Using Township made clearing land so much easier. The resources collected I could also use and construct buildings, make basic dirt roads or if I had the supplies, proper roads. So far the list of available buildings and such to build are limited but that's fine. I can gather more materials and make more thanks to Creation.

Plus… maybe David can help too given he can literally-

"Yo David two!" I yelped and turned, seeing David there. "You've been… using that new ability a lot…" He said, looking around at what was now a mini house community, complete with some dirt roads and driveways. The houses were more akin to cabins given they were made from all wood, but I can upgrade them too. Just need materials.

"I mean, considering my new ability makes me into a City Builder god, why shouldn't I?" I inquired. "Also, your 'creation fire' isn't like FMA, you can literally create anything you want with your fire, you have Creation powers." I said offhandedly.

"And I said I simplified it for my own sake. Like hell I could understand whatever it was the Phoenix told me all those millenia ago… Anyway, I was hoping you'd come with me back into the Rapture Dungeon."

"Sure." I nodded. "Need to do another dungeon run for anything or something else? Cause I thought you would have been…well…" I motioned back to their house where his daughter was doodling on their front porch.

"Yeah… I just want to test something." He said. "This uh, Assistant thing." He said, looking at the arm his Assistant mark was on. "It's… different. Mini Map is helpful, HP bar is weird though."

"Yeah, it's something new to get used to." I said honestly. "But alright, let's go do some dungeoneering to get you used to your new Assistant."

With a nod David and I left, heading back into the Rapture Dungeon. Once we were though, David took off. All I know is there was a flash from fire before he was already down the hall and out of sight. The hell?!

I used Engine and rushed down the halls… finding burned and flaming hallways and ash piles all around as I ran. Even the metal and glass in some places was distorted from partial melting.

Eventually I found him, standing in a room that was covered in ash almost half a foot deep and some embers still going.

"The hell did you do?" I asked quickly.

"Fought." He said, rubbing his temples. "Damn it, still not enough…"

Before I could ask more, he took off again, his wings and legs cloaked in fire as he did and broke through the metal bulk doors before they had a chance to open. The metal he impacted was still red hot and burning from the impact, and the ash on the ground had crystalized into… Diamonds…

What is he doing?

I ran after him again, just super confused as to what he's doing at the moment.

As I did I saw more ashes, the metal and areas were growing more hot at parts retained a red hot glow from the intense heat. I caught up to him again in another large room. There was no ash here, just… glass surrounding him as he was crouched down, gripping his head, the fire covering his body was burning white hot.

The heat kept me at the doorway until eventually, he moved and bent back, his eyes changed to an all white as his skin and feathers became cloaked in an almost golden orange energy, turning them into a silhouette of his own body. They then stood and looked at me.

"I apologize for the… indirect means." David spoke… but their voice and tone was… different… "I am, well, I don't have a name. But David calls me The Phoenix. Just Phoenix works."

… What in the fuck?

"Uh…huh…nice to meet you…" I said slowly.

"I'd like to keep this short. I hate doing this to David, rather intrusive and all that. Now then, David two, I have some questions for you I'd like answers to. Firstly, what are your intentions with David and his family?"

"Currently, they're just friends living in my settlement, I barely know them so it'll be a while before I have any 'intentions' beyond 'lets be friends and not piss off god level entities'."

"Heh. I'd not try to romance them if I were you. Two care nothing for it, David and Shift are exclusive and Squeaks… no. Just no." Phoenix said with a chuckle. "Question two, What do you think of me? You've heard little and I assume you have at least an opinion."

"How did you ever decide 'boredom' could be solved by…this?" I motioned to the whole Nokori thing.

"Care to take a guess at how old I am?" Phoenix asked. "When I was born the Galaxy, the humans called the Milky Way, did not yet exist. The Galaxy that birthed me formed back when the Old Gods of my home still lived and worked to craft the universe and all the celestial entities. I witnessed them craft life and death, lesser gods and abominations against creation itself. My power kept me an equal in their eyes, even if I was far weaker than them. Do you know what happens when you have the power I have and you live as long as I do? Life becomes… dull. Empty. As a phoenix, death could never claim me. So, I had no choice but to keep going. I sought something to fill the void my age had carved into my will and desire to continue."

"I…suppose in this case, a companion?"

"I sought something new. Something I had never experienced before. So, I came to the little, young planet known as Earth. Best decision in my eternal life." They chuckled.

"Well, good to know." I nodded. "Gotta do something to keep your interest's up when you're immortal."

"Indeed. Now then, my last question for you. You say this reality has all kinds of possibilities. Does this include cross breeding?"

Well… that was unexpected…

"Uh…unexpected question, but yes." I nodded. "I don't know the science or reason behind it, but you can plow anyone you want and have a kid, and they can be any combination, as I personally have Electronium Human hybrid kids…their absolutely adorable when they weren't acting like tiny tasers on legs."

"I see… This will be enjoyable to witness later on." They chuckled. "Now then, I assume you have more questions for me? I'll give you two more questions to ask. I asked three, you already asked one, so you get two more, then I return within David."

"Alright." I nodded, thinking for a bit. "Well…I suppose second question should be, what is your true strength? Cause from what I've been shown and told, Davy here is barely using any of your true power."

"You are not wrong. Even after all these years, David still has never used all my power. If I was to put it in numbers… maybe he has used… thirty percent. That was when he killed Alex. That was the most he ever used. And that was when he had control in this form I take now."

"Well…that's good to know." I nodded, thinking if 'thirty percent' can burn away a god's soul that is very powerful. "And for my last question…well, I suppose it should have been said earlier, why did you want to talk?"

"Because Magnolia appeared." They stated. "I know you might think this is just a fact of your reality, but I know it's different. That is no mere copy or reflection as you say. That is Magnolia from our home reality. Even if her body is constructed the same as the bodies here, the same that has changed about David and them… her soul… it's the same. I engraved her and everyone David ever met, their soul signature into my memory. That is Magnolia. And this… concerns me."

"So that either means that either when she died her soul…came here and turned into a Little Sister…or she somehow is like me, but was in some weirder circumstances."

"I don't know. When David and them last saw her, she was an adult. Even though David and them never knew when she died, I did. I sensed when her soul signature faded and moved on from the physical world. The fact she appeared here, and at the age they adopted her… I worry we might be watched by an unknown party. Someone with reach to my home reality, and this one. Even the afterlife. Be them friend or foe… that is what concerns me. The hallucinations have brought them all to insanity in the past. To bring the real thing before them… a miracle, disguised as a sadistic joke."

"Well…there's only one group that I have been told that could possibly be able to do this nonsense, and their called The Family, a literal family of people that…I believe was said to have been apart of an ancient war for Creation itself if I remember what Katsuki told me."

