Chapter 3- Tommy – Slayer's in the Sky
Day 3
Edge of Sunnydale Hell Hole
"Ease off we're clear." Faith tells Robin.
Robin slowed the yellow bus on the road. Buffy hops down off the bus while Dawn jumps out of the bus. The sisters in brace in a big hug.
"I don't understand. Who did this?" Giles says after he gets out of the bus and looks around the now big hole in the ground behind them.
"Spike." Buffy answers with respect and sorrow.
Almost everyone gets off the bus and are staring at the huge new sink hole.
"Looks like the Hells mouth is closed for business." Faith says as she walks up behind Buffy.
"There is another one in Cleveland, not to spoil the moment." Giles says as they are looking down into the hole.
"We saved the world." Xander says.
"We Change the …Willow says "I can feel them.. All over and not just here. Slayers are awaking everywhere." Willow says as she looks skyward.
"We have to find them." Dawn says.
"We will." Buffy says.
"Did you see if Anya?" Xander asks.
"She's right behind you." Buffy says with a smile.
"Anya!" Xander says as he hugs her tight.
"Xander!" Anya calls out as she runs up to him.
"How." Andrew asks as he had seen her fall.
"I don't know I just know I was told to get up and run by a ten-year old boy. I did and Buffy saw me getting up and we ran …Oh…I am. That hurts." Anna explains as she holds her wound.
"Hey, we need help here." Xander calls out and several of the slayers come over to help.
"Ask and you shall receive!" A voice says that suddenly appears next to him in a bright light.
Buffy puts herself between the new guy and the people who are surrounding them. Xander holds Anya. The girls get ready for a fight. While Andrew squeaks at all the guns.
"Alright ladies and gentlemen my name is Colonel Jack O'Neill US Air Force. We have been sent to help with clean up. We are not here to arrest you we are here to protect you. This here is Doctor Frasier and her team." Jack says as he points to Doctor Frasier.
"Who's injured?" Doctor Fraser asks…
"Anya." Xander calls out to which Doctor Frasier goes up to the young man and starts looking after they woman he was holding while ordering her team to help the others.
"I'm looking for Buffy Summers, Faith Lehame and Xander Harris." Colonel O'Neill calls out.
"Why is the Air Force here wouldn't it be the army?" Xander says as he looks up from the ground where the doctor had him put Anya.
"Normally it would be but special circumstances have brought it under our jurisdiction." Colonel Jack O'Neill answers.
"Like what?" Buffy asks not liking the fact there where so many guns around.
"One of your slayers is the Grand daughter of an Air Force general who is getting informed of everything." Daniel explains while Jack orders the other SG teams.
"Chrissy." Faith says.
"SG teams 6 through 12 a full sweep perimeter of that new hell hole. Nothing gets out if it's not human. Regular communication every 15 minutes. SG teams 15 through 20 I want to secure this perimeter we have incoming." Colonel O'Neill orders while he points in different directions then at the incoming convoy with not so friendly army and NID.
Several military officers run in sections and start making their way around the large sinkhole. While several others set up a perimeter and point their weapons at the oncoming convoy.
The first vehicle stops right in front of Jack and a very angry Colonel Melbourne jumps out.
"Colonel O'Neill what is the meaning of this? You are part of the SG project you do not have jurisdiction here!' Colonel Maybourne says as he stomps over to Colonel O'Neill.
"Colonel Maybourne long time no see but not long enough." Jack sarcastically replies with a big old grin on his face.
"What is the meaning of this? You do not have jurisdiction here? What are you doing here?" angrily demands not liking the smile that's on Jack's face.
"Actually, why are you here?" Jack asks.
"I am here to deal with the ones responsible for destroying an army base." Maybourne says as he looks directly at Buffy Summers.
"Ahhh yes, the NID Base that had equipment that it shouldn't have had as… Buffy and Xander I believe both of you were in the Base?"
"Yes." Both responded not sure what was going on.
"Did you see any large round devices with strange symbols on it?" Jack asks.
"Yes.." Both respond.
"Well, let's see General Hammond Granddaughter Chrissy is part of this group and has escaped through said device. Which is right now back in the hands it belongs to." Jack says as he glances up word to emphasize the point than continues. "That makes it our jurisdiction and you might wanna answer that phone call that you're about to receive." Jack informs him.
"That girl right there is coming with us she is a wanted fugitive." Colonel Melbourne says is he points at faith who freezes at his accusation.
