They now had a solid plan and not a moment too soon. Earth-83 only had nine hours until its timeline totally collapsed and the world was erased. The team who would go back to 1968 would be the TARDIS crew while Shinichi would join Ranma, Kenichi, Shinjiro and Shotaro to confront Viviana in the present. There was noticeably some tension between Shotaro and Alan. Thankfully, being on two different teams would prevent them from clashing.
Kenichi had asked Alan to meet him someplace where there was space for a vehicle. So, Alan decided to take him to the vehicle hangar. Alan had quite the collection of cars and motorbikes. While these vehicles were impressive, they weren't going to get the job done.
"So, what is it that you wanted to show me?" Alan asked.
"You might need this for your mission," Kenichi said as he dialled a number on his Faizphone X. A portal opened, releasing a strange machine into the hangar.
"What's this?" Alan asked as he studied the machine. Its body was a gunmetal grey colour with a slanted head that had glowing violet lines. A pair of arms were connected in the front by large slabs of metal while what appeared to be legs were connected in the back to form boosters.
"My Time Mazine. I'm letting you borrow it," Kenichi offered.
"The TARDIS is already a time machine," Alan pointed out.
"Can the TARDIS turn into a giant fighting robot?" Kenichi questioned.
"No, because she wasn't designed that way. She's a travelling machine, not a weapon." Alan was proud of his TARDIS. He had built it himself and improved it with his own two hands. While it was equipped with defences, it was primarily made for exploration, not war.
"Exactly," Kenichi pointed out with a teasing smirk. "It might be bigger on the inside, but it can't throw a punch."
Alan wasn't sure if he should be offended or not by Kenichi's comment but decided to brush it off. He kind of brought the comment on himself. Still, if it was a robot that had the power to travel through time like the TARDIS, it could prove useful in the future. He took out his Sonic Screwdriver and used it to scan the Time Mazine.
"What are you doing?" Kenichi wondered as Alan finished scanning the Time Mazine.
"Sending the specs to my TARDIS' replicator," Alan said as he put his Sonic Screwdriver away.
"Is it anything like a 3D printer?" Kenichi asked.
"Yes, but better," Alan smiled. "Unlike a standard 3D printer, it doesn't take forever to make something."
"Woah, sweet," Kenichi was impressed by that. He would have been even more impressed if he knew that replicators could also be used to fabricate food items.
"Hey, could you do me a favour?" Alan asked.
"Sure," Kenichi nodded. "What can I do?"
"Make sure Shinichi doesn't cross the line. I trust him but he can let his emotions get the better of him. Since Viviana killed his mother, I'm afraid of what he might do. Especially under his father's influence right now."
"Hey, you say you trust him, right? Then have faith that he will do the right thing."

Act IX: The Big Fix
The TARDIS materialized in the middle of Neo Hinamizawa City, appearing beside a regular old phone booth. A bum was sleeping inside the phone booth, his legs sticking out of the door. The arrival of the TARDIS almost woke him up but he just went back to sleep.
The TARDIS' door opened and Shinichi's team stepped out together. Alan stood by the door to see them off.
"Alright, time-space coordinates are now set," Alan informed them. "We'll head on to the past to stop Viviana."
"And we'll take care of her here in the present and hopefully wake up from this nightmare," Shinichi added. "Good luck, Alan."
"You too," Alan returned. "Hey, I know you probably heard this before but how are you feeling?"
"Not great," Shinichi admitted, shaking his head. "Kaa-chan's dead but if we're successful, everything will go back to normal."
"What will you do when you confront Viviana?" Alan questioned.
"I'll do what I should've done from the very start," Shinichi resolved.
"Are you sure it's the only way?" Alan asked.
"She's dangerous, Alan. After everything she's done, especially killing Kaa-chan, I can't find it in my heart to forgive her," Shinichi justified. "There is only one thing I can do to fix this mess, and it's the one thing I'm best at."
"That's what Gebok made you into, but you chose a different path, a better one," Alan reminded. "I'm not going to try and change your mind but I still believe you'll do the right thing."
"Thanks," Shinichi nodded. "You should go. You need to save Kaa-chan."
"Alright, take care now." Alan closed the door and Shinichi watched as the TARDIS disappeared. After watching the time ship vanish, Shinichi rejoined the other Riders.
"Alright, follow me. Her place isn't too far from here," Shotaro told them as he led the way. The group walked together and while they seemed relaxed, they were actually pretty tense, mentally preparing themselves for the battle that was to come. The stakes were high as the world's existence was on the line.
"I'm surprised you didn't want to go back in time to save Kaa-chan," Shinichi remarked.
"I've seen 'Back to the Future', son. Interacting with my past self could mess time up even more," Shotaro replied. "Besides, your brother seems trustworthy if a bit soft."
"He's not soft," Shinichi defended. "He's just a good man who believes in doing the right thing and that includes showing mercy."
"Well, his mercy allowed all this to happen."
"It wasn't his fault!" Shinichi snapped angrily at Shotaro. "It's mine! I was the one who didn't kill Eisenberg when I had the chance!"
"But...why? You knew she was dangerous. So why didn't you kill her?" Shotaro questioned in shock.
"Because I'm tired of being a killer," Shinichi confessed. "When Gebok made me into a cyborg, that was all I did. I killed so many people but then one day I killed the one person that truly mattered to me. Her death broke me so I ran. I ran and woke up in Hinamizawa. I met my friends and they restored my humanity. Gebok may have made me into a killer, but I decided I wanted to be a hero, someone who saved lives instead of taking them. So, if you want to blame anyone for Kaa-chan's death, then blame me for showing Eisenberg mercy."
Shotaro was speechless. He wasn't sure what to make of this. True, he should be angry that Shinichi's mercy had cost him his wife and unborn son, but after learning about what Shinichi had gone through, he understood where his son was coming from. The boy had been forced to kill for so long that being a killer came naturally. However, he decided he didn't want to be a killer anymore. Perhaps it was foolish of Shinichi to show Viviana mercy, but would Shotaro ever want his son to become a killer like him? He probably felt torn up inside from so much guilt over this.
"I'm sorry," Shotaro apologized. "I shouldn't have said those things."
"It's fine," Shinichi accepted. "You were just upset."
"So, if we do this, and the world goes back to normal, that means we all go where we belong in the original timeline, right?" Shotaro asked.
"That's right," Shinichi confirmed.
"It's funny. I don't remember you ever mentioning where I am in your life," Shotaro remarked and Shinichi stiffened. "That could mean I'm not in your life. I'm dead in your timeline, aren't I?"
"I'm so sorry," Shinichi apologized, unable to deny it. He should have known his father would figure it out. He was a former Interpol agent after all. "I didn't know how to tell you, Tou-chan."
"Tell me is your mother - is Shiori happy in your timeline?" Shotaro asked.
"Yes, she's happy," Shinichi answered sincerely. After reuniting with her son, she met Kasai, got remarried and had a child with him.
"Good, that's all I needed to hear," Shotaro accepted. He took out a folded sheet of paper from his jacket and handed it to Shinichi. "When you see her, give her this."
"After six long years of resistance, Queen Shawna of the Kingdom of Genovia has finally agreed to a formal surrender. Glory to our nation. Glory to our brave world. Glory to our Great Leader."
"Finally," Viviana said as she enjoyed her meal while listening to the news on her radio. She was having a delicious chicken schnitzel with mashed potatoes and a side of greens which were all drenched in brown gravy. She picked up her glass of red wine and took a sip. What would be even more delicious would be the taste of victory once BLACK 13 was six feet under.
"Ma'am," one of Viviana's guards reported, interrupting her meal.
"What is it?" Viviana asked coldly.
"They have arrived," he answered. "Shall I call for backup?"
"No," she denied as she wiped her mouth with her napkin. "Allow me to handle this personally." She had predicted this. She knew BLACK 13 would come for her so she did not need to waste any time and energy in trying to hunt him down. Soon, she would have the ultimate satisfaction of snuffing out his life, permanently.
Shinichi, Ranma, Kenichi, Shinjiro, and Shotaro reached Viviana's abode. It was a mansion that was built like a fortress.
"Guess she loves to live in style," Ranma commented.
Upon their arrival, they were greeted by the sight of the Another NUMBERS. Just as Shotaro had told them, they had been brought back to life and they were pissed. The kaijin growled and hissed menacingly as they watched the five men who came to confront their mistress. Meanwhile, Another Bomber was hovering high in the air, prepared for an aerial strike upon command.
"Viviana Eisenberg, we're here! Show yourself!" Shinichi shouted. "Hey, Eisenbitch! Come out and face us, you coward!"
"Nice one," Ranma grinned at the insult.
"You really are a stubborn one, BLACK 13," Viviana said as she stood upon her terrace, looking down on them. "My whole life went to hell all because of you." She slapped the Ziku-Driver on her waist and took out her Ridewatch. "So I'll repay the favour by erasing you from existence completely!"
