Hospital Hallways…

Karen slowly opened her eyes. She groaned slightly in pain from the slash she took from Jason. She then heard footsteps, they weren't loud but they were still getting closer. Karen turned her head to see…Jimmy. Who saw her in return. He then ran toward her fast.

"Karen, Thank God. Look we need to get out of here, alright…I'm going to get you out of here," Jimmy said as he gently put his arms under Karen's legs and then her back lifting her up, bridal style. Jimmy then walked back the way he came, to the exit of the Hospital. Karen held onto him as she had no words to speak.

The storm outside only continued to worsen as more thunder and lightning struck down. The rain was never-ending.

On the other Wing of the Hospital…

Michael was carrying Laurie, bridal style, he sped up and walked down the hallway, with Dr. Loomis following just a few inches behind. Dr. Loomis then opened the door to their left. Holding it open so that Michael could walk through. When he did, Loomis shut the door behind him and locked it. Michael made his way down the hallway toward a room. With Dr. Loomis following not far behind.

Jason then got to the door that was locked. He started banging on it. He then swung his machete down on the door, rocking it violently, but also putting in a massive slash mark on it, breaking it slightly.

Michael and Dr. Loomis made it into the room. Where there were pipes and irrigation everywhere.

Michael then sat down Laurie in the corner of the room, with Dr. Loomis guarding the door with his six-shooter. He pulled out another gun and tried to give it to Laurie.

"Laurie, you need to take it, use it as a last resort, only shoot it if he's attacking you," Dr. Loomis said as he tried to give Laurie the gun. But Laurie didn't take it. She looked to Michael who was watching them both. He then nodded his head, telling her to take it.

Laurie then looked back at Loomis and took the gun.

Dr. Loomis then turned to the door as Jason was slowly breaking through with his machete.

Michael stood next to him. Michael didn't have a weapon, he didn't know how much Jason would take before he was killed. But…Tonight was the night…this is the night Michael and Jason would end their rivalry and hatred. Either Michael would reign victorious, or Jason would reign triumphantly. One way or another…One Would Die…and One Would Live…

Dr. Loomis then turned to Michael.

"I'm…sorry, Michael…for everything…" Dr. Loomis said as he looked away from Michael. Michael turned his head slowly to Loomis, slightly confused by what he meant.

"15 years of failure…failure to keep you safe…failure to protect you…failure to release you from that prison. You were like a son to me, Michael…I just wanted you to know that…I take full responsibility for your innocence. Fifteen years of your childhood…gone…all because of a crime you never committed…I'm sorry, Michael, truly…but my apologies mean nothing to you, I assume," Dr. Loomis said, getting quite emotional with Michael.

Michael was shocked, to say the least, he may not be expressing it but deep within, he was shocked…He never blamed anyone but Jason Voorhees for his imprisonment at Smith's Grove. Dr. Loomis was taking full responsibility for Michael's custody…even though Dr. Loomis had nothing to do with it. All Dr. Loomis wanted to do was to help Michael. He did just that…He may not have succeeded, but he didn't fail either. Michael was always born differently compared to other children.

He took pride in that…he always will…He had people around him…Dr. Loomis is a father figure, and Laurie…the love of his life.

A loud CRASH! Wood splintering and breaking were heard from the end of the hallway. Michael and Dr. Loomis jerked their heads toward the origin of the sound. Seeing Jason Voorhees had broken through. Jason turned to see Michael and Loomis down in a room.

Michael clenched his fists. Dr. Loomis moved his finger over the trigger.

"Jason dies tonight, here and now," Dr. Loomis said as Jason advanced toward them. Slowly. Taking heavy steps down the hallway.

CH CH CH CH HA HA HA HA CH CH CH CH HA HA HA HA

Jason breathed heavily as he continued to advance down the hallway. His grip tightened on his machete.

Michael stood ready, and Loomis aimed his six-shooter at the monster.

Once Jason was close enough, he swung his machete at Michael, who dodged it quite easily, moving to the side as the machete slammed down on the concrete floor, but didn't get stuck. Dr. Loomis backed up to put some distance between him and Jason. Michael then punched Jason in the face with a right hook. Which was quickly followed by a gut punch with a left hook. Hitting Jason in the chest. Michael then grabbed Jason by the back of the head and threw him into some pipes, breaking a few of them as air steamed out. Jason leaned on the wall, looking at Michael. Jason then quickly got up from the wall, power-walking toward Michael. He swung his machete as Michael caught his arm. Michael then twirled Jason's arm around, going behind him. He then rammed his knee into Jason's right arm, breaking his arm and dropping the machete.