"Oh, Faith would you please come here?" A very cheerful Colonel O'Neill waves her over to him. "I take it you are Faith Lehame?"
"Yeah." Faith cautiously answers but for some reason feels like O'Neill isn't going to harm her.
"I have it on very excellent authority that you have a presidential pardon that is good for anything you do up until tomorrow we only ask that you don't kill anybody." Jack says as glances over at Melbourne from Faith with a look that says "Go for it kid." than back to Malbourne.
"No shit?" Faith asks him.
"No shit." Jack verifies.
"I demand to know how this girl got a presidential pardon so quickly." Melbourne sneers.
"Saving the world will do that for you." Daniel deadpans.
"Danny stop stealing my lines." Jack reprimands
"Sorry." Daniel says with no ounce of real apology in his voice all the while Cater is smiling.
"Sir it's for you." A young Lieutenant says as he runs up to Colonel Melbourne.
"This better be good." Melbourne demands.
"It's the president Sir and he wants me to put it on speaker for everyone to hear." The Lieutenant informs everyone.
"He is the commander in chief he has that authority I suggest you do it." Jack says nonchalantly.
"Melbourne are you there?" The very recognizable distinguish voice of the president of the United States of America could be heard over the phone as the speaker was activated.
"Yes Sir." Melbourne says as he snaps to attention along with every other officer there.
"I understand Colonel O'Neill and his SG teams are there securing the area. They also have a medical team there helping those survivors and the slayers. Colonel O'Neill and his teams are in charge because you brought an SG to an active Hells mouth, we will have a serious discussion about your retirement." The president of United States firmly orders then softly asks. "Buffy Summers are you there?"
"Yes Sir." Buffy squeaks
"It seems I have no the world has you and your slayers to thank for still being here. But something amazing has happened on a larger scale than what you may realize once you and your slayers those who wish to participate have signed non-disclosure forms we will inform you of what has happened and trust me you will want to know and for those that just want to live normal lives no one in the military will bother them you guys will be considered a national security and that will mean hands off all slayers unless they commit an act of treason or murder do I make myself clear." The president informs them.
"You know about us?" Buffy asks in disbelief.
"I know more than you think, and your world is about to get a lot bigger if you agree to work with Colonel O'Neill and his teams but I recommend that you hold on one moment…. Are you sure I will tell them Colonel O'Neill a situation has arisen."
"What is it Sir?" Jack immediately pays attention.
"One of our allies has had to take general Hammond and his wife and grandson to his ship something has happened they are asking, or I should say general Hammond's wife is demanding that the witch is brought there immediately to help her grandson."
"Yes sir."
"Sir we have several severely wounded individuals here and it would be best if our allies could help them." Doctor Frazier says as she comes running up.
"I do believe he will be more than willing as he has many questions for them if they are willing."
"Colonel Melbourne you and your teams will work under the current SG teams that are stationed at what is left of Sunnydale to make sure none of those creatures' surface. While Colonel O'Neill and his team will be immediately evacuated by our ally."
"Sir you understand that Faith Lehane is supposed to be in prison right now." Mayborne tries to get Faith one time. But he is cracked in the face by said woman's fist.
"Pardon covers that right?" Faith asks.
"Yup." Jack answers with a big old grin on his face.
"Yes, you do young lady." The president answers over the phone just as the group was suddenly engulfed and Jack giving Mayborne a little way goodbye, in a bright light than was immediately gone.
"I hate him." Mayborne says through a busted jaw while he stares at the place where jack had disappeared from.
Aboard Thors Ship.
"What?" Buffy asks.
"Where?" Will stammers.
"I second that." Dawn says.
"Ladies and Gentlemen I am General Hammond and I sure all your questions will be answered but right now I need to know which one of you is the Witch that activated all the slayers?" General George Hamond says.
"Why?" Buffy demands.
"Because we need her help." Hammond says honestly.
"What kind of help?" Buffy asks.
"Oh George! Celia cries out. "He's not getting any better."
"Please it's my grandson." Hammond voices breaks just a little as he tries to control his frustration and worry.
"What happened to him?" Willow asks at seeing a little boy inside a glass tube like bed.
"The young man was telling exactly what was happening when you were fighting those creatures when he was suddenly lifted off the ground and thrown across the room." Thor explains. "I have done what I can for his physical body, but his energy is off, and I am unable to correct."
"OH, my goddess you are an Alien." Willow babbles.
"No, I am Thor supreme commander."
"He's a Rosewell grey alien." Andrew butts in.
