St. Petersburg Russia

Outside a warehouse

"Remember, Viktor won't want me there when you two make a deal. He knows I have contacts, but he doesn't like me… exposed to his shadier side." Abbey reached for the door handle. "Ready?" She asked.

Gibbs nodded his head and Abbey opened the door and walked into the warehouse. Standing in the middle of the large, empty room were three large looking burley men. The one in the middle stepped forward and embraced Abbey.

"I thought you were never going to get here." He said; the Russian accent thick in his voice.

Abbey stepped back and smiled. "Viktor, I'm ten minutes early."

Viktor looked at his watch and nodded. "Ah, so you are." Finally he looked over at Gibbs. "Aren't you going to introduce me Emma?"

Abbey looked at Gibbs. "Of course I am." She said. "Viktor, this is Charles. Charles, this is Viktor. I believe you will be quite a help to each other."

Then men stared at each other. Surprisingly Gibbs offered a hand first.

"I heard you're looking for some weapons." He said as he shook Viktor's hand.

Viktor laughed deeply. "Straight to the point. I like him." They released hands and stepped back. "Come, let us talk." He gestured to a door that led further into the warehouse.

"Of course." Gibbs said and started walking.

Abbey and Gibbs shared a brief glance, but an entire conversation took place. Her eyes conveyed to him to watch his back. His glance reassured her that it was going to be fine. She watched as they disappeared and she was left alone in the large empty room. Even though they had only know each other for a week she trusted him to get the job done, but with Viktor involved anything could happen.
