NARUTO: THE GOD OF UNITY

Disclaimer: Don't own Naruto or High School DxD, or anything else mentioned on here, except any OCs.

Hey everyone, finally getting around to getting this chapter started. Life has been crazy as of late, one of them being that I'm getting closer to college graduation this year, so my main focus is to make sure it happens without failure. Although my two biggest headache classes for the fall would be math and science, oh the joy.

For those hoping that a specific girl gets to join the harem, just keep your fingers crossed, even though there is no real guarantee it would happen. At the moment, just want to give the rest of the girls a chance to develop some kind of friendship with Naruto that can develop into something. Trying hard not to make Naruto somebody who can make any girl fall in love with him at first sight.

Still trying to figure out who the last four pawns of his peerages, ones that will not join the peerage. Still open for suggestions.

Hey, question to anybody who has an extensive knowledge of manga themes, but are there any that focuses on a business? Like not one used as a base for heroes, but rather a take into keeping business running while dealing with everyday life, which you would see in some that focuses on a school setting? Examples being a beach resort(which I'm hoping to find by the next chapter), or a restaurant? Even though I'm going to try and mix different series of manga into this story, a good portion of the characters well be nothing more than cameos and guest appearance, nothing more.

On with the story.

{God of Unity}

Namikaze Residence-Night

Minato and Kushina are in Minato's home office, along with Tsunami, Deadpool, Jiraiya, Hiruzen, Tsunade and Orochimaru. Shizune is downstairs watching the kids, with Yamato standing guard. Red is currently at the Toad Realm, explaining to them what just almost happened with Jiraiya and the prophecy.

The only person smiling was Jiraiya, thinking that Minato was able to convince his family into focusing on making the prophecy come true. "So Minato, what do you plan on teaching Shauna first in preparing for the prophecy?" He asked, while rubbing his hands together.

"She well be learning the basics, alongside her stepbrother, and nothing more." Minato said, knocking that smile completely off of his sensei's face, "I am not going to prepare for something that just might change when at least expect it."

"What?! But Minato, we need to train Shauna in order to prepare for . . ." Jiraiya stared to say, only to be interrupted.

"Prepare for what exactly, Jiraiya?" Tsunade intercepted, "A prophecy that can change at a moment's notice? Prepare for a future that isn't certain?"

"Jiraiya, just how many sacrifices are you willing to make just to make sure this prophecy goes the way you want it to?" Orochimaru asked, only to already know the answer. "Scratch that, none of us would want to find out, even you."

"What, you think I would throw Shauna and Kairi aside like yesterday laundry if . . ." Jiraiya started off, only for a disturbing thought to pop into his head.

"Actually we know you well." Hiruzen said, "The one thing you seem to take more seriously than your books, is some prophecy that you are told."

"And to let you know, Red is having a long talk with the toads in order to prevent an encore of this." Tsunami said, "I think the one question he wants to know is if Gamamaru is still waiting for the rest of the prophecy, or if by some chance you misinterpret it somehow."

"What do you mean by misinterpreted?" Jiraiya said, feeling the sting of his pride hitting him.

Minato decided to speak up, "Sensei, everybody knows that whenever you get excited over something, it seems like every other word go into your mind." He said, "Like when I was one of your genin, and whenever we came across the Land of Hot Springs, you would charge in after realizing an event is going on. Only to miss the parts that include say seniors only, resulting in me and my teammates dragging you away after hearing your screams of agony."

Jiraiya's face blanched at the memories, how his desire to do 'research' for his next books overrides his common sense. While he loves bragging about being a super pervert, yet he also knows that he is also blabbing to the world what his chief weakness is. In some cases, his own students aren't afraid to use it against him as payback whenever he helps himself to their pay.

"Besides Sensei," Minato continued, "You developed a bond with the children as if they were your own grandchildren, why would you want to destroy all that for something that could change at a moment's notice?"

Jiraiya looked like he is about to speak up, before Kushina intercepted him, "What I want you to explain is how is breaking our family apart supposed to make us prepare for a prophecy?" She asked, "Or how you would have made it up to Naruto for throwing him aside like yesterday's garbage?"

"Um, well, you see . . ." Jiraiya started to say, although from the look of things, had no real plan thought out when it came to Naruto.

"Please don't say you were planning to 'allow' him to back into the family through bribes of training and all that shit." Deadpool said, intercepting what he knew was coming, "That so called prophecy could take years, even a decade or two to complete, and you actually believe Naruto would keep his sanity that long before you decide he has right to become part of the family again. Guess again fuckface."

While Tsunami was facepalming at how Deadpool ended that statement, she did agree with what he said. "In case you have forgotten, we have an agreement with Minato and Kushina that if they were to let a prophecy to dictate their lives, we well take Naruto away from them, and place him with the next family we believe well raise him right. One of them being the family of his fiancé." She said, "Especially since we believe that if Naruto were to start training on his own, you might try to hold him back if he were to show more promise than Shauna."

"And considering how close she is with Naruto," Kushina started to say, "I'm pretty sure Shauna would be more than willing to leave us to join him sometime after she is legally an adult. Especially if it were to get as far away from that prophecy as possible."

