Long ago, humans and monsters lived together in peace.
Then, one day, the humans began to fear the monsters. Their powerful magic and power to absorb a human SOUL.
War broke out. While the Monsters were powerful with magic, Humans had a power all their own.
The monsters were almost brought to a tragic end…
Until…
Two angels fell from the heavens….
Ability Obtained: DETERMINATION.
Ugh… ouch… why am I sore if I landed on something so soft…
"Fucking hell…" I grumbled, getting up putting a hand on my head as I looked around the place.
The first thing I saw was yellow… yellow? Yellow!
I sat up, seeing the bed of Buttercup flowers I was laying on. Right, the Undertale Dungeon!
Yes I got in! Wait, where are the others?
I looked around… I'm all alone? Okay… maybe the others just didn't get into the dungeon?
"Hmm…that's strange…" I frowned, getting up and lightly dusting myself off from all the buttercup petals.
"I think I heard something over here!" A gruffish voice said from ahead.
"You say that every day…" Another, high pitched gravelly voice replied.
Soon I saw two… Goat Monsters. One with a head of yellow blonde hair and all white fur, the other… had reddish brown hair, with crimson eyes. Both looked at me with shock.
"Told ya." The blonde one said, smirking to their friend.
"Yeah yeah Azy…" The red eyed one said.
"Howdy." I said with a wave.
"Howdy." The blonde goat monster said as he walked up to me. "I am Asriel, and this is my sibling, Chara." He said, motioning to the red eyed goat.
… Wait, so… this is Chara? They'r… alive, and not human either… and Asriel is alive, and not a soulless flower… okay, maybe an AU?
"It's nice to meet you two." I said politely, playing the innocent 'just got here' card since I didn't want to be weird.
"So, you must be David then?" Chara asked.
… Okay?
"Uh…yes, yes I am and…how do you know my name?" I inquired.
"Because David, I mean Davy told us." Chara said. "It's why Azy and I are here. We were stationed here to greet you."
"Seven hundred years of waiting is finally paying off." Asriel said, sighing but also smiling-
Seven Hundred Years?!
"Holy hell, how in the world did Time act weird?" I asked incredulously.
"You'd have to ask Davy or Gastor that, cause it flew way over our heads." Chara sighed.
Gastor? So, he didn't fall into the Core then… how much is different… how long have they even been here? Are Tony and Squeaks, Luna, oh crap where are they? When did they get here and why is time so wonky?!
"Alright, so I am…really concerned cause we all jumped down at the same time…" I said worriedly.
"This way, the Ruins Murals might help shed some light on the situation." Asriel said, motioning for me to follow as he and Chara took the lead. I followed, and right before I entered the next room… I noticed a shining gold star…
I touched it.
[File Saved]
"Yeah, that checks." I thought to myself.
Once I did that I quickly followed the two into the Ruins proper. It looked similar to what I've seen, but also different.
To my left was a wall, made of stone and painted with a large and long mural. Asriel motioned to the left most side, showing two small towns. One with humans, one with monsters, and the two were mingling in the middle.
"Long ago, Monsters and humans got along. While there was some bias and such, most ever was fine. Human villages and monster towns got along, traded and talked. Things were fine, times were happy."
Asriel then motioned to the image of a distant castle that seemed to be covered in a dark aura.
"The king of humans at the time, King Avador, feared the Monsters. He knew stories of their magical strength, especially amongst the Boss Monsters, and of the Monsters inborn ability to absorb a human soul, gaining untold power while overpowering the soul itself to keep controle."
"So then war broke out from fear, so what stopped the war?"
"The Angels." Asriel said. He then motioned to… Luna… Davy? "They fell from the heavens at the height of the war when Monsters were being driven farther into the mountains. Over two thousand years ago."
Two… thousand… years?!
"Uh…excuse me, what the fuck…" I said slowly.
"Questions?" Chara asked.
"Two…thousand years, how?" I asked incredulously.
"Well, Monsters live a long time. Boss monsters especially." Asriel said with a shrug.
"And David turned me into this… Nokori, he called it. Was able to do it by merging some of Asriel's monster magic and fur shavings plus a goat on some weird platform with me on it… it hurt like hell but, heh, I would do it again." Chara smirked. "No longer human and I'm actually related to my family now."
"Right…" I said carefully. "Of course he would…so anyways, Davy as I call him and Luna…solved the war?"
"Luna used her Thunder Staff, what we now know as Rifle, to keep them at bay… David, Davy, went to meet with King Avador personally…" Asriel said.
"I can see where that's going." I admitted. "Davy killed the king or something?"
"Pft. Not just the king." Chara said, pointing at…
This part of the mural showed the whole kingdom… burning. The castle a smoking husk of molten stone. The city…
"Yeah…I'm not surprised…" I sighed, hating how he just went and committed mass murder.
"We call it the Day of Dust and Ashes." Asriel said. "A dark day both for Monsters and Humans."
"Pfft. Assholes got what they deserved." Chara huffed.
"I mean…possibly, but still." I frowned. "So then what happened next?"
"After, some of the human armies tried to avenge their lost king and Kingdom… they were met with the same fate." Asriel said, pointing to a part of the mural that showed humans and monsters rebuilding. "Despite tense relationships, Monsters and Humans slowly rebuilt their trust and alliances. New generations were born that forgave the old, then, Chara showed up."
"And what happened there?" I inquired.
"When I showed up, Asgore and Toriel adopted me. I was sick and alone. Don't remember my birth parents, don't care to." Chara sighed. "Azy and I growing up together helped strengthen bonds between humans and monsters… but I wanted to be more. I wished to be family through blood and love. That's when Davy offered me this." Chara said, spinning around.
"Yeah, I can imagine you would have taken that opportunity in a heartbeat." I nodded.
"He told me the process would be painful, that no agony or ache I could experience after would compare… but I agreed after giving it a few days to think. He wasn't wrong… to this day I've never experienced pain as bad as that transmutation. Still, I'd do it all over again. I wasn't the only one. As time went on, other humans joined in, some Davy did transform, others he rejected. I think the ones he rejected just wanted power, the ones he accepted did it for love, or to start fresh as a new person, a new entity. Just to start over and forget their old self."
I nodded. "I suppose that all makes sense."
"Then, a little over a thousand years ago, The Wolf and The Mouse showed up." Asriel said.
I blinked, turning to the mural and seeing… Tony and Squeaks! Thank goodness… also, a thousand years? Holy hell.
"Jeez, they must be so confused as to where I disappeared to…" I said carefully. "So…how many people did Tony there have 'fun' with?" I asked, knowing that horny wolf wouldn't be able to resist at least some fun.
"Well, he tried to flirt with mom…" Asriel said.
"Dad too. They both promptly turned him into a flaming dog." Chara chuckled. "After that though, he hasn't tried with anyone."
"Okay…so your parent's just decided to be assholes…" I admitted. "And no, harmless flirting does not equate to violence, and that joke has honestly never been funny."
"Actually it was more mom that set him on fire. Dad just tried to tell him it was rude to flirt with a married woman… then he flirted with dad and mom lost it…" Asriel said.
