A crow cawed before flying off, a feather somehow falling off and floating down towards a bridge. Under it, a blur appeared before stopping, revealing Nike and Ben. He got off as Nike collapsed to the ground. "You ok, Gwen?" Ben asked, stepping towards her.

"I'll be fine, just tired," Nike breathed before the symbol flashed and she timed out.

"I'll try to find something for us to eat, you stay here," Ben said. Gwen gave a thumbs up. Ben started off, activating his watch. He turned clockwise three times and stopped at the hologram of Dracula. He pressed down and in a flash, Ben was replaced with Dracula. He took off into the air.

Dracula looked around with his magenta eyes before falling upon an alleyway that had lots of boxes stacked near a door. He flew down and landed next to them. The vampire-like looked around, seeing the door was slightly opened.

Dracula leaned down to a tumbled box and looked at its side. It had an image of an apple and grapes. He dragged a finger through the edge of the box before lifting up the side and looking inside. A grin went across his face. A box of apples was better than nothing.

Dracula picked it up before noticing a person staring at him in shock. Quickly, he stared into the person's eyes and his own became hypnotic. The person's eyes followed, rings forming in their eyes. "Forget you ever saw me, alright?" Dracula smiled. The person stiffly nodded.

He lowered the box and grabbed it with his feet before flying into the air. Dracula flew back to where he left Gwen, silent.

When he came back, he saw that Gwen was curled up and asleep. Dracula placed the box next to her before attempting to return to the sky. However, he stopped when he saw a group of what seemed like lower twenties looking at them. Dracula looked at the shadows they were hiding at and hissed. He heard some snickers, but the group didn't leave.

He realized how hungry he felt and his vision turned to that of showing glowing magenta throughout the gang's bodies. Dracula began to drool slightly at the untouched food in front of him, but the gang didn't seem to notice.

The gang decided to get closer to him, allowing him to see the flow of their life force better. It kept reminding him of his hunger and he felt Dracula's mind urge to drain them. "I'll give you a warning. Leave," Dracula said, glaring at them.

The gang laughed. The tallest and buffest of them, assuming their leader, stepped forward while saying, "Or what? You'll run off?"

"Not my fault, then," Dracula grinned. He let the urge take control and he lunged at the leader. He bit his shoulder, causing the leader to cry out. Dracula could feel the energy be drained out of the gang leader and into him. The other gang members hit him with wooden poles or steel beams, but he didn't feel it.

He let go of the leader, blood on his fangs and satisfied with his meal. Dracula released a content sigh before backing up a bit. The other gang members began to chirp something in another language- kinda sounded like Italian- at their leader, who backed away from him. The leader said something in the same language before the group scattered.

"That was cool."

He turned around, seeing a kid at the other edge of the bridge, leaning against the wall. The kid had black hair, brown eyes, and pale peach skin and wore a black shirt, ripped jeans, black shoes, and a silver necklace. Dracula squinted his eyes at him before walking over to be by Gwen.

"Who are you and why are you here?" Dracula hissed.

The kid smiled before replying, "Outcasts gotta stick together, right? You two definitely seem like some."

Dracula stared at him. "Why should we trust you?"

The boy lifted a hand and lightning crackled around it. Dracula stared at the lightning as it dashed around. "Woah…" he muttered. "You're like us… kids with powers…"

"See?" the boy smiled. "Name's Kevin."

The symbol decided to flash right then and there. In a green flash, he returned to normal. Ben looked at Kevin, who was staring at him, before replying, "That form was Dracula, but my name is Ben. That's my cousin Gwen."

"Let's head over to my place, it'll be better than this stupid bridge," Kevin said.

He lifted up the watch, saying, "Gotta wait until it recharges itself."

"That's kinda dumb," Kevin stated, coming over to him.

"Yup," Ben scoffed. Kevin touched the watch before releasing a bolt of electricity. The energy caused the green to flicker back to red. "H- That was amazing!"

Kevin smiled. "No problem. Got a form that can carry her?"

Ben activated the watch before turning the dial three times counterclockwise. It stopped at a hologram of a lizard. He pressed down and in a flash of red, he transformed into a white lizard with a pinkish beak and reddish brown and red markings on it. "Bugcatcher!" he screeched.

Kevin looked at the lizard before saying, "That's pretty cool." He went over to Gwen and picked her up, stopping briefly to grab the box before getting onto Bugcatcher's back.

"Where are we heading?" Bugcatcher asked, moving his head to look at Kevin.

"There's an abandoned building not far from here," Kevin answered, settling between two of the lizard's back spines.

"Alright. Tell me when we get there," Bugcatcher nodded. The lizard began to walk off.

Gwen yawned before stretching herself out a bit. She heard some sort of whistle, then a shocked chirped. She opened her eyes and looked around. The first thing she noticed was the change in location. They seemed to be in the middle of an abandoned building with stacked boxes being used as makeshift barriers. The second thing she noticed was Ben holding a box of sorts and smirking at a dark haired boy around their age.