"Eisenberg, your anger was the thing that led you to become this," Shinichi said, closing his eyes in remorse. "There's not a day that goes by that I wish I could bring all the people I killed back to life, and I truly am sorry for that." His eyes opened as he glared at her. "But your petty revenge against me has broken time and will cause this world to collapse on itself. Is your hatred for me worth sacrificing the entire world for? You've gone too far, and I'm going to put an end to your hatred once and for all."
"Spare me the drivel," Viviana scoffed as she held her Ridewatch. "This is our final battle and only one of us will be walking away alive." Her finger clicked the button.
[ReVenge!]
Viviana slid the Ridewatch onto her belt, causing a large, black and white clock with huge gears and XIII on it to appear behind her as it ticked loudly. She snapped her fingers across her face and put her hands on her Ziku-Driver.
"Henshin!" Viviana called before spinning the Ziku-Driver around to emit a loud beep.
[RIDER TIME!]
The Ziku-Driver flashed brightly as puzzle pieces flew out of the clock behind her and arranged themselves around her body, forming her suit of armour. Following the puzzle pieces, the XIII slapped onto her visor.
[KAMEN RIDER RE~VENGE!]
"There's no getting through to you then," Shinichi frowned as he crossed his arms over his chest to summon his Spark Core. He recognised a lost cause when he saw one. Ranma, Kenichi and Shinjiro threw their Drivers on their waist as Shotaro prepared to put his Skull Mask on.
"OK, boys!" Shotaro said as he put on his helmet. "Let's do this!"
Ranma removed the buckle from his Decadriver to place it on the left side of his belt. He then took out his K-Touch and hit the icons on the screen.
[Zi-O!]
[Decade!]
Kenichi took out both his main Ridewatch and a red Ridewatch with Decade's face on it. The Decade Ridewatch had a unique design as it extended on one side into a Ridewatch slot. He slotted both Ridewatches into his Ziku-Driver and unlocked the buckle.
[TYRANNOSAURUS!]
Shinjiro had put the red crystal coin into his Fossirizer's jaws and prepared to activate it.
"Legacy Ride: Showa!" Shinichi called.
"HENSHIN!" the four Riders chorused.
[FINAL KAMEN RIDE: DECADE!]
Snapping the K-Touch to his Decadriver, Ranma transformed into Decade Complete Form, sporting a silver and black version of his suit. He had a red frame that ran across his chest and shoulders to display the Kamen Ride cards of the first nine Riders whose powers he borrowed. Instead of their default forms, the Riders were depicted in their ultimate forms. A card with a headshot of his present form also appeared, set between the antennae of his helmet. The red eyes flashed as the transformation was complete.
[RIDER TIME! KAMEN RIDER ZI-O! ARMOR TIME! KAMEN RIDE! WOW! DECADE DECADE DECADE~!]
As Kenichi transformed into Zi-O, pieces of the Decade Armor appeared alongside spectral images that merged with him. With the Decade Armor equipped to him, Zi-O now had an appearance similar to Decade's default form, even sharing the same overall colour scheme. The only difference was in the leg armour which was silver and divided by a red stripe. Written across his chest and left shoulder was a white barcode and 'Decade' was written across his right shoulder in katakana. Equipped to his helmet was a touchscreen that projected an image that resembled faceplate but with green katakana in the visor that spelt 'Decade' as well. This was Zi-O Decade Armor.
[RAMPAGE! STALKING THE JUNGLES! RULING FROM THE TREES! TYRANO MAX! GAAAOO~!]
Shinjiro roared as a crimson cocoon encased him and burst open, revealing Kamen Rider Jura Tyrano Max.
A golden gate rose behind Shinichi as the Legendary Showa Riders appeared to stand alongside him. Ichigo to Stronger stood on his right while Skyrider to J stood on his left. The gate had Showa's face in the middle and was surrounded by locks that corresponded to each of the Legendary Showa Riders. The gate opened to release a bright radiance. At the same time, Shinichi's Spark Core began to shine brightly as his body was bathed in the gate's bright light. Finally, the Showa Riders merged with him to create his ultimate form, Showa Legacy.
"Rejoice!" Woz announced dramatically as he suddenly appeared. "The Heir of the Showa fights alongside the Heir of the Heisei to set things right! Together with the Destroyer of Worlds, the Jurassic Warrior, and the Skull Mask, they will write a new chapter in history!"
For a moment, nobody said or did anything, too gobsmacked by Woz's sudden announcement.
"...Are you insane?" ReVenge muttered.
"Um, who's he talking to?" Skull Mask asked Zi-O.
"Don't mind him, he always does that," Zi-O dismissed. He was used to it by now.
"This ends now, Eisenberg!" Showa pointed at ReVenge, ignoring the awkward moment.
"It will end with you! Kill them all!" ReVenge ordered and her Another NUMBERS roared as they charged at the five Riders. Showa ran past the Another NUMBERS and jumped on the terrace to engage ReVenge. He dragged her away from her forces so he could deal with her himself. Woz gracefully bowed out and stepped aside to let the final battle commence.
Skull Mask hit Another Arachnea with an explosive punch, knocking it into Another Musician. Another Carmen went to strike him down but he grabbed the monster's scythe and wrenched it out of its hands. He slashed Another Carmen across the chest before he tossed the scythe away and delivered a set of chain punches. He terminated the combo with a haymaker that blew Another Carmen up. Spinning around, he jumped and delivered a flying kick straight at Another Arachnea, hitting the spider monster with the explosive finisher. Another Musician played its dreadful violin, blasting Skull Mask with a sonic attack. It chuckled as it continued to play before an arm burst out of its chest. It dropped to the ground dead as Jura withdrew his arm.
"Thanks," Skull Mask said gratefully, his ears still ringing.
"You're welcome, Jii-chan," Jura nodded.
Another Slasher spat acid from its three heads at Zi-O who jumped back to avoid the acidic spit.
"Hey, no spitting! It's rude and gross!" Zi-O yelled.
[RIDE HEISABER!]
Zi-O summoned his weapon, the Ride Heisaber. It was a sword that was modelled after a silver wristwatch. The silver blade had a crimson edge and sitting at the base of the blade was a circular apparatus that resembled a clock, complete with a hand to select the Rider icons on it. Attached to the clock was a Ridewatch slot that resembled a crown. Along the flat of the blade was a black section inscribed with the symbols of the Heisei Riders.
He blocked Another Slasher's chainsaw with his Ride Heisaber, bracing himself against the monster's strength as sparks flew from the chainsaw's teeth grinding against his blade. As he held his ground, he turned the clock hand of his Ride Heisaber and squeezed the trigger.
[HEY, GAIM! GAIM! DUAL TIME BREAK!]
The Ride Heisaber glowed orange and he pushed Slasher's chainsaw aside to deliver a slash that trapped the giant Another NUMBER in an orange energy sphere. He then delivered another energized slash, slicing Another Slasher in half before it exploded.
Decade fired at Another Seras and Another Zero who dodged his shots. Frustrated, the Destroyer of Worlds was about to rush at them when Another Scanner grabbed him. The Another NUMBER put his hands on Decade and started draining him.
"Get off me!" Decade shouted as he swiped the screen of his K-Touch to reveal a new set of Rider symbols and tapped the screen.
[GHOST! KAMEN RIDE: MUGEN!]
As Ghost Mugen Damashii appeared behind Another Scanner, Decade flipped out the blade of his Ridebooker. The cards across his chest also flipped over to depict Ghost Mugen Damashii. Decade swung and Ghost mimicked his movements, slashing Another Scanner across the back. It released Decade who inserted his card into his Decadriver's core unit.
[FINAL ATTACK RIDE: G-G-GHOST!]
"GETSUGA TENSHOU!" Decade shouted as he and Ghost delivered space warping rainbow energy slashes, destroying Another Scanner with their combined power. He returned his attention to Another Seras and Another Zero. "And now, the two of you!"
[BUILD! KAMEN RIDE: GENIUS!]
As the cards on his chest flipped to depict his next summoned Rider, Build Genius Form appeared next to him.
[FINAL ATTACK RIDE: BU-BU-BUILD!]
"Trace On!"
Decade and Build simultaneously raised their right hands and summoned large axe-swords made of stone into their hands. Green power rippled from the summoned weapons and the two Riders ran up to the two Another Riders so quickly, they appeared right in front of them.
"Nine Lives Blade Works!"
Decade and Build Genius attacked with a heavy, high-speed, faster-than-sound combo of sixteen strikes that looked like a single slash to the naked eye. Another Zero flew high and fast to avoid the attack, but Another Seras was not as lucky as it ended up caught in the attack, its limbs severed by it. Decade and Build brought down their axe swords and cleaved through the mosquito kaijin, the sound barrier breaking from the strikes as it exploded.