"It was the coolest thing I have ever seen." Chara laughed. "I had no idea mom knew how to suplex someone until that day."
"Be glad he didn't murder either of them." I stated. "Jesus hell, you'd think at this point people would start murdering each other for being given a random complement." I shook my head even as I noticed the two giving concerned looks. "Sorry…just kind of annoyed that the first thing those two did was try and assault him over harmless flirting instead of laughing it off like sensible people."
"Eh, anyway, so roughly around the time Tony and Squeaks showed up, with the help of Dr. Gastor, they found out some stuff and got to work turning the caves that almost became the prison of the monsters into the new Capital of the world, Davy and them figured since you got to this all kinda… late and they accidentally cleaned up something I dunno, they had this place built to be how it is. Whole underground is really cool."
"So I'm just a tourist…yeah, cool…" I said, feeling my excitement for this whole thing kind of drained as this is now more or less a sightseeing tour after everyone else did everything.
"I mean, not entirely." Asriel said. "Tony and Luna knew you'd be pissed with nothing to do, so on top of enjoying the Underground, there's some challenge battles you have to pass in order to move on to the next area. Some optional fights to."
"Feels token at this point but sure, let's go with that." I said, having wanted to hang out with friends, my daughter, and my hubby in a dungeon from a franchise that I adored, only to be several millennia late to the party and all I get is some Disney ride with possible challenges. "Please, lead the way."
"Oh don't be like that. I promise… you're gonna have a good time." Chara said with a smirk.
"Hopefully." I admitted. "Just…hopefully they set this up right."
"Well, this way then." Asriel said, leading the way.
The layout was both the same but also different. Some things I remember from the game, other things were new. The MTT restaurant was definitely not here before.
"I see Mettaton branched out." I pointed out.
"Yeah, the Blook Cousins really have gotten popular in recent years." Chara nodded.
Blook… Cousins?
I looked at the restaurant, seeing an image of the iconic Battle Body Mettaton, and next to him was another robot, their design a bit more simple but almost… cartoony look. Tube like limbs that worked on built in disc scratchers.
Huh… cool.
"Oh yeah, I remember now, Napstablook and Mettaton are cousins…neat robot body for Napsta."
" might have vastly different genres of entertainment but they get along great and their co-made stuff is pretty good." Asriel nodded.
"Wanna get something?" Chara asked.
"I don't think I have the proper money here." I said honestly.
"We take Rem if that's what you're worried about." Asriel said with a smirk.
"Alright." I nodded. "Then I suppose we can get something."
I got a basic MTT burger, fries, cola and a Nabstatton Milkshake. I bit into the frise, the tasty crispy potato vanished, but the flavor hit my tongue in full force.
[HP Already At Full]
Oh wow, I get the taste and it works like in the game? Cool!
"Well, at least the food's good." I admitted.
I ate more of the fries before putting the rest away in my Assistant. Once that was done I got to some of the puzzles. This I was very happy to see and began solving them all quickly. Amazed I remembered the answers.
We reached the end of the ruins. Another glowing star I touched.
[File Saved]
I was confused though. Rather than the house that would usually be here, it was just a… battle arena? Right…
"Well…I suppose there wouldn't be a house here…but a battle arena?"
"Well, yeah. Challenge battles before the next area." Chara said as they walked into the middle of the ring. "I'll go first, then Azy after you beat me. Well, if you beat me."
"And my high from the puzzles is something I really don't want to lose here." I said, even though I'm certain Chara would be strong but also have some bullshit Nokori powers because so far I've yet to find one of these bastards that had something reasonable.
"So, rules are simple. Get me into the red, use whatever powers or weapons you got, and make it a good show." Chara said, the arena lighting up, revealing a multitude of cameras began to light up with little red lights, showing they were broadcasting as a large screen then showed the two of us on it with a ratings monitor… woah.
"Goodie…have to do a popularity contest as well…" I muttered, still trying to keep my hopes up and that joyful high from the puzzles as I drew my keyblade.
"Don't worry, just try not to die easy." Chara said, red light forming from their hands. It grew and took the shape of dual blades they gripped and slammed into the ground… the blades catching fire.
… Well, it fits… and makes sense…
"Alright, if you insist." I said, rolling my shoulder as I used Full Cowling and Engine and blitzed towards the dual wielding goat, giving a powerful swing towards them.
They raised their blades to block, the impact skidding Chara back but they still stood as they began pushing back.
"Wow, Davy was right, you are pretty strong." Chara smirked.
"You haven't seen anything yet." I said readily, punching the ground as I used my Earth Gem abilities to send a wave of earth towards them.
Chara managed to dodge some and used their blades to hack apart others, he then swung his blades, sending waves of fire at me.
I raised my hand, using my Fire Gem powers as all the flames started to swirl around into my hand, forming a ball. "Volcano!" I said, shoving it down into the ground as pillars of flame erupted from the ground towards Chara.
Chara dodged and moved around with some serious agility, running his blades through the flames I made before they were suddenly in front of me.
I used my Keyblade to block and activated Harden and Steel, the magma Chara picked up while swiping their blades through my fire bursts from the ground hitting my skin.
I screamed.
"Motherfucking-" I shouted, grabbing Chara by the throat that also had lava on it and chokeslammed him into the ground, the ground caving in underneath the force.
Despite that, Chara managed to jump back up, gaining some distance as they rubbed their throat. "Heh, you fight dirty too." They smiled.
"You said yourself that I could do anything and everything to win." I said honestly.
"Yeah. I did." Chara chuckled. "Well, so will I." They then let go of their blades, the two swords floating next to them as they then created six more pairs of the swords made from red magic, and then forged one giant Bastard Sword into their hands. The floating swords moved and seemed to act as if unseen limbs were holding them.
… Okay now that is kinda bullshit but still fitting…
"It's fitting but…I'm not fucking surprised you got some bullshit…" I frowned, preparing myself for the fight at hand.
"What can I say? Old human habits die hard." They smirked as they charged me.
I brought my Keyblade to block, activating Steel and Harden as their other blades came down at me from all around-
SH-CLANG!
The blades pierced into my bones, not going further than there. The ones that missed the bones all cut clean through to the other side… Through muscle, flesh and organs…
Blood flowed out my mouth…
"Try again." Chara said.
GAME OVER…
DETERMINATION.
FILE LOADED.
I gasped as I appeared outside the arena by the star. I felt along my body… that… pain.. Ouch… I can still feel it, but there's no injury…
I looked up, seeing Chara standing at the center stage… their multiple swords still floating around them. "So, rematch now or wanna take a break cause that looked like it hurt."
"Okay…so I should probably check what Determination does…" I said, deciding to check what that Skill even did.
[Ability: DETERMINATION.
Class: Rare
Rank: SS
This Ability is an Immortality Ability, creating a special, personal Respawn Anchor that allows for instant respawns of the user so long as they utilize the SAVE FILE. Upon death the ability will LOAD the SAVE FILE, instantly bringing the user back and bypassing the two hour respawn limit.
While users still feel the pain from injuries after respawn, they are fully healed. The feeling will pass after some moments.
