Goddamn, y'all loved the first chapter didn't you? I bet I pissed a few of you off with that cliffhanger last chapter. Alright then I'll give you the next one. Shoutout to my big bro bigtrunk for being my beta and let's get right into it.
As always I hope you all enjoy and have a wonderful day.
Silk's fist connected to the possessed man's head while his claws were able to leave slight gashes on her abdomen. The punch had launched the man back down the street while she had landed on the ground below their clash.
She placed a hand on her stomach where he sliced and brought it up to see the palm of her glove covered in blood, she sighed in frustration, 'Damn it, I just washed this, and now I have to sew these holes up.' She thought to herself, annoyed greatly at the extra work she'd have to do later.
She turned her attention back to the symbiote and saw him lying on the ground still, though that changed when he maneuvered his legs so his feet were flat on the ground and his knees bent facing the sky.
Suddenly he pulled himself up without using his arms, only using the strength in his knees and ankles. Once back on his feet he growled again and let out another roar. She had certainly pissed him off now.
Silk fired two web lines at a lamp post above her and used the momentum to push off the post and launch herself at him one more time. Unfortunately for her the symbiote caught her in the solar plexus with a back kick, only it didn't send her away. The kick had knocked the wind out of her and she dropped to her knees right in front of him, desperately trying to catch her breath again.
While she was gasping for air the symbiote grabbed her by the back of the head and slammed it into the concrete before tossing her upwards, causing her to land on the roof of a building.
Silk was finally able to catch her breath and sat up, groaning in the process considering the headache she had gained from getting her face slammed into the road, ' Owwww, the host definitely has some form of training. Did the symbiote already assimilate his memories to counter me?' She thought to herself, wondering what he could know to do such a thing.
The symbiote infected man landed on the roof in front of her while she stood up, and tensed her body if he decided to attack first. He did in fact attack first this time.
His left arm suddenly grew longer and turned into a giant curved blade and it looked very sharp, 'Oh… shit… Peter didn't say symbiotes could do that!' She thought to herself, He lunged forward to stab her but she dodged to the side and went to punch him in the face but he brought his blade up to block it which stopped her punch completely, not budging once or even cracking the blade.
He pulled back and sliced horizontally, trying to bisect her at the waist, luckily for her she flipped back in time to avoid being cut. She landed on the edge of the roof in a crouch and quickly looked back to still see all the bystanders on the sidewalk looking up at her, 'they're in danger if we keep fighting here, I need to get him away from here.' She faced forward again and did a quick scan before she saw a portion of a skyscraper under heavy renovation, if it was the perfect spot to fight and not put anyone else in danger.
He stabbed at her one more time but this time she dodged by jumping over him and began to taunt him, "Hey you walking pile of goo!" Silk yelled, causing him to turn around, "You wanna slice me to bits?! Well you need to catch me first!" With that said she shot a web line and pulled herself upwards and began to swing to the building she saw earlier.
The symbiote let out a roar of frustration before reverting his arm back to normal and began to follow her. He jumped off the building onto the front of another and quickly began to propel himself forward using his claws and feet.
While pulling himself forward to catch up with the superhero, he also used fire escapes to jump forward and was running on all fours again on the side of buildings.
Pushing himself off a building before he ran out of surface, he grabbed onto a flagpole, leveraging himself up and towards the roof of the next building. Once landing he ran even faster, quickly closing in on Silk.
While web swinging the hero looked back to see the symbiote leaping from one roof to another, and was doing so at an alarming rate of speed. Turning back around she thought to herself, 'Please let me get there fast enough,' hoping she could get to her destination before he caught up.
After a few minutes of swinging she had finally made it and was about to swing into an opening but the symbiote had reached her and pounced, tackling her inside from behind.
They landed on the stone floor and rolled before separating in two different directions, once they stopped rolling the two got up and had another stare off. The symbiote used its large peripheral vision and saw a stack of unopened concrete mix off to the side.
He held his arm out as it stretched over to then stack and grabbed a bag before pulling the long arm back and threw it at Silk's feet, causing a smoke screen of dust to appear. Silk's eyes started to water as the dust got in them, she began to rub them to get the debris out.
