Author's Note 1: Hello Everyone! Holy heavenly high, It's been a while since I last updated this story. I've been trying to get back in the groove of writing and continuing Godzilla: Titans Among Us. I've just been so focused on other stories that I've been slowly dragged away from the Story that started it all. I hope that this chapter will make up for a lifetime of wait.
So here it is, the second chapter to Godzilla: Titans Among Us: Age of MechaGodzilla.
Arendelle Osprey…
Uriel, Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, and Bela had successfully captured Hans and got Gungnir. Bela was sitting on the floor. She had her hood down, her hairstyle was long, and it went all on one side with blonde hair. She had headphones in, listening to music. Right now she was listening to gentle music to keep herself calm.
Kristoff had his helmet off as he lied on the mattress in the middle of the Osprey. Anna was talking to him as she held his hand. Caressing his side, extremely gently. She giggled slightly after he made a joke.
Uriel was looking down at Gungnir. Examining it closely, but not too closely.
Elsa walked to Bela. She sat in front of her sitting with her legs up. Putting an arm over one of them.
Bela took off her headphones and set them to the side.
"Can you actually believe it," Elsa said calmly to Bela.
"Believe what?" Bela asked.
"We finally got it," Elsa said looking toward the Spear that laid on the desk in front of Uriel.
Bela looked back at it.
"Yeah, We did," Bela said.
"You don't seem all that excited about it, What's on your mind?" Elsa asked.
"It's just…For three hundred years I've been looking for The Spear. Every day I prayed and hoped that it would never fall into Evil's hands. Turns out…It was in the palm of their hands…this whole time," Bela said starting to feel some regret.
"They found it before you did, but now we have it, Evil lost today, That's a win for a good amount of us," Elsa said trying to cheer her up.
Bela thought about it for a moment or two.
She then gave a few slight nods.
"Yeah, you're right. We won today, no sense in gloping about it," Bela said as a smile grew on her face.
"That's my girl," Elsa said as she gave a slight pat on Bela's shoulder. Standing back up on her feet and walking back to Uriel.
Uriel was now pacing the floor back and forth.
Elsa crossed her arms and raised a brow, and a curious smile grew on her face.
"Alright, something seems to be worrying you," Elsa said. Uriel flinched as he turned his attention back to Elsa.
"Well, it's just…you know…Our child who hasn't even been born yet, I'm worried about them that's all," Uriel said.
"I've known you for eight years, Goji, married to you for five, yet, I've never seen you this worried about our unborn child," Elsa said as she walked over to him and hugged his arm.
Uriel let out a sigh.
"I mean…What if the pregnancy fails, and I'm left alone with no one," Uriel said.
"Goji, I'm not going anywhere, I'm not going to die in pregnancy, everything's gonna be fine, alright," Elsa tried to reassure Uriel that she will not die in pregnancy. Though she was only one month pregnant, why was he worried all of a sudden?
"I know you're only one month pregnant, but, I feel like you should take it easy for a little while, you know, just so the baby doesn't become like me," Uriel said, wanting Elsa to stay safe and healthy, instead of going around fighting a whole bunch of Monster-Zero Followers around the world.
"You know, sometimes, I don't feel like I'm going to be a very responsible Father," Uriel said. Elsa smiled a bit more as she brought him closer.
"A Good Father doesn't start off as a Good Father. We all learn, I'm still worried about being a Mother," Elsa said.
Uriel was realizing what Elsa was saying. She was right. No one starts off as a good father, especially a King. That's why he needs to make the best of it.
"You're right, Elsa, Taking care of our child is a parent's duty, Especially when they're the future of Titans and Humans Coexisting," Uriel said with a smile.
"There's that optimism," Elsa said as she placed a kiss on Uriel's cheek. Causing him to smile once more.