Failing to keep the SAVE FILE up to date can result in loss of items and Abilities gained after the last SAVE FILE update, even Legendary Abilities.]
"Wow…this is functionally worthless." I said, looking at the draw back and just seeing 'Time keeps going, but if you fucked up and didn't save it's gone forever so sucks to suck'. "Good to know I've now obtained an ability that can and will fuck me over."
"Well, it could be worse… you could still be dead…" Asriel said, not sure how to respond to what I just said.
"Eh, so wanna keep fighting or do you wanna take a break?" Chara asked.
"Well…my Save right now won't magically get rid of anything…" I frowned. "But let's keep going then." I said, not wanting this to go bad again as I thought about how I could do this.
I walked back to the arena and summoned my Keyblade. Alright, his blades seem to bypass my defense quirks, so they might actually deal magic damage… which makes sense, they're made from Chara's magic… So how can I defend from it? I knew I should have invested in more magic resistance but I just had to dump points into Steel and Harden for the best physical resistance…
"I mean, I still have millions of skill points cause I'm stupid and never bothered to really go into it…" I mentally admitted to myself, looking at the blades…hmm, I used Naval Laser and, with my Keyblade able to control Light given it's affinity for it, I had it turn into a chain of light and wrap around one of the blades, trying to see if I could shatter and dissolve the blade, either to harm them or give them less thing's to fight with.
The chains managed to wrap around their blades, Chara tugging to try and break free. "Dude what the fuck did that come out of your belly button?!"
"Yep." I nodded, as I noticed the blades didn't shatter but they were now chained up. "Alright…Luminous Bind!" I shouted, as suddenly the light chain started to glow and blow up into a web of light to try and capture Chara and all their blades.
When the light faded I didn't see Chara-
BONK!
Ouch!
"What the fuck was that?!" Chara asked from behind me.
"Chains of Divinity," I chanted, as Chara suddenly felt stuck as a holy symbol appeared underneath us. "Shining Bind!" I shouted, as an eruption of Light slammed into Chara many times and knocked them away. "And to answer your question, that was Naval Laser, a quirk, and that just now was a really strong Light technique." I said, turning around to see how they were after that.
"That's nasty… Also that's a really dumb name." Chara said, pulling out another magic blade.
They're tough.

Huh…
"Well…I should have higher status than that…" I muttered, though this dungeon probably works on different logic.
Chara clashed Sword against my Keyblade. "Gotta admit, you are stronger than I was expecting."
"Yeah, I get that alot." I admitted, before grabbing their face and using Abby's skill and my Water Gem to shove their head into a bubble of water, knowing drowning might suck but again, they did say I can do anything to get their health in the red.
They panicked for a bit before I saw the water begin to… bubble, then boiled and soon shrink as it was turned to steam. "Okay, that was actually scary…" Chara said. "My turn." They said, slamming their sword into the ground. It shook and soon many blades burst from the ground and began charging to and circling me.
I used Gravity on myself and floated above the blades that were about to skewer me, thinking about their current fire abilities as I tried to think of how to do this, as I used Engine and my Wind gem to start moving around in the air as a form of makeshift flight.
"Wow… and David said you'd call me bullshit…" Chara said flatly at seeing me fly around.
"Except I need to use like, three different abilities to do some makeshift form of flying." I frowned, starting to spray water onto the ground even as it started to lightly steam from the fire blades. "Just gotta stall for a bit, then Chara will be in for a real shock." I thought to myself, seeing the steam starting to collect more in the arena as I was using my Ice gem to try and cool the air to form clouds.
"Fine, hope you're good with this." Chara said, summoning a second blade. The two caught fire and he then rapidly began to spin-
The flaming tornado of death appeared an inch from my nose.
SHIT!
"Good thing I'm highly resistant to Fire!" I thought to myself in a panic. "But this can work in my favor…" I thought to myself, as I felt the heat from the tornado as I backed up quickly and started to use Half Hot Half Cold to create an ass ton of steam. "Just got to get this right…" I thought to myself, looking up and noticing that clouds were starting to form from the combination of all the steam and cold air I made even with the fire tornado. "Just got to time this right…" I muttered, starting to try and make the clouds into storm clouds.
I was about ready to-
SLAM!
My body hit the wall with a hard THUD and some very painful cracking feelings as the flame tornado suddenly grew a fist and slammed into me. The thing then took the shape of a flaming goat monster.
Okay now that is total bullshit…
"And…you have the audacity to complain about me being bullshit…" I frowned.
"To be fair, you have a lot of powers I have no knowledge of." Chara said, their voice distorted as their fiery giant body summoned two huge flaming swords in their hands.
"And while that's fair, you forgot one thing." I said, before raising a hand and using Lightning Gem and Electricity. "Storm's tend to not like either fire or giant things." I admitted, as I fired lightning into the growing storm clouds, with the excess energy added into them the storm clouds suddenly rained down Lightning onto the giant fire goat.
Chara's body, the flaming one, took the full force of the impact and blasted them out of said fire body and into the wall behind them.
I… got worried.

Okay not dead… is that considered into the red?
"Heh-Hahahahaha!" Chara laughed as they pulled themselves out of the wall, their clothes torn and bleeding. "That hurt." They grinned at me.
"Uh…you okay?" I asked nervously.
"Heh. I can feel I got some broken bones, gashes across my back and I think I have some internal bleeding." They said, two swords appearing in their hands… the whites of their eyes turned black, and their horns grew longer, curling and twisting as they seemed to stand up straight. "I'vE nEveR FelT sO AliVe."
I gulped.
"Right…this is exactly what I needed right now…" I muttered, getting up and knowing my makeshift Thunder Tempo wouldn't work again…but the area was getting really warm…hopefully Mirage's can work here…
"Chara! That's enough!" Asriel yelled, gaining their sibling's attention. "That's enough! No need for your Special Phase!"
Chara looked between Asriel and I, then sighed as they reverted to normal… Then collapsed. "Agh… this is bullshit! I never get to use my Special Phase!" They complained.
"Gee, I wonder why." I frowned. "So, I won this round?"
"Yeah yeah, congrats." Chara huffed, pulling out a chocolate bar from their sleeves and eating it. The magical Monster Food restoring their HP and healing their injuries. "This is bullcrap…"
"Yeah yeah." I said, immediately saving after that cause DETERMINATION is worded poorly. "So, do we move on or do I have to fight the fluffier of the two of you?"
"Yes its my turn now." Asriel said with a nod. "But later. You look exhausted. Monster Food can help restore HP, but stamina and exhaustion, no."
"Alright." I nodded, even though I wasn't really feeling too tired after all that but I suppose Generation does help with that, as I could start actually doing something with my Skill tree cause I haven't really done anything with it besides maxing out a lot of my quirks.
As I sat down, I did look up at the ratings for views- four million viewers!?
Holy crap…
"Huh…right…" I muttered, pulling up my Skill Tree to try and go down a more or less build I wanted, which was more so into me dumping skill points into Swords/Keyblades. For the most part with the Keyblade skill tree it was making the blade sturdier, hit harder, making hitting things easier, Light control being better…all things that seemed simple as I tried to see what real nonsense is in this.