While she was distracted she was hit from the right by something that caused her to stumble, the next came from her left and sent her to a knee. She stood back up and tried to defend herself before she was kicked in the back, sending her to the floor.
The dust had finally dispersed and Silk struggled to stand but managed to do so. She looked around and saw the symbiote was gone, she suddenly heard… a Tasmanian devil scream? That's what it sounded like at least, the only reason she knew that specific noise was because Naruto had brought her to his job and showed her the types of screams they make.
The screams happened in bursts and sounded like they came from all directions, preventing her from pinpoint the exact location.
While she was searching for the symbiote, if she happened to look up she would see a steel beam, and on that beam was the symbiote monster who was crouching on it. The symbiote gained a malicious smile on his face and let out two tentacles from his wrists and slowly lowered them down toward her before wrapping around her neck and squeezing, cutting off her oxygen and choking her.
Jumping backwards, the monster caused the tentacles to strain against the beam and lifted the hero off her feet and into the air. She kicked her legs out trying to find anything to push off of but she was too far from any structure to do so.
The symbiote let out noises that sounded like it was doing some kind of laugh at her suffering, while being strangled Silk started to let out coughs and gargling. She was somehow able to form words while having the life choked out of her, "H-harder… daddy…"
…
The symbiote slowly let her down, when she reached the ground the tentacles unwrapped from her neck and was pulled back into his wrists.
Silk turned around and looked dead in his big white eyes, both with a blank face, before silently agreeing to not speak of what had just occurred. Glancing in the corner of her she saw a stack of long hollow steel pipes, shooting a web line at it, she quickly pulled one to herself and slammed it against the man's head which caused the pipe to vibrate violently.
The harsh vibrations caused the most pain, the symbiote began to panic and started to unwillingly peel off its host, revealing a red haired, blue eyed man who was Naruto, her boyfriend which made her sigh in relief that it was her boyfriend who was choking her… Before she realized she was fighting the man she loved!
Naruto fell to his knees and began to cough up the symbiote since some of it had gotten in his mouth too. He looked up and saw Silk, a superhero that had made an appearance about 3 years ago. She suddenly pulled her mask down, revealing the face of his girlfriend Cindy, "Naruto! Don't worry baby, I'll save you!" She yelled out, before shooting a web line at him and tried to pull him to herself.
Keyword being tried since the symbiote had a solid grip on its host and had wrapped itself around a support beam. Naruto began to scream in pain, it felt like he was being torn in half from the tug of war that he just so happened to be in the middle of, he tried to reach out to his girlfriend and yelled out her name, "CINDY!" before the symbiote won and pulled its host back and began reforming around him.
"NO! NARUTO!" She screamed in anguish, heartbroken that she might've just lost Naruto after finding him. Once the symbiote had finished reforming around Naruto, it suddenly grew to eight feet tall and gained a large torso, wide shoulders, and larger arms. Cindy had to strain her neck slightly just to look at him, he was bigger than the hulk it seemed. The symbiote let out a deep roar, no longer higher pitched but now sounded like a lion steroids.
Tears stung at her eyes and she whispered to herself, "Naruto… no…" She was still in shock at what happened before she steeled herself, 'I promise, I'll save you from this monster Naruto.' She thought, suddenly she remembered how the vibrations from the pipe had caused the symbiote to fall off in the first place.
She quickly picked up the one she had before and shot a web at another in the stack to use as well. The symbiote slowly stomped over to Cindy while she held two pipes in her hands, once he was close enough she slammed the two pipes together and sent the loud vibrations towards the symbiote, causing it to shake violently and gripped its head in pain.
She continued to slam the pipes against each other until the symbiote fell to its knees, even so Cindy kept going until it fell to the ground and passed out before retreating inside Naruto's body to recuperate.
Cindy rushed over and began to check him over for injuries, seeing none she hugged him tightly, 'I need to get him to a doctor, but I can't take him to hospital. I need someone who specializes in supes.' She thought to herself, before a specific person came to mind, someone she knew would be discreet. Said person still made her groan in dismay but still, he was the only connection she had that could do what she needed.
She needed to pay a visit to the one person that could cause her spider-sense to go crazy to make her horny, she had to see… Peter Parker.
