15 years later…
Dr. Loomis and Wendy were in a car. Driving through the rain. Heading back towards Smith's Grove.
Wendy was driving as Dr. Loomis sat in the seat next to her.
"Sam, Should we talk about him?" Wendy asked reluctantly.
"Who?" Dr. Loomis said without looking at her.
Wendy let out a sigh.
"Michael," Wendy said.
"What of him?" Dr. Loomis asked.
"What are we going to do with him? It's been fifteen years and we still haven't issued a release for him, he deserves freedom," Wendy said as she smoked a cigar.
"Believe me, Wendy, I would've released him long before even a year passed. But no one seems to listen about Jason Voorhees being the true killer of Judith Myers." Dr. Loomis said.
"You know we can't keep him locked up forever, He's going to escape one day, and we can't lock him back up if he hasn't committed any crimes," Wendy said.
"I know. Michael is a strange yet unique boy. His hatred for Jason is a feeling that is difficult to compare to, even if Michael's been locked up for fifteen years," Dr. Loomis said. They started to pull up closer towards Smith's Grove as the fences could be seen.
They continued driving until they saw the inmates out of the building and out onto the grass.
"What are they doing out of here?" Wendy asked in surprise as the inmates continued to wander around. Dr. Loomis was now getting a bad feeling about what may have happened. The inmates couldn't have gotten out on their own. At least, not just a normal person.
"Pull up to the gate," Dr. Loomis said.
"Shouldn't we report this in?" Wendy asked in confusion.
"Just do as I say and pull up," Dr. Loomis said. Wendy did so obediently as she pulled up to the gate.
"Right here's good," Dr. Loomis said as he got out of the car and shut the door behind him. He then ran to a telephone booth as he tried to call The Authorities.
Right behind Wendy's vehicle, A man leaped up onto the top of the car causing it to shake slightly.
Wendy, curious to know what was on top, rolled down her window to look up at the top. Once she did she found no one there. She looked up for a few seconds then rolled up her window. She sat in the car for a few moments until a hand slowly started to line up with the passenger window. He then hit the glass causing Wendy to jerk towards the window. On instinct, she leaped out of the car and fell to the ground. The man then climbed into the driver's seat and put it in reverse.
Dr. Loomis noticed as he ran to the car.
"MICHAEL!" He shouted, but the car didn't slow as it then was put in drive and took off towards Haddonfield. Wendy was on the ground soaked from the dense rain.
Dr. Loomis then ran back to Wendy.
"Are you alright?" Dr. Loomis asked worriedly.
"I'm alright, I'm alright," Wendy replied back as she stayed sitting on the ground.
"Wait here," Dr. Loomis said as he ran back towards the telephone booth while Wendy tried to catch her breath as the storm continued.
Haddonfield, Halloween
It was no longer raining and the sun made its breaking point. Some kids were off trick or treating already. Others were off to school. Such as a specific one, by the name of Laurie Strode. She was a seventeen-year-old woman. She walked out of her house as she walked down the sidewalk. Her dad walked out as he went to his car.
"Laurie, make sure to drop off the key to The Myers house," He said.
"I will," Laurie said as she kept walking.
Laurie then walked around the corner of the sidewalk as she made her way to the Myers house. She walked for a few moments then crossed the street. She continued her way down the street. Just then a little boy ran down the sidewalk towards Laurie.
"Laurie!" He said as he ran down to Laurie.
"Hey, Tommy," Laurie replied back.
"You coming over tonight?" Tommy asked.
"Same time, same place," Laurie said as Tommy walked by her side.
"Can we make Jack o' Lanterns?" Tommy asked.
"Sure," Laurie said.
"Can we watch a monster movie?" Tommy asked yet again.
"Sure," Laurie replied.
"Can you read to me? Can we make popcorn?" Tommy said as he started walking backward-facing Laurie.
"Sure, sure, sure," Laurie said as she tickled Tommy, earning a laugh from both of them.
They continued to walk down the sidewalk.
It wasn't until they got up to the Myers house.