As Build vanished, Another Zero came back around and fired its harpoon at Decade who dodged out of the way. It fired its minigun next, blasting Decade repeatedly.
A large spiked ball rolled towards Jura who caught it. It still kept trying to run him over but the Dino Rider dug in his heels and tossed the monster away. Another Armadillo smashed into Another Zero, knocking it to the ground.
Another Zero and Another Armadillo got back up to attack when a yellow magic circle appeared beneath their feet and brought them to their knees. Zi-O had channelled Kamen Rider Wizard's magic through the Ride Heisaber, casting his Gravity spell.
While both Another Riders were immobilized, Jura used this chance to switch forms. He opened up the Fossirizer and replaced the T-Rex crystal coin with a blue crystal coin depicting a triceratops.
[TRICERATOPS! RAMPAGE! THE PERFECT DEFENDER! IMPENETRABLE SHIELD! TRICERA FORCE! GAAAOO~!]
A cocoon of blue energy enveloped him as an image of a triceratops appeared over him. The cocoon shattered to reveal him in a thick and powerful blue suit with yellow markings and plate armour that covered his whole body. There were small gaps between the plates to show bits of his bodysuit underneath. On his back was the image of a triceratops. His boots were as thick as tree trunks and his gauntlets were immense as they looked like they could pack a hell of a punch. His helmet was also modelled after the dinosaur with a huge shield-like frill, a pair of horns over his purple visor and a single horn dividing it.
"Time to go extinct!" Jura declared as he initiated his finisher.
[DANGER: METEOR EXTINCTION! GAAAOO~!]
He stomped the ground to cause a tremor that made it swell like a wave. The wave carried both Another Zero and Another Armadillo towards him as bluish energy gathered around his fists, forming triceratops heads over them. As soon as Another Zero and Another Armadillo came within striking range, he delivered his attack. His arms blurred as he threw a chain of a thousand powerful punches. The two Another NUMBERS painfully succumbed to Jura's assault and exploded.
Another King raised his sword to cut Zi-O down but he spun around and blocked its swords with the Ride Heisaber.
"Your form is weak!" Zi-O declared as he pushed Another King back with a slash of his sword. While Another King was recovering, Zi-O turned the clock hand to select another Rider's powers to channel.
[HEY, BLADE! BLADE! DUAL TIME BREAK!]
As Another King charged at Zi-O, History's Strongest Rider struck with his electrified sword, destroying it in an epic explosion.
Another Dancer burst out of the ground but Skull Mask dodged from the spot. It swiped at him with its twin arm blades but he blocked them with his forearms. It lunged at him and he punched the giant centipede creature in the face. It withdrew into the ground and Skull Mask waited for it to emerge. He felt the ground swell under him and sidestepped moments before it burst out from under him. He focused his power into his right foot and delivered a powerful roundhouse that knocked Another Dancer's head clean off its shoulders.
At the same time, Decade was confronted by Another Petrifier who was trying to turn him into a crystal statue. Decade was able to dodge the beams but at the rate it was firing at him, he could not get close enough.
He needed speed.
[DRIVE! KAMEN RIDE: TRIDORON!]
Once Drive Type Tridoron was summoned, he and Decade attacked at super-speed together, striking Petrifier with super-fast punches and kicks as they sped past. It failed to hit them as they dodged at super speed as well. They continued attacking, breaking pieces off Another Petrifier each time before Decade decided to finish it.
[FINAL ATTACK RIDE: D-D-DRIVE!]
Crimson energy gathered in their right legs as Decade and Drive executed the Tridrop Kick together, destroying Another Petrifier as it shattered into a million crystal pieces.
Jura was left to face Another Parasite again who laughed like a creepy child as it clapped. It was also covered by a layer of explosive ticks that crawled all over him. Skull Mask shuddered at the look of its creepy-crawly armour. Luckily, Jura already knew how to take care of this one.
"Round two then," Jura decided, clenching his fists. Another Parasite shot its rocket fists at Jura who deflected them. The rocket fists returned to Another Parasite as he bounced towards Jura. Jura ducked under Another Parasite who landed on his feet and rebounded to strike Jura in the back. He staggered forward and turned as Another Parasite laughed, bouncing up and down like a child on a sugar high. The windup key behind it turned and it spat a swarm of explosive flying ticks at Jura.
Jura drove his fist into the ground and pulled out his signature weapon, the TyrannosaurAxe, aka T-Axe. Just like its name, it was an axe modelled after a T-Rex head with the blade held between its jaws. The weapon also looked like it was made of stone. He inserted his T-Rex crystal into a slot on the back, and the eyes flashed.
[TYRANNOSAURUS: METEOR CUTTING! GAAAOO~!]
Roaring like his weapon, he swung his T-Axe at the swarm, projecting out a heatwave that incinerated them all and hit Parasite, causing it to scream as it recoiled from the intense heat. He then converted his weapon into a shotgun form and took aim.
[METEOR SHOOTING! GAAAOO~!]
He pulled the trigger and shot out a meteor fireball which morphed into the shape of a T-Rex head. It chomped Another Parasite and it exploded, along with the ticks it carried inside.
As the Another NUMBERS were destroyed, Another Bomber decided that it was up to it to destroy the Kamen Riders. It began firing a laser bombardment on the Riders, causing explosions to erupt all around them.
"Shit! Someone should take care of that thing!" Skull Mask suggested as he pointed up at Another Bomber.
"Allow me," Decade offered as he patted Jura's shoulder while holding up a card. "Sorry, but this might tickle a bit."
"Huh?" Jura blinked.
[FINAL FORM RIDE: JU-JU-JURA!]
Decade put his hands against Jura's back then spread them apart. This caused a pair of huge glider-like wings to spread out from Jura's back. The Dino Rider then hovered off the ground as his limbs folded in and a T-rex head snapped over his helmet while a triceratops head attached to the tip of his long tail.
"Alright, let's go!" Decade said as he hopped aboard the hybrid Jura Glider. The Jura Glider took off with Decade riding on top. Another Bomber spotted the Jura Glider and Decade and started firing on them but the Jura Glider barrel rolled and weaved between enemy gunfire. It spat fireballs with its T-Rex head, causing explosions to erupt all over Another Bomber's body. When the Jura Glider got close enough, it smashed its Tricera Tail club against the head, smashing through the cockpit.
"Alright, kid. Let's finish this," Decade decided as he activated another card.
[FINAL ATTACK RIDE: JU-JU-JURA!]
Yellow energy ignited around the Jura Glider and formed a giant spectral pterosaur. The Jura Glider shrieked as it shot straight at Another Bomber. The wings sliced right through its hull like a hot knife through butter. Both halves exploded as Decade and the Jura Glider watched Another Bomber's destruction, the spectral pterosaur vanishing as it powered down.
The Jura Glider hovered down and Decade leapt off its back before it changed back into Jura. As he landed on his feet, Jura regained his balance.
"That...felt weird..." Jura opined.
"It always is," Decade agreed. "Now, come on. Shinichi might need our help."
Meanwhile, Showa and ReVenge had taken their battle into her courtyard. This was their fight and it needed to be settled between them. Showa had armed himself with RX's Revolcane and Bioblade, dual-wielding them against ReVenge. Sparks flew during their clash as they traded blows. He parried her strikes before delivering a counterattack, ripping sparks across her chest. She recovered quickly and landed a slash across his chest but her second strike was deflected. He jabbed her in the chest with both his swords but she braced herself and she retaliated with a point-blank nuclear blast into his chest that knocked him back.
[Stronger!]
She activated the Stronger Ridewatch and loaded it into her sword's Ridewatch slot.
[FINISH TIME!]
Her Zikan Nuken began charging up using the Stronger Ridewatch's power and once it was fully charged, she pulled the trigger to deliver her attack.
[STRONGER! REVENGE SLASH!]
She swung her sword, sending a lightning-charged energy blade surging towards Showa. Reacting quickly, Showa used Stronger's powers to make himself immune as he used his swords as lightning rods to absorb her attack.
"Catch me if you can!" Showa taunted as he spread his wings and took off.
"You're not getting away this time!" ReVenge shouted as she activated the Skyrider Ridewatch.
[Skyrider!]
She launched herself into the air like a rocket to chase after him. She pursued him across the city and once she had him within range, she activated her Roborider Ridewatch.
[Roborider!]
Launchers appeared on ReVenge's back and she fired missiles at Showa. Showa turned in midair and shot the missiles with his Voltech Shooter, causing them to go off prematurely. As ReVenge caught up to him, she had to stop as a blimp flew in her path. She waited impatiently for it to fly past and when it did she found that her target was already far ahead of her.
