In the middle of the night, on the cruise..
Melody was crying. She had made a friend..and then she had lost him. Now, there was a small thought bubbling up in her head. A small, tiny, thought bubble that maybe..just maybe..She needed to focus on stuff other than spying.
"But I only know being an agent and a detective.." sighed Melody. She slumped up from her bed, and went over to Kevin's room on the cruise.
Kevin said, "Go away." But Melody didn't give up. She knocked on Kevin's door again, and each time she got the same response. Melody was at rock bottom now, and she felt something she had never felt before..
Pure sadness.
"What have I done with my life?" Melody wailed as she sat on the balcony. She looked down to the ground, and her tears just piled up again.
But she couldn't let herself cry herself to death. She had a mission. And she needed to unearth the conspiracy of making a new Melody.
Meanwhile, at the girls' Walrus cabin, Brynn was sitting by her bed, practising her vocals.
"I wonder what next challenge will beeee!" she sang.
Faith groaned. "I hope it's a challenge where Glenn can stay the hell away from me."
Brynn added, "I hope it's a challenge where the Walruses AND the Iguanas work closely together? So we can…talk?"
"Don't get your hopes up. Boys are STUPID," Faith said to Brynn. "He's more into being annoying than being with you."
As Faith and Brynn continued to squabble, Tyson and Winnie were walking together in the forest.
"I see why you're bad at pageants," laughed Tyson, making Winnie giggle.
Winnie replied, "It's funny. You win at everything, and I lose at everything.."
"Why would you say that?" asked Tyson.
"Because I SUCK at pageants, like you said!" Winnie exclaimed.
Tyson added, "You suck at pageants, but your a good farmer, a good biologist, a good everything that isn't winning related!"
Winnie blushed. "I guess you're right, Tyson."
Tyson smiled, then took a deep breath. He leaned into Winnie, and gave her a kiss.
When the kiss was over, Winnie's face was red, and Tyson had ran away.
"Wow," mumbled Winnie.
When Winnie ran back, Wesley ran to the confessional.
"You're such a PERVERT, wesley! You're so STUPID, wesley!" Wesley mocked as he fiddled around with some wires. "Well now WESLEY is gonna control the game. SUCK ON THAT, LOSERS!" he cackled, finding one confessional from every remaining contestant. "I guess it's time to fry some Pixie Stix."
At The Mess Hall
Kevin and Melody had just arrived back. As the group walked in, they noticed that the mess hall looked a LOT like a ballroom.
"HELLO COMPETITORS!" Raina said. "This challenge is called Ballroom Matchup! Here, everyone will get a little card. Your goal is, to take everyone elses cards, wether by asking or by stealing. But there's a twist! As soon as everyone has their cards, the cards have POWER. Let me explain ALL The cards."
If you take a RED CARD: You have the card, simple as that.
If you take a BLACK CARD: You must give the person you stole the card to ALL OF YOUR CARDS.
If you take a WHITE CARD: You get to take the person you stole the card from ALL OF THEIR CARDS.
"If you lose your card, you're out. If someone GIVES you cards back, you don't deal with the card meanings. Last person standing wins for their team! Winning team gets immunity, the winning player gets a spa treatment."
As the ball began, people got right to work. Wesley snuck over to Gage, one of the bigger threats. Wesley grabbed Gage's card out of his pocket, and looked at the colour. It was black.
Wesley groaned, and gave Gage his black card. Gage stuffed the card in his pocket as well.
Meanwhile, Avia had to get stealing. She had a red card, and it only would take one person to find her card to be eliminated. Her plan was to get black cards, and then if anyone tried to steal her black cards…boom. Avia snuck behind a pillar, seeing Debbie walking around, anxiously.
"Boom. Black Card holder," mumbled Avia, with a smirk on her face. She ran over to Debbie, where she saw the card peeking right out of her shirt. It was red. Still, she wanted it.
*Debbie: Debbie smiled. "If I put it in my shirt, nobody will try to steal it! Unless they are a pervert. The only pervert I know is Wesley, and he's eliminated."*
Avia sighed. She knew she had to break a couple rules to get her card. She ran up to Debbie, and pulled the card right out of her shirt. Debbie seemed a bit startled.
*Debbie: "Of course, girls don't have to worry!"*
Alexander cheered in his head. He had just stolen a white card from Trenton, without him even noticing. He thought that the white card had the same meaning as Black, with Black being the meaning of white. Sure, Alexander was cunning, but everyone makes mistakes!
Meanwhile, Glenn was glancing over at Faith every two moments, or so.
Stop staring at me, creep! Faith mouthed to Glenn. Glenn didn't see, of course, and smiled at her.