"You can't go up there," Tommy said as he tried to hold Laurie's arm.
"Watch me," Laurie said as she held up the key then made her way up the steps. She then put the key through the door tray. Then walked back to Tommy. Unbeknownst to her, A Shape stood in front of the door looking out through the top screen. The Shape watched her through the window as she and the young boy started to conversate.
"You're not supposed to go up there, Tonny Lamb said a lot of bad things happened there," Tommy warned Laurie. But Laurie paid no mind to it.
"Tonny Lamb won't make it out of sixth grade," Laurie said as they both walked down the sidewalk.
"I'm gonna go, see ya tonight," Tommy said as he took off. Laurie continued to walk down the sidewalk as she started to sing to herself. It was a gentle and calm song. But what she didn't know was that someone was watching her.
Michael walked out of the house as he watched Laurie walk down the sidewalk. Singing gently to herself. Michael tilted his head in admiration. That girl was beautiful, and she even went up to his doorstep without fear. He was feeling kinda weird at the moment. Like something sparked inside of him. Michael started to have an urge to protect her. He didn't even know her name but he still felt that it was right. He looked around to see if anyone else was near. From what it seemed, no one was around. But looks can be deceiving. Laurie continued to walk down the sidewalk, singing and humming to herself.
After she got to a certain distance. Michael walked to the car that he stole from the Nurse just last night. He got in and hotwired it. It started in just a few tries. Michael then put it into drive as he followed the girl he saw. He also tried not to be too suspicious or a stalker. He followed her from a distance in the car as she still didn't notice him.
Smith's Grove…
Dr. Loomis and another Nurse were walking down the hallway of Smith's Grove.
"How did he escape?" Dr. Loomis asked the Nurse.
"I don't know, He must've broken the glass and unlocked the door from the outside." The nurse said as they got to Michael's room. When they entered the room seemed in perfect condition other than a few papers scattered across the floor.
"Dr. Loomis, I think you need to see these," Another nurse said as she was cleaning up the room. She handed Dr. Loomis the papers.
Dr. Loomis looked at them, the front of the papers were usually just forms or paperwork of the other doctors, or himself. He flipped them over and found handwriting.
It said,
Don't stop me…I must have my Revenge….I will avenge Judith….
The words were rather large and somewhat written rather quickly.
That was what one paper said. He looked at the other two as they showed a very well-drawn picture of Judith Myers as she held little Michael in her arms. The other showed another neatly drawn Jason Voorhees.
"Doctor, have they caught him yet?" One of the nurses asked.
"No, but I know where he's going and He's going to need my help," Dr. Loomis said as he opened the door and walked out down the hallway.
"Dr. Wynn is waiting for you, Doctor," One nurse shouted down through the hall.
Dr. Loomis made it outside as his Colleague, Dr. Wynn walked next to him.
"I'm not responsible, Sam," Dr. Wynn said to Loomis.
"Oh No," Dr. Loomis said sarcastically.
"I told them how dangerous he was," Dr. Wynn replied.
"You couldn't have told two rotting bullets that wouldn't stop a five-year-old," Dr. Loomis said.
"He's your patient Doctor, precautions weren't strong enough, you should have told somebody," Dr. Wynn said.
"I told everybody! No one listened." Dr. Loomis said. They were walking to Dr. Loomis's car.
"Look, Sam, There's not much I can do," Dr. Wynn said.
"You can get back in there, get on that telephone, tell them who exactly broke out, where's he's going and who he's after!" Dr. Loomis said.
"Probably going after," Dr. Wynn replied back.
"You're wasting my time," Dr. Loomis said.
"Sam, Haddonfield is 150 miles away, for God's Sake he can't even drive a car," Dr. Wynn said.
"He was doing very well last night! Someone might have given him lessons," Dr. Loomis said as he entered his car and shut the door. The Doctor turned the key to his car on as he put it in reverse. Backing out of the parking lot, he then put it in drive as he drove to Haddonfield.
It would only be a matter of time until Jason would come back to Haddonfield.