"I see… We should be weary of them. Anyone who can do this… I wouldn't trust." Phoenix said, sighing. "That was your third question. I will retreat back into David now. We might talk again, but not anytime soon. Oh, and tell David none of this conversation." They added, tapping next to their/David's eye. "I'll know if you do. Should you, well, I don't always leave behind ashes when I kill."

I flinched, David's body flashing and was then back to normal. They then fell back and hit the floor. "Ouch… The fuck happened?" David said, their voice and tone back.

Right… do not want to piss off his roomate… Guess I'm lying…

"You thought you could superheat a doorway before it opened, ended up ramming into it face first and getting knocked out." I shrugged.

"Ah… did it work?" He asked as he pulled himself up. "Woah… Glassed the floor… Haven't done that in a long time."

"I can imagine, but what did you want to do here anyways? Cause you seemed like you were in a rush to do something with how fast you were running and setting things on fire."

"Huh? Oh right… Right! I wanted to see about this whole inventory and magic stuff." He said. "Firstly, having what is essentially a Fallout Pip Boy made by Apple built into my arm is really cool, and also, well, back home casting magic was always… tricky for people. Nokori being an exception given we're built for that. I know my Fire comes naturally, coming from the phoenix, but I think since I heard that magic here can be cast in all kinds of ways I'd see how well this Nature Magic affinity I was born with works with this reality and other elements."

Right. He mentioned affinities.

"Well, as far as I know, anyone can cast anything." I said honestly. "And with affinities…well, I haven't really delved much into what magic can or can't do and what affinity does."

"Well, back home Affinities determine the types of magic one can cast. They were divided into five categories. Nature, Chaos, Dark, Light, and Null. Of the five, Null is the rarest, both in nature and in humans. Before Squeaks, there was no records of any human having a Null affinity. Before people left the planet, amongst all the races, we only ever found one other person with a Null affinity. Nature and Light are the two most common. Dark is third in terms of commonality, and Chaos is not as rare as Null, but still is fairly rare. These determine the kinds of magic one can cast."

"Fair enough." I nodded. "And there are races with such affinity, like the Electronian's being more electric based, anyone can learn any school of magic with enough time, effort, or you find Elemental Gems."

"Huh. In my world then that would classify them as having a Nature affinity." David hummed. "Nature covers things like Elements and healing magics."

"Ah, Nature is general stuff in your world." I nodded. "But here…well, I'm sure you can still give general classifications to things, but otherwise things are in their own class."

"Huh. That's different. So, how do you use magic specifically then?"

"Well, most of the abilities you've seen me use have been Quirks, or mutant abilities if you're a fan of X-Men, but I do have magic." I brought up, using a basic levitation spell on some obsidian that formed. "While for a lot of other things…well, I can produce a lot of things." I said, producing many of the elements from all the gems I've used except for Void and Grey cause Void hurts and Grey is…special.

"Huh. So you don't use magic when using these elements then?"

"Um…it might technically be considered magic?" I said sheepishly. "Honestly there's a lot of things in this world I haven't really delved into cause…well, there's just an asston of things."

"I can imagine. In any case, how do these dungeons work exactly? They run off basic RPG Dungeon logic or what?"

"As far as I've learned and figured out, basic RPG Dungeon logic, but each place has it's own 'lore' that, if you look in the right area's…" I said, walking over to a wall and lightly pressing an indentation that was shown because of how glassed the room was, as a door slid open and out popped out a hidden cache of goodies. "You get some neat bonus items."

"Huh… that's actually really cool." David smirked. "So, that just begs the question of where do the enemies come from? I mean, Big Daddies, Little Sisters, Splicers? Are they… well, where do they come from?"

"Far as I can tell, some weird magic that just… creates them from nothing. Oh, and any damage or changes to a dungeon are reset after a year. So come new years all the dungeons across existence reset in terms of physical changes and bosses."

"Huh… that's good to know. Limitless resources then. I also wanna test to see if some of my usual powers still work the same."

"That's fair." I nodded. "Just don't accidentally nuke this place with fire, don't want this ocean biome to start magically spawning volcanic islands out of nowhere."

"... You're telling me one thing but my intrusive thoughts are telling me another…" David smirked. "In any case let's go find some weapons to test out my Embument Ability. I used it some back home, but all the weapons I still have Shift keeps in their storage stomach."

"Fair enough." I nodded. "Follow me, I've done enough dungeoneering in this place that I know my way around to good gun spots."

With a nod, David followed me through the unscorched and unmelted halls. Thankfully we found a basic revolver. David took it and took a deep breath, small flames coming off his hand that held the gun and the flames seemed to… sink into the gun's metal. The revolver began to change, glowing white hot, getting larger and when it was done the revolver had flames coming out the barrel and ammo cylinder, the metal still looked white hot but it wasn't melting. In Fact I was amazed the ammo in it didn't go off.

"Well, that seems to still work as normal. Now let's see…" He raised it, aiming at a wall and firing. The gunshot was less loud than it should have been and the bullet hit the wall with an explosion of flames and slag as the wall was red hot and burning. "Yup, that works like normal."

"Excuse me what?" I asked.

"What?"

"Just…turning a gun into that, that just shoots highly explosive rounds…" I motioned to the now stupid strong gun.

"It's what happens when I use Embument. First time I used it was on a Machete when fighting a Cage Stalker. Accidentally turned the thing into a flaming sword. On top of that I also learned I can make wings out of fire too that work like my normal ones. Back then I had to hide them to keep people thinking I was human. That's how I ended up with the Nokori Guardian Angel thing… Took me forever to learn to do this on command but yeah, they take on the properties of my pyromancy and if they get damaged they regenerate in the same way."

Okay, that is pretty useful.

"That's really cool." I nodded.

"Yeah, but the extra power and such only work when I'm using and and focus my magic into them, otherwise." He said, the gun suddenly reverting back to normal in his hand. "It's no different from a normal gun or sword or whatever. Though they retain the regeneration and an immunity to fire."

"Neat." I nodded. "Always good to have self regenerating equipment."

"True, but in any case I'm mostly looking for some .45 rounds."

"Well, there should be some .45 around here." I said honestly. "Or you might even have some in your Assistant if it auto collected stuff that would have been otherwise burned to ash."

"Huh, you think?" He asked. "Also… how do you access the inventory?"

I chuckled. I remember figuring this stuff out too… I taught them some of the basics and how to navigate, store and take items out, all that. Once he got that we started walking down the road.

"So, you're from a world without magic?" David asked me.

"Yeah, not a single ounce of magic in my world." I said honestly. "Either because it never had magic, or it once did and then all of it vanished over the years…'

"Huh… I used to read stories about a world without magic back home. It was an interesting concept and honestly, sounded fascinating on paper. What was it like really?"

Oh…oh I had to think about that one for a moment…uh…shit…"Well…imagine your day to day life, either just doing your day job or just some random hobby…but without magic." I said honestly. "Or at least for me in my world…well, when you have a pandemic going on and a bunch of stupid people are both running the country as well as enabling stupid people's bad behavior…it was pain."

