And now here's Chapter 2! My updates may be slow but unlike most FanFiction users, I am NOT going to disbanded y'all, unless I lost interest, which I will not! Now we are now on Chapter 2, where Kate and Humphrey come in!
About a few years later on another side of town, Kate Wilson lives in an apartment with some scary white eye monsters. It was real late at night and she was in bed with Humphrey Foster, a guy who she "hangs out" with. They were in bed after their love session, while having rock music in the background. Kate was in a nightgown and Humphrey was just in his boxers. Humphrey turns his head to Kate. "Hey…" He said. Kate turned her head to him and Humphrey scooted closer to her. "What are the chances we go again?" He asked. "Um… Slim to none." Kate said. "How about that?" she added. "So…that's a no?" Humphrey asked. "It's a no." Kate said as she pushed Humphrey face away and got out of bed. "I'm going to take a shower." she added. "Maybe I can join you…" Humphrey said. "You'll smell like girly soap" Kate said as she entered the bathroom. Humphrey chuckled and then continued laying down.
A few moments later, Kate turned off her shower and grabbed a towel that was hanging by the curtains. She wrapped herself in the towel and then got out of the shower. She squeezed her hair a little bit and then walked up to her mirror. She looks at herself for a while and then hears snoring from the bedroom. She went into the bedroom and saw Humphrey was sleeping in her bed. "Hey!" she said as she snapped her fingers in front of his face. After that didn't work, she started squeezing his face. "Hey! Marathon Man!" she yelled. "I'm up!" Humphrey said as he was now fully awake. "Don't think you're saying." Kate said as she went to her dresser to get her clothes. "Kate, Come on, just one night." Humphrey said. "No." Kate answered. "So you are making me leave in the middle of the night?" Humphrey said. "You're gonna be okay. You're not a puppy." Kate said. "I thought I was your boyfriend." Humphrey said. Kate turned to him with a confused look. "Boyfriend? Who said anything about "boyfriend?" she said as Humphrey also looked at her with a confused look. "Uh, you're a guy, the only guy that I've been seeing." Kate said. "But it's been eight months." Humphrey said. "Really? Eight months?" Kate asked. Humphrey nodded. "Wow, that officially puts you in first place!" Kate said as she grabbed her clothes and then went back to the bathroom to get dressed. "How about I keep a pair of jeans here?" Humphrey asked. "Nope." Kate said. "A sock? Just one sock." Humphrey said. "What are you going to do with one sock?" Kate asked. "So is that a yes?" Humphrey asked with a cheeky smile. "No! Get out! I got to work in the morning!" Kate said. "It's not like having a sock to get rid of me. Socks are not anchors." Humphrey said. "Ok, I'll see you tomorrow at the gig. Can we leave it like that?" Kate asked. Humphrey was now fully dressed…well almost. He took his sock off and quickly opened Kate's top drawer and placed the and then hid with the clothes in the drawer and then shut it. "Are you still here?" Kate asked as Humphrey quickly grabbed his leather coat as Kate came out, fully dressed and started pushing him to the front door. Humphrey opened the door and then went into the apartment hallway and then turned around to Kate. "You know, one of these days you gonna have to let me-" Kate interrupted him with a quick kiss on the lips. "Bye." Kate said quickly as she quickly shut the door. "Love you, too." Humphrey said, disappointed before walking away.
Humphrey was now walking out of the apartment building walking past a tattoo shop and to his car. "Hey sexy." Kate yelled from her apartment window, looking down at Humphrey. Humphrey looked up at Kate and then smiled. "I like you. A lot." Kate said. "Is that all?" Humphrey said, while still smiling. "No. There is one more thing." Kate said before throwing Humphrey's sock out of the window and then Humphrey caught it and both shared a chuckle. "So close." Humphrey said before turning around to his car. Kate then leaned back out of the window and then left it open as she went to her bedroom and went to bed.
On the other side of town, there was a huge brown house. Winston used to live there with Eve and Lily, but now that he died, it was just Eve and Lily. It was late at night, Lily was wide awake with the lights on because she couldn't get any sleep from seeing things at night. She couldn't explain what it was but all she knew was that it scared her so much, it prevented her from sleeping. She started hearing voices from the hallway that sounded like her mom, Eve. "Mom?" Lily said. She got off her bed and then walked slowly towards her door, which was already cracked open and saw Eve's bedroom door open. Lily opened her door fully and started walking slowly towards her mother's bedroom. "Mom?" she said again. When she made it to Eve's bedroom, she saw her pacing back and forth, facing the closet. "I just don't know what to do. I'm sorry. I really don't…" Eve said, facing the closet. "Mom?" Lily said. Eve turned to Lily and then smiled. "Hey Lily, what's up? You okay?" Eve asked. Lily looked at her closet and saw nothing and then looked back at her mom. "Did we wake you?" Eve asked. Lily was now confused. "What?" she said. Eve went up to her and placed her hand on her cheek. "You gotta go to bed, sweetie. The only ones that should be wandering the halls at this hour are grownups." Eve said to Lily. Lily took one last look at the closet and then exited the room and started heading to her room. She stopped in the middle of the hallway and then turned to her mom, who was standing at the door frame. "Goodnight, Lily." Eve said. An black creepy, sharp pair of hands was being revealed and then a head was popping up as the lights in Eve's room were flickering. Eve was smiling during this. Lily was now scared and then ran to her room, locked the door and jumped in her bed. Few seconds later, the door knob was moving around. Lily is now terrified, not wanting the monster to get in her room. The knob eventually stopped and throughout the whole night, Lily didn't sleep.