Uriel and Elsa then looked to Kristoff and Anna. Anna was still holding his hand, sort of having a private conversation. Uriel and Elsa then looked at each other. Elsa motioned her eyes toward her sister and brother-in-law. Uriel nodded his head as they both walked toward the two.
"How are you holding up, Kristoff?" Uriel asked as Kristoff turned his head toward them. Anna doing the same.
"The hardest hit I've taken in a few years," Kristoff said.
"Is that a good or a bad thing?" Elsa asked as she too got into the conversation.
This caused Kristoff to chuckle slightly. But when he did he clenched his side.
"Ow…Ow…Don't make me laugh," Kristoff said, clenching his side slightly.
"Queen Anna, Queen Elsa, We are approaching Arendelle," The SkyNet AI said on the Osprey.
The Osprey flew over a vast lake. It then stopped as it started hovering close to the water. The water below then started to separate, and a large opening was created right below the aircraft. Large enough for the Osprey to fit right through. The Osprey slowly hovered below the opening.
When the Osprey entered, there was a huge base underneath the entirety of Arendelle.
The Osprey hovers over a large platform as it descends closer to the bottom of it. The Osprey then lands as the propellers slowly die down, the back of the Osprey opened as medical SkyNet Robots came forward and got Kristoff on a stretcher. They escorted him to the medical room. Everyone began to leave the Osprey as General Harou came forward up the Osprey.
"Your Majesty, We've got news involving the two enhanced," Harou said to Elsa. Who was currently pressing a few buttons on the case that Gungnir was in.
"Oh, I'm not the Queen. She's right over there. I just encourage and carry stuff," Elsa said as a joke. Harou quickly took the Joke. Uriel walked off the Osprey as he went to check on Kristoff. Anna then walked to Harou as they walked on the bridge.
"So, what's the word on Hans?" Anna asked.
"SkyNet Robots picked him up and took him to Fort Dolugon, he'll be spending time there until his Brothers arrive," Harou said as they started walking into the actual building part of the Underground facility.
"The two enhancements?" Anna asked. Harou then handed Anna a tablet.
"Donahue Taragan and Cassandra Dimitrescu. History about the two is vague and how they came to know each other remains a mystery. But apparently, Cassandra is one of Bela's sisters, who currently has a criminal status for mass murder, sabotage, kidnapping of the King of England, etcetera," Harou said as they walked up some stairs.
"Their abilities?" Anna asked.
"Donahue Taragan is apparently from a long lost Blood Lineage of Maghumans, having abilities of Psionics which made them Supernatural and greatly unnatural in the eyes of the other Maghumans. Cassandra now has enhanced speed in all forms of mass when in her Insect swarm and Physical form. With a unique ability of chronal control of herself," Harou said. Anna looked at Harou as if he sounded like a nerd.
"He's Maghuman, and she's Dimitrescu," Harou said. Anna looked down at the tablet.
"Well, it won't be the last we've seen of them. How's Basia?" Anna asked as she pressed an elevator button.
"Keeping to herself mostly, she's really trying to stay off the radar. It's almost like someone really made her unhappy," Harou said as he leaned against the wall.
Anna shook her head.
"She still doesn't forgive me for what happened in Alatril," Anna said.
"I wonder why…" Harou said sarcastically and gave Anna a chuckle. Anna shook her head with a smile on it.
"Just try to reach out to her. We could always use more Heroes these days," Anna said.
"It's not like we're in a Dark Age now," Harou said.
"They are," Anna said as the elevator door closed.
In the Medical Room…
Kristoff was currently being healed by a strange yet unique artifact. The artifact was shaped like an egg. It glowed an angelic glow. Almost like the sun. It was sitting on a desk which is what it powered. The device was also a machine. Was spraying White Magic. Which was magic only meant for good.
The magic artifact was called. The Lifebinder. A mysterious artifact of the same architectural design and culture as Gungnir. The artifacts were creations of Gods. Beings of untold power beyond the concept of Reality and virtue materiality of life and the Omniverse as we know it. These Artifacts were two of thousands upon thousands that were created. Each one bears its own unique power and traits.