Jason tried to punch Michael with his left arm, but he was out of reach. Michael then rammed his knee into Jason's side, hitting his liver. Michael hit him hard enough that Jason fell to one knee. With Jason on one knee, Michael grabbed the back of his collar, then the belt around his pants. Michael started lifting Jason up off the ground as he held him up in the air. Michael had grown much stronger in just a short span of time, he didn't know why though, something just triggered him, turned him on like a secret, silent alarm.

Michael then slammed Jason into the wall where the pipes and irrigation were. Hitting it hard as pipes started to blow out heavy steam. Which then followed up with another slam into the pipes and irrigation, causing heavy steam and gas to spew out. Soon after, Michael slammed Jason down on the ground. Creating a large crack in the tile floor. Even skating the integrity of the floor.

Jason, however, proved more durable than that. Jason slowly got back on his feet, in the process, he grabbed his right arm and relocated back to its original position. He clenched his right fist tightly, loosening the muscles up. Jason then jerked his head toward Michael as he got back on his feet and power-walked straight at The Boogeyman. Jason quickly grabbed Michael by the throat, both choking and slamming him into the wall. Michael grabbed Jason's arms as he tried to remove them from his throat. Jason slammed Michael's back head into the wall several times.

Dr. Loomis fired his Six-shooter at Jason. Hitting him in the shoulder, causing him to flinch and fall forward slightly, loosening the grip around Michael's throat. Michael then rammed his knee into Jason's face, breaking his nose as blood splattered out of his mask. Jason was slightly dazed as he sat back up on his head. He was slightly dizzy, only to be met by Michael slamming his head into Jason's. Causing Jason to fall backward flat on his back.

Michael then looked at the machete lying on the ground. He walked over to it and picked it up slowly. Gripping it tightly.

Jason lied on the ground, motionless. Michael raised the machete over Jason's neck as he prepared to decapitate the monster.

Unbeknownst to Michael, Jason's hands began to clench.

"Jason, My sweet boy…You cannot die…You can never die…Rise, Jason…RISE! RISE!" The Voice of Jason's mother was heard.

Michael slashed down at Jason's neck, only for Jason to roll over out of the way. Quickly getting back up on his feet, Michael went for another slash, only for The machete to be smacked out of Michael's hand, Michael's face was met with a powerful punch from Jason. Dr. Loomis aimed the gun at Jason. Pulling the trigger…but Jason grabbed Michael by the neck and used him as a human shield. The bullets hit Michael in the chest. Putting small bullet holes in Michael's front body. Dr. Loomis's eyes widened in shock.

Without much less hesitation, Jason wrapped his arms around Michael's neck. Michael kicked in the air to try and free himself, but Jason's grip was strong. Michael rammed his shoulder into Jason's side, causing The Mask to let out a grunt. Jason then tightened his grip, then snapped Michael's neck with loud sounds of bone snapping. Michael slowly fell to his knees and fell to the ground on his side.

"NOOOO!" Laurie shouted once more. This caught the attention of Jason as he slowly turned his head toward Laurie, who was sitting in a corner.

Dr. Loomis tried to load his six-shooter quickly. The sounds of bullet loading caught Jason's interest. He jerked his head toward the doctor.

Dr. Loomis had loaded his gun and he aimed it at Jason.

Jason smashed his fist against the pipes as steam spewed out at Dr. Loomis. Dr. Loomis shielded himself as the steam covered his line of sight.

Dr. Loomis attempted to shoot at Jason with the steam in his path. Once the steam cleared, Jason was right in front of his face. Dr. Loomis let out a gasp of shock. He was then stabbed through his side by Jason's Machete. Though it didn't go very deep. Dr. Loomis let out a gasp of pain as he froze in place. He slowly backed up as Jason walked with him. He then looked into Jason's eyes. Jason then gently pulled out the machete as Dr. Loomis had trouble balancing himself, before crashing onto the ground.

Jason slowly turned his head to Laurie who was terrified, to say the least. She tried to wedge herself deeper into the corner but found it fruitless. Jason slowly walked to Laurie, taking heavy footsteps.

"Jason…" Laurie said softly. Jason stopped and tilted his head. Why did she sound like his mother right then and there? Jason tilted his head once more, this time to the other side.

Just then, Pamela Voorhees appeared behind Jason. At least in Jason's mind.

