Chapter:15 Team Exercise 2

Team RABG are back again in their chosen training room as they still wore their proper clothes and they still have their weapons in hand.

"Alright everyone," Blue said to everyone as he brought out a small note pad. "After some weeks, I could tell that we must now focus on fighting with pairs. Since we always fight individually before, we must focus on our teamwork."

"So we decided to rotate who will be partners. It could still be Yellow and I on the first, but I could be partners with Green on the next," Red said as the two girls got the gist of it.

"Along the way, we could get Team RWBY and JNPR to join us, but we are not doing that now till we know that we can function as one individual, a functioning team," Blue said.

"We should start now then," Green said as everyone nods.

"So who partners with who?" Yellow asked the two boys as Blue then brought out a pair of coins.

"We will flip coins, Red and I will be heads and you two are tails," Blue said to them as he showed the coins closer to them. "If it is both heads, then Red and I will be partners and you two will be partners immediately. If it's head and tail then we will go to our respective partners and do rotation over that."

"Well let's start then," Green said eagerly as Blue nods.

The stoic teen then closed his hand containing the two coins, before throwing them into the air. The four watch as the coins sail through the air before coming back down to the ground. The two coins bounce off the floor before bouncing a bit more till the coins bounce in place before going inert as the whole team look at the coins.

"Okay head and tail," Blue said as he then look to the others. "Go to your respective partners then we can begin."

Hang-to-hand Combat

Each pair are now going for some light sparring with one another. As Red fought Yellow, she barely used her hands to fight and have always used her legs. Minus the time after initiation and the times she would do harmless punches when she was either annoyed or embarrassed.

He would soon learn that she uses pressure points and she constantly hits his, which was not that bad because she also using her Semblance when she strikes so it wasn't that painful, but it clearly made him a bit drowsy when she hit the pressure points near his head.

Blue and Green did their own spar as Blue noticed Green was more of a brawler as she carelessly tries to hit her partner, but he easily dodge them. Green was very reliant on her weapon and her partner will make sure that she breaks away from it.

Three-legged Race

The pair were now switched as Red and Green were now partners while Blue and Yellow were partners. Each pair ran around the training room with one of their legs tied to one another.

While Red and Green matched their pace, Blue and Yellow were having a little difficulty because of their difference in pace.

Blue couldn't keep up with Yellow's much faster pace while Yellow was lagging behind because Blue couldn't keep up, the two had to readjust their pace that is much comfortable between them.

Break

The four of them are now taking a break as they enjoyed the snacks that they brought with them.

"After the last one, having this type of breaks are good," Green commented as she has a sandwich in hand along with the others.

Study

They didn't have enough time to continue so the four of them have to attend class with Team RWBY and JNPR, yet they still try to continue their exercise by sharing notes that the others didn't get. They would show their notes, giving proper explanations to their lesson, and help each other with more tasks ahead.

Armed Combat

This would be their last exercise for today and would do their final part of their exercise tomorrow. The four are separated by their genders as the pair of partners trade blows with one another and learning of different holes in their attack and defense.

Since Red and Blue known each other for a long time, the two knew each others moves, they would easily block each other's strikes and counter each other.

Green and Yellow were having a slower progress, Green couldn't keep up with Yellow's mobility while Yellow couldn't bypass Green's defense. The two of them took longer to get use to each other as Green became more quick with her reflexes while Yellow became more aware of the openings from her teammates.

Rest

Night have finally come as Team RABG are now resting up, three of the members are now sleeping while Blue was the only one awake as he was currently making planning the schedule for tomorrow after the current one.

Breakfast

Team RABG are now in the cafeteria as they join their sister teams in that time.

"So Red, how's your exercise coming along?" Ruby asked her fellow leader.

"Doing good, we can't slack off now if the Festival is just close by. How about you two?" Red asked her and Jaune.