"Heh. Guess I was lucky. Where I born to a world without magic, I guess I'd still be jumping from job to job and in and out of hospitals." They sighed.

"Well…better than what some other people do." I shrugged. "Why were you in and out of hospitals?"

"Before becoming a Nokori, I had Brittle Bones." David said as we walked down the halls. "The fusion process often changed a lot about people. Some people who were deaf or blind could suddenly see and hear, food allergies were negated, and in my case, stubbing my toe into a table didn't break half my foot." He chuckled. "Even if it did, I regenerate."

"Well…I suppose there is that positive." I said honestly.

"Yeah. There were perks, few people could argue. Just wish it was less… painful."

"I saw what the ritual needed…and I can imagine it was very painful." I said honestly.

"Yeah… In any case, what did you do before arriving here? In this reality I mean?"

"Eh, typical life, working paycheck to paycheck, collecting games when I could, ya know, the usual." I shrugged.

"No room for fun? That's messed up." David said. We entered a room where I spotted a Splicer handing out on the ceiling. "Hmm… Wanna see something funny and messed up?" He asked. I raised a brow and he looked at the Splicer, snapping his finger and suddenly, the Splicer's rear was shooting out fire. It dropped to the ground and was rocketed across the ground and slamming head first into the wall. An audible crack as its neck snapped and the flames vanished.

… Damn it, why was that funny?!

"Excuse you, when did your powers turn into a bad night with Taco Bell?" I laughed.

"Learning to remote set flames was an easy thing to figure out. All I need is to focus on a spot and make sure I ignite the fire at just the right temperature to catch or explode. The methane within most living things' internal organs is good fuel and I might have used this on a few Y Labs mercenaries and one very nasty bigot." He chuckled. "Even though all I went through back in those days, I tried to remember to have some fun. Tried to keep people happy, however I could." He sighed. "I just never liked seeing people unhappy."

"I understand, I don't want people to be unhappy either…it's kind of why Candlelight got so huge…Prize Pod people deserve to be happy too.'

"That still weirds me out." David said. "I mean, they just… are around and kept in pods until found? That's weird right?"

"It is weird, I don't know how it works…and it's very depressing that all those people are just…stuck in a pod, unable to dream…unable to feel or know anything, until they're opened up for either someone special or…in the case of Chaos Guilds…just more cattle…"

"... Explain that to me?" David asked. "I know some tidbits from here and there but mind explaining it to me in whole?"

"Well, if you're talking about the Prize Pods not being technically 'alive' until they opened…no idea." I shrugged. "But the Chaos Guilds…well, what would a bunch of deranged psychopath's with little to no value in life do with readily available, and fully willing, people they can just find strewn about around this god forsaken rock?"

"Explain the whole… 'cattle' bit to me."

I sighed. "So…what Chaos Guilds do, mostly the Guild Lust…they take people, anyone and everyone they can get their hands on…and turns them into Breeders…and from what I've been told, they are exactly that…if you don't plow your Breeder every so often, and they will ask you constantly for that type of affection…they will go into a blindingly horrible depression and hurt themselves until they are used again because…they believe that their masters don't want to use them so their 'unwanted property'...so you can see the problem…"

"I do…" He said… he sounded… pissed. "The people on the market above… they Lust too?"

"No, Greed. They are more or less a neutral guild amongst the Chaos Guilds. They just sell the stuff the other guilds sell, and that includes Breeders sadly."

"I see…" David said, putting his hand to his chin and looked like he was thinking.

"Yeah…one of the merchants literally told me their tagline was 'You're either a Customer, or Merchandise when walking the Aisle of Greed'." I said honestly.

"Hmm… You've been here a while, and you talked with them. Would you describe them as good people?"

"Greed is literally the Merchant's Guild taken to its logical extreme…and I'd say they are because their members helped save Ny from Lust's nonsense, but were…sadly too late when it came to his sisters." I sighed. "The one merchant I…sadly had to buy his family from wanted me to give Ny a happy life, the life he deserves and that they couldn't give him."

"I see… I might have a word with them later. In any case, let's finish checking this place ou-" David stopped, sniffing the air for a second. "That's odd…"

"What up?" I asked, using my more animal instincts that I got from several quirks to sense what Davy was worried about.

"I smell… A wolf and… the faint scent of Ozone…" He said. "That wasn't in the air a second ago."

Despite the quirks helping… I didn't smell anything.

"Hmm…I don't smell anything, but you have the Galaxy bird in you." I said. "Where's this wolf?"

"The fuck am I doing in Rapture!?" We both heard someone shout.

"Never mind…" I frowned, taking off to find where this new wolf person was.

We rushed through the halls, up a whole floor and found… hot… hot… hot wolfman.

He looked like an anthropomorphic Zingore wolf from Monster Hunter… and he was hot… about as tall, maybe taller than Vais… so… muscles and fluff…

"You're drooling David…" Davy said, making me close my mouth and cover it.

"Shush you, I was not drooling." I said, even though I was wiping away said drool.

"Well, at least someone has good taste." The Zinogre said with a smirk, lightly sauntering over to me with such practiced movements I…wait, why are his hips so thick!?

"Uh…yes, hi…uh…" I said weakly, taking a step back from the very eager wolfman…"My names David, this is also David…but you can call him Davy just to keep things from being confusing." I said quickly, my face beat red at how…just stupidly hot this woof was.

"FYI they're also a shemale." Davy said.

"Even better." The wolfman said with a smirk.

"Wow. Hmm, wonder who's more a Bi whore, you or Shift…?" Davy said, seeming to ponder that as the woof took another step towards me.

"So… a few questions." He started. "First, I'm Tony, and how am I in Rapture?"

"Alright, so first of all, hello there Tony, we have no idea how you got here specifically cause Isekai is…a weird thing…"

"Double Isekai huh? That's…strange." Tony admitted, which made me confused for a bit.

"Double Isekai?" I asked in confusion.

"Yeah, I was a human before I turned into this True Alpha Zinogre, doing a little game for Voodoo…then uh…panicked about time tables about an Elder Dragon and…now I'm here, looking at you sexy." He said with a well practiced wink…ugh, can my body not quake at the floofy strength of this guy right now?

"Ugh, can you two not fuck through flirting for five seconds while we, ya know, get the fuck out of this place? There are all kinds of nasty things here and- The fuck are you doing?" Davy asked as Tony was now up against them.

"I'm just checking…" Tony said, lightly leaning down and lightly sniffing them. "Ah, a Phoenix, that's why…want to help me soar with some fiery passion handsome?"

Davy said nothing, keeping a plane expression. They sighed, taking a deep breath as they closed their eyes… I heard a very audible and meaty whack as Tony collapsed, gripping their crotch for dear life and whimpering. "Yeah, that won't work. A, I'm in a relationship. Married for over seven thousand years, B, I'm Demisexual so, that wasn't gonna work regardless. C, while I am Bi, I'm also not into multiple partners."

