October 31st…Halloween…Haddonfield, Illinois…
It was finally Halloween in Haddonfield. Already in the morning, kids were out trick-or-treating in their costumes. In The Carruther's home, it was a slightly busy morning for the family.
Marlene was currently fixing eggs and French Toast. Richard was currently opening a cabinet when his tie got spilled in Coffee.
"Damn it, Marlene," Richard said as he turned to Marlene. Marlene looked and saw his tie with coffee stains on it.
"Third shelf on the left," Marlene said. Rachel entered the kitchen and grabbed a bagel. The phone was ringing. Marlene went to answer it.
"That's not the only thing you're eating, Rachel," Marlene said.
"Mom, I'm on a Diet, you want an oinker for a daughter?" Rachel said sarcastically.
Marlene then started talking on the phone.
"You don't suppose Susan could just bring her crutches? Hm, Poor girl, well, I hope she gets better," Marlene said as she hung the phone up.
"Susan can't babysit tonight," Marlene said.
"Why not?" Richard asked.
"Susan broke her ankle last night at the Ice Ring," Marlene said.
Marlene then looked at Rachel. Who sat down and started eating her bagel.
"Rachel…" Marlene said.
"Mom, please," Rachel said.
"You'll have to watch Jamie tonight," Marlene said.
"Not tonight, I got that big date with Brady, you know how important that is," Rachel said.
"Well, tonight is very important for your Father and me," Marlene said.
"Can't you find somebody else?" Rachel asked.
"It's too late," Marlene said.
"What am I supposed to tell Brady? Sorry but I've gotta babysit my Foster Sister, go and have fun on your own," Rachel said.
"It's not exactly the end of the world," Marlene said.
"Well, sure it is. I think tonight, Brady was ready to make a commitment. But now my future relationship, My engagement, my marriage, my children, and your grandchildren have all been wiped out because I have to babysit. Oh, Joy," Rachel said. Unbeknownst to her, however, Jamie walked down the stairs and heard everything her step-sister had to say.
"Sorry I ruin everything, If I wasn't here you could go out," Jamie said as she walked back up the stairs.
Rachel then put her hand on her face after what she just said.
"Great job, Rachel, that little girl needs all the love we can give her. And All you think about is yourself," Richard said as he stood by his wife.
Rachel got up from her chair and walked up the stairs to talk to Jamie.
Jamie was currently sitting on her bed petting Sunday.
Rachel entered the room.
"Jamie," Rachel said as she walked to Jamie's bed. She then sat down.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean it like that," Rachel said, trying to apologize.
"I can go out with Brady Tomorrow night," Rachel said. Hoping this news would cheer Jamie up.
"But you want to go out tonight, it's my fault you can't go," Jamie said.
"Well, tonight we're going to do something better, we're going to go Trick-or-treating tonight," Rachel said.
"I don't want to," Jamie said.
"It's Halloween, I mean, don't you wanna dress up in a scary costume and get some candy?" Rachel asked. Jamie didn't seem to be taking it though.
"How about, I pick you up from school and we go get Ice cream?" Rachel asked.
"Double Scoops?" Jamie said, cheering up.
"Double scoops, now let's get some breakfast," Rachel said as she patted Jamie's leg. Jamie got up as they walked down the stairs.
3 hours from Haddonfield…
The storm had cleared up and the roads were now clear. Walking down the road, wearing a hospital gown, and bandages around his face, was Michael Myers. He had gotten a good distance from the Ambulance crash. He was currently searching for a Gas Station that could be near.
He was dirty and soaked with cold water. But it didn't bother him much. It had been over a decade since he'd woken up. Since then…he'd been battling a Monster named Freddy Krueger. Who was apparently obsessed with Michael and his family…but it was more than that. Freddy used Jason as a puppet to attack Michael and his family. Freddy was the Mastermind behind all of it. The murderers of 78'...of 63'. It was all Freddy. Michael was able to keep Freddy at bay in the Dream World…At least from harming his Daughter. Yes…Michael had a Daughter…of all things Michael could have in the world…he had a Child to call his own. He couldn't imagine what she thought of him. What she's heard about him. He wonders how she and Laurie are doing without him. Hopefully well. At least well enough when he gets back to Haddonfield to reunite with The Love of his life and the Daughter he'd never seen.