"We're doing good, except for the time Nora going excessive," Jaune said as he felt phantom pains when he remembered the eccentric girl going nuts during some of their spars.

"Same with us, we're making good progress," Ruby said with a smile. "I think we're in the same stage as you guys, maybe we could possibly advance tomorrow."

"Ruby don't," Weiss quickly said. "The Festival will not go away that quickly so don't rush it."

"Weiss is right, we shouldn't hurry our training and stop when we think that we reached it when it really isn't," Blue said to Ruby, a serious look on his face. "Gaining strength takes time, practice, and training. There is a reason that by earning them, you can know the value of it. People who doesn't know the idea of it will easily break down if they keep overestimating themselves and suddenly lose when they thought that they are immediately the strongest due to those gifts they have gotten. They will began to doubt themselves or lash out like children."

"That is why we train in our earlier stages in life," Ren said. "So we could understand its true value, I have heard tales from passing Huntsmen and people that either knows some of them or experienced it first hand."

"Yeah! Some of those stories were really funny, but some of them are either sad or annoying," Nora sound happy at first before her tone went to a combination of sadness and annoyance. "The funny ones are just the one's who knows those kinds of people because they make it sound funny, but the rest are just sad because they don't feel it anymore or those people from the bar that didn't become one and just become big jerks."

"Well thanks for the warning," Ruby said in appreciation.

"You're welcome," Red said as he then noticed someone by the door of the cafeteria. "Hey Diantha!"

The others quickly turns to the door and noticed Diantha in her school's uniform with a guy beside her.

He is a young man with black curly hair and bluish eyes. He also wears Haven's school uniform but he also has a brown watch on his left wrist.

"Hey guys," Diantha greeted them as she and the boy with her approached the group. When Red saw the guy beside his sister, he went full on brother mode.

"Diantha, who's this guy?" Red asked with his hands on his waist as Diantha grew nervous from his gaze.

"I think I know where this is going," Yang said as she waited for the incoming drama to start, some quickly realized this but some of them were confused.

"What do you mean?" Ruby asked as Jaune gave her a smile.

"Just watch," He said as they look back to the upcoming exchange.

"Don't freak out okay," Diatha warns her brother as Red just crossed his arms and taps his feet. "Red, this is my partner Augustine, but likes to call himself August, and... he is my teammate."

Red then let out a sigh but she wasn't finished as she looked very hesitant.

"And... he is also my boyfriend."

With those words, Red suddenly went to pounce on the now named August as the young man let out a scream, but Blue and Green managed to hold their leader back.

"Let me go! No sister of mine will get a boy on my watch!" Red roared in anger as Pyrrha and Ren quickly came to help hold the cap wearing teen back.

"Red, we've been dating for 2 years, please don't tear him apart," Diantha pleaded with him as August hid behind her.

"I will rip your throat off!" Red clearly didn't hear her pleas as he just want to break free and charge at the lanky teen who calls himself his sister's boyfriend.

"Uh..." Yellow look at this awkwardly till she look at the clock and quickly got an idea. "Oh look at the time! Our next class is coming up!"

The others, except Red, quickly look at the clock and saw that it was indeed about to be their next class.

"We'll be taking our leave," Yellow said as she let out a nervous chuckle before she quickly join the others with carrying Red out of the cafeteria with the others following behind.

"I'll kill you!" Those were his last words till all of the Beacon students exited the place.

Diantha then let out a sigh as August peak from her shoulder.

"Man, your brother is crazy," He commented.

"That's what makes Red Red," Diantha said as she shook her head but still has a smile on her face.

Study

They are back to studying again as Red calmed down a little, but was still angry from the thought of his sister having a special someone. Blue had to smack Red a few times so his friend could focus on their lessons.

Group Meditation

Red was now completely calm as he and his team are back to their training. The four of them are now meditating in a circle as their Aura covered them.

The amount of Aura they once had now grew a bit larger, they feel confident enough that they could take more hits.

