Hi, I'm back! Sorry for taking so long. The majority of the story was written during school, specifically during study hall, lunch, and sociology when we weren't doing anything or just watched videos. Plus, I'm really enjoying writing my MHA/Transformers Prime story. Speaking of that, MPA was a beta name, I didn't like it all that much. It's called "All for Primus", now. Hopefully I'll actually post the first chapter soon. No promises, though.
Also, the Wattpad upload, why did you explode during the hiatus? ALSO ALSO, don't expect there to be another chapter next Saturday. I still want to finish season D, but I wanted to get out there that this isn't abandoned.
Anyways, I hope you enjoy after this... three/four month hiatus.
The sun shone high in the sky as they stopped in a wooded area and decided to get more familiar with the forms that they weren't extremely familiar with. Currently, neither of them were transformed, but both watches were activated. Psychobos and EightEight were outside with them, while Kevin and Asani decided to stay in the Dark Eagle. Gwen looked at them and asked, "What should we go with?"
"What forms do both of you consider yourselves unfamiliar with?" Psychobos started.
Gwen cycled through the Omnitrix before she said, "I haven't used Ukemochi since that form was unlocked, Xylene touched the Omnitrix so… there's whatever her species is, I actually haven't used the Sotoraggian form at all-"
"When did you unlock that?" EightEight gurgled. Gwen shrugged.
She then added, "I haven't used Dianmu or Raijin much, I just regained Styx a few days before we met you so I could technically get familiar with her, and I don't know if you-" she motioned to Psychobos, "-touching the Omnitrix will unlock your species."
The Cerebrocrustacean nodded before looking at Ben and telepathing, "And you, Ben?"
"Just… Abraham and Alleater mostly," Ben answered. He glanced at the Omnitrix, "Unless some of Gwen's forms didn't touch the Nemetrix."
Psychobos nodded before once again looking at Gwen. He telepathed, "What species do you have unlocked?"
"I don't know all the species, but I've unlocked Petrosapien, Pyronite, Galvan, Kineceleran, Tetramand, Piscciss Volann… Ectonurite, Vulpimancer… one of the Lepidopterran species, Galvanic Mechamorph, Pelarota… Florauna, Loboan, Thep Khufan, Nosedeenian, Sotoraggian, Transylian… and whatever Carmilla and Xylene's species are," Gwen answered.
"Xylene is an Uxorite. Can you describe the Lepidopterran you have unlocked and your form titled Carmilla?" Psychobos inquired.
"Carmilla is the same species as Dracula and Selket is the white, black, and green Lepidopterran," Gwen replied.
"A Dominant Lepidopterran," Psychobos stated. The Cerebrocrustacean then walked over to Ben and opened his shell, the Nemetrix beginning to spin. He glanced at Gwen and telepathed, "Transform into your Uxorite form." Gwen nodded before finding the form and pressing down. At the same time, the Nemetrix flashed.
The green light revealed a somewhat small Uxorite, a bit taller than Kevin but not by much. She wore dark blue armor with forest green highlights. She looked at herself with three pink eyes, bird-like feet making an odd noise against the grass. The Omnitrix symbol was on her ankle, like a bracelet of some kind. Her tail swished as she looked over at the Nemetrix made creature.
The red light faded at the same time as the green light, revealing a long, deep purple snake with piercing pink eyes. The Nemetrix was its typical collar-like around where the creature's neck would be.
"A Ringa Slicer," EightEight hummed.
"Personally, I feel as if that name is inaccurate. These 'slicers' only hunt the native species on Ringa Morr, not Ringa Haine. Along, Ringa Slicers don't have any flight capabilities nor no need to breathe, unlike that of an Anurian Shadow," Psychobos telepathed. EightEight hummed again.
The Sotoraggian then looked at the Uxorite form and said, "Uxorites use telekinesis, but a better way to say it is extremely limited mana-based powers with that limit being telekinesis. They're also one of most fragile sapient species in the Milkyway, one of the others being the Passeri Mimmick."
"And think of Slicers as the opposite of Uxorites," Psychobos added. "They're dense, have a bit of mana immunity, and use mana themselves but only in bursts."
"What's the big deal with mana?" the Slicer hissed.
A beat.
Psychobos sighed slightly as EightEight gurgled, "Neither of you know what mana is? We fought an Anodite before, they're literally made of mana."