Michael then heard some chattering to his right. He stopped and walked to cover behind a tree.
He then saw a group of Drug-dealers. Selling Cocaine and Meth. But he quickly saw a bag full of money. Lots of money. That would probably be helpful. At least where he could rent a car, and get some food, Not that he needed food…he just takes enjoyment in food. Part of him died when fighting Freddy in the Dream World. He no longer needs Sleep, Food, and Water…It's a part of him he regretted losing despite the exchange for power. But food brought a sense of comfort.
He counted at least six guys. All were high on drugs. He saw a chain in the trunk of one of the cars.
Guess it was time he made himself known.
Michael walked out in the open as he approached the Drug-Dealers.
When one of them noticed they started to chuckle and laugh.
"Look what we got here, boys. Looks like someone fell out of a refined Fridge," One of the Drug-dealers said as the rest of them started to laugh. Michael kept walking forward as he stepped into the circle of cars.
"You here to get your daily dose of drugs?" The drug dealer said as he walked forward, tossing his cigarette to the side. Michael said nothing as he stopped just inches away from the man. There was a short silence between the two. Michael then pointed at the money in the bag in the trunk of a car.
All the drug dealers looked at what he was pointing at. All the money they had gathered through the night.
"Oh, You want…My Money? Is that right?" The Drug dealer said. Michael guessed this was the leader of the group.
He then pulled out a pocket knife and extended it out. The rest of the gang members pulled out their own arms. One had a chain, another had a hunter's knife, one had a pistol, another had a bat, then the other had a wooden club. They all readied themselves.
"If you want My Money, Motherfucker, You gonna have to rip right out of my fucking corpse," The Drug dealer said. Well…Enough is enough.
Michael slammed his head into the man's face. Breaking his nose as he fell to the ground. The Man with the Pistol shot his gun three times. They all hit Michael in the chest. Pushing him back very little.
They all looked at him as if he was some sort of Monster…
"Holy Shit!" One of them called out.
"KILL THE MOTHERFUCKER!" The leader shouted from the ground. Some of the gang members hesitated. But the one with the chain ran forward, giving a war scream. He went for a hit, but his arm was caught by Michael's, which was easily broken. Causing him to howl in pain. Michael then grabbed the chain and wrapped it around Man's neck. He pulled on it hard as the man's mouth started to gush blood. His mouth was bleeding too. Michael then snapped the man's head back, causing his neck to dislocate. The Drug Dealer fell on the ground dead.
The Rest of the Drug Dealers looked on in horror. The one with the gun aimed it at Michael. Michael then extended the Chain and whipped it toward the Drug Dealer as it wrapped around his leg. Causing him to fall to the ground. Michael then jerked the Chain back as it pulled the drug dealer with the gun toward The Boogeyman. Once he was close enough, Michael raised his foot over the Drug dealer's head. Soon after, crushing his skull completely, splattering his brains. The other four Drug dealers were all terrified. But they wouldn't give up their money for it.
Two of them ran at Michael. One with a bat and the other with a wooden club that wasn't a bat.
The one with the bat swung it at Michael but was caught by Michael with one hand. The one with the club swung at Michael's head, but Michael dodged out of the way as all it met was thin air. The Drug dealer stumbled slightly after the miss. Michael dropped the chain to the ground and backhand the Drug dealer with the club in the face. Causing him to fall to the ground. Michael then slammed his head into the Drug dealer with the bat, slamming into his head. Sending him straight down to the ground. Michael raised the bat over his head and smashed it down on the drug dealer's head. Splattering it into many pieces of his brain.
Michael was then hit in the back by a wooden club. The club, however, splintered into pieces, as for Michael, he barely even flinched. He slowly turned his head to the drug dealer who was now terrified. Michael tossed the bat to the side aimlessly. Quickly grabbing him by the neck with one hand. Soon after grabbing the broken club out of the Drug Dealer's hand. The Drug dealer gasped for air as Michael raised him off the ground with ease.
