The encounter with Headmaster Dumbledore proved to be an extraordinary and enlightening experience.

This time, I wasn't just meeting a Headmaster presenting an admission letter to a prospective student; I was face-to-face with the most powerful man in Europe, wielding immense political influence and magical powers.

During the meeting, after exchanging customary greetings, the headmaster handed me a loosely wrapped gift as a birthday present. Following some casual conversation, he unveiled a revelation: despite my status as a lord, he emphasized his role as our Magical Guardian, affirming his commitment until we reach the age of majority, which is 17, unless circumstances warrant a change by the will of Mother Magic. As My Magical Guardian he is also entitled as the proxy for my seats within the Magical Wizengamot until I turn 21.

He further explained that due to his role as the Chief Warlock in the Wizengamot, he couldn't personally serve as my proxy. Hence, someone, with our mutual consent, would need to act as his replacement, representing my interests in his stead.

However, a cloud loomed over our discussion when I mentioned Black Lordship.

Dumbledore's expression shifted, worry etched on his face. He spoke of the conflicting roles I held – the leadership of House Black within the Dark Faction, and my standing as Lord of House Potter within the Light Faction. The Dark faction lords won't accept me as their leader, even though I'm the Lord of House Black. Meanwhile, the Lords of the Light Faction won't support someone associated with the Dark faction.

His words carried immense weight, highlighting the gravity of the situation. House Black's historical ties as Voldemort's supporters posed a looming threat to my reputation, despite my role as the savior of the magical world. The media would seize upon this vulnerability, amplifying doubts and fears in the public eye.

Complicating matters further, the Malfoy family aimed to leverage House Black's Lordship for further increase House Malfoy standing, primarily relying on Draco Malfoy as the sole future candidate for the position. However, upon the revelation of my identity as the true Lord Black, Lucius Malfoy will be set to tarnish my name and seize control of the Black Lordship. He's willing to go to extreme lengths, even resorting to murder, to force me to renounce the Black Lordship and secure their hold on the position through Draco. These developments pose a significant threat to my reputation and standing within wizarding community.

In mere days of my official return in Wizarding World, I would be painted as a potential Dark Lord in the making. The erosion of my political power will directly diminish the standing of both House Potter and House Black. Opportunistic lords will exploit this situation to bolster their own influence, widening the gap between their power and ours.

Even my parents' sacrifices and my status as a national hero won't shield me from this fallout. The wizarding populace will remain reluctant to accept a Pureblood wizard from a family associated with blood supremacy, despite the other half of my family being among the most revered in the light side.

My mother's status as a Muggleborn will be twisted into a narrative suggesting it was part of a long-term scheme by my family to manipulate and ultimately rule the Wizarding world.

Headmaster Dumbledore believes he can navigate through the onslaught of negative press and counter the schemes devised against me. However, despite his efforts, my influence will be drastically curtailed, hanging by a thread. The stakes are dire—a minor mistake on my part could prove to be fatal, exacerbating the already precarious situation I find myself in.

The optimal approach appears to be a strategic suppression of any information regarding my status as Lord Black. Utilizing the upcoming three years until I reach legal majority becomes crucial—a window of opportunity to enhance both my political sway and magical prowess.

This period is vital for bolstering my influence to a level where I can effectively counteract the looming negative repercussions that would arise upon publicly announcing my identity as Lord Black. Strategically investing this time in honing my skills and expanding my influence is imperative to withstand the tumult that unveiling my true status would bring.

Following our discussion, the headmaster delved into the intricacies of my living accommodations and ensuring protection for both Aster and myself against potential threats. He went to great lengths, even suggesting the implementation of a Fidelius Charm at which seeing our lost face he shed light on its profound secrecy, emphasizing its role in concealing information or locations from everyone except the designated Secret Keeper. As he elaborated further, detailing the spell's mechanism, its power became more apparent—it rendered the hidden information or location impervious to detection or access by anyone else unless the Secret Keeper chose to divulge it. The gravity of this protective enchantment deepened as he drew a chilling parallel to its use by my parents, who employed it to shield themselves from the menace of Dark Lord Voldemort and his followers. However, their trust was betrayed by Sirius Black, my Godfather and uncle, who served as their Secret Keeper—a haunting reminder of the fragility of such safeguards and the potential consequences of misplaced trust. A profound measure of security, with himself as the secret keeper. His meticulous planning and dedication to safeguarding our well-being underscored the seriousness of the dangers that loomed over us, emphasizing the gravity of the situation we can face.

In the recesses of my mind, a sense of secrecy and paranoia sparked doubts about how much trust I could place in the headmaster. Yet, these doubts were swiftly quashed as a recollection surfaced regarding the ancient role of magical guardians which I read within the confines of Black library. The concept echoed a fundamental truth: the duty of a magical guardian transcends mere protection; it binds both the guardian and the ward in an unbreakable pact, compelling them to act solely in the best interest of their charge. Any deviation towards malevolent intentions could trigger grave repercussions. Reflecting on this profound aspect of Mother Magic's workings, I realized anew the intricate and often mysterious ways in which magic shapes the bonds between protectors and those under their care.

The staggering revelation that Aster is not just my adopted sister but also shares a blood relation with me as my aunt's daughter, essentially making her my cousin, left me utterly astounded. The intricate web of familial ties, interwoven with both blood and the bonds forged through adoption, created a complex and unexpected connection that shook the foundations of what I had understood about our relationship. The revelation redefined the depth of our kinship, blurring the lines between blood ties and the familial love we already shared, leaving me in a state of profound disbelief and reevaluation of our connection.

Headmaster strongly emphasized the need to safeguard Aster, especially considering the vulnerability she might face while being left alone at home once I commence my studies at Hogwarts. Acknowledging the potential risks her presence at Hogwarts could pose as a leverage against me, it was deemed the wisest course of action for her to pursue her magical education at a different school starting the following year. However, the immediate concern of leaving her alone this year remained unresolved. To address this, the headmaster proposed reaching out to my Aunt Andromeda Tonks, who had been ostracized from the Black family due to her defiance of a marriage contract and her subsequent union with a muggleborn. Despite her estrangement, her status as family could provide a temporary solution to ensure Aster's safety and well-being during the upcoming year.
