.
"Kidnapped?! My goodness, it must be Bowser and his No good deeds again." Toadsworth says.
"It's not him. Bowser actually wanted to help, but I told him that I'll save Peach myself. The one who took her, are two Shroobs, the aliens we fought long time ago." Mario answers.
"Shroobs?! My word… We haven't seen those creatures way back. Does that mean, Princess Shroob and Elder Princess Shroob have been resurrected?" Toadsworth wonders.
"That's a big possibility. But I don't know how it happened yet." Mario says.
"Must be them. I heard rumors from nearby cities saying that they saw a Purple Castle flying above them. If the rumors are true, it's no doubt it's them." Toadsworth says.
"Has the Castle fly above us yet?" Mario asks.
"Not yet. But maybe soon as the Castle is flying in quite high speed." Toadsworth says.
"Then it's settled. Prepare the cannon, I'm going in." Mario says.
"Right away, Master Mario." Toadsworth says.
Toadsworth opens the gate of the cannon and Mario jumps inside of it. As soon they're finished preparing, Princess Shroob's Castle appeared flying above Princess Peach's Castle.
"It's here! Master Mario, I wish you luck. Save Princess Peach at any cost." Toadsworth says.
"You know I will. That's my job in the first place." Mario says.
The cannon aims at the castle and launches Mario at it like a torpedo.

Mario lands on the castle ground and the alarms turned on. Hordes of Shroobs came in waves and guard the entrance of the castle by aiming their Ray Guns at him.
"Mario's here!"
"We won't let him through!"
"Guard the princesses!"
"It's payback time!"
Mario breathes in and out. "Won't be easy as expected. Princess Peach, I'm coming for you!"
Mario rushes in full speed and takes on the Shroobs. Mario charges through by knocking out Shroobs left and right with his Punches and Kicks. Shroobs attacks back with their Ray Gun, but Mario avoids their incoming attacks by jumping around and knocks out five Shroobs with a strong Punch. Mario then Jumps on each Shroobs head leading him to the entrance, made it pass through the entrance, and closes the door and locking it.
"That should hold them. Now to the top." Mario says, as he continues on.
Mario runs up the stairs and Shroobs appeared and charged right at him. Mario jumps high in the air and throws a lot of Fireballs, taking out all the incoming Shroobs, and made it to the second floor. Shroobs and Guardian Shroobs shoots out a barrage of Lasers together, Mario jumps around avoiding the projectiles, takes out his Super Leaf Cape, and reflects as many lasers coming at him. The lasers reflected knocks out a good amount of the Shroobs that Mario takes the chance to take out the rest of the Shroobs standing with a good Punch and Kick to the head and continues onto the next floor.
"That was pretty easy too. I knew I got this in the bag." Mario says.
Mario arrived at the third floor and was greeted by a horde of Blazing Shroobs are already charging in with a Headbutt. Mario quickly jumps over them, takes out his F.L.U.D.D and sprays them with a blast of water. The Blazing Shroobs try covering themselves with flames but couldn't. Mario takes out his Hammer and quickly takes them out with a couple of swings, knocking out each Shroob in his way and continues on.
"This really is a piece of cake. One more floor and that should be it." Mario says.
Mario arrived at the fourth floor and encounters five Doctor Shroobs. Each Shroob eats Red Mushroom, turns into Giants, and roared loudly. The Doctor Shroobs circled Mario around and all tackle at the same time. Mario jumps over them, making the Doctor Shroobs knock each other down. Mario quickly grabs one of the Doctor Shroobs legs, spins him around like a tornado while knocking out three of the Doctor Shroobs, and throws him at the last one, hitting each other. One Doctor Shroob slowly gets back up, but was taken down quickly as Mario lands a strong Stomp on its head.
"That's the last of it. Not that hard since I had experience with them. Princess Peach, I'm coming to the rescue." Mario says.

After many battles, Mario finally arrived at the top of the Castle. What awaits the Smashers are enemies from the past, Princess Shroob and Elder Princess Shroob. Mario stared with shock as he never thought he would see them again.
"Look who finally showed up, sis." Princess Shroob says.
"It's that red mustache plumber that beaten us from long ago." Elder Princess Shroob says.
"Princess and Elder Princess Shroob… I knew it. Never thought I'll be able to see you two again. How are you guys here? I thought me, my bro, and our younger selves beat you." Mario wonders.
"That is but a secret." Princess Shroob says.
"Let's just say the gods above gave us a second chance in life to destroy you." Elder Princess Shroob says.
"Where's that skinny green bro of yours?" Princess Shroob wonders.
"He's not here. You two will only be fighting me." Mario says.
"Just you? Darn… I also want to take down your brother too." Elder Princess Shroob says.
"Where's the Princess?" Mario asks.
"Peach? She's just right over there?" Princess Shroob points where she's located.
Mario looks towards the size and sees Peach down lying on the ground. "Peach!"
"You can go see her a bit before our battle. We won't attack you." Elder Shroob Princess says.
Mario rushes towards Peach to check up on her. "Peach… I'm here to save you. Wait… what the?" He notices that her face and entire body slowly becoming purple. "What's happening to you?!"
"Mario… don't touch me… I'm contagious… If you do, you'll get poisoned also" Peach warns.
Peach coughs really hardly as Mario stares in shocked. She looks like she's in her last breath, losing strength, and most importantly… dying.
"What did they you do to her?" Mario angrily asks.
"We fed her a special Poison Mushroom made from the ones that revived us. Unlike the Poison Mushroom you know where you eat it you die right away, this one will give you the time to save your Princess." Elder Princess Shroob explains.
"We fed it to her twenty minutes ago so you'll have to beat both of us in ten minutes. When time comes up, say good bye to your pretty Princess Peach." Princess Shroob explains, as the two of them laugh evilly.
Mario looks down at Peach who's slowly breathing as time pass and angrily stares at the two princesses. "I'll beat you two again and Peach will be coming back with me. Got it?!"
The two princesses look at Mario's eyes and felt a chill coming through their spine. These eyes aren't the normal looking ones you see through his adventures, they're the kind where you should never cross the line, especially messing with the person very important to him.
"That stare he looked a lot more serious than last to me we fought. This could be bad…" Elder Princess Shroob says.
"No need to be scared, we've gotten more powerful thanks to our saviors. We can defeat him once and for all. And we can go after his brother afterwards." Shroob Princess says.
"Enough talking, there's not much time yet." Mario angrily says, getting into his fighting stance.
Shroob and Elder Shroob Princes got into their fighting stance and the battle for Peach's Life begins!