Hmm… Some of these look really impressive. Finishers, Combo extenders, Arial Recovery. Lot of these are Abilities from the game, some can even be improved. Looks like the abilities that boost my damage with a Keyblade only work with my True Keyblade, aka, To Be Made Whole. Any other weapon or Keyblade won't apply… but I know I can also upgrade my Keyblade separately. Would need to see if one of those Keyblade Forges are around or something…
For now I should focus on attack and attack abilities, maybe some- Hello…
[Unlock Drive Forms: 50 Skill Points. Valor Form Included.]
"Okay…yeah that's what I want." I said readily and grabbed that immediately.
Once I got it, a new bar appeared next to my HP one, Drive Gauge, and I have a three minute use time. Huh, well better than in game. Hmm, looks like the Drive Forms level up is the same as in the game too. Since Valor form gains exp through physical hits on a target, hmm… doubt I can level it up here and frankly I'd rather not turn anyone here into a punching bag…
Hmm, looks like Wisdom From is unlocked with seventy skill points and you need Valor form to be at least level 4. Master form takes a hundred and unlocked when Wisdom reaches level 4 also. Limit Form unlocks with a hundred and twenty skill Points, and like the others, I need Master form to be level 4. Final form looks like it's bundled with Anti-form, and both take a hundred and fifty to unlock, but requires Master, Limit, Wisdom and Valor forms be Maxed out?
Yeesh, they didn't make getting all the Drive Forms easy…
"Well…know what the hell I'm going to have to be doing for a while…" I muttered.
Upon gaining Valor Form I got a notification.
[Drive Forms Unlocked!
Secondary Keyblade Bestowed!
Starlight is now Equipped to Valor Form Secondary Slot.
Keyblades and Key-Armaments can be swapped out at any time from these spots unless in use.]
Key… Armaments? That's new.
I decided to look up what the hell Key Armaments were cause I don't remember seeing or reading about them before.
[Key-Armaments. These weapons and tools possess all the features and magic of a standard Keyblade, but possess a non-sword based form. Such as tools, Shields, fire arms, spears, bows, and other such weaponry or tool. They function and can be identical in use to normal Keyblades as well as upgraded the same means as normal Keyblades.]
… Huh…
"Well…that's really neat."
Well, now let's see what else I can get…
Hmm… I have High Jump, I can upgrade it some more and pretty cheap…
There is also- Oh hell yes!
[Unlock Keyblade Sorcery: 12 Skill Points]
"Alright, that's also good." I said with a smile.
I unlocked it, a new branch appeared that seemed to cross into my normal Spell craft Skill Tree. Woah.
Okay, looks like Fire, Blizzard, Areo, and Thunder, starting spells it seems. All just a skull point each… hm, they pull magic from my normal MP but don't look like their damage is related to my Elemental Gem powers. It's based off my Magic Attack damage plus add what my Keyblade Magic Damage does, in this case that's seventeen, plus my own of twenty, making the base damage of my magic attack damage thirty seven.
Fire does five magic damage alone, so using that does forty two, Blizzard does six, meaning I do forty three. Areo does four, meaning I do forty one and Thunder does seven, meaning I do forty four. And that's just the beginner spells. The higher tier spells here do much more damage and it looks like there are Abilities here that increase a Keyblade Magic spell's base magic attack damage.
Now this feels more like a JRPG.
"Alright, now I'm getting into the nonsense this world wants and my head is starting to hurt with all the maths…" I scratched my head.
Alright, for now I think that's good. Keeping all this in mind I can probably use Valor form against Asriel, that might surprise them enough for me to land a good combo. Assuming it works like in the game, I won't be able to use magic at all while it's active… which might also affect my Elemental Gem powers, maybe even some Quirks… I doubt it but it's a possibility.
"Well…alright, that seems good enough." I nodded.
With that, I stood up, Updated my SAVE FILE and got back into the arena.
"Ready?" Asriel asked, standing in the middle of it. Chara was off to the side eating chocolate with a pouting expression.
"Yep." I said, getting up and bringing out my keyblade.
"Alright, if you beat me the way to Snowdin is unlocked, and you can travel between the two areas and such whenever you want. Plus more Optional Fights will make themselves known the further long you go, so don't be afraid to backtrack." Asriel said. He pulled out two swords of magic, black and white rather than red like Chara's.
I hummed, looking between Asriel and Chara…before deciding 'fuck it' and starting to sensually walk over to them, I saw the poor goat start to look confused for a bit, but with a quick fluttering of my eyes with practiced seductiveness, they were suddenly beat red. "Wanna help take me to Cloud Nine my sweet fluffy boy?" I asked seductively, as Asriel started to bleat in embarrassment, taking a step back as…honestly they just looked more adorable in their embarrassment. And then the time to strike as I lunged forward and gave the cute goat a kiss on the lips.
I heard Chara spit out their chocolate, and laugh like a mad man.
Davy sat at a table elsewhere, bored and sleepy… suddenly, he sat upright. "Something just happened…" He said.
"Yeah." Tony smirked, showing him the TV, displaying David Two kissing Asriel.
Davy slammed the table. "I gave him one rule!"
"I think that only applies to the Milf and Dilf." Tony said. "Still mad at them for setting me on fire…"
"Toriel set you in fire, Asgore just kinda sputtered like an idiot."
"Still pissed."
"Ugh… well at least they're finally here."
I broke my kiss with Asriel, the goat man's eyes were swirling, his face was so red it made his fur look red, and then he collapsed on the ground.
"So cute." I chuckled. "And the view's on the board say!" I said dramatically while looking over and pointing at the viewer numbers.
Ten million views!?
"Holy hell those ratings!" I said in surprise, making Chara laugh harder.
After a while, The TV turned off and cameras shut down.
"Well, guess you win." Chara chuckled. "Azy is probably gonna be out for a while. Also you got his first kiss too~" Chara laughed.
… Oh.
"Well…hope I did a good job for his first kiss." I said sheepishly.
"I'd say it was the only way he was ever gonna get a kiss." Chara chuckled. "Shame too, he was looking forward to showing off his attacks."
"Well now I feel bad…maybe I can ask him for a rematch and a date?" I asked, though when I heard the fluffy boy bleat at the word 'date' it just made me laugh a bit.
"Maybe after my total virgin of a brother grows a backbone." Chara laughed.
"True, but I can help give him said backbone." I said as I tried to get some of my laughter under control.
"That depends, are you trying to get him a backbone or trying to get him to throw his back out on you?" Chara asked.
Now I blushed.
"W-well…" I scratched my cheek. "Let's not focus on that until after the first date alright?"
"Assuming he can stay conscious when it happens." Chara smirked. "You're pretty strong. For a human."
"I've been at this for over ten or so years…time flies I guess." I shrugged. "But yeah…Nokori are still bullshit…"
"Meh, that's just your opinion." Chara shrugged. "I've been training for a little over a thousand years now so, it was nice to finally test my skills against someone in an actual fight. Still pissed I didn't get to use my Special Phase." Chara pouted.
"I'm sure you'll get to use it later." I admitted. "So…onto Snowdin."
