A few streets down…
That was close. Too close.
Michael had saved a child from being hit by a car. Michael knew who it was. His doctor, Dr. Loomis. But Jason attacked him and tried to drive the car into the little girl. Of Course, Michael wouldn't just stand there and let the little girl be hit, he had to do something. Of course, now he was on his way back to his car. He knew that Jason's killing wouldn't start till sunset. So Michael needed to be ready for him.
Michael did, however, rob the Hardware store for a new mask and a knife, along with some rope. Other than that, he didn't take anything else. He also knocked out a Mechanic on his way to Haddonfield. But he didn't kill him. Michael walked toward the car that he had for the whole day now. But then something caught his attention. He saw Laurie again. This time, however, she wasn't alone. She was with someone. It wasn't Annie or Lynda. It was another boy. Laurie seemed to be laughing at him but in a funny manner.
Michael closed the door to his car and quietly followed the two. He followed them for about a few minutes until they both stopped and sat down on a bench.
Michael watched them from behind a tree, diagonally across from them. He placed his hand on the tree gently.
He could hear them laughing at each other. Michael then started to feel a little weird. Was this Jealousy? Michael certainly didn't like how it felt. He then started to feel a little bit of rage. His hand clenched on the tree bark, breaking a few pieces off as his anger started to boil inside of him. What was worse, the mask and the outfit the boy was wearing, closely resembled him.
More anger boiled inside of Michael. He realized that this boy might try to impersonate him, he was trying to steal her heart. Michael started breathing heavily as the rage inside of him boiled evermore.
The boy, who Michael heard, was Ben Tramer. Ben asked Laurie if she would like to go out tonight. Laurie didn't say anything, Michael was starting to feel a little worried about what she might say. Right now, he really felt the urge to kill this boy right now. Laurie then finally spoke up and said that she had plans for tonight.
Michael then let out a sigh of relief as he turned around and placed his back on the tree. He let out a few more breaths of relief, he was so worried that he might've had to kill Ben. Just to make sure no other man…or woman, stole Laurie's heart. Because he wanted her for himself. But she wasn't an object to him, she was the first person that he felt like he could appreciate and possibly love.
Ben seemed to say something and put on his wanna-be Boogeyman mask and walked off.
Laurie then watched Ben leave as she got up and walked back to her house, she looked like she was a bit hurt. Michael felt sorry for her that she had to get her heart broken like that, but luckily, he would sow that heart back together. Michael watched Laurie as she got up from the bench and walked in the opposite direction from Ben, making her way home. Michael followed Laurie. Moving ever so vigilantly.
Maybe, now was time for Michael to let Laurie know that he was around. Well, by that he meant to go and try to conversate with her. She was alone, but he also didn't want to turn up like how she rejected Ben Tramer. Which He worried she might, of course, Michael could always hang out with her tomorrow.
Laurie walked around a corner of the sidewalk, as Michael followed her. He then made himself completely exposed. He came out in the open and followed her. He was starting to feel a bit nervous, he could feel some sweat on his body. His blood was boiling but it wasn't in anger.
Laurie continued to walk down to her house with Michael just a few feet away from her. Laurie didn't hear him, Michael was also trying to move quietly.
He was starting to grow more anxious to talk with her. By doing that, he started to breathe heavily, trying to breathe as loud as possible so that she could hear him.
Laurie's POV…
Ben was being such a jerk. Just because she had plans for tonight didn't mean that she wasn't free tomorrow. She was speed walking back to her home, knowing that she had two hours to get ready before Annie came over. She was very mad right now at Ben.
She walked for a few minutes until she started to hear heavy breathing, or whatever you wanted to call it. It was very loud, and it sounded like it was right behind her. Laurie stopped where she stood. The breathing didn't, but it also wasn't getting any louder.
Laurie slowly turned her head around as she started to shake nervously.
Once she did, that was when she saw him. The man that she saw outside the school, fighting that other man, drove by her and her friends in that car and dropped off both her Chemistry Book and English Book. Laurie let out a small gasp as she saw him standing right in front of her.
The man was pretty tall, much taller than her. He seemed pretty muscular too. Once she turned around to see him, his breathing stopped. He looked at her with a dead-on stare. A slight shiver went down her spine.
She couldn't find the words to speak. Well, for one, asking who he was or just saying hi would be easy. Annie or Lynda were usually the ones that got her out of awkward situations. Especially with guys. But she didn't have anyone right now. She just had herself, with a man that looked quite intimidating.
"Uhm…H-...Hi…" Laurie said nervously, the man tilted his head in a child-like fashion. He then gave a small wave, but it looked like it was a nervous wave.
"How's your day been?" Laurie asked, she was getting a little nervous. The man then walked over behind a hedge slowly as Laurie watched him curiously.