She slowly walked behind Jason.

"Kill her, Jason. Make her suffer," Pamela Voorhees said. Jason finally realized that his real mother had given him the order. Jason slightly turned his head behind him as his Mother was gone.

He then turned to Laurie and proceeded to walk toward her. His grip on the machete tightened.

Laurie then grabbed the six-shooter that Dr. Loomis gave her and shot it twice. Hitting Jason in his eyes. Causing Him to jerk back two times as the bullets hit his eyes.

Jason staggered back. For a moment, Jason stood still as he clenched his eyes. Laurie kept the gun aimed at him, in case he were to make another attack. Jason slowly raised his head up as blood started gushing out from his eyes. He started to swing aimlessly, hitting the concrete walls and thin air.

Laurie tried to make as little sound as possible, that way Jason wouldn't hear her and attack her.

Meanwhile, Dr. Loomis slowly crawled to a Hydrogen Tank. He then slowly turned the small wheel and made some squeaking noises. Catching Jason's attention as he continued to swing aimlessly around the room.

Meanwhile, on the ground, Michael popped his neck from side to side. Readjusting his bones. He slowly sat up straight. He slowly turned toward Jason who was swinging around aimlessly. He turned to Laurie, who was trying to turn the wheel of a Hydrogen Tank. Dr. Loomis was doing the same.

So this is how they would kill him…If it means going out in a blaze of glory, taking Jason with him. Michael would do it with a smile on his face.

Michael slowly got up on his feet and made as little noise as possible. Which was easy for him.

The sound of Hydrogen seeping out from the tanks was heard. Not to mention that the pipes also had Hydrogen in them.

Michael walked to the other side of the room and smashed the large hydrogen pipes with one hand. Causing heavy steam to shoot out at Jason. Covering him with Hydrogen. This got Jason's full attention and he started swinging aimlessly in the direction of Michael.

Jason went for a blind swing…But was caught by Michael, which was followed by a punch in the face. Then followed to an elbow ram in the side of the head. Michael then slammed the machete in Jason's hand into the concrete. Stuck to the tile floor. Jason went for a blind punch but Michael stepped to the side as Jason punched the wall, breaking his wrist. Jason clenched his hand as he tried to relocate it. But was interrupted when Michael wrapped his arms around Jason's shoulders, keeping him in place.

He kept him near the middle of the room where the biggest explosion would occur.

"Laurie! RUN! GO!" Dr. Loomis shouted. Laurie hesitated as she looked at Michael. Tears slowly began to fill her eyes.

"NO! I CAN'T LEAVE HIM!" Laurie shouted.

"GOOO!" Michael shouted with emotional pain. Laurie shook her head in sadness as her entire face began to water with tears.

"GOO!" Michael shouted as Jason continued to try and escape from Michael's heavy grasp.

Laurie then got up on her feet and limped to the door. Leaving the room. Once she was out. Dr. Loomis pulled out a lighter.

"This ends here, Jason! We will all die HERE!" Dr. Loomis shouted as he lit the lighter.

BBBBBBBOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMM!

A Huge explosion filled the entire room. Consuming Dr. Loomis, Jason Voorhees, and Michael Myers. Laurie fell forward out of harm's way from the explosion as she fell to the ground and crawled behind a large container. The flames spewed out from the room.

The Explosion was heard across the entire town.

Outside the Hospital…

Wendy had just gotten done contacting what was left of the Police. Janet was cradling the two babies in her arms. Both of them heard a huge explosion from inside the hospital. Catching both of the women's attention.

Back inside the Hospital…

Laurie's eyes filled with tears as she watched the flames roar and spark.

She covered her mouth. At this very moment…she felt…empty… sad…like a part of her was just lost. She then began to weep and cry as all she could hear were the roaring of the flames.

3 hours later…

It was now Morning. Currently, it was 8:00 a.m. Ambulances from across the state had arrived at Haddonfield. The News was everywhere outside of the hospital.

Janet was sitting on the edge of an ambulance. Karen and Jimmy were comforting each other as a Paramedic was wrapping Karen's arm with a bandage. Deputy Gary Hunt was there. Officer Hawkins and his partner Officer Pete. They monitored the crowd.

The Fire Department was there as they tried putting out the flames.

Then, Wendy came out with Laurie in a wheelchair. The News Reporters and Press came forward as they all took pictures. Hawkins intervened and said.

"Hey, back up, give her some space," Hawkins said as he tried to block some of the reporters.