"Yeah, this way." Chara said, walking around Asriel's unconscious body and motioned for me to follow. I did, walking behind Chara and following them to the doors that lead into the passage to Snowdin. Chara putting a hand to the door, some magic flowing into it and then they opened. "Welp, best head on through. David left you a message, just ahead is an Echo Flower with the message."
I saved again real quick and nodded. "Alright, thank you." I nodded.
"I'll catch up after Azy wakes up." Chara smirked.
I walked through the doors, entering the next room. The large clearing lit ub a small hole in the ceiling that let in some sunlight. Sitting here in a flower pot was the iconic Echo Flower, the same look and blue as I remember seeing in pixels so long ago.
Sometimes, I forget how amazing this reality is…
Now… how do I use this…
I poked the flower.
"Hey, David Two! Took you long enough!" The flower spoke in Davy's voice, a laugh as he spoke. "So I'm sure you know by now that Luna and I have been here for a long ass time, Tony and Squeaks less but still been here for a while. I figured you'd be all salty and glum about not getting to enjoy the whole Undertale experience since, well, I kinda fixed the issue before it was an issue. So, I got them all to build this place. It's almost an exact replica, plus some extra. The point of this? Well, you wanted to be strong. Strong enough to protect your family. The people you'll meet here, both the people who will have to be beaten to get through the Underground, and the optional guys. I recommend fighting them all, after all, you want to get strong and prove you can protect the ones you care about, then meet me at the end of this road and prove that you're more than able to do so. If you make it to me, I'll be waiting. Til then, have fun, take your time… this place is honestly… amazing."
WIth that, the Echo Flower stopped.
"You missed the part where I wanted this to be a time with my family and friends…" I frowned, that being the whole point why we did this stupid thing. "But now it's just a Disney Ride that's also some trials…sure I'm getting a date but I still feel like this isn't worth it anymore…" I sighed, turning towards the pathway and heading off to continue this 'adventure'. "Two thousand years away from my own daughter…yeah…yeah that just makes me feel peachy…" I muttered sadly. "Not like she cares anymore, she had all the time in the world to be her own person, to spread her wings and be free…wouldn't be surprised if she left after this…" I thought to myself as I just shook my head and kept going, starting to hear the soft crunch of snow under my feet as I just kept walking.
The cold hit me hard as I exited the second set of doors. Yeesh! This is chilly…
I walked through the snow, wishing I had a jacket or something-
"Dad?" I looked up, seeing Luna standing there, wearing a fluffy jacket, winter pants and boots. "Heh, wow, looks like the TV was right. Pst, you haven't aged a day."
I looked at Luna. She was a bit taller, her horn longer, wings large even against her back, and her figure was so mature…
"H-hey Luna…" I said slowly, tearing up at seeing my daughter after…technically two thousand…two thousand fucking years. "Well…I'm off to finish this whole combat Disney ride…" I said, thinking she…didn't want or need me at this point. "You…you look so mature and big…"
"Heh, well it has been a while. Yeesh you look cold." She said, pulling a jacket from her Assistant. "Put this on, before you catch a cold."
"Yeah…thanks…" I said, gently taking the jacket and putting it on. "Well…it was nice meeting you Luna…don't want to keep you from your new life…" I said weakly.
"... Really? Two thousand years since I've seen you and you wanna fuck off?" Luna asked, walking up to me. "Unbelievable, are you still on that?"
"It's been two thousand years…you tell me how I'm not supposed to feel god awful that I missed so much time with my own daughter, seeing her grow, mature and be better, and probably have her own new life with someone special to her that she probably doesn't care anymore." I answered.
SMACK!
I felt my cheek… Luna… slapped me… "You fucking Idiot! Just because I did get to have a life doesn't mean I don't want you in it! Yes, for your information I do have a partner, been married for some time now! We have three lovely kids and I want you to meet them! And my husband! And be part of my life because for two thousand fucking years you were gone and I've missed you!" Luna yelled, grabbing me and pulling me into a tight hug. "You emo selfish idiot!"
I hugged back, and started to cry finally. "I didn't know…I thought this would have been just…some nice family fun with some friends…not it all being thrown straight to hell…" I cried. "I…can't really say 'I miss you to' since I just got here…"
"Heh, I know… I know… you big baby…" Luna said, chuckling but crying also as she hugged me and pat my head. "Honestly, aren't I supposed to be the child in this relationship?"
"Well, you cheated because this Dungeon hates me." I admitted. "Like…seriously, I miss all the fun stuff, I miss being with friends and family…then you all built this as…it just felt token with what this Dungeon did to me specifically…"
"Yeah… maybe, but it's been a unique experience. Besides, so what if it's 'token' we all worked hard to make this place for you dad. You have friends to meet, reunite with, and family to meet. And don't worry, they are not Tony's." Luna chuckled as she took my hand and began to lead me. "So, why not at least have fun like Davy and us wanted you to. The least you can do after we put a solid thousand years into making all this and getting ready for you."
"Alright alright." I sniffed. "Though…I do probably have a date with Asriel so there's that."
"Oh my gods finally… it was getting painful watching that virgin try and get a date…" Luna sighed. "Though the fact you are the one going to date him is awkward…"
"Why?" I asked. "Cause if it involves Asgore and Toriel, I'm going to be suplexing Toriel and setting her on fire for physically assaulting Tony cause she thinks harmless flirting is a capital offense."
"Yeesh, not even Tony is that mad at her anymore. Still mad but not that mad…" Luna said as she walked me through some ark and over a bridge. "Besides, that was a thousand years ago."
"Still, dick move." I frowned. "So why is it going to be awkward for me dating the fluffy boy?"
"Well, he's younger than me for one, and as much as Toriel has been hoping for him to get a partner, you are also much younger than him… plus I witnessed his birth, helped raise him, changed diapers… just gonna be weird for me." Luna shrugged.
"Well…I suppose that makes sense, but he's just too cute to pass up." I chuckled.
Luna shivered. "Sorry, just… an odd sentence to hear my dad talk about the guy I helped raise from birth… Ugh, Time Travel crap… I can see why the Time Walkers don't like it, which makes this Dungeon honestly extra bullcrap…" Luna sighed. "Anyway, we're almost at my place."
Luna walked me to a fair sized house that seemed to be built into the wall of rock. The front being wood with a large door, decorated with some christmas lights and a small snowman outside the front.
"Did you marry Sans or Papyrus?" I just…had to ask, considering this practically looked exactly like Sans and Papyrus's house if it was in a rock wall.
"What?! Ew! Gross dad! I helped raise them too, plus they're technically Squeaks's sons in law."
… I'm sorry WHAT?!
"Excuse you, what the fuck?" I asked incredulously.
"Huh? Oh right, you don't know… Squeaks met someone and to Davy's surprise, and delight, they hit it off. They aren't married but have been an adorable couple for the past six hundred years."
"Alright, so that accounts for you and Squeaks, who is Tony with?" I asked.
"Catty and Bratty."
"...ya know…not entirely surprised there." I admitted. "And how many kids has that horny doggo had with them?"
"Not as many as you'd think." Luna chuckled as she opened the door. Entering I was greeted by a cozy little living room. A fireplace going as I could smell some rose incense burning. "Well, here's my home. At least my home with Mark for the last twenty years."