"What do you want- a dance?" Faith said, when she walked up to him.
Glenn's face went shocked, then charismatic. "Sure, come on over." Faith sighed as she walked over to Glenn, then started dancing.
Faith hated to admit it, but she was actually loosening up to Glenn as they both danced. Faith couldn't help herself, but she saw herself leaning over…bending down, and snatching Glenn's card right out of his shoe!
"Dang it!" Glenn said angrily as he stormed out of the ballroom to pout with Wesley and Debbie and Trenton.
During this, Winnie was scared. She saw a white card peeking right out of Alexander's pocket. Alexander looked over, and smirked as he saw Winnie approaching. Winnie went over, and grabbed the white card.
"Uh, alex..can I have all your cards?" Winnie asked.
Alexander looked at her, confused. "No, I have all YOUR cards. Its a white."
Winnie said, "That's a black card. You mixed them all up. Now hand them over." Alexander handed over his cards, then walked out of the room.
Sydney was ready to strike. She had a black card, nothing to lose. She had to take a red card, then a white card. She had some sort of strategy she had planned out.
She looked around, to see if there were any red cards she could steal easily. All she saw were Faith and Avia. Faith was too smart, and Avia was..well…Sydney pushed Avia out of her head. She had a black card, so she could go for Faith easily!
Sydney walked over to the side of Faith, and then behind her. Sydney noticed a time where she seemed spaced out. Sydney ran towards Faith, and snatched one of her red cards.
"What the hell?" Faith asked, turning back around towards the blonde. Faith snatched her card, not even noticing the colour. She looked at it, and her face turned pale. Faith tried to take deep breaths, but even that couldn't keep her anger in. A strand peeked out of her otherwise perfect bun. She aggressively gave her cards to Sydney, then walked away, going to the confessional.
*Faith: Faith was screaming. "I'm SICK of being a GOOD LEADER! I'm sick of being the 'second leader'. I'm gonna eliminate Gage, then eliminate all the other IDIOTS on this show! No more Miss Nice Girl."*
After her confessional, Faith peeked through a mess hall window, to spy on some of her teammates and enemies.
Kahil looked over at Brynn, and Brynn blushed back. "So.." he said.
"Soo..wanna dance?" asked Brynn. Kahil shrugged, then stood over with Brynn. The two started to dance. Both felt something strong as they laughed along with the faint music Chef had started to play.
Brynn looked around, to make sure none of her teammates were watching. She leaned over to Kahil, and whispered, "I have a black card. You have a black card. I steal your card, then I give you my black card."
"You'd really do that for me?" asked Kahil. "You know what this would mean for your team…" Brynn nodded, and quickly stole Kahil's card. Then, she gave him both cards. She walked out, and smiled. She looked to the right, and saw Faith, glaring at her.
Brynn asked, "Did you see that? I can explain, I-" She watched as Faith walked back to her dorm, with a smirk on her face.
*Brynn: "Please, please, please let our friendship be enough!"*
As this went on, Melody was tip-toeing over to Kevin. If she couldn't make him forgive her, she could get him out of the game. Melody snatched it, then Kevin looked over to Melody. He said, "Well played."
Tyson, being the only one without someone else's card, thought to himself that he had to be smart. He decided he would steal one of Sydney's red cards. He had practiced running without making noise, so Sydney didn't even notice Tyson approaching. Tyson grabbed one of Sydney's red cards, then snuck off.
Avia was ready to strike again. She knew that Melody had a white card, so she slowly approached the spy. As she snuck behind Melody and stole her white card. Melody looked over at Avia, and sighed. She gave Avia her cards, and walked out.
Gage, however, was watching Avia steal Melody's cards, and had an idea. Gage snuck up to Avia, his smirk growing wider, and wider… He stole a white card, then tapped on Avia's shoulder.
Avia looked over at him, knowing what she saw. She gave Gage her cards then left the ballroom.
*Avia: Avia sighed, before smiling. "Hey, I was able to get a couple peeps. And there's way more Iguanas than Walruses, so I guess victory is ours!"*
Kahil was trying to steal Winnie's cards. He knew Winnie could never beat Gage strategy-wise, so instead he would try and get in that spot instead. After all, he would get more attention.
*Kahil: "What? I mean, you've seen me as a good dude, calm and chill. But have you seen me stealing Glenn's sneakers in the middle of the night, filling them up with-" he would snicker- "Lemonade, and putting them on his head? I'm not perfect, people! Faith's been losing herself, and she's the most perfect little bratty angel here! Uh, I mean, not an angel. I'm into Brynn, not Faith."*
Kahil snuck up to Winnie, determined to get her cards. But right when he was about to grab her white card…
"NOICUSSTEALITHINE!" Sydney screamed, throwing a bag of glitter dust in the air. Kahil started coughing, and Winnie looked over. Kahil, who had stopped coughing, grabbed a card from Sydney..a black one. Kahil gave Sydney his cards, wished her good luck, and went outside.
