chapter 1: Failure and a new Beginning

i dont own anything!

It was raining..it was dark but most of all the lands were covered with blood.. Naruto stood there facing nothing but only corpse's he couldnt believe how many have died infront of him.. or how many have died protecting him..

And so it was him and him alone or so he thought...

"Naruto.. i have something to tell you" said Kyubi within his mind.. "And what is that something that you want to tell.. or that is important to me at that matter?" replied to the kyubi with his tired voice "im sorry about everything you've been through... if i had been nicer to you at the start maybe it would be different.. but i had to be as stubborn as that uchiha bastard" Kyubi said with sadness evident in his voice...

Naruto looked up.. pain in his eyes.. he thought that he shouldn't have suffered that much.. after some moments of silence Kyubi spoke up once again... "what if you could fix everything.. like a second chance to change everything that you have failed at?.." Naruto was taken a back with the question.. "what do you mean Kurama theres no such thing as secone chances in life.. after all if there was i would have everyone back in a flash..." Kurama chuckled.. "i could give you a fuinjutsu technic that could sent you back in time.. have i picked your interest now?" Naruto appeared inside his mind looking at Kurama dead in the eyes.. "show me i dont care the drawbacks i will do it.." Kurama looked at him and nodded

After 1 hour in his mind and Kurama yelling at him for his mistakes he was finished with the fuinjutsu scroll that would send him back in time and then Kurama spoke and broke hin from his thoughts "so you know Naruto this will take all of our chakra and so i dont know where we will be sent and where we will land but i know you will look the same and have same age nothing will change but the time.. and make sure you draw all your chakra into this cause it is necessary so we dont end up in a black void of nothingness!" Naruto nodded ready to do this so he can see everyone once again.. Kurama though shook his head.. "naruto you should know that no will recognise you... if you do something hasty they will think you are a weirdo that is trying to harass them or something!" Naruto frowned but nodded none the less then said "LETS DO THIS I CANT WAIT ANYNORE!"

After 2 mins of both Human and biju drawing their chakra into the new form of a technic they started to feel it working and so the continued until they both fell unconscious

The 3rd hokage was sitting in his office writing finishing hes paperwork until there was loud crash.. he stood up and looked out the window to see what was happening he then rushed out of his office to check it out with his Anbu guards right behind him.. after he reached right outside of his village's gates he noticed the guards absolutely horrified and he said to them "both of you get a hold yourselves!" both pf the guards looked at him and braced themselves and then the old man spoke again "report what happened" he looked at them with curiosity both of them nodded and said "well for the record Hokage-Sama we dont really know he fell out of the sky as kf someone attacked him... honestly it looks like he pissed off Tsunade-sama.." both of them gulped at the thought of a pissed off Tsunade.. the 3rd nodded and called his anbu Guards.. "get him to the hospital and tell the medics to report to me if he wakes up.. dismissed"

after about 3 days Naruto had finally woke up from his slumber.. he knew where he was and he felt happy.. he was back in his home his village... he was finally back in Konoha no Sato!

The medics saw him that he finally woke up and immediately started asking questions if he needed anything if he was alright and stuff like that after 30 minutes Naruto was once again alone in the room in a hospital bed oh how he hated Hospital Beds.. after shaking his head Naruto heard the door being opened and there was none other than the 3rd hokage Naruto wanted to jump and hug him cry in his arm and tell how much he failed in the future but he knew better...

the 3rd looked at Naruto and finally spoke to him "hm... it was about time you finally woke up.. after all i have a few questions about you.. and i want you to be truthful with me" Naruto nodded immediately without a second thought the 3rd then spoke again "hm good.. first of all what is your name and how did you end up here?" naruto didn't answer immediately but then he spoke "My name is Memna i don't know my last name cause both of my parents had died when i was very young.. i survived all alone and i learned many things from their scrolls that they left for me.. and how i got here i dont know i just have been launched away by a massive explosion and i ended up here.." Naruto now known as Memna said to the 3rd Hokage... "interesting without bringing up bad memories can you tell me and if you remember how you parents died if you were there?" Memna nodded "they died by some weird people with cloaks that had red clouds as a symbol.." Memna lied smoothly the 3rd nodded and thought "i need to contact Jiraiya about this group" Memna stared at the 3rd waiting for the next question "well i dont know if you can understand me but i cant fully trust you... you appeared out of nowhere and i dont know if you are a spy.." the 3rd said with a sigh.. Memna nodded and spoke up "Actually i have a scroll for you from my parents its not a trap trust me if you want i can open it for you Lord Hokage" the 3rd looked at him and nodded "proceed, open the scroll and give it to me.." Memna nodded and said "well i would give youthe scroll but unfortunately i dont have my coat or my pants at that matter" he chuckled while the 3rd's mouth twitched and mumbled something about blondes and a headache