Silk landed on the fire escape of a five story apartment building with Naruto webbed to her back so she could focus on swinging instead of her boyfriend falling to his possible death, though with the symbiote she didn't know if it would let him die.
She peeked through the window to see Peter taking a nap on his couch. Knocking on the glass to gain his attention, he sprung up quickly and looked around his apartment until he saw the figure in the window. Rubbing his eyes to make sure what he was seeing was real, he confirmed that it was Silk, his ex-girlfriend and she had a… dude? On her back. Shrugging off the fact his ex had brought some random unconscious guy to his apartment, he got up and walked over to the window before opening it, allowing her to come inside.
"The hell are you doing here Cindy? You know what happens if we get too close. And what's with the knocked out guy on your back?" Peter asked, wanting to know why she had come to his home considering they hadn't seen each other for over two years now.
Cindy peeled Naruto's body off her back and held him by the back of his legs with one arm and his back with the other, "This is Naruto, my boyfriend. We've been dating for three years and living together for a year and a half. Look Peter, I need your help." She said, with a voice as serious as she could muster after all that had happened today.
Peter set his focus on Cindy and ignored his spider-sense going crazy right now. He assumed the same was happening to her right now but it seemed she was more worried over her lover which was understandable.
"Alright what happened? You wouldn't come to me unless it was serious." Peter said,
Cindy took a shuddering breath before she told him, "He… he's the host of a symbiote." She said, still somewhat shocked by it, "I don't know how he got it or where but when I found him he was on a rampage. He wasn't the one in control either. I didn't even know it was him until I had moved the fight away from any innocents."
"He's a host?!" Peter yelled, completely taken off guard by the statement, "Which symbiote was it? Venom? Toxin? God forbid, Carnage?!" He started becoming hysterical before Cindy briefly held up Naruto with one arm to slap Peter.
"Calm down, no it wasn't any of them. It was a black symbiote but it wasn't Venom. No big white spider, just completely black with white eyes and a mouthful of sharp teeth." Cindy stated, already getting tired of Peter's antics.
Peter rubbed where he was slapped before letting out a sigh of relief, "I'm calm, lay him on my couch so I can run a few tests. Hopefully we can remove the symbiote and get it into a secure containment unit." He said, ready to help his old fling and her lover.
Doing as he said, Cindy laid Naruto on the couch gently. While Peter left the room to grab some equipment, she had gotten on her knees and lowered her mask, staring at the face of the man she had just been fighting today. She started to blame herself for this, God if she had just been with him she could've prevented this from happening! Cindy didn't want him to be dragged into this part of her life, she just wanted him to acknowledge it and accept that it came with dating her.
Cindy placed a hand on Naruto's and kissed him on the cheek before whispering into his ear, "I'm so sorry, this never should have happened to you." She laid her head on his chest and closed her eyes, listening to his heartbeat which had slowed considerably. When they would go to bed she would normally lay her head on his chest and listen to the beating of his heart. It had become a constant for her and was like a lullaby she had grown accustomed to.
Cindy had almost fallen asleep but Peter tapped her on the shoulder to gain her attention, "I got all my equipment set up, I'm ready whenever you are."
She sighed but nodded and stood up, "Let's do this, I want that thing out of him as soon as possible." Peter gave an affirmative response and began his first set of tests.
It had taken about three hours for Peter to complete all of his tests, Naruto had slept through them all, the results of said tests had reached one conclusion and it was not a good one.
Peter ran a hand through his hair and sighed in frustration before he decided to get it over with and tell Cindy the bad news. He grabbed a chair from his kitchen and placed it down in his living room. Sitting down he put his elbows on his thighs and rested his chin on his fist.
"I have some news Cindy and it's not good news unfortunately, God how do I put this?" He said while rubbing his forehead, not knowing how to say it gently.
"Just spit it out already Peter, if it concerns Naruto then I need to know." She said from her seat on the floor, back against the couch.
Peter dropped his head and sighed before sitting up, "Well… the symbiote can't be removed, he's a perfect host. He's such a perfect host that they're already bonded to a molecular level. The only way for them to separate was if it was willing on both ends." He said with a grave undertone, truly he had never seen something like this.