"Inaccurate, but a common misconception," Psychobos whispered as the watch-made Uxorite and Slicer shook their heads.
"Mana is lifeforce. It's nearly in all creatures in our galaxy, the only exceptions being from Anur," EightEight explained. "Some species can manipulate mana to form attacks or defenses."
"The reason why an Uxorite's powers are considered mana based is because pink, and the purple hue of an Uxorite's powers comes from the natural pink of mana," Psychobos added. "It is a similar case with Slicers, but their mana ability is much more obvious."
"Mana is weird," EightEight summarized.
The Uxorite nodded before looking towards a few twigs on the ground. A few seconds later, her eyes glowed and the twigs gained a pink glow. They floated off of the ground. Psychobos clicked one of his claws before randomly telepathing, "I didn't think the Omnitrix had an instincts dump."
"Instincts dump?" the Slicer hissed, looking at the crab-like and tilting his head slightly.
Psychobos was quiet for a moment before saying, "Imagine if you were suddenly turned into a creature with gills, but you didn't know how to use said gills. That would turn into a problem extremely quickly."
"Or a creature that doesn't need to breathe in the first place," EightEight shrugged.
"It's useful," the Uxorite stated. She spun the twigs around herself with her telekinesis, staring at them as they moved. The Slicer slithered a bit closer before looking at a certain spot the twigs were flying in. Then, a burst of pink was released and crashed into the twigs. The Uxorite flinched back and dropped the twigs as EightEight instinctively reached for a talon and Psychobos watched.
As the Slicer and Uxorite stared at each other, Psychobos telepathed, "I expected the Omnitrix's Uxorite form to act much differently. Maybe an effect of the Omnitrix?"
EightEight lowered her claw before commenting, "I suspect it's a carryover from Styx. Whenever both Styx and Belltail are out, they tend to chant 'no fear'." Psychobos briefly let out a weird combination of a laugh and a scoff.
"Interesting," Psychobos stated. "I can't think of a case where an Anur species wasn't scared of an Anurian Shadow."
The two reptile-likes looked at the Sotoraggian and Cerebrocrustacean. The Uxorite then asked, "What should we do now that we're in these forms?"
EightEight immediately said, "Uxorites technically have no weight limit for what their telekinesis can grab, but it requires practice and knowledge of mana. Even though we lack the means to do one, you can still see what the harsh limit is for your telekinesis." A beat. "It's gonna be weird saying you and this form is one in the same, you name them which is convenient so I'm not complaining if you have a name."
The Uxorite was quiet for a moment before proclaiming, "Psyche!"
The Slicer was also quiet before exclaiming, "Pulsebreaker!"

She stared at the strange collection of creatures. One she recognized from a previous encounter, the Sotoraggian. Didn't get their name because of language barriers but still. She grinned before floating herself up slightly. Technically, also the two weird shapeshifters, but shrug. The Nosedeenian and weird Osmosian weren't around, from what she could see. Good, those two were devils in the flesh. Planchakules were imps, not devils, there's a difference. The Cerebrocrustacean is new though, but just from what little interaction she has seen, there was a great trust between it and the shapeshifter who changed to the Ringa Slicer.
They already (pardon her language) fucked up the job she was requested to do. She stared at the Uxorite and lifted a hand. A pink disk formed at the edge of her lifted fingertips and she gained a smirk. No one, and she meant no one was going to get in her way. She would deal with these children wielding these two keys of universal safety.
Why else would the Highbreed request this?
Was the so-called Predatrix a key to safety? Didn't matter to her, the Highbreed just wanted the so-called Omnitrix destroyed. Should be simple enough. There was an off chance the Predatrix also being back dead species, which was why her eyes were on that as well. Infer just had to wait for them to 'timeout' as they said.
Time to wait.
A beat.
Waiting sucks.
And the manaless was a 'Psyche'?

Once the proclamations were complete, EightEight made a strange noise that sounded like a mix of a screaming cockatoo and a crying cat. Psychobos looked towards EightEight, shell opening slightly. "Is something wrong?" Psychobos telepathed as Psyche and Pulsebreaker looked over.
EightEight stopped the noise and squeaked, "How much do you know about Sotoraggian culture?"
"Admittedly, only that they have a trial to prove a Sotoraggian is ready to be on their own," Psychobos answered.