"Get back here, you son of a bitch!" She fired a salvo of nuclear blasts at him but he easily deflected them with his wings. She did not let up as she continued to fire upon him. Switching tactics, instead of deflecting her attack, he opened up a portal to catch it. As the portal closed, another portal opened behind ReVenge and returned her nuclear blasts to her. She staggered forward as she was hit from behind and that was when Showa suddenly appeared before her in a burst of feathers.
"Surprise!" Showa yelled, spooking her. She threw a nuclear-powered punch at his face but he slapped her fist away. She kept throwing punch after punch only for them to be easily slapped away before Showa smacked her across the face. He smacked her repeatedly in the face before grabbing her visor. His grip was so tight that her visor started to crack. ReVenge tried to pry his fingers off her face but he just tightened his grip. He went into a nosedive and smashed her into the street below. He then hauled her up and pounded her with a flurry of rapid-fire punches.
"ORAORAORAORAORAORA!"
In the span of five seconds, she was bombarded with a total of five hundred punches before he sent her flying skyward with an uppercut. As she ascended, he warped above her and threw her down with a double hammer fist. As she plummeted, he once again warped to intercept her and sent her flying skyward a high kick. Showa rapidly warped around, sending ReVenge flying in different directions like a pinball. She was completely helpless as he ricocheted her across the city before finally sending her plummeting to the ground. She violently hit the ground and dug a trench with her body until she finally came to a stop.
Showa positioned himself high above her, his right arm changed into Riderman's cannon-like Blaster Arm while his left arm was changed into one of Super-1's blue Electro Hands. He aimed straight down at ReVenge as he steadied the Blaster Arm with the Electro Hand. Along with Super-1's power, he also fed Stronger's electromagnetic powers into the Blaster Arm. Energy gathered along the barrel as it was focused in front of the muzzle.
"SMILE, EISENBITCH!"
When ReVenge finally got back on her feet, it was already too late for her to do anything as he fired. The beam travelled at the speed of light and struck ReVenge with explosive force, forming a deep crater on impact.
Showa hovered down and stood at the edge of the crater to see ReVenge lying at the bottom. He approached her carefully and his scanner confirmed that she was still alive.
All of a sudden she shot up and stabbed him in the stomach.
"Ugh!" Showa grunted. She had been playing possum!
"Gotcha!" She withdrew her blade, splashing the ground with his blood as he staggered back.
"Dammit!" Showa cursed as she rose up and struck him with a brutal slash, knocking him on his back. While he was down, she flipped her Zikan Nuken into a reverse grip and hit the button on her weapon's Ridewatch slot.
[TIME CHARGE!]
Standing over him, she raised her Zikan Nuken to finish him for good while it counted down to his demise.
[FUNF, VIER, DREI, ZWEI, EINS! REVENGE TIME!]
"This is it! Time to meet your maker!" ReVenge shouted as she was about to deliver the killing blow.
"Get away from him!" Skull Rider yelled as he tackled ReVenge, disarming her as he shoved her to the ground. Holding her down, he began punching her.
"Get off me!" ReVenge shouted as she tried to block his blows.
"You bitch! You killed my wife!" Skull Mask angrily screamed. Having had enough, she punched him in the face. His head rattled in his helmet and a crack formed as he was thrown off her.
"Tou-chan!" Showa got up to help his father.
"I'm fine," Skull Mask insisted as he rubbed his chin.
"What are you doing here?" Showa asked.
"We thought you could use some backup so we split up and went looking for you," Skull Mask answered. "Now, how about we make this Eisenbitch pay, son?"
"Right," Showa nodded. "Let's do it, Tou-chan! For Kaa-chan!"
"For Shiori!" Skull Mask vowed as he and his son shared a manly handclasp.
[NUKING SLASH!]
Picking up her sword, ReVenge delivered a flying energy slash but the two Riders leapt over it and hit her with dropkicks. She staggered from the blow but was able to block Skull Mask's follow-up punch, only to be struck by Showa's fist. She recovered quickly to slash Showa who parried with the Revolcane before he punched her with Super-1's Power Hand, nearly breaking her visor.
Skull Mask hit her with a right cross and delivered a left hook but she caught his punch and drove her knee into his stomach. She gathered nuclear energy into her fist and sent him flying with a blast.
"Tou-chan!" Showa yelled. "You bitch!" He used Biorider's power to turn into a stream of water and surged towards her.
[Stronger!]
ReVenge countered with her electrified blade, shocking Showa and forcing him back to solid form. She then delivered a series of electrified slashes before she blasted him out of the crater with a nuclear-powered punch. ReVenge leapt out of the crater and charged at Showa with her Zikan Nuken charging up its finisher.
[FUNF, VIER, DREI, ZWEI, EINS! REVENGE TIME!]
"Time to disappear, BLACK 13!" Nuclear energy gathered in her Zikan Nuken's blade as she was about to deliver the killing blow.
"No!" Jura Tyrano Max shouted as he tackled ReVenge, knocking her away from them.
"Seriously, where do you pests keep coming from!?" ReVenge snapped, annoyed. These Riders were popping up like weeds.
"I won't let you hurt my grandfather and father!" Jura snapped.
"Your father...?" ReVenge remembered him screaming at her about killing his grandmother. She soon realized what his and Shinichi's connection was and grinned sadistically. "Of course. Now I see." She now had another chance to make BLACK 13 suffer even more.
Jura charged at her with a punch and she countered with a series of brutal slashes, sending him backpedalling. She slashed him across the chest with an energized slash of nuclear energy. He blocked with his arm blades and countered with his T-Axe, landing a strong blow across her chest.
Growling as she staggered back, ReVenge stretched her arm and fired blasts of nuclear energy at him. Jura ducked and rolled, slashing twice more with his axe before throwing a bio-energy-powered punch that connected with her chest, triggering a burst of flames as she was sent flying back.
Ignoring the pain, she put her hand against her helmet as a beam shot out from her visor like the X-Men's Cyclops. Jura crossed his arms as he deflected the beam. The beam spazzed out wildly as it was deflected, causing explosions to erupt around him.
"Shinjiro!" Showa yelled.
"Tou-san! Stay back!" Jura shouted back. He stomped on the ground, forcing a pillar of rock to shoot out next to him. With a strong kick, he shot the rock into ReVenge, disrupting her eye blast and knocking her to the ground.
"You...!" ReVenge growled as she picked herself up, pulling out another Ridewatch and activating it.
[V3!]
A tornado spiralled around her legs, allowing her to propel herself at Jura. Not allowing her to crash into him, he jumped and darted around the battlefield as she zipped around while trying to catch him. Spinning at the last minute, he held out his arm just as she was about to come at him again. As a result, she crashed into a painful clothesline which sent her tumbling to the ground. Pulling out his pterodactyl crystal, he inserted it into the T-Axe's back slot.
[PTERODACTYL: METEOR CUTTING! GAAAOO~!]
Jura delivered a flurry of hard and fast swings that caused small yellow blades of heat to fly out. Each blade homed onto ReVenge, slicing into her and causing sparks to burst off her like blood with each hit. She released pained cries as the blades cut through her. He quickly switched his axe into its gun form to execute a different attack with it.
[METEOR SHOOTING! GAAAOO~!]
A barrage of yellow energy blasts in the shape of screeching pterosaurs shot towards ReVenge. She put up a barrier around her to block the attack, but the resulting explosion shattered her defence, causing her to spin out of control. Looking up, she saw Jura approaching her like a rushing predator. His wild and erratic fighting style was starting to get on her nerves.
"You know what, kid? Screw this!" ReVenge shouted, eyes flashing as she pointed at him. "Time for the predator to be the prey!"
All of a sudden, evil spirits surrounded Jura and grabbed him. He struggled as his body glowed with bio-energy to burn them off. Instead, the spirits exploded, causing him to scream out in pain as he was sent flying, knocked out of his transformation.
Laughing cruelly, ReVenge pressed the buttons on her Ridewatch and Driver to finish him off.
[FINISH TIME!]
"Don't you dare!" Showa shouted, spreading his wings to stop her but a barrage of nuclear blasts from a portal held him off. "Fuck! Shinjiro!"
"I hope you're watching this, BLACK 13!" ReVenge mocked with devilish glee, lowering her hand before spinning her Ziku-Driver. "Let me show you what you've done to so many other families!"
[TIME SHOCK!]
ReVenge tucked in her legs and jumped into the air to deliver her signature Rider Kick, aiming straight for Shinjiro. At the last second, just as her attack was about to connect, Skull Mask came and pushed his grandson out of the way to take the full brunt of her attack instead. He was sent flying as his chestplate and helmet shattered to pieces.
"TOU-CHAN!" Showa screamed. He ran towards him as he lay on the ground. Kneeling down, he cradled his father in his arms. "Tou-chan, are you alright!? C'mon, speak to me!"
"...Damn, that hurt," Shotaro groaned as he coughed up blood. Blood was also trailing down his face from a cut on his forehead. Showa tried to use his powers to undo the damage but it was no use as his powers glitched again. He tried again but he couldn't do anything to heal his father.
