Author Notes: this is a "My Hero Academia (Boku no Hiro Akademia) fanfiction story. I claim no rights, or anything associated with this series as they are rightfully owned by Kohei Horikoshi. This is an AU story that I came up with after seeing the images of Izuku looking like a snake. Some of the abilities and attacks that Izuku will have either come from other anime/manga series (so please don't hate). The images that I will be using aren't mine as I got them from the web so all credit goes to them. Warning before I begin, it won't be exactly like the series as I did change things to make this story my own. First thing is that Katsuki Bakugo isn't a bully to Izuku as he is a true and loyal best friend, second thing is that All Might never gives his quirk to anyone nor is he injured or getting weaker, third thing is that Izuku's have a quirk will have abilities similar to that of Mina's and Asui's but very different in the way that he uses it, and fourth thing is that I will be not having four people in the story because I don't either like them or don't find them useful for this story (Yuga Aoyama, Koji Koda, Toru Hagakure, and Minoru Mineta). Chapter Two: going for U.A.
Ten years had passed since Izuku's quirk has fully awakened. Both Izuku and Katsuki had made it their goal to enter Japan's number one hero high school, U.A. They had both heard a rumor that All Might was going to be a teacher there. What person wouldn't dream of attending not only the number one hero school but, also learn from the number one hero around. They both worked together training during their spare time to strengthen their quirks. Even though Izuku's quirk had fully awakened, some of the other kids still bullied him telling Izuku that his quirk was more suited for him to be a villain rather than a hero. This greatly angered Katsuki as for he had seen first hand just how great Izuku's quirk was and how much being a hero meant to Izuku.
It happened one day after school as both boys were heading home together since they lived near each other. Both boys were in an underpass when they were suddenly attacked by a sludge villain.
"Two human suits for the price of one. Sorry but I need only one of your bodies as I can't afford to be caught b that damn hero whom has been chasing me." stated the sludge villain as he went to attack Izuku since he looked weaker than Katsuki. Katsuki pushed Izuku out of harms way as the villain wrapped its greasy body around Katsuki's body. Before Katsuki could set off any explosions from his hands, Izuku walked up to the villain. Using his Binding Snake Glare he stopped the villain from suffocating Katsuki.
"I suggest that you let my friend go it you know what's good for you." Izuku hissed at the villain as he then used his Hypnotizing Snake Stare forcing the villain to do as he commanded. The villain obliged to Izuku's commands freeing Katsuki from it's grip. Izuku's claws lengthened as poison and acid lined them. "I suggest that maybe you think twice before attacking people and resorting to a life of villainy." Izuku snarled as he slashed the villain. Izuku dubbed this attack Acidic Poison Claw. Katsuki watched in amazement as the attack ripped the sludge villain to shreds before it crumbled into dust from the poison and acid damage.
After the villain had become nothing more than dust, the manhole cover from the sewer erupted as the number one hero came out of the sewer.
"Have no fear for I am here!" he exclaimed holding onto the manhole cover like a Frisbee. Both Katsuki and Izuku stood in amazement not expecting that the sludge villain to be running from Japan's number one hero, All Might. All Might looked around not seeing the villain that he had been chasing. "Excuse me young ones but did you happen to see a sludge villain come though here?" he asked.
"Damn right we did. But Deku took care of him." Bakugo replied pointing to Izuku then to the pile of dust. All Might's eyes widened when he heard this. Izuku looked embarrassed as he knew it was against the law to use quirks without permission or a hero license.
"Sorry All Might. But that villain was going to take control of Kacchan's body and I couldn't allow that to happen." Izuku stated as his snake tail tucked in between his legs much like a dog's does when they know that they have been bad.
All Might looked at the pile of dust as the wind picked up blowing it away. All Might then let out a long sigh. All Might smiled at the two boys putting them at ease.
"It's all right. You did a good thing in using your quirk to save your friend's life, I guess that I could overlook the incident." stated All Might. A smile stretched across both Izuku's and Katsuki's faces. Izuku then reached for his book bag pulling out one of his hero analysis books. This one just happened to have information about All Might in it.