Then the FireFighters brought out a body from the hospital. Laurie looked at the body that was covered by a large fireproof blanket. Laurie then tried to stop the wheelchair gently.

"Wait…please…Is that him?" Laurie as Wendy as she looked at the body that the Firefighters were bringing out. She didn't say anything since she didn't have the words for it.

"Can I see…please…I need to say a last few words to him," Laurie pleaded to Wendy. The Reporters were making sure to capture everything, at least by giving Laurie some space. Wendy then looked at Deputy Gary Hunt. The Deputy turned to the Body as the Firefighters who brought out the body on the stretcher seemed to be paying attention to the conversation.

The Deputy then turned back to Wendy. And nodded his head.

Wendy nodded back as she rolled the wheelchair that Laurie was on to the stretcher.

Once she got to it. Laurie started to shed tears.

"Can I see him?" Laurie said weakly.

The Firefighters looked at each other. After a few short moments, one of them slowly lifted off the cover.

Revealing…The burnt body…of Michael Myers.

His mask was cooked, and the hair on his mask was gone. His jumpsuit was also burnt. His hands were scorched. The Wedding ring on his finger had burnt in and become molded from the intense heat. He wasn't breathing nor was he moving.

Laurie's started to get red, tears began to seep down her cheek.

She then…placed a gentle, caring, loving hand on Michael's scorched hand.

"Thank you…Michael…for everything…" Laurie said as she was getting extremely emotional. She started to cry more visibly. The News got it all from afar.

"Y-...you were the best thing that ever happened to me…You saved my life…more than once…I…I love you, Michael…" Laurie said. Hoping…praying that Michael would wake up…but he remained motionless. Laurie, seeing that he was truly gone placed her forehead on the edge of the stretcher, weeping softly.

Everyone around her couldn't help but mourn and grieve for her. Michael Myers…The Misunderstood Monster…What a Book title that would be.

After a few long moments of silence.

"Ma'am…We…we should get you to a hospital…" Deputy Hunt said placing a caring hand on her shoulder. Laurie, having given her last words, slowly sat up straight. Keeping her eyes on Michael. Wendy was about to take Laurie to the ambulance.

Laurie's hand almost left the stretcher…when she felt something hold her hand gently.

Laurie stopped and turned to the stretcher. Catching everyone's attention.

They heard breathing…coming from…Michael?

The Firefighters looked over at Michael's chest as it started moving up and down. Inhaling and Exhaling.

"Holy shit…This guy's still alive…" One of the Firefighters said. Everyone was shocked as Michael Myers held Laurie's hand gently. Wendy pushed Laurie closer to Michael. Michael, with great difficulty, slowly turned his head toward Laurie. Who was now crying with happy tears.

"Michael…" Laurie said.

"Laurie…" Michael said weakly.

Laurie then embraced Michael with a gentle hug. Putting her arm around his neck. Michael put his head on Laurie's shoulder. Accepting the hug, trying to embrace as well.

No one could believe it…Michael Myers…was Alive…

Suddenly…Michael stopped breathing. But…lightly now. His head returned back to its original position.

Laurie was confused by what just happened. Called out his name.

"Michael?"

No response. He remained motionless and unmoving.

"Michael?" Laurie called out again. Still no Response.

A Firefighter brought out a tiny flashlight. He slowly opened Michael's eyelid, which had closed. He shined the light in his eye. Damn it…of all things that could happen.

"Damn it…" The firefighter said, realizing what had just happened.

"What? What is it?" Deputy Hunt asked as he got closer, concerned about the boy's condition.

The Firefighter looked at Deputy Hunt.

"He…He just went in a Comma…" The Firefighter said.

Deputy Hunt looked at Laurie who was completely shocked at the news. She never took her eyes off of Michael.

"Laurie…" Deputy Hunt said.

Laurie looked to Deputy Hunt.

"It's…Time to go…" Deputy Hunt said. Laurie looked back at Michael. She placed her hand on Michael's, with a caring and loving gesture.

"We'll see each other again…My love," Laurie said. Her hand then slowly left Michael's as Wendy started to push her to the ambulance.

Janet, Karen, and Jimmy had watched the entire scene play out from the ambulances they were on. That Man had saved all of them…He was truly…The Hero of Haddonfield.

Laurie slowly got into the Ambulance as they closed the Door. The Ambulance then slowly started to drive off. Haddonfield had suffered One Nightmare…But who's to say…That Another Nightmare won't appear.
