Laurie and Michael's Home…

Michael was currently making Laurie and himself some coffee as he stirred the liquid with the coffee mixer. His mask was on, though the top half of his mechanic suit was wrapped around his waist, wearing a tight black shirt underneath. Laurie was sitting on the stool next to the counter as Michael prepped the coffee for each other. The news was on as it was on a TV that was in the corner of the room.

Michael finished making the coffee as he handed one of the mugs to Laurie. Michael then sat down next to her with his own stool.

Laurie took a sip of her coffee.

Michael moved the lower part of his mask up, only where his mouth was exposed. He then took a drink of the coffee he made.

Laurie then looked at Michael.

"We should've done something, Anything," Laurie said. Michael stopped drinking his coffee as he pulled his mask back down and looked at Laurie.

"Maybe," Michael muttered a single word.

The news then said something about a Prison bus that was crashed in a ditch. The word caught both Laurie and Michael's attention. Michael slowly looked toward the TV, staring at it. Laurie turned around and saw it was the same bus from last night.

The News then said it was transporting patients from a local state hospital. Michael then immediately got up and walked toward the front door. Laurie turned on the Police Radio that she was able to get her hands on. Michael locked every lock on the front door. Even putting the bar on it.

Michael knew that Jason didn't know where they were…but what he did know, was Jason would be searching for them…more specifically, Him. Jason has always been after Michael since 1963. But now, Michael was ready for him.

Laurie then proceeded to gather weaponry, she grabbed a combat knife and put it in a holster. Then put ammo inside a pouch. Michael put the top half of his mechanic jumpsuit back on. Zipping it up. He then walked toward the counter in the middle of the kitchen. He grabbed a remote and pressed a button. Suddenly, the counter started to move, turning out of the way as it revealed a basement…though it was far more than a regular basement.

Karen's Home…

Many children were already out trick-or-treating. Running around happily, a majority of them were in costumes. Karen was driving her car as she pulled into her driveway.

Soon after, she entered her house with groceries in her arms. When she did, no one was in the house.

"Ray. Allyson," Karen called out, however, there was no answer.

Then the porch door opened. Ray came through, he had safety goggles on.

"Karen," Ray said as he took off the goggles.

Karen looked up at the stairs a bit suspiciously.

"GOTCHA!" Laurie said as she aimed the gun at Karen. Causing Karen to let out a gasp as she put her back against the wall.

"You're dead," Laurie said as she came down the stairs. Then Michael came around in the kitchen.

"You scared me! What are you doing in my house?" Karen asked her Parents.

"You mean how did we get in your house. Karen you have no security of any kind, you know, I can't tell between your stupidity or your ignorance," Laurie said as Michael walked toward the porch door and locked it.

"You know, this is my house and I can take care of my family, so-" Ray said but was cut off by Laurie.

"The bus crashed," Laurie said, not being very specific about the details of the bus crash or the escape of Jason.

"What?" Karen said in confusion. Michael then walked further into the house. Checking every door and window. He even had to shut the side window.

"Look, we have a plan, where's Allyson, we need to get out of here," Laurie said as Michael walked back into the room they were all in.

"What Bus Crashed?" Karen said with no concern or interest. Ray was then more interested and concerned about the gun Laurie was holding along with the Knife Michael had in his hand.

"Put down that gun," Ray said.

"Hey, hey, back off!" Laurie said but that was immediately stopped when Michael put a gentle hand on Laurie's shooting arm, gently pushing down the gun.

"Mom, You need help and you are not welcome in this house until you get it. Dad has been trying to help you, and you simply refuse to take it," Karen said.

"We have tried to protect and prepare you, now we have to hunt him down," Laurie said. Michael's breathing got a little harder.

Karen then started to escort her parents out of the room.

"And I am trying to prepare dinner for my family, The world is not a dark and evil place, it is full of love and understanding. And I am not going to let you or your psychotic words, convince me otherwise," Karen said as Michael and Laurie were now outside the house. Michael wanted to convince her to come with them, she had no idea how dangerous Jason truly was.

"Take the gun," Laurie said as she tried to give her daughter the gun.

"No, you both need to go, Get out!" Karen said as she shut the door.

Gas Station…

Hawkins walked into the bathroom as he saw the torn-up, mangled, corpse of Dana. Her ribs popped out of her rib cage, and even her skull was mashed up.

"Son of bitch," Hawkins cursed.

Hawkins then found his way outside to the front of the Gas Station. Police had put up crime blocks with yellow tape, trying to keep all the civilians away from the crime scene. There were at least four bodies in the area. Hawkins, from the corner of his eye, saw The Shape standing in front of a police blockade, staring at the crime scene. Beside him was Laurie.

"Hawkins," Barker called for Hawkins, trying to get his attention.

"Frank," Sheriff Barker said one last time.

"Yeah," Hawkins said turning his attention back to the Sheriff.

There was another police officer standing next to the Sheriff.

"Look at this," Sheriff Barker said as the Police officer next to him showed a bag with a hospital gown.

"It's a hospital gown," He said.

"State issue," Hawkins added a bit more details.

"It's from Smith's Grove, we found the match," Sheriff Barker said.

"I was there that Night…I was there," Hawkins said to Barker. Knowing that the night from forty years ago was something Hawkins had regretted for a long time.

"We have one order of business…That's to hunt this thing down," Hawkins said as he turned toward Michael and Laurie. Laurie placed a gentle hand on Michael's shoulder, getting his attention. Laurie then whispered a few words to him, and they then both walked off away from the crime scene.

"There's a reason we're supposed to be afraid of this thing," Hawkins said as Michael and Laurie got into their truck and drove off.

Night was approaching…That would only mean one thing…Jason would be Kill again.