"Also, if Kairi were to develop feelings for Naruto, she would gladly runaway from the family in order to avoid becoming your next target." Minato said, "Destroying the very family you swore to protect, especially Naruto."

Jiraiya looked like he was about to try harder to plead his case, when a loud knock on the door was heard throughout the room. "Come in." Minato said.

The door opened to reveal Red, "Thanks for having me." He said.,

"Anytime, although sensei could learn a few things about manners from you." Minato said, causing most of the room to break out laughing at Jiraiya's expense. "I take it your talk with the toads were productive."

"And then some, especially since Jiraiya was told about the prophecy at least a month ago." Red said, "And apparently, he gave you a very flawed version of it. This is how the prophecy actually went."

After being told the full, true prophecy, "That describes Naruto to the letter." Tsunami said, "Why would he give one that describes Shauna?"

"Because chances are, he made quite a few pitstops on the way back, mainly brothels and hot springs to help further his 'research' for his next book." Orochimaru said, "Considering that he was on the other side of the continent, and that was where he was told about the prophecy, he probably got some pieces twists in the process."

This was when Kushina's eyes shot wide open, before her face became filled with a righteous anger, "Jiraiya, were you by any chance planning to put my daughters into your books sometime in the future?" Kushina asked, voice full of malice.

When a loud gulp was heard loud and clear, "So, Jiraiya," Tsunade said, with a strong hiss, "Were you planning to milk this prophecy in ways that would benefit you the most?"

Seeing his sensei shaking, and knowing what is about to come, "Ladies, as much as I want to see Jiraiya get pounded into oblivion, please make sure to do it as far away from here as possible, especially away from the children." Minato said, not wanting any piece of the mansion to look like a hurricane destroyed a portion of it.

After getting a nod from the two, saying they well hold out, even though their fists are shaking with rage. "Sensei, Kushina and I well not go through with your idea, since after taking a second look at it, it's too incomplete." Minato continued, "Too many things can go wrong, and I well not sacrifice my family for something that has never been set in stone."

Jiraiya looked like he was going to say otherwise, but kept his mouth shut instead. After thinking it over, he knew he missed up in so many ways. One of his biggest mistakes was getting his business and pleasure mixed together, to the point where he never even had a leg to stand on. "Yeah, you have a point Minato." He said, "To be honest, I have no idea why I thought this prophecy was so important."

"Well, now that shits over with," Deadpool said, as he got up to open the window for the balcony, "Now would be a good time to make a run for it while you are still breathing."

"What are you talking about?" Jiraiya said, before being reminded about the doom that is waiting to be unleashed onto him. "Yeah, good idea."

When Jiraiya ran out of the window, both Kushina and Tsunade sizzled down, a small smile on their faces. "We'll just let him lose sleep out of fear of being neutered." Tsunade said.

"Oh yeah, and I don't want to have to explain to the children, especially Naruto, why I came back with a scary look on my face." Kushina said.

"Speaking of, we need to put the kids to bed soon." Minato said, "It is a school night."

"And with tomorrow being a Friday, we also promised to take the kids out for a meal." Kushina said, "And we will be having sushi since it's Koneko's choice."

After that, everybody left to finish up their day.

Konoha-Dusk of the following day

After picking the kids up from school, and dropping their things off at the house, the family are the local sushi restaurant, which was also a teppanyaki one. Where the family sits at table that is attached to a hot iron griddle and get to watch their food be made by the chef right in front of their eyes. While theirs is showing his talent off when it comes to food, like some of the other chefs, seems to enjoy putting on a show.

After getting their food, the family started to talk, "So, with summer vacation coming in a week, is there anything you would like for us to do as a family?" Minato asked.

The kids gave each other a look, before Shauna spoke up, "Dad, every time you say that it means that you already have something planned."

"Yeah, like that time you said something nice to Mom, only for her to ask you something in return." Naruto said.

The only thing that came out of Minato's mouth was "Uh, right." He said, while a small blush appeared on his cheeks, and Kushina was trying to suppress a giggle. While people can acknowledge that he is good at keeping his opponents guessing on the battle field, but when it comes to his family, he is lousy with surprises. He can keep a secret, but his face keeps betraying him.

"Well, it's just that I just received an invite from the Gremory, inviting us to join them at some beach resort for a few weeks." Minato said.

This definitely got their attention. "You mean we get to see Rias again?" Shauna asked, feeling excited. After their first encounter, their families convinced them that they should never treat Naruto as some sort of trophy, and that they should enjoy their childhood as much as possible. Mainly parent talk that is encouraging them to not grow up too fast, while also establishing bonds that can prove valuable overtime.

"Yes indeed." Minato said, "Starting tomorrow is when we need to start preparing."

"When is it?" Naruto asked.

"At the start of next month." Kushina answered, "Which is in about two weeks. Most of the things would be setup by the Gremory, we just need to spend the time preparing for it."

The kids cheered, just as their food started to be handed out. Once the family started eating, none of them realized that life is about to throw them a massive sucker punch.

Here is the latest chapter, sorry for it not being much, been recovering from a burn out after completing three senior-level English classes for college. Read and Review, and have a safe Memorial Day.