"What was that for?!" the boy chirped.

"We both know why," Ben answered, a smirk still drawn on his face. The other boy looked away. Ben seemed to notice her and said, "Hey Gwen. This is Kevin, he has powers like us."

Kevin looked at her, then his eyes started dashing between her and Ben. Gwen nodded before standing up. Ben reached into the box, took out an apple, and tossed it at her. She caught the apple and looked over it before deciding to eat it.

"So…" Gwen started after she chewed on a bite. "Where are we?"

"Welcome to what regular people call New York City's only abandoned building, but outcasts like us call it the Hub," Kevin explained. "Whole underground society in this place, you just gotta know where to look."

"We brought you here when you were sleeping since this place is a better hiding place than a random bridge," Ben added.

Gwen nodded before looking at Kevin. "You have powers like us, right? What are they?"

Once again, Kevin lifted a hand and electricity jumped from it. "I'm like a battery. Can charge up from things that use electricity, then I use it up when I attack and stuff," Kevin said. He made the electricity disappear before saying, "Benji here said that both of you transform into stuff, he already showed me his forms. That's pretty cool."

"Uh… thanks," Gwen replied, pushing herself up to her feet. "Do people normally come here?"

"Runaways and gangs, yes. Normal people, no," Kevin answered.

"Hey Kevin, didn't you say that people normally hired you to do jobs involving electricity since you're immune to that?" Ben asked.

"Now that you mention it, some gangs would definitely pay to have one of you help them. Your forms would hide who you are and you'll get paid for it," Kevin added.

"And what, get involved with crime?" Gwen hissed. "What will our parents think?"

"They ignore me all the time, so I doubt they'll care," Ben answered, shrugging. She blinked, her anger fading. "If I have a purpose here, then I'll take it."

"Man, home must suck if you think that way," Kevin chirped, leaning back slightly.

Ben looked towards the ground before he said, "Sometimes, I wonder if they wanted to have me."

Kevin looked at Gwen with a stiff face. She didn't react to Kevin, but did fall quiet. After a few seconds, Gwen said, "I guess having no boundaries in the first place can make decisions easier to make. I've always had boundaries, but…"

"Time to break out, then," Kevin smiled.

"Yea! If Max won't tell us, then I doubt our parents will either!" Ben added. "What is it with Max and secrets anyways?"

Gwen sighed, but had a smile on her face. "I'll try for a bit, but if I don't like it, I'll bail."

"Fine by me," Kevin shrugged. "There's job offers on the higher floors, let's see if we can snag one." Ben nodded, placing down the box, while Gwen looked at her watch before nodding as well.

The boy led them through the building, passing other people and groups, before coming to a set of torn stairs. They went up them, coming to the second floor. The second floor was more organized than the first, though it could have easily been because of the fact it clearly wasn't used as housing. Instead, it seemed more like offices with a board near the stairs. Kevin dragged them over to the board.

"Job board. If someone wants something done, they go to the board, put the request, reward, and meeting location on, then wait at the location," Kevin explained.

"What do you suggest then?" Ben said.

The boy smiled and plucked one of the ones hidden behind a few others. "Been keeping an eye on this one since it came up two days ago. Train raid. How about that?"

Ben, Gwen, and Kevin went to a building a few buildings down from the train area, coming up to the door. The boy knocked on it and a few seconds later, a slide on the door opened up. Kevin held up the paper, showing it to the person.

"One sec," a voice said, then the slide thing shut.

A long minute passed, but the door opened. Kevin went in, followed by the two cousins. The person who opened the door wore a mask that resembled a fox, closing the door once they entered. A second person, one wearing a wolf mask, motioned for them to follow and started off. The trio did so, the fox masked one walking behind them after locking the door.

They came to a room with many other people, the other masked people looking at them when they answered. The wolf masked one said, "These are the ones that accepted the job, sir."

The one with a dragon mask stood and said, "Is that so?" The wolf-masked nodded. Dragon-mask looked at the three before asking, "And what can these children do?"

In response, Kevin repeated what he showed to Ben and Gwen, causing some of the others to begin muttering.

The dragon-mask seemingly smiled. "And the other two?"

Ben activated his watch, glancing slightly at Gwen. She breathed before doing the same. More muttering spawned as the light filled the area and the duo looked at the watches. The silhouette was that of a four armed humanoid while the hologram was of Dracula. They pressed down, transforming into them respectively.

"Dracula!" Dracula proclaimed, spreading his arms out slightly.

"Alke!" the four armed creature added.

More muttering spawned as Dracula, Alke, and Kevin looked at dragon-mask. Dragon-mask seemed to smile even more than it already was. Dragon-mask then said, "You show promise. And how about a deal? You'll not only get the original price, but if you stick around with us, we'll help you three in terms of your powers and keeping you alive."