"Dammit," Showa cursed, fighting back tears. "Tou-chan, you're hurt. We need to retreat and get you fixed up."
"...I...I don't think I'm gonna make it," Shotaro responded weakly.
"Don't say that!" Showa cried. "You're not going to die! I won't let you!"
"...When you fix this...you take care of your mother for me, OK?" Shotaro put his hand on Showa's chest and he held it there. "Promise me."
"Yes, I promise you," Showa swore.
"Good... and take care of that kid brother of yours, yeah? He really does want to look out for you. I'm proud of you...son..." Shotaro's head went limp as he closed his eyes.
"Tou-chan? Tou-chan!?" Showa desperately shook his body. "TOU-CHAN!"
"Jii-chan?" Shinjiro asked as he crawled over and checked his grandfather's pulse only to shake his head sadly. "Tou-san, Jii-chan's...he's gone."
Showa fell silent and gently laid Shotaro's body down to rest.
"Jiro, look after your grandfather for me," Showa growled. He stood up and turned to face ReVenge as she strode towards them to finish the job.
Showa's fists clenched tightly as his eyes turned red.
She was going to pay!
No mercy!
ReVenge fired a blast of nuclear energy at them but a portal opened up and swallowed her attack before four portals opened around her and blasted her with her own attack. She was knocked off balance by the blasts as Showa charged at her. He threw himself at ReVenge with an explosive flying kick, sending her tumbling violently. She jumped back to her feet, only to be met by several punches. She tried to defend herself from the blows, but Showa refused to let up on her.
"You sick little bitch! Do you have any idea what you've become, you goddamn maniac?!" Showa angrily yelled as he continued wailing on her. ReVenge threw a nuclear-powered punch but he caught her fist and twisted her arm until it snapped, causing her to yell in pain. "All this power, and for what!? Revenge!?" He punched her in the face repeatedly before he kicked her to the ground. "Did it feel good!? Did you enjoy trampling over all those lives just to get to me!?"
"You don't get to ask me that, you murderer!" she snapped, getting up and holding her broken arm. Reversing time on her injured limb, she restored it to working condition. "You killed my parents!"
"And you killed mine!" Showa spat. "You thought by killing my mother before I was born would make everything better, but it didn't! It just made everything worse! What did you think was going to happen!?"
"I...I just don't understand what went wrong," ReVenge said in a hushed tone. "You killed them, so if I killed you before you were born then my parents would be alive. They were supposed to be alive! But when I came back, they were still dead! Even after everything I've done, after all my efforts, I don't know why, but they were still dead!"
"Because GIN-SHOCKER sent someone else to steal their research and they killed your parents," Showa elaborated. "Attempting to erase me didn't change anything because it was GIN-SHOCKER who murdered your parents and I was nothing more than a puppet. And now look at you, working for your parents' killers. You're nothing but a coward and a hypocrite."
"How dare you!?" ReVenge snapped in outrage.
"You could've gone back in time and saved your parents but instead you killed an innocent mother and her unborn child!" Showa furiously pointed out. "You called me a cancer to this world but the world is like this because of you! How many innocent people do you think have suffered because of what you've done? Your parents would be ashamed of you! They wanted to make the world a better place but I bet they must be rolling in their graves right now! And all because of you!"
"Shut up! Don't you say another word!" ReVenge shouted back. She refused to believe that the world was a better place before with BLACK 13 in it. That just couldn't be true. How could one person, especially him, be vital enough to affect the world so greatly? "You can go and make yourself look like a victim of circumstance but you're just a monster, and that's all you'll ever be!"
"Monsters don't feel remorse," Showa growled deeply. "And you have none."
ReVenge gasped, slowly stepping backwards. She had heard those words before. They were the same words Shiori had said to her when she confronted her in the village market.
It couldn't be true, could it? She wasn't a monster like him. She wasn't. And yet all her actions so far said otherwise. She had killed an innocent woman to prevent BLACK 13's birth and yet failed to save her parents. And now she was working for GIN-SHOCKER, the same organization that had sent him to kill her parents.
Why? Was this a cruel twist of fate? She thought that by changing history, then the world would be a better place. Instead, she had just become another cog in GIN-SHOCKER's machine.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHH!" ReVenge screamed as she opened a large portal to fire an intense roaring beam of destructive emerald energy at Showa. Unable to accept the reality of what she had done, she just wanted the source of her grief to disappear.
Showa used his Void Wings to shield himself from her attack and was pushed back. He allowed her to push him back far enough before he dug in his heels and held his ground. He summoned his four-space time portals and returned fire, the beams crossing as they pushed against ReVenge's attack. He tucked in his wings and arranged his four space-time portals into a row in front of him as they continued to fire. The miniature Rider Masks on his chest glowed, feeding their power into the main Showa Mask in the centre. The eyes flashed brightly as he unleashed his attack.
"Chronicle Strife!"
Showa unleashed a blue energy beam from his Showa Mask that penetrated the four space-time portals. The interdimensional energies of the portals mixed with the new attack causing it to grow in power and intensity. Both their beams began pushing against each other in a struggle for dominance.
"AAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHGHHHHH!"
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
Screaming at the top of their lungs, they continuously poured more power into their beams, but it looked like they were evenly matched.
Caught in a stalemate, victory could go either way.
Meanwhile, the entire battle was being broadcasted all over the world. When Viviana learnt that the Kamen Riders had shown up at her home to confront her, she had sent for camera drones to cover the entire battle. Now, everyone, including the Resistance could witness their fight. They had witnessed Shotaro's death and were calling out for Showa to put Viviana in the ground. Rena and Rika both prayed that he would be victorious.
It was going to take a miracle for Showa to defeat ReVenge now.
Back in 1968, Shotaro was taking his wife Shiori to the amusement park for their Valentine's Day date. She was nine months pregnant and due any day now. While she should be staying at home, she insisted that he take her to the amusement park so they could ride the Ferris wheel together.
All of a sudden, an explosion in front of them made their car go airborne. As it flipped through the air, they screamed as it began to plummet back down to the ground. Shotaro and Shiori watched the ground come speeding up to them, believing that this may be the end…but it wasn't.
The car suddenly stopped its descent without crashing into the street. It was surrounded by a green energy bubble that gently lowered it to the ground. Once their car was set firmly on its wheels, the couple got a look at their saviour.
"Hi, are you folks OK in there?" Alan asked as he stood beside their car.
"Y—yeah," answered Shotaro, still in shock from everything that just happened. "What...what happened?"
"Sho-chan, I think the baby's coming!" Shiori yelled.
"What!?" Alan's eyes widened as he saw Shiori. She had her hands on her pregnant stomach, sweating profusely and breathing heavily. The shock of nearly dying must've caused her to go into labour. "Oh, shit! You're right! Get her to the hospital and don't stop for anything!"
"Wait!" shouted Shiori. "What's your name? You saved us and…I want to name my baby after you."
Alan paused for a moment. This wasn't the first time a pregnant woman he had saved wanted to name their child after him, but he knew the end result of this pregnancy.
"It's Shinji," Alan answered with a smile. "Now, you should get out of here and don't look back."
"Thank you, Shinji-kun," Shiori smiled before Shotaro hit the gas and drove off. Alan watched the car go before he narrowed his eyes and scanned the area for his target.
Another Showa had cloaked herself and stood by the road waiting for the couple's car. She knew that this would be the road they would take to go to the amusement park so all she had to do was wait. When she saw them, she executed her plan and threw a fireball that sent their car flying into the air. The crash would have killed them if they had not been saved by that mysterious stranger.
"Change of plans," Another Showa decided. She would follow them to the hospital and kill BLACK 13 when he was a baby instead. Just as she was about to chase after the couple, Alan suddenly appeared in front of her, arms crossed as he hovered while glaring at her. She was so spooked that she dropped her cloak.
"You're not going anywhere," he threatened.
"Get out of my way!" Another Showa threw a punch at Alan but he caught her fist in his hand. His eyes flashed as he blasted her with his heat vision, sending her tumbling across the road.
"Looks like my powers are back," Alan smiled, happily surprised by the return of his Kryptonian powers. The timeline changes caused by Viviana had originally erased them but coming back to the past before she could change the timeline had restored them.
"Let's get her, partner!" Bazel cheered.
Alan shot towards Another Showa as she stood back up. He hit her with a right hook, then a left hook, followed by an uppercut before sending her into the air with a high kick to the jaw. She quickly corrected herself and flew at Alan when Megan phased out of the ground, surprising her. The female Martian delivered a punch that threw Another Showa at Nozomu who was waiting for her.
The wolf youkai growled as she grabbed Another Showa and spun her around and around before tossing her up. Nozomu then caught Another Showa by her ankle and smashed her repeatedly to the ground before she tossed her across the road, sending her tumbling.