Cindy had frozen in shock before going into a short sort of denial, "No… no that can't be true! Run the tests again! He can't possibly be stuck with this creature!" She yelled, absolutely distraught at this information.
Peter sighed once more, "Cindy no matter how many times I run them they'll just come back the same. This is something you'll have to accept," he said, standing up. He walked to his bedroom door and opened it, before walking inside he turned back to Cindy, "Stay as long as you need to, once he wakes up come get me so I can explain a few things to him." With that said, Peter entered his room to finish his nap.
It was indiscernible to tell what Cindy was feeling now but she had curled into a ball and simply placed her head on her knees, she didn't know what to say. She just wished Naruto would wake up soon.
He had been walking for awhile now, he didn't quite know he got here. The only thing Naruto remembered before appearing in this place was him trying to help that sentient blob when he blacked out. After that he had woken up and saw his girlfriend Cindy dressed as that superhero Silk before blacking out again and waking up here. He had filed that away to bring up later with her. That could be a fun role play in bed.
Naruto had been walking down a well lit corridor ever since he had gotten here. Occasionally he would come across a door like the one to his right. Turning to face it, he reached forward and grabbed the doorknob before twisting it open.
He cracked it open and heard music, he knew this music. He pushed the door open fully and saw he was back at the circus. He had come here as a child with his parents, the fun he had here was unimaginable. Oh how he loved the circus. The contortionist, the acrobats, the trapeze artists, the tightrope walking, and the animals. The animal acts are what inspired him to become a zookeeper.
When he had learned how the circus trained animals it had broken his heart. Now whenever he had any big cat rescues transferred to his section he made sure to treat them with the respect they deserved. The only time he's ever hurt a big cat was when it had attacked him first and he needed to defend himself.
"Hm," He let out a hum and gained a small smile, he had almost forgotten this day, "I should take Cindy to the Big Apple Circus in Central Park, I've heard they don't use exotic animals." He said to himself, closing the door he continued walking down the corridor.
Naruto had come by a few more doors, each containing memories, some old, some new, the most recent one he had found was the one that held the memory of his first date with Cindy. After lunch they had gotten ice cream and took Riley to the dog park. Normally Riley would want to play fetch but this time he had gone to socialize with other dogs. It was the first time he had done that, it had surprised Naruto but he was grateful for it.
Moving on he came across one more door. He opened this one as well, and saw his old apartment. It was spartan like, as if another person living there had suddenly left. Ah… he knew what day this was. He fully walked into this memory, looking out the window he saw the cloudy sky, God was that cliché, a depressing day that had depressing weather.
He walked around the memory of his old apartment, once his lease was up on this one he had gotten a new place to share with Cindy, a new home to share with her. A fresh start for him too.
He made his way to the living room and saw a note on the TV, walking to it he grabbed said and read the two giant words written on the paper, 'I'M SORRY- F' he scoffed at the note and ripped it in half, it might have been a memory but it still satisfied him.
Deciding he had seen enough, Naruto left the memory. Once he exited he no longer saw the corridor he had been walking through during his time here. All he could see now was darkness. He could still see his own body but everything else was pitch black.
Suddenly two humongous white eyes along with a giant mouth appeared, just one of the eyes was bigger than him and the mouth looked like it could swallow him whole.
As a New Yorker and a marine this didn't surprise him that much, "Uh hey there, are you that blob I tried to help earlier?" He asked, deciding to not waste any time and get right into it.
The symbiote sweat dropped at how casual he was about this before responding, "Yes… I am… I'm sorry… for attaching… to you… like that.." It had felt much guilt at doing such a thing, "I know… you were… only… trying to… help… I was hungry… and needed… to feed on… your adrenaline."
Naruto waved off the apology, not too concerned about it. Though he was curious, "Don't worry about it, but I am curious. Why are you talking like that?" He asked,
"I… did not… know… your language… beforehand… give me a day… and I will get… better at it." The symbiote stated, at least it hoped it could stay that long to fully learn the language.
Naruto nodded at the answer before sitting down like he was on the edge of a building and asking another question, "I see. So do you have a name?"
"No… My species… do not… require names… we share a… hive mind… we have… no use… for individuality."
"Mm that sounds kinda sad don't you think? You're sentient so you have a sense of self." Naruto said, wanting the symbiote to see where he was coming from.