"Enough with my friend Thor my grandson needs your help." Celia tells the children in a tone of voice that cause them all to step back away from Thor and look at their feet.
"Okay so let me see what I can do but I should warn you I am very weak I am not sure I can do much." Willow babbles and goes over to the boy with Giles and Andrew.
"Where are the rest of my friends. Buffy asks as she looks around as she didn't see Anya or Xander.
"I have transported the injured and the medical staff to the medical ward of this ship so that they could be tended to by the best equipment. I see to that you are injured. If you lie down on that bed, I can have you heal." Thor informs them.
"Buffy he is right you are bleeding." Dawn says.
"Is it safe?" Buffy asks looking over at the young boy in the other one.
"Yes." Thor answers.
"You are not going to probe me?" Buffy asks.
"Thor doesn't do that." Jack answers.
"I got your back Buffy." Faith tells her.
"Thanks Faith." Buffy says as she lies down in the bed.
"Okay the tube is going to close over you for a few moments while it heals you." Carter explains. "You don't need to worry once you are healed it will open."
"Okay." Buffy answers.
"Oh boy is his energy out of whack." Willow explains.
"Do you know why? Celia asks.
"When Spike blew up the Hell's mouth, I think I felt the first send out a big energy burst. It was kind of like a wild last punch." Willow explains. "I need family members that is almost the same energy level as him."
"We are his grandparents." Celia says.
"I need closer like a mom, dad, or a sibling would be the best." Giles tells them.
"His sister Chrissy…is out of reach at the moment. What about a half sister." Hammond says as he glances out to the stars.
"That may work."
"You are Faith, right?" Celia asks.
"Yeah, but I…"
"You are his half-sister. Will you please help him."
"Wait... What? I have a little brother?"
"Yes. Please help him." Celia begs.
Faith looks at the unconscious shaking kid and asks. "What do you need red?"
"Well as I am so far away from Earth it's hard to tap the energy I need."
"Where on Earth would you like to be?" Thor asks.
"The Stone Henge is one of the strongest converges of magic energy there is." Giles tells them.
"Thor do you mind?" General Hammond says.
"I will transport Celia, the witch, your grandson and his sister, and the two men or she can help." Thor says as he points at Dawn.
"I don't know what you mean?" Dawn stammers.
"Your energy level is off the chart as you humans say." Thor says.
"Dawnie it won't hurt in fact it may be better than transporting him." Willow tells her.
"Okay but I am not a freak."
"Actually, you are not a freak you are unique." Thor states.
"Thanks."
"Alright this is what we need to do . You here. Touch his head and hold his hand and whatever happens don't let go." Willow points to George than points to Celia. "You do the same on this side. Faith, I need you to be the anchor hold his feet. Dawnie you need to be at his head. Buffy we are going to need you here next to Dawn. Giles between Faith and Celia. Andrew between Faith and the General. Buffy directly across from me between the General and Dawn." Willow points out as everyone does as she says. "Andrew, Giles and Buffy place your hands on the shoulder of the people you are between and be ready and no one let go. This may get a little painful. But no one touch us until we are done."
At first nothing happens until willows hair and eyes go white. Thor's ship lights up. Multitude of colors past through it each one of persons surrounding Tommy.
"The energy level is off my ability to scan." Thor says.
"How is that possible." Carter asks.
"Are they alright?" Jack asks not likely the painful expressions going across every one of their faces.
"The one called Willow said that may get painful." Teal'c says.
It was at that moment that the Doctor Frazier walks in with Xander and Anya in tow.
"What is going on?" The Doctor asks.
"Tommy's energy levels were out of sync, and they are trying to put them back. I think." Carter tells her.
"That's the kid who saved me. He yelled at me to get up and run after I had been stabbed. I should have died but he said it wasn't my time and that I had to run and live." Anya tells them.
"How. He never left the base." Carter asks.
"I know he was there. I spoke with him. He said he was keeping an eye on things." Anya told them.
"How could you have seen him."
"I don't know how much more they can take." Jack says as he was about to pull them apart.
"Don't touch them you will make it worse." Anya snaps then explains. "Willow is trying to level him. The first sent out an evil wave to hurt those he could. I am not a demon anymore I felt it but it couldn't hurt me. Willow was protected by her spell and being link with the slayers. He must have not been protected and got hit the worst." Anya tries to explain.
"You were a demon?" Jack asks.
"But she helps to save the world now." Xander puts in.