Team RABG now finished their exercise as the entire team now separate themselves by their partners, all of their weapons in hand.

"Ready Yellow?" Red asked his partner.

"Ready," She said as she followed it by a nod.

"Let's start already," Green said impatiently as she taps her feet.

"We're starting. We're starting," Blue said to his partner as he just let out a sigh before looking to everyone. "On "Go" ok?"

Everyone nods as they quickly went for a stance.

"3!"

Everyone tensed their muscles as each group faced each other.

"2!"

They held tightly on their weapons, preparing to strike before they could even know it.

"1!"

Their feet ready to get off the ground, sweat dropping from their face.

"Go!"

Instantly, the two pairs rushed at each other.

Green went first as she placed down her shield and Blue quickly went behind her to fire some shoots at their opponent. Red and Yellow quickly split up as the two tried to make Blue focus on one of them so one of them could strike, Blue chose to aim at Red as he keeps firing and the cap wearing teen keeps running. Yellow went for the offensive as she swung her rod as the metal ball attached to it went for them but Green quickly moved her shield to block Yellow's attack and keeps moving it around when Yellow tries to find an opening. Red quickly used his grapples as he quickly evade more of the incoming bullets and quickly reeled himself towards his opponents as he prepares to hit them with a spinning kick. Green quickly saw this and went to block the attack while Blue focused on Yellow, the young blonde immediately cast her rod before Blue could aim at her and hit Green's shield away so Red could strike them.

Red reeled himself faster when he saw Green's shield getting hit by Yellow's weapon and went to use the opening. Blue had to quickly focus back on Red while Green recovers but Yellow also took this opportunity to strike as well. The two had to split up when their defense when Red and Yellow struck the same place where they once stood. The two followed both Blue and Green respectively, Red heading straight for Blue while Yellow had to move around to find a weak point within Green's defense. The four of them now fight separately as Green and Blue were now in the defensive while Red and Yellow strike them down with continuous attacks.

Blue had to evade each of Red's strikes but he couldn't get an opening as Red was fighting too freely, he had to back away a lot of times but couldn't get a read on Red. Red quickly went for a drop kick but Blue immediately saw this and rolled away before one of the cables hits him. Red stood on his feet, the cables from his weapon lies limping on the ground before he began to spin aroind in one place and the cables are now in the air, following his momentum like a top. Blue focused his eyes on the spinning Red before charging in as his weapon changed to its sword form and thrust it to the human top.

Clang!

Then the sound of metal clashed as Blue's blade clashed with the spinning disaster that is Red as his cables moved in high speed that it keeps Blue's blade out of its designated target. Blue kept his arm forward, intending to break Red's defense while the cap wearing leader kept going, even his cap was blown away by the force that he was generating.

With Green and Yellow, the young blonde kept running around the defending brunette, her eyes looking for an opening around its shield. Green suddenly charge at Yellow as the young girl gasp and quickly tries to outmanuever the brunette so she won't get hit. Green couldn't keep up with Yellow as the young blonde would take a lot of sharp turns that is impossible for a shield wielder like herself.

When Green began to stumble after another sharp turn by Yellow, the brunette began to trip and Yellow charges at her. Yellow withdrew her weapon as she has her hands behind her, preparing to strike with her fingers. When the young blonde was now near her, Green quickly threw her shield at Yellow with all of her strength as Yellow had to jump away from the incoming attack, Green took this chance and rushed at Yellow while her shield got stuck on the wall. Yellow was about to stand up till Green tackled her to the ground and grabbed puts Yellow's arm behind the young blonde's back. Yellow tries break free from the hold but Green keeps herself strong.