The giant face looked slightly conflicted before answering, "I suppose… you are… correct." The symbiote had never thought about it like that.
"You know, I heard your species need a host to live. Do you want to stay with me? I'm sure we'd have a good time together." Naruto asked, the question had greatly surprised the symbiote, it thought it would be removed forcefully and left to die.
"I would… like that… my previous… hosts… were all… animals… never had… a real… bond." The symbiote said, it would be nice to have a permanent host. The klyntar were emotional beings so they felt any emotions their hosts had but animals only had instinct. No real thoughts.
Naruto smiled at that, this could be fun, "Great. First though we have to set some rules." He stated, causing the symbiote to set its full attention on its host, "First rule: I drive the body unless I give you the keys or it's an emergency. Second: No eating people if I didn't say you could. Third: Let's get along. No need to cause unnecessary friction between us. How does that sound?"
"Sounds fair… I look forward… to our time… together." The symbiote said, before looking past its host, "It seems… You're waking up… I'll speak to you… tomorrow my host… before you go… I have assimilated… the powers… of your peoples… hero Spider-Man… because of my hive mind… anything he can do… you can as well."
Naruto looked up and saw the darkness was fading into light, "Is that so? Alright then, goodbye. We'll come up with a name for you later." With that said, Naruto was engulfed by the light.
Opening his eyes he saw an unfamiliar ceiling. This certainly wasn't his home or a hospital. He turned his head and saw the back of a familiar mop of black hair.
Sitting up he saw his girlfriend Cindy, still in that costume he briefly saw her in. She was curled in a ball on the floor and was dead silent. She didn't even notice that he had awoken and was now kneeling next to her.
He tapped her on the shoulder but got no response. He shook her but still nothing. Then he got an idea, brushing her hair back he exposed her neck and gave it a lick, causing her to let out a small moan before flinching back with a blush.
Looking at said licker Cindy saw it was Naruto before leaping at him and hugging him, "Naruto! You're awake!" She pulled back and began to rapidly kiss him on the cheek and lips, "I was so worried! I didn't know it was you under there!"
Naruto let out a small chuckle and grabbed her shoulders, "I'm okay Cindy, I promise." He said, Cindy let out a sigh and buried her head in his chest.
"I was scared Naruto, I thought I had lost you." She said as he held her while rubbing her hair, he smiled at her concern and kissed the top of her head.
"No need to have fear Cindy, if there's fear, then we'll get scared." Naruto stated, Cindy pulled back to give him a deadpan.
He had a Cheshire grin on his face before continuing, "If you're scared then you'll be fearful."
She deadpanned even harder before responding, "That's the dumbest quote you've ever said, who wrote that and why shouldn't I burn any of their books that you own?"
His grin became larger, "You can't burn any of their books because they don't have any and that quote came from the YouTuber Daithi De Nogla."
Cindy sighed before standing up, forcing him to do so as well and by God did his knees feel great, it was like they were brand new. The same with his back.
Naruto grabbed her hands and looked down at her outfit, it looked real good on her, "So you're a superhero huh?" He asked, mostly rhetorically.
Cindy looked down as well and looked back at him, "Uh yeah I am… I'm sorry I never told you but I promise I was going to today." She said, hoping he would believe the truth.
He shrugged his shoulders and just said, "It's okay."
She had to do a double take at how casual he was about this, "It's… okay? You're not mad that I didn't tell you sooner? I swear I wanted to tell you sooner but I didn't want to lose you and hoped you would accept this part of life." She began to ramble about why she didn't tell the truth but he simply placed a finger on her lips to shush her.
"It's okay Cindy, I understand. You could've put me and Riley at risk if you told me when you weren't ready. I understand your reasoning and I love you for it." Naruto said gently before placing his hand on her cheek, causing her to nuzzle into it.
She looked up at his eyes and saw them shift to white before shifting back to his normal blue, "Hey… I'll be right back, I need to get the guy that treated you real quick so he can tell you a few things."
"Oh? Is this that guy's apartment? And what's his name?" Naruto asked, he'd been curious but held his questions until now.
She nodded, "Yep this is his place, and his name is Peter Parker, an old ex boyfriend of mine."