The Lifebinder had uncertain power. Only a Maghuman such as Elsa was able to touch such an object. But even then…the power that the artifact had was immense. Beyond any concept of power. Uriel could hold it with ease for some reason. Perhaps it is because he is a God himself.
The Lifebinder had a strange golden glimmer to it from the inside, almost like a power core. It was small, at least the size of a soccer ball, shaped like a mechanical egg. The metal that it was coated in looked similar to Bronze…but it was lightyears upon lightyears more durable and rare than any metal on Earth. It was not Viranium. That metal took a silver crystallized look. Anna's Katanas were an exception due to the fact they were forged on Earth. Creating a second variation of Viranium.
Kristoff's helmet sat to the side as his wound was getting patched up very quickly. Uriel stood over him, making sure his friend would make it through this.
Suddenly, Olaf came walking through the room with Sven in tow.
Sven was quite excited to see Kristoff return safely. Olaf was equally filled with joy. Olaf ran over to Uriel and hugged his leg.
"Hi, Uriel!" Olaf said, hugging his leg tightly. Uriel hugged Olaf back. Though he had to get down on one knee in order to do that. Due to his height difference. He was roughly 6' 11". And Olaf was only 2' 6".
"Good to see you too, ya little snowball," Uriel said hugging Olaf. Trying not to use too much of his strength.
Sven started licking Kristoff's face. Kristoff started laughing.
"Oh, hey boy, you're really excited to see me, huh?" Kristoff said.
"Oh, yes, Kristoff, I missed you so much, you got shot in the gut! I'll lick you in your face to make you feel better!" Kristoff said, speaking as if Sven were talking. Sven continued to lick Kristoff in the face.
Elsa then walked into the room. She put her hands on her hips and smiled.
Balu-Bae was currently in the room with them, analyzing a tablet as a few SkyNet robots did some mechanical and maintenance work on the underground base.
"Hey, Balu-Bae, Can I talk with you, I got something on my mind that I think you'll like," Elsa said to Balu-Bae. Catching his attention rather quickly.
"Ah, Your Majesty, what do you have in mind?" Balu-Bae said as he handed the tablet to a SkyNet robot, taking it and walking off. Elsa and Balu-Bae walked out of the Medical Room.
Balu-Bae's Main Lab…
Elsa and Balu-Bae walked into the large lab. Harou also joined in.
The Spear, Gungnir was currently sitting on a large table. Harou and Balu-Bae stepped into the middle of the room as Elsa turned around toward them.
"There's something on my mind and I can't keep it out any longer," Elsa said. Harou and Balu-Bae glanced at each other and then back to Elsa.
Elsa crossed her arms and started to walk around slowly.
"The thought of something like Ghidorah coming down at Earth…I can't shake it off," Elsa said. Harou and Balu-Bae glanced at each other once more.
"You…think someone…or something like Monster-Zero would attack Earth and take it for themselves?" Harou asked.
"If that were the case…then why bring it up now? It's been five years since Monster-Zero was defeated… permanently that is. So…Why bring this up now?" Balu-Bae asked, he too was quite intrigued about why Elsa was just now bringing this up.
Elsa looked at them. Trying to see if they could figure it out. She then glanced at Gungnir. Harou and Balu-Bae caught the glance. Both turned to the powerful artifact. Their mouths opened slightly. Harou turned to Elsa.
"You mean…you want us…to use that?" Harou asked. Elsa nodded her head with little reassurance.
"Look, I know it may sound crazy, but the spear is our best shot at making something that no outside threat could go against," Elsa said.
"Your Majesty…what you're asking…is very risky…this spear is a part of a technological design and origin that not even we can begin to understand," Balu-Bae said with slight concern.
"It's worth a shot, if we can find something in this spear, then we can use it against our enemies…We can live without fear and without worry," Elsa said.