As Another Showa picked herself up, Nozomu and Megan attacked together as they punched her repeatedly before knocking her into the air with twin uppercuts. While airborne, she used her wings to correct herself but green chains suddenly appeared and wrapped around her wings. She yelled as she was pulled down and smashed to the ground.
Jade came swooping in, green energy encasing her hands to form giant spiked boxing gloves. She struck with a painful right hook, sending Another Showa tumbling. As she flipped back to her feet, she fired upon the green girl who flew out of range to join Yuji in the air.
"Light her up!" Yuji ordered as he fired Photonic Blasts while Jade threw a salvo of green energy bolts. Another Showa countered with plasma blasts but they evaded her attempt to shoot them down. This, unfortunately, left Another Showa wide open for Misato to drive her Blood Rapiers into her chest.
"Gah!"
"And that's for nearly erasing us from existence!" Misato yelled before she kicked her in the chest. As Another Showa backpedalled, Misato delivered a flurry of jabs with her Blood Rapiers, ripping sparks of Another Showa as she failed to block the strikes.
Sora quickly joined the battle, her nanomachines shifting her body to grant her white angelic wings and large golden cat paws on her hands and feet. She took off into the air as holes opened up under her paws.
"Bombs away!" she shouted, dropping bombs on Another Showa. The fake Rider screamed in outrage as explosives rained down on her. The bombs went off violently and tossed her into the air before she landed roughly on her back.
Getting back up and ignoring her injuries, Another Showa was about to lunge at the flying woman but was blasted by a dark fireball courtesy of Alice who was in her adult form. When Another Showa saw her, she thought she was looking at an angel but realized Alice's angelic wings were a collection of sharp blades made into the shape of wings.
"What the hell are you!?" Another Showa shouted.
"You can call me the Angel of Death!" Alice exclaimed as she threw a barrage of fireballs at Another Showa but she countered with her own fireballs. Alice was hit and she burst into flames. Another Showa believed she managed to put down one of the interlopers when Alice casually stepped out the flames unharmed. Suddenly, Another Showa was thrown back by a bolt of lightning.
"That's for Shinichi!" Lina shouted as her hands crackled with electricity.
Yami rushed at Another Showa, her hands morphed into swords. She slashed at the Another Rider who recoiled from the sharp blades. Yami's next slash successfully landed.
"And that's for my daughter," Yami added, still upset about almost losing Alice.
[TIME MAZINE!]
Alan's Time Mazine GL flew into the battle and converted into its humanoid battle mode. It had a similar build to a standard Time Mazine but sported a metallic green and black colour scheme. A black circle with the Green Lantern symbol was in the centre of its chest and its head resembled a large Green Lantern Power Ring.
Rosa stood in the Time Mazine GL's cockpit, gripping the controls while Maria was strapped into a seat beside her mother. As a fashion designer, Rosa was never trained for combat. However, when given the opportunity and the right equipment, she was a force to be reckoned with. She was very handy with a shotgun after all.
"Alright, let's go!" Rosa yelled, pushing the controls.
"Go get her, Mama!" Maria cheered.
The Time Mazine GL grabbed Another Showa and smashed her to the ground, bashing her repeatedly before sending her flying with a kick. Another Showa crashed to the ground in pain from the blow.
"That'll teach you to change the timeline!" Rosa gloated. She was enjoying this. After all, Viviana's actions could have seriously rewritten her and Maria's life. She also had a baby with Yuji who was sleeping peacefully in a crib in the TARDIS. A baby that could have been erased because of Viviana's foolishness.
"Kihihihihihihihi! Serves you right!" Maria laughed as she blew a raspberry.
Picking herself up, Another Showa looked at them all in frustration as they were interfering with her plan to make sure BLACK 13 was never born. Could they not understand that this was for the good of the world? She was trying to stop a monster from being born! Why couldn't they see that!?
If they were so determined to get in her way, then the world didn't need them either!
"GET OUT OF MY WAY!" Another Showa screamed as she unleashed a massive attack, throwing plasma blasts, fireballs, lightning bolts and shadow kunai at them. Unfortunately for her, her attack failed to connect as a thick earth wall rose up to block it.
Daiki smirked as he clasped his hands together and used his geokinesis to create a giant pair of stone dragon jaws under Another Showa's feet. He snapped them shut like a bear trap, trapping her between the jaws.
"Argh! Get this thing off me!" Another Showa screamed as she struggled to break free. "Let me go! Let me go, verdammt!"
Alice, Yuji, Lina, Sora and Jade blasted Another Showa at the same time, silencing her. After taking all those attacks and sustaining so much damage, Another Showa was on her last leg.
"Alan, finish her now!" Jade shouted.
"Alright!" Alan strapped on the Scada Buckle and pulled on the ripcord. "Henshin!"
The fan of the Scada Buckle spun rapidly, releasing energy that materialized a Rider suit over Alan, transforming him into Kamen Rider Scada. Scada wore a black bodysuit with camouflage armour on his chest, shoulders, forearms and shins. His helmet shared the same colour scheme with a pair of short antennae, blue compound eyes and a green faceplate.
He pulled on the Scada Buckle's ripcord again and released it, spinning the fan and unleashing the armour's full power. The power gathered in his legs and he jumped into the air to propel himself at Another Showa to deliver a flying kick.
"RIDER KICK!"
Green energy burst from Scada's foot as his Rider Kick connected and Another Showa screamed as she exploded. The Anotherwatch which was the source of her power was ejected from her body before it shattered, causing her to revert to human form. Daiki released her from the stone dragon jaws and she collapsed to the ground, defeated and powerless.
"It's over," Alan concluded, disengaging the Scada suit as everyone gathered around Viviana.
"It's almost sad, really," Jade spoke as she looked down at Viviana. Viviana turned her head as much as she could to face her. "You remind me of my brother. A while ago he was in the same position you are in now. He was filled with nothing but hate and rage towards someone who had no control over a tragedy that affected him too, and he refused to believe he tried to make things right. He ended up joining a criminal organization just to try and kill him." Jade's face scrunched as she glared. "But at least he had enough sense to not screw up the timeline like you did."
"But... I was only trying to... save..." Viviana groaned before she passed out.
Back in the present, the beam-o-war was still going strong when all of a sudden ReVenge froze up, her armour glitching up as she grunted.
"What...what is happening...?"
As her beam weakened, Showa felt himself becoming stronger and this was reflected in his armour. The Legacy Armour remained the same but the gold and silver suit underneath had changed. Instead of his Classic form, it now used his Chronicle form as the base. The bodysuit became a dark navy blue before it darkened into a midnight blue hue as the electric blue meridians that decorated his suit turned gold and the twin blue scarves he wore turned silver. The silver toes of the boots and greaves turned gold while the cobalt blue gauntlets remained the same colour but the blue gems inside the gauntlets were now silver quartz as the silver bands around his wrists turned gold. Last but not least was his helmet as its hue changed to a lighter shade of blue while his compound eyepieces shifted to a shade reminiscent of rubies. Attached to the brow of his helmet was a pair of sharp gold antennae that resembled clock hands. In the middle of his helmet, just above his brow, was a glowing silver sphere.
This was Kamen Rider Showa Chronicle Legacy.
As soon as the change occurred, he spread his Void Wings and poured more power into his Chronicle Strife attack, firing energy from his entire body. The boosted Chronicle Strife overpowered ReVenge's beam, negating it completely and Showa's gigantic beam surged straight towards her.
"AAAARRRGGGHHHHH!" ReVenge screamed, her vision filled by a bright blue light before she was violently struck by Showa's beam. His Chronicler Strife completely vaporized her collection of Ridewatches, reducing them to nothing. She then exploded, her whole body engulfed in a huge fireball that resulted in a tall mushroom cloud.
Showa ceased his attack when ReVenge exploded. As the last of the embers died and the smoke and dust cleared, Viviana was revealed. She was injured and kneeling in a scorched crater. Miraculously, she survived thanks to the power of the Anotherwatch she carried inside her but she was completely stripped of her armour. Her Ziku-Driver and Ridewatch were also damaged beyond repair, the latter already crumbling to pieces.
"You've lost, Eisenberg! Just surrender the Anotherwatch so we can make things right again!" Showa said as he approached her.
"Shinichi!" Zi-O yelled as he and Decade found him. They saw Shotaro's body and realized what had happened.
"She killed him," Decade concluded angrily before he addressed Viviana. "You know, I've fought some self-entitled assholes before but you have got to be one of the biggest ones of all! It isn't enough that you killed his parents to get back at him but now this whole world will be destroyed because of you!"
"...The whole world will be destroyed... because of me?" Viviana questioned in confusion. "What are you talking about?"
"You tried to change an absolute fixed point in time," Showa answered. "By killing my mother and preventing my birth, you broke time with a catastrophic paradox. The earthquakes we've been experiencing are a sign that this timeline is collapsing. Soon, there won't be anything left of this world."
