Dracula and Michael made their way through the many corridors. Michael was silent the entire way through the corridors.
"As much as I'm enjoying the silence, Michael, I find it slightly annoying," Dracula said.
"I don't normally speak to….well anyone. I'm not a very good conversationalist, nor am I good at party planning. Plus, What would you like me to say? This situation really doesn't have much to say with words." Michael rambled on.
"Okay, now I'm starting to miss the silence," Dracula complained.
They tried a few secret passages. One of which led to a lice couple. Dracula apologized as best as he could for invading their privacy.
They tried again and this time led to a female skeleton a shower. She then screamed loudly.
"I'm so sorry! I did not mean to" Dracula was cut off when a male skeleton who was the husband of the female skeleton entered the shower.
"What is wrong with you people!?" The skeleton said in anger as he threw a sponge at Dracula's face. Right before the secret entrance shut.
They walked down the corridor yet again and made it to another switch.
"Alright, Third time's a-," Dracula said as he pulled the lever and it revealed Frank the Frankenstein, Wayne the Werewolf, Murray The Mummy, and Griffin The Invisible Man beating up three zombies.
Frank threw a zombie at an electric generator. Murray was bouncing up and down on a zombie slamming his head into the ground. While Wayne and his kids were attacking another zombie, The zombie was in Wayne's mouth as he thrashed at it back and forth.
Dracula tried to pull the lever down so that it would shut. It wasn't until Frank noticed Dracula.
"Drac?" Frank said. Dracula immediately pushed Michael to the side to hide him from the group.
"Yes, Franky?" Dracula said nervously.
"What've you been up to, buddy?" Frank asked.
"Don't move," Dracula said to Michael very quietly.
"Never mind that! What are you doing?!" Dracula said as he walked forward to the group.
"We wanted to rehearse our big number for Mavis's party, but these three lamos wouldn't get off the stage," Wayne said with a zombie in his mouth as his kids continued to nag on its arm and leg.
"Alright, put down Zombie Mozart, Bach, and Beethoven this instant," Dracula said. With that, Frank threw the zombie with one hand. Murray booty-bumped one zombie back to the ground. And Wayne spat the zombie out of his mouth.
"Did you get to rehearse at all Zombie Beethoven?" Dracula asked.
Zombie Beethoven did a few groans in a symphony rhythm.
"Listen Drac, we wanted to do a little something different, and we wanted to play a song of our own, you know, like old times. We even thought you might join." Wayne said.
"Come on fellas, You know I haven't sung since….Martha…" Dracula said.
"Yeah, but you know, we just thought, how much Mavis would love it," Frank said.
"I Said No *ROARS* Don't Ask Me Again!" Dracula said sternly.
"Okay, now let's hug the zombies and all make up," Dracula said as he went back over to the zombies.
"Wow, he really scared you," Wayne said to Frank.
"I wasn't scared, I was being polite," Frank said and with that Frank, Wayne, Murray, and Griffin went over to hug the zombies as Dracula told them to.
Michael watched the entire scene play out from behind the wall. He tilted his head in curiosity.
"Hey, what are you doing, I thought you were planning?" Mavis said as she was hanging upside down on the ceiling.
"I, uuuh, I never caught your name," Michael said nervously.
"My name's Mavis," Mavis said.
"Mavis, that's a beautiful name," Michael said with awe. He was now questioning himself for the way he was acting. I mean, when it came to women, Michael wasn't very good at conversating with young girls, even though this girl was technically 40 years older than him.
"Thanks, my Mom picked it for me. So are you gonna tell me your name?" Mavis asked.
"I, uuuh, I'm…..Michael Myers The Boogeyman." Michael said to Mavis. Monsters wouldn't know anything about who he was so he was fine with sharing his full name. Especially with this girl. Michael was a bit stumped by how he was acting. The two girls he had met back in 1978, were different from this girl. Especially his deceased sister, Judith Myers.
"Michael, huh? A bit of an odd name for The Boogeyman, but I like it." Mavis said.
"Hey, Mavis." A female spider said to Mavis. Catching Michael off guard as he flinched and fell backward. He then fell on a table, smashing it to pieces and revealing him out in the open. Causing everyone to draw their attention to The Masked Man.
Frank stomped his way angrily towards Michael as The Boogeyman slowly sat up. Dracula got in front of Frank.
"Who is that?" Frank said angrily as he pointed to Michael angrily.
"I think your friends are gonna try to kill me…not that it's going to work," Michael whispered to Dracula.
"As long as they think you're a monster you should be fine," Dracula whispered back.
"...Isn't that kinda racist?" Michael said.
"We'll talk later," Dracula said. Michael then got up on his feet while masking his humanity from everyone.
"Well, Drac, who is this guy?" Frank said sternly.
"He's Michael The Boogeyman," Mavis said as she sat up on the stage.
"Yes, Michael here is The Boogeyman," Dracula said reassuringly.
"Bit unusual name for The Boogeyman, but I like it. Nice to meet ya, Michael." Frank said as he used both of his hands to shake Michael's left arm. Bouncing him up and down as Frank shook his hand.
Mavis made a small laugh, more like a giggle.
"So what brings you here, Michael?" Griffin said. This caught Michael's attention.
"Are you the Invisible Man?" Michael said.
"Yep, that was me. Now sorry, but, uh, What brings you here Michael?" Griffin asked.