"Alright." I nodded. "Place feels cozy."
"Take a seat, I'll go get some tea." Luna said, taling her jacket off and heading through a swinging door.
I sat on the couch… huh, this fabric feels odd…
I looked around, finding some framed photos-
… I'm sorry what?
I look at the photo of Luna standing in an all white dress, looking… beautiful. Standing next to her, holding her hand was a slightly shorter Fire Monster, his flames were all blue.
Huh…
…
…
How does that work?
"Alright, we have some mint tea, oh I see you found my wedding photo." Luna said, smiling as she gave me my cup. "Yes, Mark is a Fire Monster, and Grilby's cousin."
"I was about to say, is he related to Grillby…and two, how the hell does…that work?" I asked sheepishly.
"Heh, I got that a lot when we dated. Even more when I got pregnant." Luna chuckled, pouring me some tea. "Fire Monster's flames by their nature don't actually give off heat, or spread. It's largely… decorative. The flames that make up their body only produce heat when they want them to, or they are in a rageful emotional state. So, there's never a worry of him burning me, he's actually the calmest person ever, could even give Grillby a run for his money if he weren't so quiet all the time." She chuckled. "As for how exactly, well, Monsters don't all reproduce the same. Fire Monsters and Monsters that lack the normal organs to produce offspring in that way instead use magic to create a child. Me being an Alicorn, magic down to the bones, made it an easy process."
"Well…I suppose that makes sense." I said. "So…" I wasn't sure if I should…but I just had to. "Have you ever cooked breakfast on his magical abs?"
"Da~d!"
"It's a legitimate question!" I defended myself.
"The most we've done is heat up some drinks in his hands." She huffed. "Honestly, my sex life is my own. In any case, I guess I should call the kids so they can come by and meet their grandpa." She chuckled, pulling out a Cell Phone from her Assistant. Wow… that's been forever ago.
"First…I wasn't talking about sex." I pointed out. "And two…well, hopefully the kids like me…"
"I've told them a lot about you. They still don't believe me that you're human though so this is gonna blow their minds." She laughed.
"I can imagine this is going to be a shock for them." I chuckled.
It took a few moments, Luna calling her kids. Once she was done she flipped through the phone and showed me a photo.
The three of them were adults. One had her coat, but his mane was a flaming blue roar.
The middle one looked almost totally like an alicorn, but his wings were large flaming things that I swear looked like they had little star sparkles in them.
The last one, the only girl it seems, was almost exactly like Luna before this Dungeon, only with her eyes being a blowing blue with small fire trails coming out of them.
"That's Peter, Jet, and Orbit." Luna said.
"Well…glad to see you raised them well…" I said, seeing them all as adults and…being reminded again how much time I lost because of this damned dungeon…
"Heh, Orbit is so much like me. I can see why I worried you so much." Luna chuckled. "Little trouble maker."
"And now you know my pain." I huffed. "But…yeah…just more things I missed…"
"Hey, you can always make up the time. Its not like we won't be back on Armageddon once this is all over anyway." Luna sighed. "Wish they didn't have to be in that place, but at least it will be interesting. Besides, I wanna rub it in Tim's face that I got laid before him and had kids." Luna smirked evilly.
"I'm glad to know you still think about that silly argument between you two." I chuckled.
"Perks of this situation, I won that argument." She laughed. "Still… sometimes I… in here, I get to dream again… sometimes good… sometimes not…" Luna sighed. "I was dropped into the middle of a war after all…"
"And you shouldn't have had to experience that…and now you also know why I didn't want you really fighting until you were ready."
"I still fought though." She said. "I… keep them at bay. I saved people… killed… Sometimes I see them, such hate it's… all consuming, the hate they had in their eyes. I regret having to kill, but I won't hesitate to do it again. Like you, I had people I needed to protect."
"I…hoped you wouldn't have had to kill…" I sighed. "This whole dungeon is just…I wanted a fun romp in a world I adored…not this…"
"Yeah… we actually learned why this happened thanks to Gastor. Oh, guess I should let you know that he's Squeaks' partner."
I blinked… Oh wow… why does that both make sense and holy shit!
"I'm…both surprised and not surprised at the same time." I said honestly.
"Heh, yeah. They met a little after Papyrus was born, his wife at the time… passed away. She took notice of him because she felt he had something she has. An affinity for Void. What started as an interest in researching Void and the capabilities she could teach him ended up turning romantic. Didn't help Sans and Papyrus were pushing the two of them together the whole way." Luna chuckled.
Hmm… That makes sense. Given the lore and theories, if Gastor never fell into the Core here, but still had the talent for it… Interesting.
"Well, that's all good." I nodded. "So, why did this all…go awry?"
"Because this Dungeon was never meant to house multiple people to participate. Had only one jumped in, this dungeon would have operated normally, how you know the game, would have played out. Because all five of us jumped in at once, it needed to make alterations based on things. Davy and I were sent to the start of the War because it registered Davy as being so powerful, and my weapon I had equipped. Tony and Squeaks appeared later because it didn't know what to do with her and Tony was registered as a type of Monster, so it put them in a more peaceful era. Then there's you, who was the only one of us that was still truly human, so it put you in the role a human would play perfectly in the story, but since Davy and I altered the course of the war, and with Tony and Squeaks showing up later, we found out the this dungeon generated the timeline without any means to keep it in line with the original dungeon intention, so, rather than generating a false timeline in which your DETERMINATION could actually allow you to reset time, it created its own timeline in a pocket dimension. Because it was never designed to do this, the pocket dimension ripped, allowing the laws of outside to affect it, which is why when you LOAD, it doesn't affect time." Luna said.
"It's also why the wording is vague as hell and makes it sound like it's 'draw back' for having a portable spawn anchor with no time limit is that I lose everything if I die before saving again." I admitted. "And since Time doesn't go back, what I would have obtained is lost forever and I can't get any of it back, like say I obtained an apple and had to LOAD a save, the apple would cease to exist because I 'owned it' but loaded when I didn't."
"Based on what we learned that is only partly the case. The item in question wouldn't cease to be, rather, it would go back to where you obtained it. The same goes for Abilities. Abilities you got before making a new SAVE are actually reverted, so you keep the skill point and just have to buy it again, or go back to where you got the item and it will be there again. As for Legendary Abilities, that might be another story since they're finicky as is when getting them." Luna said. "Odds are dying before a new SAVE is made with a new Legendary Ability might result in you losing it forever. Or maybe getting it again later, we don't know."
"Well…good to know it's not something I'd use only for this dungeon then shove it into the 'never use ever again' closet." I said honestly.
"Yeah. Well, in any case, I hope you enjoy everything. And take your time, we've all been waiting for you to show up and now that you have, I imagine everyone is excited."
"Hopefully." I sighed. "Thing's…still kinda suck considering everything that happened…" I admitted, cause I lost one to two thousand years of time with my friends and family and that's something that will…just annoy and sadden me for a while.
"I'm here mom, so what's this surprise?" The door opened, in walking the one I recognized at Jet from the photo. The flaming winged Alicorn looked at me, blinking. "Who's that?"