"All Might can you sign this and answer a question for me?" Izuku asked. All Might took the notebook into his hands after placing the manhole cover back on the sewer. He nodded his head to Izuku. "Is it possible for someone whose quirk is considered villainous to become a hero?" he asked.
All Might opened up the composition book shocked by the full page analyses about his quirk. The ways that he uses it along with it's strength and weaknesses. It seemed that Izuku's notes about what All Might's quirk wasn't that far off. All Might's eyes widened when he read about the ways to better strengthen or new ways to fully use his quirk.
"Young one... There is no such thing as a villainous quirk. Only the way that you use your quirk that makes you a hero or a villain." answered All Might. "It seems that you have a very good analytical eye."
"Thank you sir." Izuku stated as took the notebook from All Might when it seemed that the hero was done with it.
"You see Deku. I told you not to listen to those bullies. We are going to become great heroes regardless of what others say." stated Bakugo.
"I would listen to your friend. I look forward to seeing you both become heroes." All Might stated. He then leapt out of the area leaving both Izuku and Katsuki behind.
After All Might had left, both Katsuki and Izuku looked at each other as they both had wide smiles stretched across their faces.
"Oh my god. That was the number one hero All Might! We had just come face to face with our idol!" Katsuki stated as small explosions erupted from his hands. Izuku opened up his notebook to see All Might's signature. His reptilian eyes widened even more when he saw some additional notes on top of his own. There was also a note stating that he needed to speak to Izuku about All Might's quirk. "Is there something wrong Deku?" Katsuki asked when he saw the look of shock on Izuu's face. Katsuki went over and saw what All Might wrote into Izuku's book. Even Katsuki's eyes widened when he read All Might's notes. "What do you plan to do?"
"I will see him after we try to get into U.A." Izuku replied. Katsuki nodded his head agreeing with what Izuku had said as the picked up their belongings and continued to make their way home.
Several days later both Izuku and Katsuki are seen entering U.A. to take the entrance exams. Izuku could barely contain his excitement.
"Can you believe it! We are finally at U.A." Izuku stated.
"Calm yourself you damn nerd. You will end up doing something stupid." Katsuki stated. Izuku then suddenly tripped over his own feet heading face first to the ground when he suddenly found himself floating several inches above the ground.
"Sorry about that as I guess that I used my quirk on you without permission. But we can't have you trip just before you take the entrance exams as that would be bad luck." stated a young slightly cubby brown haired girl.
"Oh, it's all right. My scales would have protected me from getting hurt." Izuku replied as his Iron Skin had activated to protect him. Izuku willed the scales to vanish from his body.
"Oh... I am very sorry... I had no idea."
"No, it's fine. You had no idea." Izuku replied.
"Come on Deku. We are going to be late!" shouted out Katsuki.
"Well see you around." Izuku stated as he quickly ran off to join Katsuki.
Both boys sat together in the amphitheater listening to Present Mic as he explained the goal of the test that they were all about to take. As Present Mic explained about the different types of robots, a boy with glasses called out Present Mic's missed details as there were three types of robots shown. He then called out Izuku saying that he wasn't paying attention as he was mumbling during the explanation.
"Sit the hell down four eyes! Don't worry about what Deku is doing as if you paid attention to what Present Mic was saying then you wouldn't make yourself look like an ass!" snapped Katsuki. The boy in the glasses could say anything about Katsuki's harsh tongue, Izuku used Hypnotizing Snake Stare to get the boy to sit back down and shut up.
"Please continue Present Mic." Izuku stated. Present Mic sighed before he continued with the explanation before dividing the participants into several different groups. Katsuki and Izuku found themselves in different groups.
"You better pass Deku!" Katsuki stated. Izuku held up his fist towards his childhood friend as he gave Bakugo a fanged smile.
"Come on is there any doubt. I will pass. You just make sure that you do the same Kacchan!" Katsuki smiled back as he bumped his fist with Izuku's own. Then the two took off for their respected areas.