"Could have…started with any of that…" Tony groaned weakly. "Don't need to be a douche about your preferences…"

"Yeah, the dick kick was a bit of a douche move." I admitted.

"To quote the best anime man ever, 'When I fight a man, it's nuts or nothing'." David said.

"What sorta off brand Nerf store are you going to?" I asked.

"It…wait…" Davy thought for amoment…"Again, with your references I get…fuck you."

"He quoted… Chainsaw Man…" Tony whimpered from the floor.

"That's the bitch." Davy chuckled.

"Haven't seen Chainsaw man yet." I shrugged, kneeling down and giving the poor woof a healing potion to heal his very hurt gonads. "But thank you for telling me that…also, again, douche move Davy."

"Could care less. I don't like people who clearly only flirt to get into your pants. Only reason Shift was the exception was that I knew them for a long time and they learned that sex is not a healthy measure of one's value to their partner in a relationship."

"First, because I don't have context on who this Shift person is…why would they?" Tony asked, which made Davy look at him. "I hope you helped them through that, cause that's one pitfall me and my sister were really hoping to never fall into…thankfully still haven't."

"Of course I did. Our… old friend Silver helped too when we found out. Shift… didn't come from a very loving family. It's best they tell you about it themselves, cause they had to figure out a lot of things on their own and it's their story to tell." Davy said.

"That's fair." Tony said, standing up after downing that healing potion. "Now, back to questions…do either of you know who Voodoo is and where I can find them?"

"Is it wrong that all that comes to mind when I hear that is the Rap song at the beginning of Dead Island?" Davy asked.

I saw Tony think for a bit…"Yes, cause I know what you're talking about, and while he is a skeleton witch doctor pimp, that kind of rap does not fit his style at all." Tony shook his head.

"So to answer your question, no, we have absolutely no idea who that is or where to find him." I shook my head.

"Crap… So, aside from the obvious of Rapture, where am I?" Tony asked.

"From what I know, a planet called Armageddon where every apocalypse imaginable is happening at once. In a reality of endless possibility, and blah blah blah, fantasy crap, anything possible, planet is unfathomably huge, we're stuck here cause assholes patrol the atmosphere." Davy recapped.

"I knew about the 'endless reality and possibilities' stuff, was kind of already on one of the planets." Tony admitted, which surprised me more. "But I suppose being stuck on a place of every apocalypse imaginable…better question is, why does it still exist? Cause there's at least three world ending events off the top of my head that would erase existence."

"No idea." I answered. "I'm glad it doesn't work the way I think it does but…eh." I sighed.

"Next up would be, where's the nearest safe haven?"

"On a giant turtle above this dungeon." I answered. "You can join our growing town if you want."

"I'm sure you want me to be something more than just a part of the town." Tony chuckled, making Davy groan.

"Horny later, plus…uh…one moment." I said. "Abby…let's start with you if it's okay to plow this horny Zinogre?"

"David, you should know my answer is yes. Especially because as long as I'm in you I'd also feel him ruin us worse than Vais… oh just imagining them both going at us…"

Should have guessed… Abby was always the very horny one…

"Holy hell, whoever is sharing your body is hornier than you." Tony said, which made me flinch in surprise. "The nose knows." Tony lightly tapped his nose with a chuckle.

"R-right…" I cleared my throat. "Any other questions?"

"Hmm…" Tony hummed, but as I saw a Splicer try to run up at us, Tony was shockingly fast and ripped the being's head off. "Well, last question for here before I join your dungeon run…have either of you seen another Zinogre like me? Just as a Den Mother and equally as horny?"

"No, you're the only one we've met like this." I admitted.

"Den Mother?" Davy asked.

"A special part of any race that can basically be a 'extinction reset button'." Tony answered. "For True Alpha's and Den Mothers, we're both stronger, faster, and more capable than most of the specific race…but also we can breed with just about any race with a hundred percent efficiency and max amount of kids per litter based on what species is either breeding us or we're breeding." Tony said.

"You sound like you have…a lot of experience with this specifically…" I brought up.

"Yes, both because my significant other is a Den Mother…but also Gender swapping potions exist and boy was that fun." Tony chuckled warmly. "So many kids…" Tony's then happy go lucky horny attitude…turned somber as his shoulders slumped. "Which…I might never see again…fuck."

"... I know what that's like… though, I guess I did get a miracle…" David said, gaining Tony's attention. "Well, I'm over seven thousand years old, I adopted and raised a lot of kids with Shift over those years and well… we outlived them. Our last child, Magnolia… somehow came back to us, same age she was when we last saw her, just… as a Little Sister. Not gonna lie, Shift and I did have a bit of a breakdown at seeing her. I mean, how else could you react to that, knowing you outlived them because we couldn't die."

Tony nodded. "Yeah…I…I understand." Tony shook his head. "I…hope I can see some of my family again…even if it's just one of my many…many…holy crap I had like two hundred kids…both mothered and fathered…" Tony blinked.

"What were your kids like?" I inquired, wanting to get him slightly off feeling sad or…me being surprised how many kids he had.

"Oh they were all adorable little balls of fluff and energy." Tony chuckled. "Favorite time was when I turned into my feral form and they all acted like I was a giant jungle gym…didn't even feel any pain when they all kept accidentally clawing or biting me."

"That does sound adorable. Still, try not to knock up everyone you meet. The farm on David's turtle can barely feed the population it already has and that's just his apparently also massive family."

Heh… and I've only ever been with a handful of them…

"It's not my fault Abby is turbo horny with a harem fetish." I chuckled.

"P-people have a harem fetish here?" Tony asked, his eyes lighting up a bit at hearing that.

"Uh…" I said slowly. "Yes…it's more common than you think but point still stands, don't breed still there's more children than sea water here."

"Fine." Tony chuckled, looking between the Splicer's head and body. "Hmm…I wonder if it still works here…" Tony hummed before he…started to devour the Splicer in it's entirety suddenly.

"Uh…what?" I asked, seeing this suddenly.

"True Alpha's and Den Mother's technically have a weird 'Consume' ability, where if we eat something whole then we can gain strength from it." Tony explained after finishing it, bones and all. "Huh? Daisy? I…oh thank god you're still here." I saw him tear up in glee.

"Oh, you got a shared headspace too?" Davy asked.

"Uh… heh, well uh… this is awkward but… Daisy is my daughter I… ate whole."

"... Excuse you what?" Davy and I asked at the same time.

"It's…a whole thing…and it still kind of hurts when I think about it." Tony sighed. "So…cutting a lot of the context of how I met their mother in the frozen mountains and nearly froze to death…Daisy was my daughter and…she felt Alone when I wasn't around…like, I personally saw and felt her memories and…it was an empty void for her…" Tony sighed.