Dracula and Alke looked at Kevin, who was at first surprised but then gave a venomous smirk. Dracula matched that smile, but Alke gave no outright reaction. "I'm in," Kevin said. Dracula nodded in agreement, causing Alke to do the same.

Dragon-mask walked towards them. "I am Dragua and welcome to the Dragoon."

The three of them, along with eagle-mask and elephant-mask, stood at the top of a tunnel that had train tracks going through. Dragua had them put on their own masks, Kevin's being a crow, Gwen's a cobra, and Ben's a rat. Apparently, the masks were some sort of weird tech that also gave them different clothes that somewhat resembled the animal the mask looked like while also making them seem older than they really wore. The crow mask gave Kevin a black, feathery cloak that had arm sleeves and navy blue clothes underneath. The cobra mask gave her a scaly bodysuit with blue cloth around her chest and waist. The rat mask gave Ben an outfit that looked like it was made with rat fur with a scarf that kinda looked like a rat tail.

Eagle-mask stood up, a brown feathery cape flowing behind them. "I see it. Cobra, Rat, prepare your monstrous forms. Elephant, Crow, be prepared to destroy the locomotive," eagle-mask said.

"Got it, Eagle-mask," Kevin, crow-mask, nodded.

Ben, rat-mask, and Gwen, cobra-mask, each activated their watches and turned the dial before stopping at a certain one. The silhouette was of a humanoid fish-like creature while the hologram was of a wispy lizard with an odd tail end. Elephant-mask leaned forward, moving their legs to be better able to leap. "Waiting for your signal, Eagle-mask," Ben stated.

Eagle-mask lifted a gloved hand. Ben and Gwen moved their hand to be ready to press down on their respective dials. They saw the light and smoke coming from the oncoming train. They waited until Eagle-mask swung his hand down and the two pressed down on the dials. In flashes, they were replaced.

In Gwen's place was a pale purple skinned humanoid fish with a lantern fish lure and many, many teeth. "Tiamat!" she screeched.

In Ben's place was a near black dragonish wisp with a bell at the end of its tail, along with hyper sharp claws and smoke pouring out of its mouth. "Belltail!" he hissed.

A loud whistle came from the train. Eagle-mask growled before saying, "Let's get this over with. Crow, Elephant, go on."

Elephant didn't get to move before Kevin launched a large bolt towards the locomotive. The bolt crashed into it, then a few seconds later a screeching was heard. Elephant scoffed before saying, "Dang, Crow, that's pretty cool. Don't know if anyone else could do something like that."

"Three kids with insane powers team up with an apparently well known gang. What else is going to be surprising?" Belltail hissed in a harsh yet wispy voice.

Elephant laughed. Eagle sighed.

"Stop the train, get the goods," Eagle reminded.

"Alright, alright, you don't need to be a mother hen about it," Elephant replied. The train had slowed down considerably, but had gotten much closer to them. Elephant backed up slightly before running forward and jumping off, managing to land on the train just before it stopped completely. Tiamat coughed, almost like she was being suffocated. Kevin grabbed a water bottle from his cloak and handed it to Tiamat, who quickly grabbed it and dumped the contents on herself.

"Which carts do we open?" Belltail asked, floating forward a bit.

"We're looking for five brands: Goddess Jewelry, Mythos Artifacts, Vessel Mediences, New Jersey-York Bank, and Unprise Weapons," Eagle answered. Belltail nodded before floating off. Eagle took out a device and said into it, "Train's stopped. Elephant is taking care of the conductors and Rat is looking for the selected carts. Ready for the others."

Before long, other members of the Dragoon had arrived, along with empty trucks. Belltail pointed out the ones he found so far while Kevin sat near Tiamat, who took a deep 'breath' each time water was splashed onto her.

When Eagle reported to Dragua, the dragon-mask had to say he was more proud of the kids than he would admit.

Dragua stood there with the trio just behind him. The three had their masks off, but they still held them in their hands. The rest of the Dragoon sat in front of Dragua, silently waiting. Dragua, after a bit, yelled out, "The Dragoon! I am sure you are well aware of the two changelings and the mutant we have teamed up with! Well, they have decided to stay with us! Dragoons, welcome to our horde the Wyrmlings: Rat, Cobra, and Crow!"

The Dragoons cheered as Dragua stepped to the side to let the crowd see them. Kevin's smile held venom, Gwen's felt forced, and Ben kept his focus on Dragua. The man nodded and Ben put on his mask, the other two noticing and following.

The Wyrmlings of the Dragoons. That was a name.

Ushindi: Heh, not for long! *looks at what just happened* Anyways, thanks for reviewing. To answer your questions, my favorite design of Ben would be OS and my favorite aliens are Juryrigg, Grey Matter, and Ghostfreak (though I do love all of the Galactic Monster aliens).