"I was recruited by Dracula for a Party Planner for Mavis's birthday," Michael said reassuringly.
"Yes, I hired The Boogeyman to help me with the party," Dracula said reassuringly.
"Hold on, you asked someone to help, you?" Murray asked with confusion and concern.
"Captain control freak," Wayne said.
"It's count, and yes, I thought having a Mavis Contemporary would be helpful," Dracula said.
"Yep, And of Course since Mavis's party could get a few better perspectives," Michael said to the group. Dracula gave a dark look towards Michael. But Frank, Wayne, and Murray had excited expressions.
"Alright, Michael, Mr. Tight Coffin over here wanted these three lamos to play for Mavis's party," Wayne said to Michael as the three zombies just to the side of them gave saddened faces.
"So we thought we could play for the party," Frank said as he hugged Wayne and Murray with huge smiles on their faces.
"You all can play? Alright, let's check you guys out!" Michael said with a little bit of interest.
Frank, Wayne, Murray, and Griffin sang the song they came up with. The song was: Where Did The Time Go, Girl. The lyrics were good and all, but the rhythm was out of tune.
Michael found it a bit boring and out of tune. Even Mavis, including Dracula, found it out of tune as well.
"Well, Michael, what did you think?" Frank asked nervously. Griffin, Wayne, and Murray looked at him with nervous but also curious expressions.
"Hmmm, I like the lyrics. The lyrics are good. But I think you need to step up the tune just a bit." Michael said as he got up on the stage.
"Wayne, let me try the piano real quick. Before we go to your song," Michael asked Wayne.
"Alright, here ya go," Wayne said obediently. Michael sat down on the seat and then with one hand he started to play his classic theme song.
Halloween Theme music plays as Michael plays the piano
After a few short moments. Everyone started to grow slightly interested in the music that The Boogeyman was playing. Wayne, Frank, Murray, and Griffin were getting excited about how The Boogeyman was playing this kind of music.
Michael then finished up the song and got off of the seat.
"That was just a taste of what was yet to come. Now, Murray, can I borrow your Guitar?" Michael asked.
"Sure, have at it," Murray said as he handed Michael his guitar.
"Let me show you what kind of music I really listen to. Wayne give me a kick-start!" Michael said. Frank then kicked Michael in the back, sending him backstage.
Michael poked his head out from the curtains.
"Not that kind of kick-start, Frank!" Michael said, earning yet another small laugh from Mavis.
Wayne then started to play some piano, and Michael then started to do Heavy Metal & Rock Music. All the while banging his head up and down, all the while trying to keep his mask from falling off. The entire room started to fill in as everyone was enjoying this new music that they'd never heard of. Everyone was amazed and surprised. Dracula was the only one who was not happy/surprised.
"I am so blown away! You're a madman Michael!" Mavis said with excitement.
"I think, The Boogeyman here, is gonna make this the Best. Party. EVER!" Frank said as he picked up Michael and got closer to his face with each word he said.
Everyone got really excited as the whole room started chattering.
"We're not doing any of that! We've got to stay on schedule!" Dracula said sternly as he hovered over everyone.
"Alright, dad, alright….Michael, you're coming too, Aren't you?!" Mavis said with excitement as the whole room started chattering again.
"I don't know….uuuh," Michael said but fell on deaf ears due to the amount of chattering in the room.
Dracula then gave a dark look towards Michael.
Karen's Home….Haddonfield, Illinois…
Karen was the daughter of Laurie Strode. She pulled into her driveway as Halloween was just a day away. She needed to get the family dinner ready for Halloween.
When she got into the house, Ray was outside working on birdhouses in the backyard. Karen put her purse on the kitchen table and took off her coat. Just then she was startled by Laurie.
"Gotcha ya!" Laurie said as she came down from the stairs. Karen gasped.
"You're dead," Laurie said. She was testing Karen to see if she had reflexes from what she was taught in her childhood.
"You scared me. What are you doing in my house?" Karen said as Ray came back in the house through the door to the backyard.
"You mean how did I get in your house? Ray, you have no security in anything, your windows are open. I can't tell between your stupidity or your ignorance?" Laurie said.
"Okay, so first of all, what exactly did I miss, and two I can take care of my family so-" Ray was however interrupted when Laurie said.
"The bus crashed." She said simply.
"What bus?" Karen asked.
"Forget all about that we need to get out of here, where's Allyson?" Laurie asked. But Ray and Karen simply were not interested. They were more interested in the gun Laurie was holding. More so that it could get out of the house.
"Put down that gun," Ray said. But Laurie said.
"Hey, hey, back off!" she said as she pointed the gun towards Ray.
"Put down that gun, you're in my house," Ray said as he walked towards her to try and put the gun down.
"Mom, you need help and you are not welcome in this house until you get it!" Karen said.
"I have tried to train you and prepare for you, now we have to hunt him down!" Laurie said. She knew well who she was referring to.
But Karen wasn't buying it.
"And I am trying to get a family dinner ready for tomorrow. The world is not a dark and evil place, it is full of love and happiness. And I'm not going to let your paranoia convince me otherwise." Karen said as she got Laurie out the door.
"Take the gun," Laurie said as she tried to give Karen the gun.
"No, you need to go. Get out!" Karen said as she shut the door with Laurie left outside.