"Oh no, uh-" EightEight squeaked, then making a clipped version of the noise from before, followed by her saying, "A Sotoraggian deity is called Psyche and they're-" the same strange noise "-uh, in all Sotoraggian religions, Psyche is depicted as either an immortal Sotoricity or the one who created Sotoricities and other predatory creatures on Sotoragg."
"But Celestialsapiens exist," Psychobos commented.
"Doesn't stop creatures from falling back on what they've always believed," EightEight replied.
"What are Celestialsapiens?" Pulsebreaker asked.
"Not important," EightEight stated, quickly diverting the conversation. "I suggest finding Psyche's harsh limit and use that to let Pulsebreaker get down accuracy." Psychobos psychically hummed, causing EightEight to stared at him.
"Thoughts?" Psychobos telepathed, looking at Psyche and Pulsebreaker.
A beat.
"Nothing much to say," Psyche shrugged.
"Very well," Psychobos telepathed.
…
Rocks spun around Psyche as she floated in the air, a pink aura surrounding everything she telekinetically grabbed. Pulsebreaker was slithering under Psyche and her orbit, releasing a burst of energy every now and again at one of the rocks. A few times they missed, but most of them crashed into and broke the rocks. The pebbles and dust from the rocks were grabbed by the telekinesis, staying a part of the orbit.
Psychobos watched them as EightEight went back to the Dark Eagle to check on Kevin and Asani. A beeping came from both symbols, causing Pulsebreaker to stop and Psyche and the rocks to drop to the ground. Twin green and red flashes and the two watch wielders were back.
The Cerebrocrustacean started towards them, beginning to say something before a sudden burst of mana was thrown. He reeled as Ben flinched away and the mana disk forced Gwen to the ground. The Omnitrix screamed and suddenly released a flash of green light. Something forced Psychobos back and he barely saw an Anodite surging forward towards the Omnitrix wielder.
He forced out a surge of electricity, releasing a wave at the Anodite. It noticed the surge, turned towards him, and brought up a shield of mana. The electricity smashed against the shield and the Anodite made a disappointed ticking noise.
"My my, not very impressive, says Infer," the Anodite casually said. "Sound gives it away, no, says Infer? Maybe be quiet, says Infer."
"What-"
"Get off me!"
"Why is there-"
"There's eight of us?"
"The fu-?"
Infer turned to the Omnitrix wielder, then paused. In the child's place was… were eight small, clearly female, humanoid black and white creatures with two ponytails on each of their heads, the Omnitrix symbol on her shoulder, and their eyes a bright orange. All eight were on top of each other, all attempting to get off but failing. Near the bottom of the pile, however, only one of the creatures had a strange green band around the neck.
"Oh god-"
"So are we all one in the same, or?"
"Heh?"
"Oh no-"
"Combine!"
"Yea, less mess!"
"Combine!"
"Combine!"
Suddenly, the strange pile collapsed into a more manageable number of three. Infer floated towards the three as Ben dashed to Psychobos. The Cerebrocrustacean opened his shell slightly, recovering as Infer continued to the new form.
"What's this, says Infer?" the Anodite hummed. "I don't recognize this species, says Infer." The three odd creatures looked at them.
"Psychobos? Are you…?" Ben asked, putting a hand on his arm and shaking it slightly.
"I'll be fine," Psychobos telepathed, causing the boy to mostly relax. He lifted his arm and brushed it against Ben's. The Cerebrocrustacean looked at the Anodite and Omnitrix-made creature(s?). "A Splixson," Psychobos quietly telepathed.
"What are you, says Infer?" Infer said, floating around the trio of clones. "I'm not familiar with this species, says Infer. Can you tell, says Infer?"
"I've never studied Splixsons," Psychobos muttered. "I don't know what is active in the mana code of their DNA…"
"Mana code?" Ben muttered back.
"Oh, it's a section of DNA that determines how a species interacts with raw or weaponized mana. Most species are not immune to mana, but can't utilize it either. There's a few species completely immune to mana and can't use mana, but there's species who are immune yet still use mana," Psychobos dumped. "Anodites are an odd case, they're the only ones whose mana code is completely active. I know the Splixson predator, Panuncian, has a mana code that makes it immune to mana and can't use mana itself, but nothing on the Splixsons themselves… The mana code isn't that well known, anyhow… never released an official statement, hmm…"
Ben rubbed his hand against Psychobos again. The Cerebrocrustacean looked at the child. He did the action on the child's arm. (A red flag if he ever saw one.)