Balu-Bae and Harou thought about it for a moment.
"I see an impenetrable armor around the world…This world…it's too vulnerable to leave like this…it's on the map…for all threats alike," Elsa said.
Harou and Balu-Bae glimpsed at each other once again, exchanging their looks. They could agree…this world…was on the Map. If something like Ghidorah could find it…cause this much chaos for hundreds of millions of years…They could not risk another being or threat like Ghidorah to ensue chaos in their home.
"Peace in our age…" Elsa said.
Harou and Balu-Bae thought about it for a long moment. After a long moment of silence. Both of them…nodded their heads in agreement.
Elsa's expression turned into satisfaction and relief.
Harou and Balu-Bae walked to Gungnir. They both pressed a few buttons and analyzed the spear.
"SkyNet, what exactly are we dealing with?" Balu-Bae asked about the AI system.
The Spear was then surrounded by holographic objects.
"The Spear is alien…There are elements I can't quantify…" The SkyNet AI system said.
"I suspect something there is something inside of it. Something powerful," The SkyNet AI system said. Elsa grew rather interested.
"Like a reactor?" Harou asked.
"Like a Computer…The Blade of the Spear seems to be the center of the Spear's power," The SkyNet AI said. Balu-Bae crossed his arm and started to rub his chin.
"Huh…Interesting," Balu-Bae said. Harou stepped back a little. Processing everything that was said.
"If we can somehow harness the energy inside of the Spear…we could use that to create Apex…" Harou said. Elsa and Balu-Bae winced at the name.
"Apex? I thought Apex was a fantasy?" Balu-Bae said.
"What's Apex?" Elsa asked, extremely confused about what the word "Apex" was.
Harou turned to Elsa.
"Apex was meant to be a part of Project: Revolution Evolution. But with the lack of supplies, technology, and power to create Apex…we all thought Apex was a fantasy…but, with the Spear Gungnir, we could make Apex a reality," Harou said with triumph and confidence.
"But…that still didn't answer my question…What is Apex?" Elsa asked.
"Apex was meant to be an Artificial Intelligence Program, meant to fight against the Titans. Originally it was Prince Hans's idea…But we were unable to make the program due to the lack of supplies and technology. Apex would track and monitor Titan Movement, create strategies against the threats, and hopefully avoid cataclysmic disasters caused by the creatures," Balu-Bae said, filling in on what the initial plan of Project: Revolution Evolution.
"So… it was a Titan hunting Program?" Elsa said, disapproving of the idea of Titans being hunted once more.
"Not hunt. Track. At the time, Titans were nearly unstoppable. Even with the newly found weapons. We were in need to devise a way to track and locate the Titans before they would attack nearby kingdoms," Harou said, reassuring Elsa that Apex was merely meant for monitoring Titans rather than Hunting.
"I have completed a full download of a holographic concept of the Energy inside the Spear," The SkyNet AI system said.
"Projecting it now," The SkyNet AI System said. The Room started to go dark as a large holographic image popped up.
Elsa, Harou, and Balu-Bae looked at it in awe. It was a purple color, but it was massive. It wasn't a human brain…it was almost ancient… godly… immeasurable…
Harou got closer to it and looked at it in awe.
"Look…at this…all this…knowledge…this…energy…this isn't a human brain…this is something…I mean look at this," Harou said. He was still astonished by the amount of power in the Spear.
Elsa looked at it more closely.
"Is that…a good thing?" Elsa said, trying to figure out how all this tech worked.
Balu-Bae stepped forward closer.
"Your Majesty…this is something that is beyond anything on Earth…It may as well be an Entity of Knowledge and Erudition…This is something that can make Apex…ten times over," Balu-Bae said with great admiration and amazement.
"Balu-Bae…let's get cracking on this thing," Harou said.
"Yes…of-...of course," Balu-Bae said as he and Harou started to try and figure out how to create Apex.