"Oh I've heard of him, he was the one taking pictures of Spider-Man when he first appeared. He's actually Spider-Man right?"
Cindy's jaw dropped at his statement, "How did you know he was Spider-Man?!"
Naruto rolled his eyes, "Dude it's so obvious that I'm surprised no one else figured it out, how else would he get some of the pictures where Spider-Man is fifty stories in the air."
She opened and closed her mouth repeatedly, trying to come up with a response before she shut down and sat on the couch.
Naruto waved his hand in her face and didn't get a response, shrugging his shoulders he went to the only closed door that wasn't the front and opened it. He saw a man on a bed sleeping on his back and snoring.
Walking up to him, Naruto grabbed him by the shirt and lifted Peter up before carrying him into the living room. This had woke Peter up and had begun to panic until he was thrown into his favorite recliner.
The chair almost tipped over until he maneuvered his weight to the front to balance it out and cause it to land back to its proper position. Peter grabbed his chest to calm his heart rate before looking up and saw the same red haired man who was previously asleep on his couch.
"Uh hey there, do you need something?" Peter asked, slightly nervous since this guy had just thrown him like he was a throw pillow.
Naruto crossed his arms lightly and nodded upwards, "Sup Spider-Man, Cindy said I should talk to you about something."
Peter rubbed his eyes and spoke, "Oh yeah, your new house guest- wait did you just call me Spider-Man?" He stopped mid sentence when he fully comprehended what Naruto said.
"Yep, I mean it makes sense that you're him. How else would you get those mid air pics when he was just starting out?" Naruto stated like it was obvious, which it was.
Peter didn't know what to say about that so he just decided to talk about the symbiote, "Um anyways, in case you didn't know you're infected with an alien species, the same kind as my old enemy Venom or Carnage."
Naruto nodded at that, "I got that part, we talked a little bit and came to an agreement. Also apparently I now have your powers because of it."
Peter tilted his head in confusion, "How did that happen?" He asked,
"They have a hive mind so apparently your powers were assimilated and I have access to them now." Naruto said, deciding it wouldn't hurt to tell him.
"Well that's annoying," Peter stated before leaning back, "whatever, anyways apparently you're a perfect host, so much so that you two are already bonded to a molecular level. The only way to separate you was if it was willing on both sides and since you came to an agreement with it, then I assume neither are quite willing."
That had surprised Naruto a bit but he shook it off, "Wow, a match made in heaven huh? Alright, anything else I should know about my new friend?" He asked, wanting to get as much info as he could.
Peter pulled the reclining switch on the side of his chair, "Only thing you really need to know is that their weak to intense sound and heat, other than that you should be good if you decide to go down the hero route or just want to keep living a regular life."
Naruto nodded before walking over to Cindy, "Cool, thanks for your help. We should get going, come on Cindy." He shook her shoulder which made her snap out of it, "Huh? Where are we going?" She asked,
"Home babe, we're having dinner at my parents tomorrow. You should probably change, I don't think you should be web swinging when distracted like that so we're taking the subway." He stated, letting her know the plan for today and tomorrow.
"Oh alright… um I don't have a spare change of clothing…" She said meekly.
Peter got up and walked into his room before coming back out with clothes in his hand that he tossed to Cindy, "Here you can use Mary Jane's old clothes, she doesn't wear them anymore. They should be your size, you can change in my bathroom. I also have some plastic bags under the sink you can put your costume in." He said, deciding to help them out real quick.
"Thanks Peter," Cindy said before walking into the bathroom. After quickly changing she came back out with a bag in hand.
"Alright we'll get out of your hair now," She said before grabbing Naruto's hand, "Thanks again Peter, I owe you one." With that said the couple left, leaving Mister Parker alone, "You owe me a few Cindy!" He yelled before the door closed all the way.
On the other side the two were walking down the hallway, leaning into one another. Naruto let out a yawn causing Cindy to do the same, "I'm tired," He said, "Me too," Cindy replied.
"When we get home let's take a nap," Naruto said.
"Okay" she replied.
"And just so you know we definitely need to do some role play with your costume." He stated.
Cindy slapped his chest and snorted, "Alright you horn dog."
"Only for you honey."