"Hello Jet, I'm your grandparent David." I said, sticking with 'parent' cause I don't know if Luna was telling them I was a guy or a girl.
"... Mom who is this crazy lady?" Jet asked.
Luna managed to hold back a laugh at my reaction to that. "Jet, this is your grandfather, the one I'm always telling you about? The human?" She offered.
"... Wait, seriously?" Jet asked as he looked between Luna and I. "... I owe Sans so much money…"
"Bruh, really?" I asked. "But yes, I am your grandfather, my names David and…yes, I am grandfather, given I'm a hermaphrodite."
"Oh… that makes sense…" Jet said. "I'm Jet."
I looked to Luna, who chuckled. "Jet is a bit… slow."
"Not all flames start raging all at once." I admitted. "It's nice to meet you Jet…Time has been…weird for me."
"Alright." He nodded.
… okay…
"Take a seat. Your siblings will be here in a bit." Luna said.
"Okay." He said, walking over and taking a seat on the couch next to Luna.
"Can't wait to meet the others." I said honestly, really wanting to meet my grandkids even though they were all adults and…I missed so much time with them.
"So Jet, tell your grandfather about yourself." Luna said.
Jet nodded. "I work for the Development and Planning Services. Roads, houses, zoning areas, and a little bit of cartography are all part of the job."
"That's cool." I nodded with a smile.
"Anything else you want to tell?" Luna asked.
"I like Spicy foods." Jet said plainly.
Luna just chuckled at her son's odd behavior. "Jet is also a part time guard." Luna added.
"Well, considering he's a very powerful magical creature I can understand that." I nodded. "But why would there still need to be guards here when…things are going so well?"
"Doesn't mean there aren't occasional trouble makers, thieves and bad people. Plus wild animals and such out and about. Better to have the guard and not or rarely need them than to need them and not have them." Luna said.
"Most of the guard these days are either volunteers or vets from the war." Jet stated. "It's slow, most that's happened this month was some graffiti over in New Home."
"Fair enough." I nodded. "So, got any hobbies Jet?"
"Some games, reading." He said. "Work keeps me pretty busy most days so I haven't had much luck enjoying my books or my games."
"Fair enough." I nodded. "Back home I've been…rather busy, so hobbies needed to stay on the sidelines."
"Alright, I'm here, what's the surprise?" The door opened, revealing the flaming hair'd Peter walked in. "Hey mom, Jet, random lady." He waved.
"I'm your grandfather, David." I answered. "It's nice to meet you Peter."
"Wait… so mom wasn't pulling out legs this whole time? Crap! I owe Sans so much money…" He groaned.
"Get on over here." Luna laughed at her son's blight.
Peter walked over, dropping themselves onto the couch next to me. "So, you're my grandpa… I take it you either did some… Right, mom mentioned you were both genders." Peter said.
"Yes, I am both." I nodded. "And yes, I am your Grandpa, I would have loved to be a proper grandparent but…the dungeon decided to throw me through time for some reason."
"Right. Still think it's weird our whole world exists in some pocket dimension inside a mountain… anyway, so gramps what was that whole kiss with Azy? You a cradle robber?"
My blush was crimson and Luna was laughing her last breath.
"First, Chara set the rules that I could win by any means necessary, not my fault the fluffy goat passed out because of it." I said sheepishly. "And two, I only date people that are of legal age so none of that 'cradle robber' nonsense."
"No, it's worse because of the time distortion bullcrap, your grandfather is now younger than Azy, you three and me." Luna chuckled.
"Huh… Time Travel is bullshit then." Peter nodded. "Still, try not to break the weeb, the most physical contact he's ever had with a girl is his mom when she hugs him, the last girl, or guy to do that he got a bloody nose."
"Either way, I'm probably going to still date our resident fluffy boy even if Time Travel is bullshit." I shook my head. "So besides all that nonsense, tell me a bit about yourself Peter?"
"Oh I'm a low life gambler, drug dealer and hit man on the side." Peter said, earning a smack from Luna who reached over me to do it. "Ouch! Heh, alright alright." He laughed. "I work as a programmer with AlphYs and Gaster in the Royal Laboratories."
"Lot better than a lie." I admitted. "So, how much of a weeb are you?" I inquired, knowing that if he's working with Alphys and Gaster, then he's probably dabbled in anime.
"Eh, so-so. Alphas got me into a few anime's but I usually prefer the horror ones."
"Eh, fair." I shrugged. "Any hobbies?"
"I like to feel up the guys at clubs."
"Unfortunately that part is true…" Luna sighed. "Been a horn dog since puberty. I blame you for that." Luna said, poking me in the arm.
"I'm not that horny." I frowned. "And how many times have you been smacked because of your random groping?"
"Never~ The boys I target are looking for a fun time and I am more than happy to provide~" Peter smirked.
"He's so your grandson…" Luna sighed.
"You'd think he was Tony's grandson with how horny he is." I admitted.
"What? A guy can't enjoy his ever youthful body and indulge in some sinful delights~" Peter asked.
"There's indulging and then there's what you do." Jet said.
"Oh don't be so cold bro, I know some cuties that would love to meet you~"
"Not interested."
"Let him take his time with trying to find someone special, or he's fine on his own." I shrugged.
"I prefer friendships and nothing more." Jet nodded.
"Doesn't mean he can't have some fun… awh well." Peter shrugged. "So gramps, where have you been? Mom said you were stuck in time or some weirdness."
"Davy and my daughter here were sent back two thousand years into the past, Tony and Squeaks a thousand years, and I just got here…apparently this Dungeon did some weird thing's because we all jumped in at the same time and I've lost not only two thousand years of time with Luna…but I lost all the time helping take care of all of you…"
"Oh don't be like that." Peter said, patting my back. "Can't change the past, or blame yourself for whatever that was when you didn't know this would happen so why get so hung up on it? Way I see it, we got to miss out on you seeing our embarrassing childhood moments." Peter smirked.
"I have video and photos I will be showing dad later." Luna said with a smirk.
"Traitor." Peter huffed.
"Embarrassing childhood memories you say?" I asked with a grin.
"Later." Luna laughed.
"I'm here- Shit!" The door burst open, Orbit crashing through the door and face planting onto the ground with a hard thud. "Ouch…" She groaned, pushing herself eyes of fire looked over at me. "Hey mom why's the cradle robber that kissed Azy on live TV here?"
Once again, I blushed, Peter and Luna laughing out their lung capacity.
"Can I stop being insulted for five minutes?" I frowned. "And I'm your grandfather."
"... I owe Sans so much money…" Orbit said.
Damn, Sans be getting all their money.
"Did all of you bet on me not being human?" I asked incredulously.
"I bet that you didn't exist and were a deadbeat." Peter said.
"I bet you weren't human." Orbit said.
"I bet you were a shapeshifter." Jet said.
"Well, good to know the 'insult me' train is still going strong." I frowned. "Not like I missed two thousand years of time with my family, but no, the moment I meet my grandkids all I've gotten was more or less insulted by everyone but Jet."