The Splixson trio of clones stared directly at Infer, confusion written on all three faces.
"Do we know what we are?"
"I dunno."
"I feel like we should know this."
"But we don't."
"Does that feel out of place at all?"
"No."
"Nope."
"Weird."
"Why is Miss Infer still here?"
"Dunno."
"Magic?"
"Is mana magic?"
"Doubt."
"Sister EightEight did say that mana was weird."
"Wait, is just saying 'doubt' an actual phrase?"
Infer suddenly said, "This is curious, says Infer. But I have a job to do, says Infer."
The Splixsons reacted… somewhat accordingly.
"OH SHIT!"
"Language!"
"Are we really doing this?"
The three then scattered as Infer suddenly released a burst of mana. She followed the path of the one with the green band-like necklace. Her hands flowed sharply and she threw a disk at the Splixson. The pink energy crashed into the ground, tearing part of the ground and fling dirt around. The Splixson jumped up due to the crash and split into two.
Psychobos looked towards the resting Nemetrix and stared at it. In a moment, it was suddenly red again and Ben turned his attention to the watch. As he stared at it, Psychobos telepathed, "Be careful." Ben looked at Psychobos and nodded slightly.
The Nemetrix suddenly flashed awake, displaying a hologram that wasn't available before. It looked like a saber tooth tiger, but there were clear differences. There was a Mohawk-like thing going along its back, a fluff at the end of its tail, and there was strange fluff around where its shoulders would be if it was bipedal. It forced itself down.
A red flash caused Infer and the Splixsons to look over. In Ben's place was a large dark magenta cat with large fangs, black fluff on its back, shoulders, and tail, and sharp claws. The Nemetrix symbol made itself home on a collar around his neck. The Panuncian suddenly howled, "Ditty!"
"What's a Ditty, says- Ahk!" Infer started before being suddenly tackled by the cat-like. It released a burst of mana around itself as the Splixsons regathered, but Ditty was clearly unaffected by the attack.
The Splixsons fused back to one as Infer teleported a short distance away. The Anodite glared at them as the Splixson was quiet for a moment before proclaiming, "Raktabija!"
Infer began to say something when the vehicle suddenly opened. EightEight suddenly threw a talon at the Anodite in a swift motion as she stepped out. Infer lifted a hand and the talon smashed against a quickly created shield. "You!" the Anodite screamed, floating up. "I'm tired of this! Excuse my language, but fuck off!"
Suddenly, an explosion of flour, cake batter, and frosting. Ditty reacted like a cat not wanting to be in the water being dumped into said water, dashing away from the center of the explosion, which was the now gone Anodite. Raktabija just stood there, the side facing the explosion now covered from head to toe in the three ingredients. Psychobos froze up, flour dusting his brain. EightEight approached them, the explosion of cake not reaching where she was but still wary of the mess around them.
Psychobos made an odd noise from his mouth, but the tone was clearly one of disbelief. The Sotoraggian glanced at him, then at the results of the weird teleportation.
"That's the second time that has happened, the towerspark," EightEight gurgled, pushing some of the mess with her foot. Ditty came to the other side of Psychobos, ears pinned back and magenta eyes staring at the cake-y explosion.
"That… happened?" Raktabija questioned, turning towards them and tilting her head slightly.
Psychobos blinked before he telepathically questioned, "What in the name of the ten beats happened?"
"Anodites?" Ditty somewhat replied.

Infer collapsed to the ground in the cave she decided on. She sat up, then stared at the mana-prove communication device. The Anodite got to her feet and floated over to the device. She tapped a few keys, then waited.
A few seconds later, a voice came from the machine. "Hello, sapient mana."
"That is not my name but hello, says Infer," Infer greeted.
"What do you have to report?" the voice questioned.
"The Omnitrix has a failsafe if against mana, says Infer," Infer stated. "They're now with a purple Cerebocrustacean, says Infer. Must be Predatrix creator, says Infer. Can't get close anymore, says Infer."
A beat.
The voice said, "Thank you for telling us, sapient mana. We will not need your services anymore. We will send the payment soon. This information is enough." The machine suddenly shut off.
Infer stretched, then kicked the machine. Nothing happened. She hummed.
Welp. Time to destroy this stupid thing.
Ushi: Thank you!
Eagle10000: Thankth.