"Yeah, you got a problem with that?" Anya glares at him.
"Not that I can think of." Jack response with a shrug.
"Good because I may not be a demon now, but I can still do a curse or two." Anya warns.
"Anya let's not piss off the guy with the gun." Xander tells her.
"Okay." Anya happily says.
"What kind of curses would you do?" Thor asks.
"Thor?" Jack hisses.
It was at that moment there was a bright flash of Purple light and everyone who was tending to Tommy passed out onto the floor.
"What was that?"
"Chrissy…mommy… Oh man do I have a headache." Tommy moans from the bed.
All the humans run over to check on the each one of those that fell while Thor moved a few crystals on his control panel and opens the tube that held Tommy and scanned those that fell.
"They are resting." Thor simply said.
"That was one hell of a power shot there." Jack remarks.
"That wasn't from us." Willow says as she wakes up.
"Then from who? If everyone is okay, I don't care." Xander says he as helps up Faith.
"Is everyone okay?" Daniel asks.
"Yeah, I am good." Andrew says.
"Same here." Giles answers.
"Oh boy and I thought Penny could do a Whammy." Celia remarks. " I am good."
"I am good, but I don't want to ever have to do that again." George tells them as Jack helps him up.
"I am good. Dawn?" Buffy asks.
"I am great actually. Buffy I feel my power its strange but oh wow.." Dawn says as she gives off a green light.
"Are you sure?" Buffy worriedly asks.
"She can now tap her power when she wants but she's going to need a lot of practice." Tommy says as his stomach growls loudly.
"What about you son?" George asks.
"I am good too. The pretty lady was right when she said I wasn't protected when I got hit with that wave of evil. Would you show me how to control my powers?" Tommy asks Anya.
"I don't know."
"Actually, it would be best if you did teach me and her. There is a huge war coming and we all need to work together to stop this evil that is coming. You Willow the Red Witch will need to help find all the Slayers on Earth and beyond. Buffy you will have to help train them. Faith, you have the biggest challenge ahead of you." Tommy says.
"What?" She asks.
"Being a big sister." Tommy says. "Think you can handle it?"
"Looks like I don't have a choice." Faith says as she ruffles Tommy's hair causing him to smile.
"Thor. Will you also help find the slayers?" Tommy asks.
"That would be a great honor but right now my." Thor start to say.
"Don't worry about those robot things. With my grandfather's permission and Dawn's help and I can go fry them. She fries them and I locate them that way they can't hide and adapt." Tommy says.
"I think you are a bit young." Hammond goes to say.
"Hey, I watch little T's back." Faith tells him.
"Grandpa we have to or else they evil that is coming will use them to destroy us." Tommy explains.
"Alright that is enough of battle talk your stomach is demanding food." Celia orders.
"Yes Grandma C." Tommy says.
"Thor would you be so kind as to send us back to the base so he can eat?" Celia says. "After everyone has eaten and rested, we may possibly continue the conversations."
Thor transports everyone back to the base with a gentle smile at the old woman.
Gateroom SG
All the humans from his ship arrived in the Gate room in a flash of light.
"Alright I want everyone to Medical ward for checkup." Doctor Frasier says looking around.
"But the little grey guy." Buffy started to say.
"Listen I don't care what kind of strength you wheel I am the doctor here and I will make sure that everyone is 100 percent or else I will call in the big guns." Doctor Frasier warns.
"Like you have anything that could take me." Buffy mutters to which Doctor Frasier just raises an eyebrow then turns to Dawn says. "Your sister needs to be checked out and have a break and that I am going to give her. You up for helping?"
"Buffy please listen to the nice Doctor lady." Dawn turns to Buffy with her best puppy dog eyes.
"Damn she's good." Buffy remarks.
"Don't even start she is just the tip of what I can use. I am not just a Doctor I am a mother." Janet says with a smile.
Everyone headed to the medical ward for a checkup with Hammond giving orders to Walter just before he left.
"Sir the FBI is at the main gate." Walter informs him.
"Tell the FBI person that the doctor has quarantine the base." Janet informs him.
"Now. You see." The general was about to argue when suddenly Celia slaps his chest and says, "You heard her."
"Yes dear."
"Yes ma am." Walter response as he calls the gate to inform them.

I always loved Anya and was pissed when they killed her off, so I thought Tommy and Buffy saving her was perfect. Is it up to par I blame it on that I am sick. remember reviews feed the dragon and the dragon is sick so you better feed it.
