A clock ticks loudly. Showing close-ups of some of the patients of what seemed to be a Prison Hospital. There were guards and staff all around the area. A man was signing a clipboard and saying a few words to the guard who was holding the paper.
There were two other people standing outside in a waiting room.
A guard then started to play music on an old disc recorder.
"Testing, One, two, three, testing check, check, check. We are now at Smith's Grove Rehabilitation Facility." A female British woman said. Her name was Dana.
"We're here to investigate a patient who spent the last 40 years….In captivity. And by all accounts has not uttered a word. This monster…" A British man said. His name was Aaron. The two were Podcasters or investigative journalists. They were here to meet the legendary, deranged serial killer, Jason Voorhees.
A loud alarm is set off as the Doctor walks through the door.
"Good afternoon, I'm Dr. Ranbir Sartain." Dr. Sartain said as he shook Dana's hand.
"Thank you so much for having us here. We were hoping to catch him before his transfer to the new facility." Dana said to Dr. Sartain.
"It is my pleasure to have you here. The state seems to have no interest in further research on him. Not anymore at least." Dr. Sartain said.
"Well, That's why we're here," Aaron said.
They both walk down the hall to the courtyard.
"Jason and Michael have been my life's obsession. I've examined every single case file written on them. I was a student of Dr. Loomis before he passed away. And then my love with the University of Illinois to be a song to Michael and Jason for myself." Dr. Sartain spoke.
"Any Progress?" Dana asked.
"Jason has been seen by over 50 clinical psychiatrists, and each brings different opinions. Dr. Loomis was the only one to see him in the wild. And he concluded he was nothing more than Pure Evil. Michael was released from the custody of the state and was given his freedom since The Night of 78. Our patients get fresh air, Sunshine, a view, proper exercise, and a healthy diet. It pains me to see him get transferred to that less than desirable facility. There he is." Dr. Sartain said as they stopped outside the courtyard. In the middle of it was Jason Voorhees. Keeping his back turned towards them.
"He can speak, he just chooses not to." Dr. Sartain said.
"I'd like to stand closer to him, if I may. Give him some sort of awareness." Aaron said.
"Oh, make no mistake, he's aware, he saw you coming through this morning." Dr. Sartain said.
"Now, Mr. Korey, if you would so gracefully tie your shoelaces. Mr. Randolvi here, the gentleman with the umbrella, grows wary of such a thing, underestimate no one." Dr. Sartain said. With that, Aaron tied his shoelaces.
"Now, step up to the Yellow Line. And no further." Dr. Sartain said as the trio walked up through the Courtyard.
They were right behind Jason as he stood motionless.
"Jason, Jason. I've got some people here who would like to meet you." Dr. Sartain said. Jason gave no response as he stood perfectly still. Jason had no hair and was completely bald, but his skin was a light gray color, cold and lifeless. He wore a white hospital gown.
Aaron stepped forward towards Jason just a bit further.
"Hello, Jason. My name is Aaron Korey. I've been following your case for years and still know little about you. I'd like to know more. About that night. About Michael. Do you ever think about them, Jason? Your Guilt of their fate? Your hatred for Michael?" Aaron said as he stepped right up to the yellow line and stopped just centimeters away from passing it. Aaron then looked to Dr. Sartain who nodded his head.
Aaron then turned back to Jason.
"I bought something from an old friend at Attorney Generals," Aaron said as he started to open his bag. He then shuffled through his bag and pulled out a dark gray hockey mask with many scratches and a few missing parts. It had been 40 years since Jason had last worn the mask.
Aaron held it up at Jason. Jason gave a somewhat of a response. He slightly turned his head but then returned back to its normal position.
"You feel it, don't you Jason. You feel the mask. It's a part of you, Jason," Aaron said. The other inmates started to clench their fists. One in a wheelchair who was bald started to mumble noises. A K9 unit started to growl a bit at the uneasiness of the inmates.
Some of the other inmates started to groan a bit in fear.
"Say something, Jason. Say Something." Aaron continued. As the inmates that were around the courtyard started to get louder. The K9 unit started to bark louder. A man with an umbrella started to shake a bit making groaning noises of fear. One started to thrash at his chains. Laughing hysterically. The K9 unit barked more frequently and louder.
Dana started to look around at the uneasiness of the inmates. She was still recording hoping that Jason would respond.
"You can feel it, can't you? It's a part of you Jason, it's a part of you," Aaron asked. Jason seemed to turn his head back to where it was and seemed to completely deny that Aaron was standing behind him.
Sirens started to go off, as it was not just the courtyard, but everyone inside the building was shouting in mumbled groans and voices.
"Say something Jason," Aaron said yet again. The inmates across the entirety of Smith's Grove were shouting and screaming. And it was all in mumbled groans and voices.