"Okay, so… I'm gonna pretend I didn't hear that and just assume Daisy is like whatever Abby is for David… cause… I legit can not…" Davy huffed.

"They're soul and consciousness is within me, like your bird friend or David's fairy." Tony admitted. "It's a whole thing for my species…"

"Sure but I didn't eat the damn phoenix we were fused together in a very painful ritual that felt worse than any broken bone I've ever had or death I've experienced and I've died in a lot of varying and creative ways…"

"And I ate my daughter…" Tony said weakly.

"Okay, before things get weirder," I said quickly, breaking up the soon to be awkward silence. "You are apart of our Party right now," I said, which when he nodded I saw his portrait appear on my HUD. "And we've got some dungeoneering to go through. But did you get anything from devouring that Splicer?"

"Yes, while some minor bone density and muscle mass, because I devoured a Spider Splicer, I'm even better at climbing." He said, raising a hand and producing climber hook claws that looked like it would sink into rock and then his second set of claws would dig in as well.

"... Okay that's cool." Davy said.

I opened up Township, finding Tony thankfully and giving him an Assistant. Once he had that I checked his… Abilities…

[Consume: Legendary Ability: Through physically devouring or absorbing your target you gain all their powers, abilities (Legendary included) inventory, and memories of your target. This includes their soul, preventing respawning and keeping them prisoner within your body.]

… Are you fucking Kidding me?! First I get this ability then David and them and all their crazy shit and now Tony having one of the most high value Legendary Abilities?!

"This is kind of bullshit." I thought to myself. "How come these fuckers get to start off with overpowered nonsense while I've had to be handed everything?"

"Because you deserve my power?" All Might tried to help me with this.

"That…kind of helps Toshi but still." I mentally groaned. "So, because you're apart of the town, that's your Assistant, it's basically a Pipboy from Fallout on super steroids both magical and technological."

"Awesome." Tony chuckled.

"So, This shows our HP, MP stuff?" Davy asked, from how he looked I could tell he was looking at the party list in the Assistant HUD.

I nodded, looking at their stuff. Tony… HP is 740/740, MP is 1200/1200. Wow, good stuff. Now for Davy… HP is… only 50/50? That's odd, but then again he is immortal so it doesn't really matter… MP… what the… 42,000,000/42,000,000.

How in the what?!

"Okay so…you have over forty million mp…how?" I asked incredulously to Davy, even though he is a god like being, holy hell.

"Uh… Probably also from the Phoenix." He shrugged. "I mean, how much does Shift, Meg, Bigs and Squeaks have?"

That is… a good question…

I quickly checked Township. Let's see… can I see their… yes I ca- Oh you have to be fucking kidding me…

[Shift: HP 2,000/2,000. MP 1,200,000/1,200,000.

Meg: HP 56,000/56,000. MP 13,000,000/13,000,000

Bigs: HP 4,000,000/4,000,000. MP 7,000,000/7,000,000

Squeaks: HP 750,000,000/750,000,000. MP 970,000,000/970,000,000]

… Oh Sweet mother they really are gods aren't they… though only Squeaks has a god title if I remember so… maybe that explains her? Oh christ this is… a lot.

"I have legit never seen stats like this ever…" Abby said.

"Not even mine were that impressive and given my age…" All Might added in equal shock.

"Weren't you a part of the war fighting people stronger than that?" I asked All Might in confusion.

"Yes, but The Family typically took on the commanders, bosses and such. Most people like Katsuki and I only ever fought the foot soldiers and invading forces."

"Well…alright." I sighed. "Well, you're above Shift, Meg and Bigs in MP cause all around millions to tens of millions…but Squeaks has you beat so handily it's not even funny." I said honestly.

"How strong is this Squeaks?" Tony inquired.

"Well…just on HP and MP….they're the closest to a billion in each." I said honestly.

"Yeah, that figures." David shrugged. "Squeaks always was the strongest of us all. Frankly I'm not surprised she has so much magic and health."

"Dude how is she that strong?!" Tony asked.

"Null, er, I keep forgetting they call it Void in this reality." David sighed. "Even when she was just a kid, her magic and such was stronger than any of ours."

"Well…yeah…" I said sheepishly.

"I…guess that makes sense." Tony rubbed the back of his head nervously.

"Also, word of advice." David spoke up. "When you meet the others, Shift is my mate, and they will probably be able to flirt/dirty talk you under a table. Meg is Ace, so don't bother, So is Bigs, and… just… don't even try to flirt with Squeaks. That's both for your general safety and, well… As her surrogate father… touch my baby girl and I will show you what it means when people talk about taking a nuke point blank…"

I saw Tony gulp.

"No threatening new people Davy." I frowned.

"Also, was going to point out that I know and respect boundaries, marital status and all that, plus the closest person here that I'm going to date is him," Tony pointed at me. "So can you please, not be an asshole? Cause seriously, harmlessly flirt, get kicked in the dick instead of being treated like a normal person, two…doubt it…only David here has not been an asshole to me for half the time I've been here."

"I'm aware. And honestly the lack of return fire is disappointing…" Davy sighed. "Come on, I threaten, insult and kick you in your well used manhood and not a single shot back? Lame…"

Tony just stared at David… then shrugged and pat their back, sending a large amount of lightning into the birdman, making them twitch and singe a bit.

"Now that… is more like it…" Davy chuckled as his body had some glowing hot spots under his skin appear.

"I was raised to respect people and their personal choices as long as it's not illegal or immoral." Tony frowned. "So I'm sorry that I didn't immediately want to ruin your day."

"You get used to his nonsense…he's old and forgot his prune juice today." I said honestly.

"Fun fact I actually will age into elderliness, then return to my twenties once old age kills me. Though since I've been here aging has not been a thing anymore…"

"From what I've been told, once you reach maturity through age, you can kinda…choose if you want to look old or not." I said honestly. "You're functionally immortal through the respawn system, and ageless for the most part.'

"That's good to know." Tony nodded.

"Huh… that explains that. This reality is weird… Actually, Hey Tony, does your Consume ability need the whole body or just a part?"

"Uh…I don't know." Tony said with a frown. "Majority of the time I get the biggest bonus from devouring the entire thing…plus given this is a new reality, it might work differently?"

"Hmm… Do you have like a knife or something David? I wanna see what happens when Tony eats part of me, like a hand or something."

… I'm surrounded by immortal crazies… Well, one currently…

"My claws are sharp enough to cut through extremely hardened blue ice wyvern scales." Tony brought up. "All natural blades to test out our nonsense."

"Cool, well, go at it." Davy said, holding an arm out. With a nod, Tony kneeled down and rapidly bit down on Davy's arm, taking form the elbow down of his right arm and quickly swallowing it.

Davy's arm began regenerating in a blaze of fire, a faint smell of smoke as it regrew until it was back and did not look like it was just bitten off.

