Finn growls as he pretty much nearly ripped his shoulder cannon from its holster but it actually just detached as Finn used a quick moment to let the code word caused the BFG to alter, giving a hole for the shoulder cannon attachment while he pulled out his super shotgun and used some other feature it had to make it well… he held a rather unique looking combined gun of BFG, shoulder cannon, and Super shotgun… making an impromtu Unmaykr weapon and both the handles of the BFG and Super shotgun were held by Finn as he roars and Marceline had wide eyes when many massive beams shot from many barrels that formed from the weapon shifting more and many demons got vaporized in an instant and Marceline had to jump from her portal when it was a huge lock on target for one of the beams… nuff said Finn looked like rage incarnate as he looks at Marceline as the other demons she summoned were dead and gone while he aimed the composite Unmaykr at Marceline.
"I'LL KILL YOU!... YOU FUCKING BITCH!" Finn roars while his fury empowered his demonic energy… a moment later he pulled the trigger and many beams of energy came Marceline's way but a spear with electrical energy shot over and collides with the beams pretty much negating the attack and he saw a figure near Marceline while a new portal opened behind her.
"Marceline… get in the portal… I'll hold the human off and join you on the other side so get Emerald's heart out of here." The figure said while Finn finally recognized him as Marceline's number 1 guard… Demonga the strongest electrical user in the Nightosphere.
"You!" Finn said as Marceline was amused.
"Farewell loser." She said before heading to the portal.
Finn roars with anger as he fired another barrage of lasers though Demonga blocked them with him firing many magical blasts of lightning.
"Enough human… your father isn't truly dead unless his heart is destroyed… think of him being unique in that a sex demon king is needed for his kind so unless a child is born who can take his title, he won't truly die, may as well consider him in a coma though that maybe a fate worse than death, unlike my mistress I'm not so cold hearted as to let your anger build without some kind of reward for you fighting one of the sentry golems here designed to defeat many powerful demons… if you really want to save your father, come try to find us… until then get stronger… anger is a powerful tool but right now you couldn't lay a blast on me as you are now." Demonga said as he entered the portal and it slowly closed behind him as Finn roars as he fired another barrage but the portal closed as Demonga's lone eye was seen before it too vanished… and right as that happened…. Dusk, Ruby, and Lillum managed to come into the room… banged up, bruised, cut, but otherwise fine though when they saw Emerald… well Dusk had wide eyes and kept quiet… Lillum and Ruby however…
"EMERALD/DAD!" The duo said as they ran to Emerald's body with tears in their eyes.
Finn had a regrettable look on his face.
"I'm sorry guys. I was too late. That Demon Queen Bitch took his heart and escaped with Demonga… but dad isn't dead."
"Maybe… but with his heart gone… he may have a fate worse than death if he doesn't wake… let's get out of here… after those beams came from that weapon most likely… the remaining demons around up vanished in portals… the castle was empty… even security golems not damaged just let us pass… it's like the Castle was abandoned." Dusk said as Finn in a momentary confusion on so many levels… well he vented when he backhands a nearby wall on the balcony… this pretty much destroyed the wall as he looks at Lillum and Ruby crying for Emerald… a moment later, Dusk used her powers to warp some clothes on Emerald's body and he was floating thanks to an effect Dusk used.
"Come on… now that we are in the Nightosphere I don't need to make a portal normally…" Dusk said as she opened a portal to the island and gestured for everyone to follow her as she had Emerald's body float after her.
Lillum was still crying as she barely walked to follow Dusk… this was how badly she was shaken up as Ruby couldn't even walk as she keeps crying while Finn broke apart his weapon back into its normal components and put them away as he went to pick up Ruby… while she cried, Finn had a determined angered look in his eyes as he had one thought as he approached the portal.
'You will regret this Demon Queen. You messed with the wrong family. Once I find you, I will get dad's heart back before killing you and if this Bonnie or Bubblegum woman is involved… she suffers too.' Finn thought.
The scene then fades to black on this day… for all intents and purposes… Emerald until his heart was brought back to him… was well and truly dead or in a limbo-like coma… just why did Marceline take Emerald's heart?... what plan did she have and why did it involve abandoning the Nightosphere Castle itself… one thing was sure… nothing would be the same for a good long while...
(Note from TME: unless stated otherwise, Emerald will either be in a coma or in a limbo like state until his heart is returned, so unless there is some lemons with Emerald's body being manipulated, he is pretty much out of the story aside from some mentions.)
