"Oh, you messed up! You messed up big time baby! I told you to take it down and get out of there!" Dracula said as he carried Michael by the back of his collar with one hand. They entered the Cemetary.
"At least they had fun. I even had fun! And that's saying something!" Michael said as Dracula sat Michael down on his feet.
"That!? That was not fun! Will all the running, spinning, and yelling!? That was not fun!" Dracula said sternly.
"Do you even know what fun is?" Michael asked Dracula without fear.
"I invented fun!" Dracula said.
"The wrong people get to be immortal," Michael said without fear as he turned away from Dracula and crossed his arms.
"Look at me!" Dracula said as he used his cape to cover his mouth.
"You will have no memory of this place, no memory of the monsters you encountered, you will leave this place and never return again," Dracula said as he was trying to use his magic on Michael. Michael stared into Dracula's eyes.
"Threatening me isn't going to change anything," Michael said as he snapped back to reality.
"What? I just used my magic on you. You should have had your memory erased?" Dracula said. Michael was then a bit confused himself.
"Might be the eye blemishes that keep my eyes dark," Michael said, starting to figure out what was keeping him from doing what Dracula said.
"ENOUGH! You listen to me. You will leave this place and never return, you will tell no other human that you meet, because if you do I will find you and suck every ounce of blood until you look like nothing but a deflated Whoopee cushion," Dracula said sternly and threateningly. As he stared into Michael's eyes. But Michael wasn't afraid. Getting his blood sucked didn't concern him all that much.
"Go on and try," Michael said, asking for the challenge. Dracula grew surprised as his eyes widened. But then he sternly stared at Michael.
"But I'll leave, but only because it'll get me out of trouble," Michael said as he walked off. Dracula reverted into his bat form and made his way back to the Hotel.
Michael had been walking for a little bit. He didn't know how far he had to go.
"Ugh, great, First an angry mob was after me, second I get stuck in a hotel with Monsters, Not that staying was a problem, and then three Dracula threatens me if I don't leave. What else is gonna happen?" Michael said as he stopped in between two gravestones. Just then another bat came as it fluttered around Michael.
Michael looked at the bat and let out an exhale of annoyance.
"Really, Dracula? I didn't even make it past the graveyard," Michael said but then the bat turned into Mavis as she sat on one of the tombstones.
"Oh, It's you," Michael said with a bit of relief. She gave a small chuckle. She then got really close to his face.
"Follow me," Mavis said as she then walked around Dracula.
"But…I…can't…I have to leave," Michael said with a bit of disappointment.
"Are you sure? It'll be fun," Mavis said. Michael then felt himself smile under his mask as he let out a small laugh.
"Okay then, I don't see the harm in it," Michael said as he slowly followed Mavis through a tunnel that was shaped like a skull.
They somehow managed to find their way through the chimney of the Hotel. Mavis was the first one to climb out. Michael was a little far behind. His pure muscle mass and his larger body were getting him stuck.
"Can this chimney get any smaller?" Michael said sarcastically as he tried to climb out as best as he could. Earning a small laugh from Mavis.
"You're Dad isn't going to see me, right?" Michael said as he got his upper body out, his lower body was much easier, considering he was thinner on his lower half.
He climbed out as he walked up the roof. He poked his head above the wired railing as Mavis looked up at the sky. Michael scanned the area as he looked around to see if Dracula was around. The good part was, he was nowhere in sight. He then got back on his feet to get a better view of the land.
"Wow," Michael said in awe at the sight of the land. Most of the time he wasn't all that interested in the land that he stood on or walked on. But since coming to the Hotel, he had been getting all kinds of mixed feelings. Many of them were the returning emotions he had all those years ago.
"This looks so similar to the Appalachian Mountains," Michael said as he walked over the railing and made his way down the slope.
"The Appal-what?" Mavis said as she followed Michael.
"The Mountains that start near Canada and go all the way south down on the eastern border of the US. I visited them once, but that was a long time ago," Michael said as he got down on one knee looking off into the distance of the mountain range of Transylvania.
"Were there humans?" Mavis asked.
"Oh yeah, lots of them. Many of them were friendly but some were a bit on edge," Michael said with a small chuckle.
"So did they all bite your toes and shove garlic in your face?" Mavis asked as she too sat down next to Michael.
"No, but some of them threatened me with knives, but I wasn't bothered by it," Michael said as he got on his feet again and looked around the mountain range again.
"It's amazing, you've been everywhere," Mavis said, remembering what had happened in the human village not far from the Hotel.
"Well, not everywhere, I haven't left the Country yet, not saying that I won't leave. But most of my life, I've been locked up in a metal cell. And I kinda just rolled with it, then I finally got out and looked for…something. You're only….121 once, right? Gotta live it," Michael said as he walked to the side of the slope.