Tony stood still and just… "Spicey…" He said, grabbing his stomach and looking in slight pain.

"Well… that can't be good…"

"Oh what the hell now?" I groaned, using my Township skill to see if he was currently about to have a bad reaction and needs to find a bathroom or if he was literally about to explode by trying to use Consume on a God like entity right off the bat.

… That… is some bullshit…

"Daisy says something feels different… also, I feel great now." Tony said.

"That's some sixth degree black belt level bullshit right there." I frowned. "You are now functionally immortal, you have Total Cold immunity, and you can regenerate from literally anything all the way down to Absolute Zero level of Cold based attacks."

"Wait, he got immortal by eating just my hand… also, why cold?" Davy asked.

"That might have been Daisy… she was a Frozen Cyclops so… whatever happened must have merged with her…" Tony said.

"... Too bad you can do that for others. I think David here feels left out."

"Not only do I feel left out, but I also feel cheated because the two of you are overpowered as shit right out the gate while I was just an average dude who had to train and get handed powers." I frowned. "Also, the reason why it also worked is because your Consume was having a rough time devouring a portion of a Galaxy made Bird form, so all the excess formed into your Immortality…after that, what else did you get?" I inquired, cause the portion that was within its limitations for him at the moment should have given him some strength or something of the like.

"Uh… I don't know." Tony said.

I sighed. "Well…best explain to Tony how your immortality works Davy, cause best I can imagine is that he either ignores pain through his regen or he becomes pain."

"Right. Well if your healing works anything like mine, it's gonna hurt." Davy said, pulling out the revolver from his assistant. "Now, I'm used to it so I've learned to tune the pain out. So, let's see about yours." Before Tony could argue, Davy shot them in the eye. The wolfman hit the ground… then their injury became completely frozen over, the ice then broke off, their eye completely healed. Tony however proceeds to grab their head and scream. "So, I'm assuming-"

"It's like I just got shot in the fucking eye, flash frozen then have the worst brain freeze ever!" Tony shouted.

"Yeah. Mine feels like the injury happening in reverse followed by the sensation of burning. Were you also conscious while down?"

"Yes it was agony!"

"Ah, so it is like mine. Just with ice."

"I can tell!" Tony snapped in pain, starting to mutter something under his breath, which was probably reassurances to his daughter about things being alright if she might also have felt the pain.

"Well…shit." I frowned.

It took a moment but eventually Tony managed to sit up, sighing as they rubbed their head. "How… do you deal with that? That was agony." Tony asked.

"Back when I was turned into this, the scientist that made me this way put me through a lot of… kill tests." Davy sighed. "Won't lie, after so many I did go crazy for a time… then you… get out of it. I had to. For the others. Meg, Shift, Bigs and Squeaks. I forced myself to endure it to get them better so we could escape. Thankfully, my efforts paid off."

"That's good to know." I nodded.

"Yeah…fighting for the ones you love." Tony nodded. "Really gonna miss Sandra…" He sighed.

"Come on." Davy said, helping pull Tony to his feet. "Welp, two immortals and… actually, do you have some secret OP power David? Aside that Township one?"

"I have Generation, and like the name suggests, it generates energy from everything I can do, from MP, to all my elemental gems, to even some abilities from what I've learned during my training with All Might-"

"All Might trained you?" Tony asked in surprise.

"Yes, I also have One for All cause I'm that awesome." I chuckled. "But yeah, Generation is a very powerful ability, and currently I can use it without exploding because of it…though I haven't used it too often because I either haven't had to or…well I'm kind of concerned if I use it someone will hunt me down for it."

"Well, you got us, plus that power sounds OP as shit, but I understand the need for caution. So, are we still going to explore this place or what?" Davy asked.

"Yes, we shall explore this place." I nodded…though for this one time I think I'll use Generation, cause we're in the middle of bumfuck nowhere, I'm with a God level entity and Tony is my big support fluff…I pulled up my assistant and went to my skill tree, then went up and activated Generation so I can get a feel for it again.

With One for All working to keep all the various energies contained and stored I felt… amazing. It was like being supercharged but not excessively so.

With that, we got to work.

The Dungeon Run was great. When we finished we came back with all kinds of stuff and supplies. Once we returned to the turtle, Davy headed off somewhere and I introduced Tony to everyone. He was indeed just a bit taller than Vais, but Vais looked more muscular…

Watching Tony flirt with Vais was also… so hot…

It was late now and I was walking through the parts of the town I'd built and saw Shift sitting on the porch of their house. Well… Guess I should talk to them.

I walked up to the mimic Nokori. "Hey, what's up?" Shift asked.

"Just wanted to talk about how you're doing now that uh…you have Magnolia back."

Shift looked down, but smiled as they did. "It's like… when we adopted her all those years ago. It's… so great, but also so strange. I'm so happy but I'm scared I'll blink and she'll be gone again…" Shift sighed. "Do you know where David went?"

"No idea, after we got done with our dungeon run he just went somewhere…hmm, actually." I said, using Township to see if I could see where he was.

I had to zoom out and eventually found Davy was at the Greed Market. Hmm… hope he isn't doing something bad…

"So, how'd your dungeon run go? I see you picked up a new boy toy~" Shift chuckled.

"Yes, his names Tony and he is a bisexual whore from his own admission." I said honestly. "The dungeon run went great actually, and also David is at the Greed Market…hopefully he's not doing anything stupid…"

"Hm. Probably not as whorish as me… heh, at least how I used to be. That was many lifetimes ago."

"When David was…kind of being an ass to him immediately, he said he kind of doubted it, but that was like…his first five minutes of being here and heard nothing about who or what you were besides you're strong, and you're supposedly more horny then him."

"Well, I'll admit I was a bit of a sex addict… the fact I used to work in pornography before becoming a Nokori… then in a strip club after we got out of that lab for a few years… " They chuckled. "That was a long time ago though."

"Well, maybe you should do a flirt off with him." I shrugged. "Harmless fun, and even though he looks like he'll have casual fun with literally anyone, he stated that he respects people's decisions and love…but that was after getting kicked in the dick because Davy was…again, just kind of an asshole to him at the start."

Shift laughed at hearing that. "Yeah… that's David… hated being flirted at. Back before we dated he hated when I did it too. Hell, the first time I met Silver I was about ready to sleep with her then and there… David gave me a hard elbow to the head for that since we had just found each other after getting separated for three years when we escaped the lab.."

"Eh, I suppose that happens given it was three years." I shrugged.

"Yeah. Took a while to get out of that mindset I used to have… in the end it was worth it." Shift smirked as they leaned back some. "I take it you're here to talk more about stuff from my past?"

I nodded, taking a seat next to them.

"Yeah." I nodded. "Ever since Magnolia came in and…I got a bit more context from Davy and you…well, I just wanted to know a bit about your past and all that." I said honestly.

