Down the road just a few blocks away…
Annie and Laurie had been driving for a little while.
Annie was now trying to bring up the topic of the Dance tomorrow.
"So, are you going to the dance with Michael?" Annie asked. That earned a small laugh from Laurie.
"Maybe, if he's up for it," Laurie said.
"What's he like, besides his devilishly good looks you described?" Annie asked.
"He doesn't talk much, but he was very nice and…He might've…well, you know," Laurie stopped as she was trying to hide her blush, smiling evermore.
"What? What did he do? Come on Laurie, Spill it," Annie said excitedly.
Laurie laughed a little more.
"He kissed me," Laurie said with an even bigger smile.
Annie let out a gasp of surprise, then started jumping up and down in her seat, she had no words to describe how excited she was.
"Did he actually?!" Annie asked with excitement in her tone.
"Yes…it was…wonderful," Laurie said with more blush on her cheeks.
"Did you get his number or did you find out where he lives?" Annie asked.
"He found out where I lived, and he's coming over at the Doyals Tonight," Laurie said.
"So what's the plan when he gets there? You gonna put the kids to bed, and give him a bonus," Annie said with a dirty look.
"Annie, it's too early for that, I mean we just met two hours ago," Laurie said.
"I did that with Paul, It was wonderful," Annie said.
"Alright Annie, don't push me," Laurie said as she smacked Annie's shoulder. Earning a laugh from the two of them.
Michael's POV…
Michael had been following them closely. They didn't seem to notice he was in the car behind them. Of course, there's always the element of surprise.
The sun was setting and the night was taking its turn. The car he was following stopped near a large house. Then Laurie stepped out of the car and walked to the house.
Michael watched her go in. He pulled toward the side of the road. Before he got out he watched The Car that Laurie got out of pull into another driveway just across the street. It must've been Annie.
Michael put the car in park. He opened the door and closed it behind him. He walked up to the front door of the house. But then he saw one of the windows. Michael walked to it and stood right in front of it.
He could see the parents talking with Laurie. Although, he couldn't make out what they were saying. The parents then exited the house as they got into their car and drove off, Michael made sure to hide when they exited the house.
He saw the same little boy from the Elementary School. It was a good thing he was safe. Michael then walked to another window, he looked to the kitchen window. There he saw Laurie putting her things on the table. He tilted his head at seeing her again. He then looked back toward the other house down the street. The parents at that house too were leaving. He could see Annie standing at the door. Then he saw a very familiar little girl. The last time he remembered she was in a princess dress almost about to be hit by a zooming car. Now he remembers, it was the girl he saved from the car earlier today.
Michael would wait about twenty minutes until he would knock on the door of the Doyals house. For now, he would make sure this block was safe from Jason.
The Myers House…
A Police Car pulled toward the side of the road next to The Myers House.
Dr. Loomis and Sheriff Bracket got out of the car and walked up to the Myers House.
"Does anybody live here?" Dr. Loomis asked.
"No, not since 1963, every kid in Haddonfield thinks this place is haunted," Sheriff Bracket said as the two walked up to the house.
"Haunted is the wrong word," Dr. Loomis said as they walked up to the house. Sheriff Bracket opened the door as it creaked open. They walked through as Dr. Loomis walked upstairs. Sheriff Bracket then saw something lying on the floor.
"What is that?" Sheriff Bracket asked as he walked toward it.
Dr. Loomis came down the stairs and saw it.
"It's his Mother's Head," Dr. Loomis said.
The head was more on a sacrificial table. It had candles lit all around it with a picture of Jason's Mother when she was younger.
"What kind of sick shit is this?" Sheriff Bracket said.
"Jason never killed his Mother, she Killed herself," Dr. Loomis said as he walked up the stairs, Sheriff Bracket stared at the old deformed head then walked back up to Dr. Loomis.
"What do you mean, She killed herself?" Bracket asked.
"Around twenty-one years ago, Jason Voorhees Drowned in 1957, at Camp Crystal Lake. His mother, Pamela Voorhees, blamed the death of his son on the Counselors. So she went on a rampage. Killing a total of nine people. There was one more person, the last Counselor. Pamela was close to killing her until The Girl decapitated Pamela with a Machete. The girl fled and left the camp, but Jason Voorhees was never dead. He came back. And he killed anyone and everyone that entered Camp Crystal Lake. Michael wrote to me and said that the voice of his mother, Pamela, motivates Jason to kill. And so, in 1963, Jason Voorhees came to Haddonfield and killed Michael Myers's Older sister, Judith. Michael was taken the blame for the death of his sister," Dr. Loomis gave a history lesson about Jason Voorhees.
"Jesus," Sheriff Bracket said.
"Michael on the other hand, I met him fifteen years ago, when we first met, the boy gave little if not any response, but I was able to reach him at a young age, he got better the older he became. For the first four years, I tried to figure out what was happening to him, was he traumatized? Was he Depressed? Or was it something completely different? I tried to release him by the time he turned fourteen but the Federal State Government said otherwise. I tried to tell them that Michael never killed anyone. But no one listened. For the next eleven years, I tried to free Michael from that place, I even got the Court involved but they didn't have the interest in it. For those fifteen years, Michael got better and better at communicating, I taught him the basics of how to live a normal life. How to get dressed properly, how to eat with your manners, how to tie his shoelaces. I eventually grew a strong connection with him. I loved him, as a Son. And I failed him, all those years of trying to free him, All he needed was to free himself. Then I saw his eyes, he had the blackest eyes. There would be points in time when his eye color changed. There were times when he was angered they became black, darkness, filled with nothing inside of them, then there were points in time when his eyes returned to their natural color. A shade of Pale Blue. I realized from that day forward, that Michael had something inside of him, And I could guarantee, It was The Boogeyman, whatever lies inside that boy, still lives within him, giving him the strength to snap metal, the might of a monster, The hatred of A demon. People told me the boy was dangerous. But I've seen who Michael truly is. He is…The Boogeyman," Dr. Loomis gave a full speech on Michael Myers.
Sheriff Bracket was left with confusion but somewhat of an understanding.
"Do you actually believe he's The Boogeyman?" Sheriff Bracket Asked.
"For Every second of my life since I met him," Dr. Loomis said. Dr. Loomis then walked into Judith Myers's room.
"So, what do we do?" Sheriff Bracket asked.
"He's been once Tonight, I think he might come back, I will wait for him, until he's returned," Dr. Loomis said.
"I'll be back in an hour to check-in," Sheriff Bracket said as he walked downstairs and out the door. Dr. Loomis walked downstairs as well. But he didn't go outside. Dr. Loomis walked to the head of Pamela Voorhees surrounded by many candles.
"You think that killing Michael's Family will make a difference? Your son can't kill forever, and you know that" Dr. Loomis said to the head of Pamela Voorhees. Dr. Loomis then walked out the door and stood by the bushes.
Waiting for Jason Voorhees, and possibly, Michael Myers.