Winnie ran over, bumping into Tyson. Tyson sighed, and mumbled, "I'm sorry," grabbing Winnie's white card.
"Tyson..how..when I had a chance to win at something..," said Winnie, crying as she gave him her cards. She ran off, leaving Tyson's heart sunk.
Tyson stood at one side, with Sydney and Gage each on a different side- almost like a triangle shape. Tyson looked down, sad. Winning wasn't important…if you didn't have someone to celebrate with. Sydney looked over at Tyson, knowing he wouldn't be able to beat Gage. She had no choice, but to beat Gage. With no magic.
Sydney thought for a moment, before standing there. She quickly ran to a corner, grabbing a marker. She made the top of the card look white, when it was actually black. She put the card in a place where it could very obviously be seen. The fake white part, though; not the real black card.
While Sydney got her card ready, Tyson knew Sydney had herself together. "Just take my cards.." Tyson sighed. He gave his deck to Gage, as the leader diabolically laughed. Just then, Sydney walked out, looking distracted.
"Too easy," mumbled Gage. He walked up to Sydney, and stole the card. He smirked, until he saw it. It was drawn with a marker to look white, and the real card was black. Gage was speechless. Couldn't say anything. Shocked. Any word for shock worked.
Gage said, "No…not now..after all this..time.." he burst into tears, and gave Sydney his cards.
"SYDNEY AND THE IGUANAS WIN!" Raina announced over the loudspeaker. Just then, confetti burst from the ceiling, and all the iguanas ran in, cheering. Sydney ran over to Avia, and gave her a big hug.
"Okay, okay, settle down," laughed Avia. Sydney looked over at Avia, and smiled. She was about to lean in when Ellie ran towards the two.
Ellie squealed, "Sydney, nice work! Didn't know you had that in you!"
"Me neither.." Sydney said, her voice trailing off. She looked over at the Walruses, who clearly had a decision to make.
The Elimination
Raina saw as the group walked in.
"I'm so nervous.." Debbie mumbled, with Kevin nodding.
Raina said, "You've cast your votes and made a decision. I will now say the people who had no votes. Debbie, Gage, Trenton, Wesley." She threw marshmallows at the four.
"What?" asked Kevin, confused.
"Well, we actually had a tie for most votes! Brynn and Melody, both with three. Kevin and Faith, you're safe with one each," Raina explained, throwing a marshmallow at Kevin and Faith.
Brynn asked, "What's the tiebreaker?"
Raina's face turned awkward. "Uh..well..the Alright's did sue us, and we lost privileges for that tiebreaker. That was the only one, so I guess you both are just eliminated."
"WHAT?" Melody and Brynn asked at the same time. "Can I say a goodbye to a member on another team?" Brynn asked.
Raina smiled. "Sure. I know this was a bit of a shock." Immediately, Brynn ran to Kahil's room.
"KAHIL!" Brynn exclaimed, running into the room.
Kahil asked, "What? What happened?"
"I..i got eliminated…and I came to say goodbye," sniffled Brynn, starting to cry. "I wanted to tell you the moments with you were the best ones of my life…and I'll never forget you."
Kahil looked at her, shocked. He put his hand into his pocket, and handed Brynn a paper slip. "Here, my number. Call me anytime. If a girl answers, tell them you're a friend and a friend only," he said, leaning in and kissing Brynn. After the kiss, Brynn said goodbye, and went to the dock of the shame, ready for her trip.
Faith: She voted for Brynn. "Well, well, well. Looks like no romance for Kahil!"
Brynn: She voted for Melody. "I just-she didn't do anything bad on this challenge, but last challenge, and the cooking challenge…she messed up."
Melody: She voted for Kevin. "We may be on good terms, but even the bestest of friends must be betrayed."
Debbie: She voted for Brynn. "I didn't want to vote for Melody, she has potential. And Brynn..I'm sorry..I guess…"
Gage: He voted for Faith. "Game over, Faith!"
Kevin: He voted for Melody. "I don't forget what people say or write."
Trenton: He voted for Brynn. "She's stupid, her ship with Kahil is stupid, and I just wanna eat a whopper."
Wesley: He voted for Melody. "She's just annoying. I won't rig the votes this time, in order to have some fairness."
Bonus SCENE!
Debbie was walking through the woods, when she felt a crunch on her feet. "Huh?" Debbie asked, bending down to check. What she saw, was a black flu mask. "Hm," she said, continuing her walk.