Michael then stabbed the broken end of the club directly through the gut of the Drug dealer. Going straight through his back as blood gushed out. The Drug dealer gasped for air. Michael then tossed him aside like a ragdoll.
Michael was about to turn to the other two but was stabbed in the chest by a pocket knife. Then stabbed in the neck by a hunting knife. Michael flinched slightly as The Leader Drug Dealer and the other drug dealer double-ganged Michael. However, Michael was not so easily overwhelmed. Michael grabbed the Drug Dealer who stabbed him in the neck with the hunting knife. Free his hand from the knife. Michael reeled back his fist as he punched the Drug Dealer in the face. Knocking the Drug Dealer's head off completely. Sending it somewhere in the bushed. The body collapsed to the ground.
The Leader was the last one. The leader let go of the pocket knife and attempted to run away, but Michael grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and pull him back to the ground with ease…yet with such force. Michael quickly grabbed the back of The Drug Dealer's head, pulling it back to reveal his neck. Michael then jerked out the pocket knife that was stabbed into his chest.
Michael, slowly and casually, pressed the blade of the pocket knife against the neck of the Leader's throat. With little ease, Michael slowly slit the Leader's throat as blood oozed and gushed out. Michael made sure to do it slowly as the Leader gagged and tried to gasp for air. Michael released his grip from the back of the Leader's neck as he fell to the ground. He clenched his neck as Michael watched the Leader twitch and struggle with the last of his life. Michael slowly tilted his head from side to side in deep amusement.
The Leader then gave out the last of his breath…as he died. Michael grabbed the hunting knife that stabbed into his neck and jerked it out. He dropped it to the ground.
Having enough with the bandages around his head. Michael grabbed the bandages by the end and ripped them off with little to no effort.
Revealing his face. His left eye was burnt and blind. Now white and scarred. His face wasn't so burnt. Very little. He still had the handsome face that he had a decade ago, although now it was just scarred and more injured.
Michael turned to the money in the bag of the trunk of a car. He walked toward it he then zipped up the bag and took it with him. If these drug dealers were here, then a Gas station couldn't be too far away.
Ridgemont Federal Sanitarium…
In a corridor of Ridgemont Federal Sanitarium, an Old man with a brown trench coat, a walking stick, and black gloves walked down the corridor as some of the Medical personnel walked down the corridor.
The man then opened the office door to Dr. Hoffman. Who was currently on his typewriter, writing a Log about Michael Myers.
When the man walked in he had slightly burned skin on the right side of his face.
"Why wasn't I notified?" The Man asked.
"About what?" Dr. Hoffman asked as he turned to the man.
"You know damn well about what…You let them take him out of here?" The man said.
"Christ's sake, your fabulous speech, I've listened to it for over a decade. The point is Michael Myers was a Federal patient, therefore he was subjected to federal law," Dr. Hoffman said.
"We're not talking about any ordinary Patient, Hoffman. He's been stuck in here for a decade…What do you think he's going to "Think" when he finds out his wife is dead!" The Man said.
"Dr. Loomis, I see this as a useless debate. Michael Myers is already on his way to Smith's Grove where he will be spending the rest of his days," Dr. Hoffman said. This caused Dr. Loomis to erupt.
"AT WHAT CHARGES!" Dr. Loomis shouted, causing Hoffman to silence himself. Dr. Loomis started to breathe heavily, trying to keep his cool.
"I have spent the last twenty-five years trying to free that poor boy from this rotten, miserable captivity! And Now he's going to spend an eternity in the same place he was put in for a crime he never committed! TELL ME! Hoffman, what sort of Justice is this?! Michael Myers has done nothing wrong in his entire life and now he's being treated like some sort of Monster!" Dr. Loomis shouted trying not to snap. Dr. Hoffman was speechless at the moment. Dr. Loomis continued to breathe heavily.
"I've known that boy for twenty-five years, Hoffman…All he wants is a family…He's lived through what no one should have lived through. He's survived what should've killed anyone…As long as he is hunted by the Law he will never find peace! I've spent the first fifteen years since I met him trying to free him from that sanitarium! Then the next decade trying to return him back to his family!" Dr. Loomis said. Dr. Hoffman remained speechless.