"To be fair, that was their first time seeing you, so…" Luna chuckled. "They didn't know you're their grandfather. Well, come on Orbit, tell your grandpa about yourself."
"Yes mom." She said, walking over and sitting between Luna and I. "Well, I mostly just work as a hotel receptionist." She started. "That uh… that's more or less it…"
"No hobbies or anything?" I inquired. "Cause if you're anything like Luna here, there's gotta be some stuff that drives her up a tree."
"Heh, well I have a bad habit of starting fights…" She gave a weak smile.
"Yeah, Orbit here is always seeking to get into a fight with someone, even someone bigger than here and stronger. Got her into the hospital a few times." Luna sighed. "She has a strong sense of justice and need to help others despite the danger to herself. Reminds me of someone…" Luna said, looking at me.
… Crap, she is my granddaughter.
"Now, that makes sense with Orbit being my granddaughter." I admitted.
"I just don't like seeing people get hurt. I've always looked up to mom, aunt Toriel, uncle Asgore and Davy, they all told me stories about the horrible things that happened to the monsters during the war, and what the humans were doing to each other overseas. I just want to make sure no one has to suffer like that. Not when I can do something…" Orbit sighed.
… Fuuuuuuuuuck… My own reasonings for what I do…
"And that's why I remind you to try and be smart." Luna said, patting her daughter on the head. "You shouldn't run in blind against a stronger enemy, especially if there are those around who can handle them."
"I know…"
"Gee~, I wonder where I've heard that before." I slowly turned to look at Luna as I heard her reasoning for not wanting Orbit to fight right now as Luna gave an 'innocent whistle' to my accusation.
"So… have you fought strong people before grandpa?" Orbit asked.
"Yes, yes I have, but I also had help with fighting them." I answered.
"Does it feel good? When you fight to protect others does it make you feel like… you're doing the right thing?"
"It does feel good, to protect those you care about, your family, your friends, from those that would cause harm, and from my experience so far it's feels like I'm doing the right thing." I nodded.
"Do you fight with weapons?"
"With my Keyblade." I said, bringing out my special keyblade in question. "I also have many quirks and a lot of elemental gems."
"I use magic or fight with my fists."
"That's a good place to start." I nodded.
"It's only how she fights." Peter spoke up.
"Well, do you have a combat instructor?" I inquired. "Or is all your combat knowledge self taught?'
"Mostly self taught. I don't qualify for the guard, not even as a volunteer."
"Is it because if the constant fighting or are you too qualified for it?"
"It's because she has trouble following instructions and obeying basic orders." Peter said.
"Well…that sounds about right." I nodded. "I suppose I could be a teacher for ya, at least it'll be something I can do as a grandparent…"
"I hope it works out better than my prior teachers…" Orbit sighed.
"I'm sure you'll do fine. Even if Dad never wanted to teach me." Luna said, giving me a glare.
"You wanted to use Guns, I don't know how to use the guns you want to." I said.
"You have the whole TF2 stock weapons including the sniper rifle, I know you at least knew the basics."
"Basics, yes…but let's be real here, TF2 and actual gunwork is…" I trailed off with a helpless shrug as TF2 is just silly. "Plus, at the time, I was busy with a lot of other things."
"Yes, at least Cliff was more than willing to teach me."
"And he was probably a lot better at teaching you than me when I was hoping that you wouldn't get involved in my nonsense." I sighed. "But…the one time I wanted to do some simple dungeon fun with my daughter, she has to endure war and not know if I'm alive for two thousand years…"
"I knew you were alive, just from my perception you were stuck and waiting to arrive at the right time. Besides, I haven't gotten to use my rifle in a long time."
"Well…I suppose it happens, and while I'd like to say you can join in I doubt you're allowed to."
"In the fights, I can't, but I can tag along with you and catch up, Introduce you to everyone."
"Well…I was going to need a guide in all this." I admitted. "Cause this place is a whole lot different even if it's mostly the same."
"I know. Well, Mark is the only one you still need to meet. He should be back home soon."
"Alright." I nodded. "Well, do any of you three have questions for me?"
"What's it like outside the… pocket reality?" Jet asked. "Mom said you all lived on the back of a giant turtle."
"Well, technically the entire mountain that's housing the dungeon is on the back of a giant turtle." I admitted. "But life on the back of a turtle is kind of like living here, just that you can sometimes talk to the creature."
"So you're all just riding on it surrounded by endless sea?" Peter asked.
"For the most part, as there's plenty of underwater dungeons, sky cities, and other turtles and islands." I said honestly.
"How many people are outside this place?" Orbit asked.
"Well, on our turtle specifically it's about shy of twenty five thousand." I said honestly.
"Wow… that's far less than I expected."
"Told you." Luna chuckled. "Here in the pocket dimension is a little under twenty million across the globe. Human, monster and Nokori all together."
Woah… so that means when I kissed Asriel… half the planet in this pocket dimension tuned in to watch?!
"Bruh, over half the population saw me kiss Asriel!" I whined.
"Yes." All four of them said.
"Oh my god…that poor goat…" I whined.
"Thirty rem says people will be wanting their date broadcasted." Peter said with a smirk.
"Suckers bet." Orbit smirked.
"Oh definitely. Thirsty viewers." Luna laughed.
I groaned and put my face in my hands. "Goodie…and there's probably a few million people that are probably screaming obscenities at me because I dared do this…"
"Maybe. I know Kura is definitely out for blood." Orbit said.
"Oh gods she probably is…" Luna groaned.
"Who's Kura and why should I pile drive her into the ground?"
"She's another Goat Monster that's had a crush on Azy forever." Luna said. "At first it was cute but she's kinda…"
"Batshit crazy, total stalker, obsessive, possessive, couldn't be more forward with what she wants even if she wasn't as blunt as a baseball bat and has more screws loose than a bucket of them." Peter said.
"Right…so when should I expect her to break down the door since she probably knows where I am?"
"Oh she's locked up in the asylum right now so unless she breaks out, which won't be easy as Squeaks designed it, it should be fine."
"Ah…right." I sighed. "Jeez…didn't expect half the planet to see it to be honest…"
"It was a long awaited broadcast. People have been expecting your arrival for a long time, dad." Luna said.
"I'm home." The door opened, and walking in was the blue fire monster I saw from the photo. Mark, Luna's husband… my son in law… "Kids, good to see you. Ah, and you must be David." He said, walking over to me and offering a fiery hand. "It's nice to finally meet you. I'm sorry we never got to meet sooner."
"It's alright, I blame the dungeon." I said, taking Mark's hand and giving him a firm handshake. "Nice to meet you Mark, glad to finally meet you."
"It's a pleasure. I apologize for not being able to ask for your daughter's hand in marriage personally. I did offer her to wait until you showed up but she wouldn't have it." Mark chuckled.
"That was six hundred years ago, and I wanted you to make an honest woman out of me." Luna said, standing up and giving Mark a quick kiss.
"And…I had to miss out on all of it…" I sighed.
"If it's alright to you, I'd like to invite you to dinner. Luna and I can catch you up on everything, share stories, and Just get to know you."
I did smile at that. Mark is really friendly.
"That sounds good to me." I nodded. "I have…so much to catch up on."