"No..." Viviana shook her head in denial. "No, it's not true. It can't be true! You're lying!"
"Just listen for once, Eisenberg! The world you created was never meant to exist and now it's going to be destroyed because you tried to mess with the timeline!" Showa rebuked.
"And you don't even seem to care! That makes you an even bigger monster than you accuse him of being!" Decade pointed out.
"No...no I'm not a monster! I'm not a monster! I'm not!" Viviana denied, screaming hysterically. "You bastards! WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE!?"
"We're just a team of Kamen Riders who are passing through!" Decade declared, pointing at her. "Remember that!"
Viviana could not believe that she had been defeated. It just wasn't fair! This was supposed to be her world. Her parents were supposed to be alive and BLACK 13 was supposed to be gone. Sadly, the universe saw it fit to screw her over and allow BLACK 13 to exist while her parents remained dead.
She would not allow things to end like this. No, she would not allow BLACK 13 and his merry band of Riders to defeat her. And she would not allow this world to exist any longer. This world was not the one she had in mind when she murdered Shiori Banabara to prevent the birth of a monster. This world was ruled by tyrants and she had become part of it!
Since she created this world, it was only fair that she destroyed it. BLACK 13 claimed this world was doomed from the beginning so she might as well speed up the process.
"AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" screaming in anguish,Viviana morphed into her monstrous Another Rider form. Sensing her intense desire to destroy everything, the Anotherwatch triggered another horrific transformation.
The Riders watched as a green opaque sphere completely engulfed Another Showa, separating them from her. The sphere gradually grew in size until it completely dwarfed them. It now looked like some kind of giant egg. Cracks spread rapidly across the egg's surface before it hatched, revealing the monstrous abomination hidden underneath.
Another Showa had been reborn as a giant cicada kaiju. From the waist down, her monstrous upper torso was attached to the thorax of an equally monstrous biomechanical cicada which shared her colour scheme and had eyes that resembled large clocks with rapidly rotating hands. She also sported two sets of wings. The first set was attached to her shoulder blades while the second set was part of the monstrous cicada body she was attached to.
She was now Another Showa Ω.
She roared as her wings buzzed, releasing an energy wave that spread out all across the city and turned the buildings into dust.
"What's going on!?" Zi-O cried as he braced himself against the energy wave.
"She's erasing this world," Decade realized as more buildings crumbled to dust from accelerated decay. Showa looked at the monstrous Another Showa Ω and clenched his fists. Instead of the hours they had left, they now had moments before the entire world was erased from existence.
"Guys, let's finish this," Showa decided. Viviana was too far gone now and needed to be stopped, no matter the cost.
"Let's do it," Zi-O nodded and as soon as he agreed, a blank Ridewatch in his possession glowed. He took it out and watched it change into a black and white Ridewatch with Showa's face in the centre.
[SHOWA!]
"Don't forget me," Decade added.
[TYRANO MAX! GAAAOO~!]
"Me too," Jura growled once he transformed again.
"Right! Kamen Riders, all together!" Showa commanded as he invoked the power of the Legendary Showa Riders. "It's all or nothing so give it everything you've got!"
Zi-O placed the Showa Ridewatch into the Decade Ridewatch's slot. His body pixelated as it drew power from the Ridewatch to initiate the change.
[FINAL FORM TIME: K-K-KAMEN RIDER!]
There were minor aesthetic changes to his suit, mainly his bodysuit which now matched Showa's original classic black and white colour scheme. The katakana across his chest and left shoulder read 'Classic' while Showa's name was written across his right shoulder in katakana. The faceplate displayed on his touchscreen visor also changed to resemble Showa Classic.
This was Kamen Rider Zi-O Decade Armor Showa Form.
[FINISH TIME!]
Zi-O plugged the Decade Ridewatch into the sword's golden crown slot and spun the clock hand three complete revolutions.
[HEY, KAMEN RIDERS! HEI, SEI! HEI, SEI! HEI, SEI! HEI, SEI! HE-HE-HEI! HEI, SEI! HEI, SEI! HEI, SEI!]
The sword sang its standby jingle as the Heisei Rider Symbols on the blade lit up, charging the Ride Heisaber with the power of the Heisei Riders.
[DANGER: METEOR EXTINCTION! GAAAOO~!]
Jura delivered a flying scissor kick as energy gathered around his legs to form a giant T-Rex head. As he struck, the T-Rex head chomped on Another Showa Ω, causing her to recoil.
"THE GAME ENDS NOW!" Zi-O screamed as he pulled the trigger and swung his Ride Heisaber, releasing the energy that had built up inside the blade.
[DE-DE-DE-DECADE! HEISEI RIDERS! ULTIMATE TIME BREAK!]
He delivered a rainbow energy slash, powered by a set of large holographic cards. The explosive slash cut right through Another Showa Ω, causing her to stagger on her six legs. However, her suffering was not over yet.
Decade took the K-Touch off his belt and rapidly tapped the icons.
[KUUGA! AGITO! RYUKI! FAIZ! BLADE! RANKI! CAUCASUS! DEN-O! KIVA! DOUBLE! OOO! FOURZE! WIZARD! GAIM! DRIVE! GHOST! EX-AID! BUILD!]
"Come on out! Everyone!"
[FINAL KAMEN RIDE: ULTIMATE! SHINING! SURVIVE! BLASTER! KING! ARMED! HYPER! LINER! EMPEROR! XTREME! PUTOTYRA! COSMIC! INFINITY! KIWAMI! TRIDORON! MUGEN! MUTEKI! GENIUS!]
He summoned the Kamen Riders in their Ultimate Forms and activated the Final Attack Ride card.
[FINAL ATTACK RIDE: ALL R-R-R-RIDERS!]
Ultimate Kuuga jumped into the air and reared his fist back as it lit up in flames. He threw down his earth-shattering Rider Punch on the monster's head, the force of the punch was enough to knock her backwards.
Shining Agito delivered a slash with his twin Shining Calibur. The twin energy slashes sliced into her body, spilling sparks and blood.
Ryuki Survive struck with a flaming cross slash. At the same time, he sent his contracted Mirror Monster Dragranzer to bombard her with fireballs. He leapt onto his dragon's back and it roared as it transformed into a motorbike before they crashed into Another Showa Ω while wreathed in fire.
Faiz delivered his Photon Breaker Rider Slash with the Faiz Blaster as he flew straight ar Another Showa Ω. Converting the Faiz Blaster into its Photon Buster Mode, he fired bursts of photon energy that exploded against her carapace.
King Blade delivered his Royal Straight Flush attack. He swung his King Rouzer, sending a blast of energy through a row of human-sized holographic cards. The beam gained power before hitting Another Showa Ω in the chest.
Armed Ranki delivered a slash of pure cleansing fire with his Armed Saber. The tall blade of fire left a huge scorch mark across Another Showa Ω's exoskeleton.
Hyper Caucasus fired his Perfect Zecter with all Zecters combined. The tachyon energy beam blasted right through her left shoulder.
As an aura in the shape of the DenLiner appeared over him, Den-O rode swiftly on his train tracks and delivered his Densha Giri, his DenKamen Sword slicing across her body.
Emperor Kiva executed his Emperor Moon Break, the sharp energy wings on his feet hacked away at the Another Rider. He left his mark on the surface of Another Showa Ω's body as she howled in pain.
Double struck with his Double Xtreme. The tornado of power allowed him to strike with explosive force, almost knocking Another Showa Ω down.
OOO roared and slashed with her Medagaburyu in its Axe Mode as she flew across Another Showa Ω's face. She then quickly switched her weapon into Bazooka Mode and fired a blast of anti-desire energy that punched a hole right through Another Showa Ω's chest.
Fourze soared through the air like a rocket and delivered the Rider Cosmic Finish with his Barizun Sword. The cosmic energy slash dealt significant damage and Fourze pumped his fist.
Wizard twirled his AxeCalibur above his head and it grew in size until it was gigantic. He leapt and struck with his enlarged AxeCalibur, the Shining Strike nearly cleaving Another Showa Ω in half.
Gaim brought out his Musou Saber and Daidaimaru as a text box with the words [Starburst Stream] appeared over his head and rushed around Another Showa Ω, slashing her with a combo of sixteen lightning-quick and blinding hits, moving too fast for her to react in time and leaving gashes all over her body.
Drive fired the Trailer Cannon, hitting the kaiju with an energy blast in the shape of his car. The projectile roared as it crashed into her. He also bombarded her with dozens of tire-like energy constructs which exploded on impact.
"Getsuga Jūjishō!" Ghost shouted as he unleashed dual rainbow spiritual energy slashes that quickly combined into a cross. The energy cross tore through Another Showa Ω and while it failed to send her to oblivion, it still caused a significant amount of damage to the kaiju.