"Do you not know what he's been through? What he's been through this entire decade?" Dr. Loomis said. This caught Dr. Hoffman's attention.
"Loomis, what are talking about?" Dr. Hoffman asked.
"A Dream Demon has been haunting him…I've dreamed about it too. The Mastermind behind the night of 78'. Behind Jason Voorhees…Behind Michael's suffering," Dr. Loomis said.
"I think that's quite enough, Loomis. Having dreams are nothing but the brain playing tricks on you," Hoffman said, not really believing Dr. Loomis. No one seemed to take Loomis seriously, despite the truth in his words.
The phone began to ring on Dr. Hoffman's desk. Dr. Loomis remained silent as he looked to the ground. Dr. Hoffman then picked up the phone and answered it.
"Yes, Dr. Hoffman," Hoffman said on the phone. There was some muttering on the phone. But one word stuck out. "Michael Myers".
"I see…I see, Thank you," Dr. Hoffman said as he hung up the phone. Dr. Loomis looked at Hoffman as if he already knew what had happened.
"Apparently there was an accident down near-" Hoffman said but was cut off when Loomis started to walk off.
"Loomis…Loomis!" Hoffman said trying to get his attention. But Dr. Loomis knew better. Something happened to Michael…It had to be him…Freddy Krueger.
Out near a large bridge…
A Police Trooper put down a flare in the middle of the road. Dr. Loomis's car with Dr. Hoffman in it drove down the road. Another Trooper started to put yellow police tape around the area.
The car that Dr. Loomis and Dr. Hoffman drove in, pulled up into a wide opening, where Troopers were searching the crash.
Dr. Hoffman and Dr. Loomis got out of the car.
"Is that it?" Dr. Loomis said as he pointed to the ambulance that had flipped over.
"Yes…When did this happen?" Dr. Hoffman asked the Trooper near him.
"Some time in the Night. Probably slipped off the road in the storm, and fell into the bank. It happened," The Trooper said.
"An Accident?" Dr. Hoffman asked.
"Yes sir," The Trooper said.
"Do you believe that?" Dr. Loomis said as he walked closer to the ambulance that was down in the shallow water.
"Why shouldn't I?" Dr. Hoffman asked.
"How many people in the bus?" Dr. Loomis asked.
"Four, plus Myers," Dr. Hoffman said as they stood over the hill that would go down into the bank.
Dr. Loomis then turned to the Trooper.
"How many bodies did you find?" Dr. Loomis asked.
"It's hard to tell, they're all chewed up," The Trooper said. Dr. Loomis turned to the Ambulance.
Michael couldn't have done this…no…this was Freddy's doing. He must've possessed one of the people on the Bus when they fell asleep. Killed everyone except Michael.
Dr. Loomis started walking down the small bank.
"Loomis…Loomis, it's over, leave it alone," Dr. Hoffman said. But Dr. Loomis wasn't listening. He needed to see for himself what had happened.
Dr. Loomis shuffled through the knee-deep water as he looked into the destroyed medical bay. Dents and blood everywhere. The stretcher was completely destroyed.
Dr. Loomis then walked away from it as he walked back to The Trooper and Dr. Hoffman.
"He's gone…he's been here…and he's gone," Dr. Loomis said.
"Did you find any other bodies?" Dr. Hoffman asked.
"Can't be for sure, there's a lot of ground to cover," The Trooper said.
"You won't find him…Freddy Krueger's done all this…Now, Michael's escaped," Dr. Loomis said. Dr. Hoffman, however, wasn't convinced.
"You don't know that…Myers could have been thrown from the bus," Dr. Hoffman said.
"I've seen bodies thrown thirty to fifty feet from a crash," The Trooper said.
"Even if by some Miracle Myers is conscious, his muscles would be totally useless…Give the Troopers a chance to search," Dr. Hoffman said. Dr. Loomis turned to Dr. Hoffman.
"You're talking about him as if he were a human being…That Part of him died a decade ago," Dr. Loomis said as he started walking to the car.
"Now, where are you going?" Dr. Hoffman asked.
"Haddonfield is a four-hour drive. You can reach me through the Local Police…If you don't find him within four hours…I'm sure I will," Dr. Loomis said as he walked to the car.
