Akira sat back in a virtual chair, thinking of what Yuuki told her about the dream he had.
"What's wrong?" Ames asked.
"I'm worried this Ranpha chick may be trying to tamper with Yuuki's memories. I don't know how she was able to appear in his dreams in a made-up scenario, but it can't be good."
"A made-up scenario."
"Yeah. Kind of like a visual novel's ``what if routes."
"Visual novel?"
"Yeah, I'd figure you wouldn't know what those were, or at least hope you wouldn't." Akira said, getting up from her seat which disappeared as soon as she did to walk over to a screen that showed Yuuki walking back to Landsol with Kayrl after their adventure in the desert.
Akira slowly put her hand on the screen, specifically over Yuuki.
"I need to keep him safe, along with everyone else." she said.
"Well, is there any proof that Ranpha's dream powers can cause Yuuki to lose his memories?" Ames said, cocking her head to the side.
"Well no, but there isn't any proof that Yuuki won't lose them either. I don't want to take any chances and I'm afraid of what will happen to him and everyone else if he loses his bonds with them. He means a lot to not just me, but to everyone trapped in here."
"Well, at least with Kyarl, Yuuki seems to have a tight bond with her. I saw the two sleeping together in an inn."
Akira grabbed Ames by the shoulders tightly.
"Ames."
"Y-yes?"
"Show me the footage…now."