The man went behind the hedge and could no longer be seen until he held his hand out and gestured for her to come behind the hedge.
Laurie was a little nervous and confused. This man might be trying to lure her in and kill her, but something told her that wasn't the case. She small steps toward the hedge as the man put down his hand. Laurie then walked to the hedge and peeked around the corner. The man was still standing there, not showing any signs of hostility or aggression. Laurie then came around the hedge as she hid behind it too.
The man then grabbed the bottom of his mask and slowly lifted it up. When he did, Laurie saw his face.
His face was quite handsome, he had your average boy hair with a dark color. His eyes were pale blue. But he had an emotionless face even though it was still quite handsome, you could say even hot.
The man held his mask in his hand as he looked at Laurie. He tilted his head from side to side as Laurie followed his movements. Tilting her head from side to side.
"I…uuuhh…I never caught your name," Laurie said a bit nervously, she could feel her cheeks warm up. She blushed a bit at the sight of his face. He was much cuter than any other boy she had met. He looked pretty young too. Close to her age but probably slightly older.
The man then pulled a piece of paper out from his chest pocket. He gently handed it to Laurie.
Laurie took it in curiosity.
She unfolded it, revealing handwriting.
My name is Michael, I'm glad to finally meet you in person, Laurie…
Laurie looked back at Michael.
"Michael, Huh? I don't think I've ever seen you around here," Laurie said calmly, retaining some calmness.
Michael shook his head slowly. Saying that, no she's never seen him before.
"You don't seem like you talk too much. Are you mute?" Laurie asked.
Michael slowly shook his head. Saying, no he wasn't mute.
"Well, uhm…I'm free for tonight if you want to stop by the Doyals. I mean, If you want to which it's totally fine if you don't but you know, I just thought since you didn't look like you had nothing to do I just wanted to fill in your-mhmm…" Laurie's face was grabbed gently, immediately silencing her rambling as Michael cupped her face and quickly but gently pulled her face close to his, and gently pressed his lips on hers.
Laurie's face was beet-red, her eyes widened in shock but also awe. She was completely caught off guard when he kissed her. Her muscles couldn't move as she was awe-struck. After a short few moments, Michael released her and looked into her eyes. Laurie was still in a state of shock. Michael released his gentle touch from Laurie's cheeks as he tilted his head in admiration.
Laurie covered her mouth just slightly, she gave a small giggle.
"Sorry, I…I guess I ramble too much," Laurie said with a cute smile. Laurie stared at Michael with a cute smile as Michael stared back at her. Michael didn't look like he was smiling, but Laurie knew all too well, that this was probably the man's happiest moment. Especially for her.
Michael and Laurie stared at each other for a few moments, then Laurie snapped out of it.
"Uhm…So, If you want to come over to The Doyals, then I'll be there, I'll be in a 1977 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, riding with my friend, at 6," Laurie said as she brushed her hair to the side. Michael continued to stare at her for a few more moments.
He then nodded his head yes. Laurie's smile grew.
"I guess, I'll meet you at 6," Laurie said as she slowly backed away with a passionate smile. Michael then pulled his mask back over his face. Watching her leave. Laurie then walked her way back to her house. With a smile on her face.
She let out a small playful laugh as she looked back at Michael who was watching her from the side of the hedge. Once when Laurie was out of sight, Michael followed her from behind the bushes and hide stealthy from her.
He watched her walk into her house and close the door behind her. He would make sure she was safe until she had left the house again. He knew Jason was preparing to kill.
Tonight on Halloween.
Back with Ben…
Ben had been walking for a while now. He had gotten quite a bit of candy from trick or treating. He came around the corner of the sidewalk and continued his way toward the more populated houses.
Ben had a white mask over his face and a mechanic jumpsuit. It was paler and its hair was wilder than Michael's.
Ben walked down the sidewalk but then a strong arm grabbed him from his right side. Pulling him back away from the sidewalk and into the side of a house.
The man who pulled him to the side was Jason Voorhees. Jason grabbed a rope that he had hung on a tree, all the while, strangling Ben with one arm wrapped around his neck. Jason then wrapped the rope around Ben's neck. Ben struggled to break free even trying to scream but Jason kept his mouth shut. Jason then pulled the rope up as he was hanging Ben. Ben tried to pull himself up from the rope, but once Jason had tied the rope to a stake in the ground, Ben's body went limp. His corpse dangled from the ground. Jason looked up at the dangling body of his victim. He tilted his head in amusement and curiosity.
CH Ch ch HA Ha ha CH Ch ch HA Ha ha
Jason breathed heavily, he then walked off leaving the body of Ben Tramer to be left for discovery.