"Say Something," Aaron said as the inmates yelled louder.
A few inmates were just screaming from pure fear. The man in the Umbrella yelled loudly through fear.
The screams and yells of Smith's Grove were overtaken by loud Sirens.
It wasn't until Aaron shouted.
"Say Something!"

"Well, having witnessed the animal in its captive state and failed to provoke any sort of response. We now track down its Victim and Rival. Could it be that one monster has made not one but two more monsters? Both fettered from the world around them, living in isolation." Aaron Korey spoke through his recorder as he and Dana drove down a road through a mass of trees. They then pulled into a driveway that was completely surrounded by a metal wire fence.
It had many signs on it, many of them were warnings.
"Do not trespass, this is private property of the State." Dana read one of the signs aloud. Aaron let out a sigh of annoyance.
"We might need this," Dana said as she gave Aaron three-thousand dollars worth of money.
Aaron looked at it and then handed it back to his colleague.
"Dana, Journalists, don't pay for rent fees," Aaron said to Dana.
"Smile, we're on camera." Dana joked as she spotted a security camera on a tree. Aaron opened his door just enough so he could press a button on a speaker. It had a red light on it indicating that no one was answering. Aaron pressed the button, there were a few rings and beeps, but after a few short moments the light turned green, and a voice was heard.
"Yes?" It sounded female, most likely one of the people they were looking for.
"Hello, Um, We're looking for Laurie Strode and Michael Myers," Aaron said through the speaker.
No response.
"We're making a podcast and-" Aaron said, but his sentence was finished by his colleague.
"Investigative Journalists."
Still no response.
"If you have a moment, We've traveled a very long way to speak with you and Michael," Aaron said. Still, no response was given.
"How does three-thousand dollars sound?" Dana asked through the speaker.
After a few short moments, the large metal gate slowly started to open. Aaron gave a smile and closed his door. Dana gave Aaron a smile as in to say, "See, it worked.".
They drove through the gate and up to a house. They both got out and walked up the step.
Aaron rang the doorbell. They stood there for a few moments. Then on the other side of the door. Someone was unlocking the door. There were many locks all across it. Even a metal bar. Once all of that was done, the person opened the door, and on the other side of that was another door. Just see-through and made out of metal.
"Hello," Dana said. The person stood there.
"May we come in, sit down and talk?" Aaron asked. The person then pulled yet another lock and opened the door for them.
They all sat down on the couch in the living room. The person grabbed a chair and put it near the edge of the kitchen. She sat down and revealed Laurie Strode. She is now 57 years old.
"So, Aaron and I have made several award-winning podcasts. We like to investigate unnatural and unbiased events. We believe there's a lot to learn from the horrors you and Michael have experienced," Dana said to Laurie.
"There's nothing to learn. There are no new insights or discoveries," Laurie said to the two.
"So, are they real?" Aaron asked as he leaned closer.
"Who?" Laurie asked.
"The Boogeymen? I read you quote it-" Aaron asked if Michael was truly what the townspeople had said he was. Including if Jason was really as terrifying as they said.
"You don't believe in The Boogeymen?" Laurie asked her own question.
"I believe in Michael Myers, The Hero of Haddonfield, and Jason Voorhees, a Deranged Serial Killer, but, The Boogeymen. No," Aaron said with disbelief. Laurie should've known that outsiders wouldn't believe in such things. But Laurie knew Michael more than anyone else.
"Well, you should," Laurie said.
"Okay," Aaron said in yet more disbelief.
"Jason Voorhees was stabbed several times by Michael with a kitchen knife, he then murdered Michael's older sister when Michael was six years old. Then he came after you. We just want to know why, We want a glimpse inside his mind, We also want to know why Michael was protecting you? That's why his and your story is so important," Dana asked.
Laurie was silent for a few moments.
"Our story?" Laurie asked her own question.
"Married for forty years, Your daughter was taken when she was twelve years old, Rocky relationship with your daughter and granddaughter. Michael was arrested for murdering one of the Child Protective Services members." Aaron said.
"Michael protected me because I was someone that would love him and make him whole. At that time, in 1978, I was Michael's only hope. I was all he had. But Jason didn't stop. Jason Voorhees murdered 10 people. And he's a human being we have to understand. Michael was locked up for only 3 days," Laurie said.
Dana wanted to change the subject to just Michael.
"What about Michael? They said he left town over a month ago," Dana said to Laurie. Laurie turned her attention back to Dana.
"You mean you didn't hear? He came back. Last night, 12 in the morning." Laurie said.
"He did?" Aaron said as he felt a knot in his throat.
Laurie gave a slight nod.
"Where is he now?" Dana asked Laurie.