Back with Red and Blue, the two were still in a stalemate as brown haired teen starts to feel his arm getting tired, he then also noticed that Red had activated his Semblance which makes it more impossible, he began to look around for anything that could help him in this situation and saw Green's shield embedded on the wall. Blue immediately disengaged his attack and quickly ran for the shield while Red was just behind him. Blue ran as fast as he could but Red was just a few meters behind him, he had to jump away from the spinning teen as Red just pass him. Blue then ran for the shield as Red quickly turns and heads straight for Blue. The brown haired teen then reached the shield as he tries to pull it out but found out it was embedded deep into the wall, he tries his best to pull it out but noticed that Red was coming for him. He quickly looked at the part of the wall where the shield pierced it and quickly used his weapon to wedge it out. Red slowly comes closer as Blue finally dislodged the shield and grabbed it, Red was just a few inches in front of him till he threw Green's shield at Red's feet. The cap wearing teen unknowingly step on the shield and the back side of it made him struggle to keep up his balance and Blue took this opportunity to rush at his friend when the cables now lay on the ground helplessly. Blue kicked the shield which made Red trip which also send it to both Green and Yellow. Green immediately saw this as Yellow tried harder to escape but the brunette quickly pushes herself away as the shield now heads right at Yellow.

Yellow blinks at the sudden dismount till the shield slams at her and she went flying to a wall, Green quickly stood as she grabbed her shield and quickly joins Blue with fighting off a now defending Red. Red has his arms up as Blue keep striking him with his sword, Red's gauntlets and Aura is protecting and handles the attacks greatly, but he was slowly getting forced to a corner and Green was coming for him. The two then gang up on Red as he was now forced in the corner and the two continously hit him with their blades. His Aura slowly come out of his body like flames as he look above his arms as his opponent keeps hitting him.

Noticing this, Green activated her Semblance as she swung her sword, coated with her Aura, and hit Red so strong that her leader could feel his Aura almost crack from the hit. Red was shocked by this as Blue had to back away and let Green continue the assault. The brunette continued hitting Red with her blade as the cap wearing teen was so shocked from the impact from her attack that he didn't have enough to defend when Green kept attacking him with her weapon. For the first time, Red couldn't keep up with the assault as Green's strikes were really strong that it could even crack his infinite Aura. Green was then ready to finish this off as she prepares a powerful swing while Red tried to strike at her quickly, but Green immediately brought her blade at him as he crashed to the floor and caused a massive crater on it.

Green took a few deep breathes as she then drop her weapon and raised both of her arms while letting out a scream of victory.

Watching from behind were a tired Yellow and a slightly tired Blue, the stoic looked at the scene with a bit of shock.

"This never happened Red right?" Yellow asked Blue as she was equally shocked as he was.

"Yeah, nobody could really break through his Semblance, but Green's might be a another counter against his. I don't think her Semblance is just increasing her power, it's like her attacks are releasing a dangerous amount of force that could break through Red's Aura" Blue deduced as he and Yellow then saw Green carrying Red by her shoulder as their leader was a bit dazed.

"Man, you hurts like my sister," Red said to Green as she have to stop him from stumbling.

"What does your Semblance do anyway?" Blue asked as he and Yellow approached him.

Green simply smiled and said, "I simply made your Aura overwork itself till it destroys itself. If I have pumped more of my Aura in it, I would've finished you immediately."

"Damn, I think you are the third person that has a Semblance that could beat me," Red complimented her as she giggles.

Yellow frowns as she look at this with a bit of envy till she blinks and realized what she was thinking, she tips her hat forward to hide her blush and began to question herself. Blue noticed this as he let out a sigh, another future problem for Red.

"Let's get something to eat, I'm starving," Red said as he laughs a bit before he and his team then left the area.

There's nothing else to say really, I'm just happy that you guys still read this story. I still have some ideas in store if this reached its finale. It has been a long time since I joined this website and I love being here, the many stories that I could read and enjoy, the stories I made with pride, and I'm not getting tired going here time to time.

I might not even stop creating stories even if I have a job or something that would need my full attention, after discovering this website is a big life changer for me.

But for now, I think it's time for me to end this here and I'll see you guys on the next chapter.