Ex-Aid delivered a flurry of slashes with herGashacon Key Slasher. The sparkling energy slashes left golden gashes across Another Showa Ω's body as each strike caused the word 'PERFECT!' to pop up. She then warped around, trailing gold as she delivered a series of kicks, landing explosive hits that were 'PERFECT!' as well.
In the sky above Build, a green field full of swords could be seen with a starry night in the backdrop. From this field of blades, Build summoned multiple swords and shot them down, bombarding Another Showa Ω with a barrage of legendary blades. Then he jumped into the air and shot down as his leg glowed with rainbow Nebula Energy, delivering a dropkick into her face.
Finally, Decade executed his Complete Dimension Kick. As he leapt into the air, the Ultimate Riders flashed and turned into their insignias which lined up to form a path between the Destroyer of Worlds and his target. Delivering a flying kick, Decade propelled himself through the symbols, his velocity rising before he struck. The explosive impact of the blow brought Another Showa Ω to her knees.
As Decade landed, he slotted two more cards into a Decadriver.
"And here's a special appearance!"
[FINAL ATTACK RIDE: AMAZON O-O-OMEGA! AMAZON A-A-ALPHA!]
Two more Riders with an appearance reminiscent of Kamen Rider Amazon, one in green and another in red, appeared out of nowhere and savagely struck Another Showa Ω with brutal punches and claw slashes. With the brutality of beasts, they both continued attacking the large monster before delivering dual kicks.
"And one more!" Decade said as he slipped in one last card.
[FINAL ATTACK RIDE: D-D-DAI RYUJIN!]
A second Gaim in jade dragon-themed armour and a black cape appeared from the air and dropped down to deliver a powerful electrified Dragon Slash with his sword. He struck like a thunderbolt and Another Showa Ω roared in pain.
The summoned Riders vanished once their task was complete as they dealt critical damage to Another Showa Ω. Using her chronokinesis, she tried to heal her injuries but it was a slow process.
It was Showa's turn to deliver the next wave of attacks. He summoned Ichigo, Nigo, ZO, Skyrider and V3 and together they delivered a Sextuple Rider Kick, knocking Another Showa Ω back with explosive kicks. As he hovered in the air, he summoned Amazon and Shin next and they struck with Rider Chops that caused sparks to blast off the kaiju, ripping a shriek out of her.
Showa summoned Stronger and Super-1 next and together they fired their elemental attacks. Super-1 froze Another Showa Ω solid with his Thermal Hands' cryospray, immobilizing it, allowing Showa to hurl concussive airblasts and rain explosive fireballs down on her. Then, together with Stronger, Showa brought a massive lightning bolt of Heavenly Wrath down upon her. She screamed and convulsed as she was electrocuted. Since Showa could feel the power of the Tsukumogami spirits inside him once more, that meant Alan was successful in the past.
ZX was summoned next and both he and Showa hurled Cross Shuriken that multiplied into a flurry thanks to Zennin's power. The multiplied Cross Shuriken struck Another Showa Ω and exploded, causing her to scream again. She broke free of the ice keeping her in place and fired her optic blasts at Showa. He summoned the Shield of Glen and erected a barrier that protected him. He wielded the Sword of Ascalon with the Higurashi no Yaiba as he summoned Black RX, RX Biorider, and Kamen Rider X.
Showa dropped the barrier and lunged with the Riders to slash Another Showa Ω, violently ripping sparks off her body. Landing on the ground, Showa summoned RX Roborider and Riderman with the Blaster Arm. Equipping himself with their weapons too, Showa fired at Another Showa Ω, with Roborider and Riderman's help, sending the kaiju backpedalling with explosive potshots. She was about to retaliate when Kamen Rider J suddenly appeared before her in his gigantic Jumbo Formation and caught her wrist. Then, the giant Rider punched her across the face and knocked her to the ground.
The summoned Showa Riders all disappeared once their task was complete. After taking all that damage, Another Showa Ω was on her last leg.
"This is the final blow," Decade said as inserted the Final Attack Ride card with Showa's symbol shining on its face into his Decadriver's core unit, causing the cards across his chest to flip and display Showa Legacy's headshot as he prepared to deliver his finisher too.
[FINAL ATTACK RIDE: SHO-SHO-SHOWA!]
"For Tou-chan and Kaa-chan," Showa vowed. His Void Wings spread out behind him before he and Decade leapt into the air together, joined by Jura and Zi-O as well. As they reached the apex of their jump, spectral images of the Showa and Heisei Riders appeared around them in a circle.
"RIDEEEEEER SYNDROOOOOOOOME!"
Flying towards Another Showa Ω, the four Riders performed dropkicks as the spectral Showa and Heisei Riders merged to create a gigantic golden Kamen Rider energy construct around them. Driven by desperation, Another Showa Ω fired a beam of nuclear power from her mouth at the giant construct but it proved to be ineffective as it only powered through her attack.
Roaring, the gigantic Rider construct delivered a flying kick. In a last-ditch effort to defend itself, Another Showa Ω tried to counter with a punch. Unfortunately for Another Showa Ω, the Rider Syndrome effortlessly broke through her counterattack and struck the Another Rider dead centre in the chest.
"DAMN IT ALL TO HELL!" Another Showa Ω screamed as she exploded like a megaton bomb. From the explosion, a wave of energy swept across the world. Neo Hinamizawa City faded away and the village of Hinamizawa returned in its place. Shotaro's body also disappeared as he did not belong in this timeline.
The Riders assembled after the final blow was delivered.
"Looks like the timeline's been restored," Zi-O smiled as the city was back to being a village again. "We did it, Sempai!"
"We sure as hell did," Decade agreed when he found Jura missing. "I guess Shinjiro got booted back to the future after everything was said and done." He looked over at Showa. "So what's with the new look?" Showa ignored him as he walked over to Viviana so he could resolve some unfinished business.
Showa stood before Viviana who lay defeated in front of him. Clutched in her hand was her Showa Anotherwatch. As she weakly clicked its activation button, the device sparked before shattering to pieces. She knew she had lost but she was still defiant as she glared hatefully at Showa.
"Well, what are you waiting for!? Kill me! Do it! Do it, I dare you!" Viviana shouted.
Showa did not need further prompting as he threw a punch. Viviana's eyes squeezed shut as his punch flew past her head and he drove his fist into the ground beside her. Her eyes widened as she looked straight into his ruby eyes.
He was tempted, sorely tempted, to make her pay for all she had done to him. While he understood her pain and motive, she had taken things too far. She needed to be punished for her crimes.
And yet, despite everything she had done, he didn't hate her. He pitied her instead. She wasn't evil. She was just a girl who was in so much pain that all she could do was lash out.
"No," Shinichi exhaled as he disengaged his armour and withdrew his arm. "I won't kill you."
"So you're going to lock me away again?" Viviana demanded. "I'll just break out again and then you'll be sorry!"
"No, you won't," Shinichi stretched his wings and narrowed his eyes as they glowed electric blue. "Because I have something much better in mind for you."
Viviana's eyes widened in horror as her face paled, blue light bathing her terrified features.
END OF ACT 9
Dr. KRC: And so ends the battle with Viviana Eisenberg. However, this is not yet the end of the arc. We have one more chapter.
So, a lot of things happened here. I was actually inspired by the Season One Finale of Legends of Tomorrow when the heroes decided to defeat Viviana in the past and present. It was basically how the Legends defeated Savage for good, by killing him in major points of his timeline at the same time. Now, you may complain that the Another Ridewatch should not have survived in the present after being destroyed in the past, but remember that it has Shinichi's powers so it was able to maintain itself. It just wasn't stable, hence why ReVenge weakened and glitched. Shinichi also revealed he can be one scary motherfucker as he gave her a beating. A beating she deserved. Yes, Shinichi killed her parents but it was no excuse for what she did. Also, the final scene where Viviana became a giant monster akin to Another Kuuga and Another Ichigo was a new addition. At first, it wasn't supposed to be like that but I think that she's so desperate to win she decides to become a real monster. Oh, and she decides to destroy the world that she made. I mean, her parents are still dead and her goal was to either avenge them or bring them back. Since she failed to save their lives, well, her only choice now was to just erase everything. And the final battle with Another Showa Ω showed the full might of the Kamen Riders as wave after wave they attacked with great force.
Another thing worth mentioning is that this also changes the story of how Shinichi was born. The story of his birth was originally told in Kamen Rider X Green Lantern: The Legacy of Cain, Part 20: The Cobra's Revenge. In that story, Shinichi was born on a Ferris wheel when it got stuck and was named after the Ferris wheel operator named Shinji Akari who managed to get it running again. There's also a story I posted in my KR Chrome's Anthology: A Compilation of Oneshots. It's called Naming Your Son After...Your Son? It's chapter 143 and it retcons how Shinichi got his birth name.