"Well, before becoming a Nokori, I was the youngest child to a really wealthy family. The kind where they have kids out of obligation, not love or anything like that. Being the youngest, I had no rights to the 'family business' I just kinda was born as a precaution."

"Assholes." I frowned. "Did they at least treat you right?"

"I rarely talk to my parents, and my brothers were all assholes. For the most part I was raised by nannies and private tutors. The only good thing my parents ever did for me was getting me my own computer for christmas one year. Once I had the internet and a means of escaping their non negotiable social requirements, I finally got answers about myself I would have never known otherwise. Found out I was Bi, Genderfluid, and even managed to take a week long vacation without them knowing to attend a Pride convention. It was great."

"Well…as long as you understood what you were, that's good." I stated simply, not wanting to get into that mess. "What happened after that?"

"Well, after my mandatory non negotiable business college classes I was basically thrown to the wolves with a monthly allowance they gave me to not talk to them or contact them. Which was fine. I moved to the states first, got settled and once I had a job and was making my own money stopped using that allowance and eventually got my first boyfriend… then my first time… and that's kind of where it began with the sex addiction thing. I felt like if they were willing to do this with me then they must really care about me… we broke up a few months later since he was a 'job first' kind of guy. Many boy and girlfriends later, same story… Eventually, I got a role in an amateur porn video, and it did very well. Got pretty well known, went to Leto for a special shoot and… when getting gas that's when I got kidnapped."

"Well that sucks…" I said sadly. "And jeez…you and Tony might have some pretty good conversations together." I admitted.

"Yeah. Maybe. I've had all that long behind me though. After a while I joined David working for the Nokori Agency with him and Silver. We kept dating then… we ended up married at some point. Silver was not taking no on not being allowed to plan the wedding. She was more anxious about it happening than we were." Shift laughed.

"Well, she wanted the perfect day for her best friends. I'd also be really anxious about it going off without a hitch."

"Yeah… We got her back at hers though…" Shift said, giving a long sad sigh but keeping their smile. "Well, I guess that's all the notable moments in my past… the parts I can recall without needing to prepare mentally anyway…"

"I understand." I nodded. "Your life has been…really rough, rougher than most." I sighed. "But…thanks for the talk Shift, means a lot to hear all this."

"Kinda feels nice to talk about. Meeting new people, sharing life stories… I forgot what it was like to socialize and just… interact with new people."

"Yeah, it also helps when said new person kind of…magically stumbles into doing a miracle." I brought up.

"Heh, yeah. Ah, I see David is back." They said. I looked up seeing them walking over to us.

"Hello David two, love." Davy said as he gave Shift a quick kiss. "So, good news and bad news."

"Alright, who did you piss off?" I asked.

"Not that kind of bad news… well, technically Violence but uh… I'm glad I did not make a bet yesterday…" Davy sighed.

"What did you do?" I asked carefully.

"I was talking to the Greed Merchants, getting some information since I frankly do not like the idea of what Lust, Violence and Nexus are doing, and that's when one of them mentioned Violence, who apparently love to make weapons and weaponize people into bioweapons."

"Shit…" Shift said.

"Yes, and so out of curiosity I asked if they have weaponized Nokori… guess what they said."

Shift stood up. "No… no please tell me…"

"You were right David two… Alex is here… and alive and well…" David said, gripping the porch post… and breaking it. "I'd recognize that basterds voice anywhere."

"You talked to him?!"

"On a phone call, yeah."

"I see my powers of magically being right has finally backfired." I groaned. "Alright, so is the bad news that Alex is about to send some douchebag from Violence here?" I asked carefully, cause I really do not want to deal with this shit at the moment.

"One of his new BOW Nokori yes. Apparently when he arrived here Violence loved his talents for weaponizing the everyday people… and he loved their brainwashing and control measures…" He spat.

"How…. How long?" Shift asked.

"Two days."

"So what's the good news?" I asked.

"The whole Greet Market population here is on our side." Davy said, smirking. "They appreciated you taking Ny and his family in, and they have had just about enough of Violence and Lust having their way. Most of them all joined Greed to stay under their radar to keep safe, and that we're their nicest customers ever."

"Alright, so we have an entire branch of the Merchant's Guild against a psychotic fight club…I think we've got a lot of things covered actually." I said honestly. "Never underestimate a group that control's literally all commerce and information when it gets pissed."

"In exchange though they have conditions. First, they get to move onto the turtle and the whole town gets across their entire stock currently. Second, all their stock of Breeders will be taken in also. Apparently some of those girls have been there since they set up shop a long ass time ago."

"Just as bad as the Matchmaker's Guild…" I sighed. "And is there a third?" I asked, knowing I might have to take the bulk of the breeders for this.

"Simply put, we win this fight." Davy said.

"How many of his pets is Alex sending?" Shift asked.

"Just one."

"Did he say how long he's been here?"

"About as long as us." Davy sighed. "This is not gonna be fun telling Meg, Squeaks and Bigs."

"That's if they weren't already listening into our conversation or if Squeaks wasn't possibly being weird and listening to us from some shadow spider we didn't notice."

"Now why would I do that?" Squeaks said. I totally did not scream and jump to my feet as the mouse lady appeared behind me. At the doorway was a scared looking Bigs and a rather pissed looking Meg. "So, even here that bastard is still gonna make our lives a new kind of hell…" She hissed.

"Knowing him, whatever he's sending at us he probably built personally for us to fight against…" Meg added.

"I just wanna know how he's alive. Didn't David incinerate his very soul?" Bigs asked.

"Maybe I missed a speck and he wound up here… I dunno…" Davy sighed.

I remembered my conversation with the Phoenix… I can't tell them but damn it… why and who in The Family would do that?

"Is there a safe place civilians can hide?" Shift asked me.

"I'll look through Township to see if I can do anything about it." I said honestly. "I honestly doubt there would be anywhere for the civilian's to be safe at the moment…hopefully Greed has something, like some weird portable Monofilament bunker that can help…"

"What about the dungeon?" David asked. "It's at the bottom of the ocean and I'm sure they can handle Splicers."

"It's an option." Shift sighed. "Well, seven thousand years of relative peace was bound to end sooner or later. Guess it's back to work."

"We're probably rusty…" Meg sighed.

I've seen Davy and Shift fight… not sure if I'd call that rusty…

"Crap…well, I'm still going to try and help here." I said. "So if you need a sparring partner, I'm here to help." I said, cause I also needed to get a lot stronger really fast.

"Maybe a sparring match or two can help shake the rust off." Squeaks said.

"Been a while since we did that. There a large open field we can practice at David two?" Davy asked.

"Yes, there is." I nodded. "Follow me…and I suppose this would be a good time to see what my limits are after all this time."