"He's right behind you," Laurie said. Aaron and Dana slowly looked behind them, and when they did, Michael Myers was standing just behind the couch. He had his pale, aged mask with fake, frizzy brown hair. The top half of his mechanic suit was wrapped around his waist. He wore a tight, greasy, gray shirt. In his left hand was a few blocks of wood, and in his other hand was a large ax. Michael started to breathe heavily. Both Dana and Aaron felt their nerves skyrocket, almost as if their soul had left their body. Dana gasped and Aaron flinched.
Michael stood there for a few moments staring down at them. After a few short moments, Michael walked over to the fireplace. He bent down and opened the stove. He placed the blocks of wood into the fireplace, soon after shutting it, and walked into the kitchen.
Dana and Aaron were trying to calm themselves after the startle Michael just gave them.
"How long was he standing there?" Aaron asked, stuttering a bit.
"Long enough," Laurie said calmly.
Michael then seemed to be making himself some coffee. He poured some water into a cup. He then put a Stumptown Coffee Roasters pack into his cup. He then used a spoon to mix the coffee.
After Aaron and Dana calmed down, they got back on the topic of Jason Voorhees.
"They're transferring Jason," Aaron said.
"Tonight, 7 o'clock," Laurie said as Michael walked back into the living room. Grabbing a chair while entering and sat it down next to Laurie's.
Michael then sat down himself as he pulled his mask off, revealing a short white frizzy beard, scars all across his face, the top of his head was bald; however, he had thin hair on the side of his head and a large scar on the side of his neck, he also had an eye patch on his left eye. He took a sip of his coffee as he listened to his wife and the two journalists conversate.
"He'll be locked up for the rest of his days," Dana said, trying to make Laurie feel somewhat guilty for the monster.
"That's the idea," Laurie said with no guilt or sorrow.
Aaron then turned to Michael who was listening well to the conversation.
"Michael, how do you feel about Jason?" Aaron asked Michael. Michael gave no response instead he just stared at him and took another sip of his coffee.
"You're wasting your time trying to talk to him. He won't talk to anyone, All except his family." Laurie said to Aaron as he settled back down.
Dana decided to change the subject from Laurie.
"Let's change the subject about when Child Protective Services took your daughter away. They said you were an unfit mother and an unfit father, She was twelve years old, and Michael murdered four of the members. He was locked up for 3 days until you bailed him out. How long until you regain custody of your daughter?" Dana asked.
"We didn't. But you already knew that," Laurie said as she got up from her chair. Michael did the same as he grabbed his mask and walked back into the kitchen. Laurie was walking to the door.
"Laurie, Michael," Aaron said, trying to get their attention. Both Michael and Laurie turned their attention toward Aaron.
"We met with Jason. I showed him the Mask. There was no response, nothing. He won't talk to anyone. But he might speak with you. Meet with him and say all the things you want to say. Come with us. And let us free your inner demons. Please," Aaron tried to give a big speech. But Michael stopped listening once he said "Meet with him" As if Michael would say anything to that bastard. The only thing Michael wanted more was to kill the bastard for good.
Laurie also wasn't taking it. She then opened the door and unlatched the metal door on the other side.
"Time's up. We'll accept our payment…Get out," Laurie said as Michael finished his coffee and put his mask back on.
To be Continued…
A/N: Hello Readers! Frostzilla 2002 here! I really wasn't expecting to publish this any time soon, but since I rewatched Halloween Kills and Halloween(2018), I have felt a serious urge to continue the Canon Timeline of my Halloween: Michael vs Jason story. This is taking place forty years after the events of Halloween: Michael vs Jason. The year is now 2018, and it's basically a MAJOR rewrite of the BLUMHOUSE sequels. Of course, I would not recommend reading this story any further if you haven't read my first Halloween: Michael vs Jason(1978) story. Since this is a Direct Sequel. Well, I say Direct when it's like 40 years later.
And yes, Michael and Laurie are Husband and Wife in this story. If you read my Halloween: Michael vs Jason(1978) story, then it'll all make sense. And I will declare this here and now.
Michael and Laurie. THEY. ARE. NOT. SIBLINGS! Some people don't understand that in my Stories, they're not Siblings. Yes, I am a Michael x Laurie Shipper. I don't need judgment for it. Normally, I'm pretty nice about it, but there have been people P.M me, saying that Michael and Laurie Are siblings.
That would depend on which storyline you're basing it on. If you're taking the Canon Timeline, then they're not siblings, they never were. I won't point them out, but To those that have, You know who you are.
Anyway, I'm done rambling, I hope you enjoy the story from here on out. I will halt my Halloween II: Michael vs Jason Part Two for the time being. At least while I finish up the Canon Storyline.
I won't be putting in any more Author's Notes unless I have to point something out to people who don't understand or they're not being very nice.
Sorry for wasting your time reading this.
God Bless You All The Way To The End! CHEERS!