Memna was looking at the 3rd while he was smiling when he was once again smiling at the scroll and then he spoke up "Well, Memna all i can say is that you are welcomed in this village.. well thats all the time that i have... once you fully recover i will sent my anbu to escort you to my office cause i will have more time to talk about more professional stuff there... well thats all the time that i have have a nice rest young man." and the 3rd was gone and now Memna was all alone in the hospital room and then the door opened and the doctors said that he was ready to leave but they said that he needed to stay at home and not to do anything over the top.

After about 2 days Memna had recovered from chakra exhaustion but there was no sign if Kurama yet and he was getting worried.. but he was immediately out of his musings because someone knocked at his door and it was an Anbu member telling him to follow him to the Hokage's office after about 15 minutes of walking there he was inside the office looking at Hiruzen.. and then he spoke up "good evening Hokage-sama you requested for my presence?" the 3rd nodded "ofcourse i did say that when you have fully recovered you would come by my office didn't i? ans the doctors report say that you fully recovered in these papers." the 3rd said while pointing at some papers, Memna could only nod and then he spoke up again "and what have you requested me for Hokage-sama?"

Hiruzen only chuckled "well i want you to be tested as a possible shinobi of our village as you said you have been training to become one since your parents gave you scrolls to train yourself.. and do say what rank do you see yourself in?" Memna took a moment to think and then he swiftly lied to the 3rd "hmm if i had to think about it i would be around Mid to high Chunin" as he then smiled at the 3rd.

after 2 days Memna took his time to train and focus on himself but when he was ready to leave to start his training today someone knocked his door "Coming!" he walked to the door and opened to see that it was an anbu "the 3rd has requested your presence, be there at 5 minutes sharp" Memna could only nod and then he started dashing towards the hokage's office.

"wait wait wait... you mean to tell me that i need to fight someone to prove my rank before i can become your ninja of this village? well i expected something for harsh but that will do actually." Memna was nodding while thinking while the 3rd only looked at him "yes you will be fighting one of our Shinobi you can choose atleast one for each category" Memna only noddrd and started thinking for every field he is an expert at and so he started speaking "well for Jutsu i guess you could fetch me Kakashi of the sharingan, i guess for interrogation and stuff you can test me with Ibiki Morino or the great Anko Metarashi, for Kenjutstu you can test me with Hayate, well i dont know if you have any available shinobi for fuinjutsu but i know im a level 5 seal master.." Memna was actually level 15 seal master but no one should know that yet.

After Hiruzen started preparations and meetings for the testing of Memna and they decided that they will call it a day for now, "Memna you are free to go for now take a walk around the village and enjoy the scenery here at your new home." as he smiled at him and then Memna smiled back and said "yeah i will enjoy my free time but you know im still poor" as he smiled sweetly at the 3rd and the man could only sweat drop "hehe im taking care of that Memna dont worry" the 3rd said as he handed a small bag of ryo

Memna could be seen walking around with sour like face while looking around with memories flowing around his head and then there it was Ichiraku ramen at its finest he walked in and sat down and ordered one bowl of miso soup ramen and then a loud voice came from behind him "OLD MAN GIVE ME MY USUAL!" a laughing Naruto came inside and sat down next to Memna while another Individual came inside while he looked a bit Embarrassed "Quiet down you brat!" Memna said literally to himself, Naruto looked at Memna like he's stupid "WHO ARE YOU CALLING A BRAT!?" And then Iruka Bonked his head "quiet down Naruto dont be so loud!" after that they just sat and ate Memna didnt bother them and just left and got home and slept.