Mavis was starting to realize that he was right. You're only that age once and the best way to do it is to live your best.
"Yeah," Mavis said quietly. But Michael heard her. He slightly glanced back at her. They both were locked away from the outside world, but Michael managed to get out more than once. He just wished that it could stay that way. But his mind was starting to juggle around. It was almost as if he was now tired of killing people. That happened as soon as he escaped the bus not 12 hours ago. He felt like killing people seemed wrong. He felt that maybe was time for a change. Maybe he didn't have to be the monster that everyone thought he was? Maybe this was his salvation? But he just wasn't sure when that salvation would come. Just then a beam of light poked behind Michael.
Michael turned around and noticed it was a sunrise was at its peak. He had never really seen a sunrise all that much.
"A sunrise? I bet it's beautiful here," Michael said. The sunlight even managed to make his eyes visible. His eye color was once a pitch blackness, but now it was a passionate pale blue.
"Ow," Mavis groaned in pain slightly. She hugged her legs as the sun burned her feet slightly. Michael snapped out of it as he looked back to Mavis.
"Are you alright? I'm guessing you've never seen a sunrise, have you?" Michael asked.
"No, not really, Why?" Mavis asked.
Michael held out his hand.
"Come on, there's a first time for everything," Michael said as Mavis took Michael's hand. Michael and Mavis went to another Chimney that was larger than the other one they entered through. Michael made sure Mavis stayed in the shadow to prevent her from burning.
Michael then looked at the sunrise with Mavis right behind him.
"Watch," Michael said kindly as the sun slowly started to rise.
Mavis looked at the sunrise. The sun slowly rose from the peak of the mountains. The sun reflected in Mavis's eyes. She looked in awe but in good awe. Michael looked at Mavis and smiled under his mask again. He then looked back at the sunrise too. The sunlight was bright enough to make his eyes visible. His eye blemishes were completely useless at this point. His blue eyes shined bright. He even went as far as to tilt his head at the sunrise.
Inside the Hotel…
Dracula, Frank, Griffin, Wayne, and Murray along with Blobby were in a nice steamy room. They had towels on them as they relaxed inside the nice steamy room.
Dracula let out a sigh of relaxation.
"Didn't I tell you guys we would have fun in here? Is this not the best?" Dracula said as Blobby pulled a piece of himself off and put it on the coal fire pit that made the steam. Only for that small part of him to reform back in its place.
Wayne was in a bathrobe as he panted heavily with his tongue sticking out.
"Yeah, I'm working up a nice sweat. When's Michael gonna be done party planning? He's a great hanger," Wayne said.
"Yeah, he's an animal. And it was so nice seeing Mavis laughing and hitting it off with him," Frank said.
"Who's hitting what off? Please, Mavis could never be with someone of his kind," Dracula said.
Frank then widened his eyes.
"His kind? So you're saying his kind's not good enough? You're lordship," Frank said.
"What's the matter with his Kind, Drac Bat?" Murray the Mummy asked.
"Oh no no, Frank, I didn't mean, What I meant was she wouldn't be interested in someone with curly hair or grey skin," Dracula said.
"Uh, What's wrong with curly hair?" Griffin asked.
"Why are you getting upset?" Dracula asked Griffin.
"I have Curly hair!" Griffin said as his glasses bent a bit in anger.
"Well, how was I supposed to know that?!" Dracula said again.
"And what's wrong with grey skin? Huh, don't you think Frank will be offended?" Wayne asked also a bit upset.
"Sounds like his kind is more like our kind?" Frank said also getting more upset.
Back on the rooftop of the Hotel…
Michael and Mavis continued to stare in awe at the beautiful scenery of the Sunrise. Michael noticed the sun was rising further. He then backed up behind Mavis as he held his hands under her elbows. Gently moving her back so the sun wouldn't harm her.
She continued to look in awe at the sunrise.
"This is the most incredible thing I have ever seen," Mavis said. Michael smiled under his mask again.
*CRASH*
Without even a single squeak, the roof under Michael's feet collapsed as he fell straight through the roof. Leaving Mavis on top.
"Michael?!" Mavis said as she looked down at the hole made by Michael.
Back inside the Hotel…
"Look, settle down fellas, this is all a good point, but Michael he left," Dracula said.
"Wait a minute, he left?" Murray asked in both confusion, suspicion, and anger.
"Yes, he decided that he didn't like Mavis or anyone else," Dracula said as he sat back. Only for Michael to fall straight through the roof and land in Dracula's arms.
Michael gained some sense of where he was and saw Dracula.
He let out a sigh of annoyance.
"Good Day, you're lordship," Michael said sternly as he looked away from Dracula. Dracula had an angered face.
Frank then got close to them and said.
"Hm, I guess Michael had second thoughts," Frank said.