Since Shift and David had already been in the dungeon and were less rusty, I decided to start this by facing off against Meg. I kept generation up the whole time and had Harden and Steel ready at the drop of a hat. As well as Engine and Speed Force since…

"You ready David two!" Meg called from her end of the field. She was standing there, unarmed but that didn't ease my concern given what I have seen her do…

"Not really, but let's get on with it." I said carefully, cause even though I did have Full Cowling and Generation running, and it would be increasing the power of all my abilities and quirks…this bitch can crush a black hole in her bare hands.

With a nod, Meg charged, conjuring a pole of light in her grasp as she did. Thankfully she didn't seem as fast as she could be.

She swung and I dodged, her swings were pretty fast, but they also seemed well made. Did she have some training?

Thankfully to my Speed Force I was able to dodge her swing-

The pole slammed into my Hardened/Steel reinforced stomach, knocking me back and taking some of the wind out of me. Getting back on my footing I saw Meg's light pole weapon now had a new addition that was already retreating back into the main body. So she can modify her light constructs at will whenever…

"I presume you've had some training?"

"Yeah. After David found me again I joined him, Shift and Silver at the Nokori agency." Meg said. "It put my skills to work as far as my magic and abilities but I only did it part time so I could keep looking for roles in local plays and such."

"That's fair." I nodded, lightly rolling my shoulders. "Ready?" I asked, about to try and go on the attack this time to show off that my training with All Might could handle someone like this.

"Yeah." She said, readying herself.

I charged in, she raised her light pole to block. I set off a Generation boosted Explosion right next to her. The blast distracted her, allowing me to slam a Speed Force boosted, Harden/Steel covered punch to her shoulder-

Ker-shhh-Crack!

Mother fucker!

I deactivated my abilities and hit the ground on my knees. My hand was shattered and very fucked up… this bites! How tough is her skin?!

"Oh crap, sorry!" Meg yelped, kneeling down and seeing my broken hand. "It uh… isn't easy to hurt me…" She said, laughing weakly. Gently she put her hands over mine and immediately I saw light flow from around us and into my broken limb. The pain dulled as it began to… be magically healed by light. Woah…

"Okay so…thanks for the neat healing but…what the fuck…" I grumbled.

"Yeah… this is a theory that Alex and the Nokori Agency had but they figure since I was fused with a Star Doe, a being made from old God flesh which itself is supposedly made up of stars and such that maybe my body has the density of all the stars from the old God flesh the Star Doe was made from?" I just stared at her. "I've only ever bled one time and that was when Squeaks joined the Agency after she turned eighteen and I was sparring with her. Poor thing felt so guilty about hurting me."

"Right…" I said carefully. "So punching a literal star…okay this is some pure unfiltered dog shit…" I grumbled.

"If it helps, magic always could hurt me better. David had gotten in some good bruises on me with his fire and some stronger magic user like Alex's easier pet BOW projects he made after us were able to hurt me several times. Dark magic especially hurts."

That makes sense. If Dark and Light are on opposite ends of their affinity magic spectrum thing then that would… wait then that means Shift and David are also opposites given Shift is Chaos and David is Nature…

"Well…opposites attract I guess…" I muttered.

Hmm… in terms of magic I don't have many spells for combat like that… maybe… oh!

Once my hand was fully healed I reached it out and summoned my Keyblade, the Starlight keyblade appearing like usual. This might work…

"Is that a… Keyblade?" Meg asked.

"Yes." I nodded. "Starlight, since I…haven't found my specific keyblade yet."

Meg laughed. "Oh David is going to fangasm so hard when he sees this."

"I'm sure he will." I chuckled. "Alright…let's try this again."

With a nod, Meg and I went back to our ends of the field and I got ready. This time I charged at her, using Speed Force and rushing her. Starlight made impact and actually knocked her back. I could see her HP, of that massive fucking pool, did go down some. So I can damage her… maybe…

Side stepping her swing with her light pole and summoned Dark Shadow. The dark entity swiped at her and actually knocked her back. Her HP went down again. Her pool made it look like less than it was but that did over a hundred damage to her, compared to the forty the Keyblade did.

Alright, play it smart not brute force…

"Alright…things are starting to look up I suppose…" I muttered with a smile.

My spar against Meg lasted for about an hour before we stopped. The sun went down already and the night sky was high above us. I laid down in the grass and noticed Meg was looking up at the sky.

"What are you looking at?" I inquired.

"Them." She said, waving a hand up to the sky. "It's so much more lively than home but it's also larger so I guess that's part of the reason why." She chuckled.

I looked back up at the sky, hearing nothing but the wind.

"Wait…you can hear the planets out there?" I asked, thinking I got it.

"Planets, stars, asteroids and comets. All the celestial bodies, celestial creatures. On clear nights like this I can hear them all. It's like being in a busy cafe. The noise is a lot but if I focus I can hear what they're saying." She said, smiling as she sat down and kept looking up.

"That's fair." I nodded. "What interesting things can you hear?"

"Mostly they're saying hi to one another, in passing or because they're nearby. Some are having long conversations about events happening on their surfaces or things they're witnessing. It's an amazing experience to hear."

"I can imagine hearing so many people." I shrugged.

"I do find it strange I can't hear Armageddon's voice." She added. "Every night I can hear just about all the voices of the stars you can see from here, but Armageddon, its moon and sun, are quiet."

"So that either means the planet itself is dead, or you don't have permission to hear them." I said honestly.

"It's never happened before. I wouldn't know." She shrugged. "Thank you, by the way."

"For the talk, the sparring, or what?" I inquired.

"For letting us live here… and for bringing Magnolia back to us. Somehow, it makes me feel like we were meant to be here, find you and make a difference on this planet."

"Yeah…it does feel like that huh?" I chuckled. "I'm just here trying to do something good in this unwelcoming world…"

"Well, for what it's worth. We'll support you. David has never been one to shy away from a fight for a good cause, and right now, this planet does seem like it needs a good cause. Especially if Alex is here…"

"And Alex isn't the worst of the bunch." I said honestly.

"Maybe… maybe not. If he's been here as long as we have, who knows how much he's improved at making living weapons."

"Well, we're going to see for ourselves in two days, sadly." I sighed. "And he'll have made something that can, most likely…negate all of your abilities…like, every ability from your group." I said honestly.

"Wouldn't be the first time." Meg sighed, rubbing her eyes. "He made a lot of varied BOW Nokori to attack us. Or just cause chaos for data. Either way, if this thing can negate our powers, that just means you'll have to be our trump card."

"Hopefully." I sighed. "Cause I could barely make a dent on you even when I was using magic or darkness abilities."

"Did hurt though. Especially that freaky shadow thing you did."

"Yeah, that was Dark Shadow." I said honestly. "He's friendly enough when you get to know him."

"Huh. Well, you sure have a lot of unique abilities." She said, standing back up. "I guess tomorrow we help the merchants come aboard and see if any of their stock can help out."

"Yeah…hopefully this'll all go smoothly…" I sighed.
