Author's Note: I want to start out with an apology for taking so long with this, but Dragon Ball as it is right now is...boring. This new arc feels too typical and that kinda just kills my mood for me. Now I know that most people are liking it for the most part, but I sadly can't get into it. Maybe as things progress, I will get into it, but I won't hold my breath for disappointment. Not again.
However, what brought me out of the dump? Dragon Ball Super Heroes, the glorious series that is so stupid it works. I can't go on how interesting this Saga is so far and it only keeps getting better! And Black, he is the saving grace of all of this. As weird as it sounds, he is!
But maybe I'll get more into that later, for now your here to keep reading this story so let's get to it!
A Namekian's Challenge! Piccolo Vs. 17 and 18!
(Chapter Start)
(Roadside, Dinner)
"...Can you not." 18 said with a glare as she stared at her brother.
After heading for Goku's Home, they were disappointed to find no one there. So they were planning to head to the next place to attack, which was gonna be Capsule Corp Island, where Rukido's home lay. Kame House was supposed to be their next destination, but it was along the way to Roshi's Home, so it made sense to head there first.
However 17, in his infinite childness, chose to stop by for dinner for some food. While they didn't need food, they could still enjoy it. 16 was the only one that couldn't eat, voting to wait outside while 17 and 18 went inside. Only 17 was eating however while 18 was watching over him. Around them were a bunch of Humans, currently panicking at the sight of the two while the cooks were making sure to do as they say. Why? Because 17 had shattered every bone in a man's hand before tossing him straight out the window.
Now 18 was stuck watching 17 pig out while surrounded by a bunch of powerless people.
"What? Might as well get used to it Sis." 17 declared as he pushed a tower of plates on the floor. The crowd flinched at the clattering sound, but stayed frozen with their food untouched. "After we kill Goku, we're heading over to the King's Palace and I'm taking over."
"...And why do you want to do that?" 18 asked, clearly not interested...with a hint of annoyance as usual.
"Why not? If we have the power we should take what we want, when we want. And what I want is the world." 17 said as if it was simple. "It's not like anyone could say no to us. Everything is ours to take and no one's gonna stop us."
"Yeah sure, take over the world, because you'll definitely do the paperwork and sign some BS for all that." 18 said, letting loose a huff as she turned towards the window.
"What's your deal?" 17 asked, confused on why she was acting like this. Then a smirk came on his face. "Oh I see, you're missing your little shortie Boyfriend."
"I'm not-"
"Hey, don't sweat it. Maybe you could make him a pet or something to use." 17 said before letting out a full blown laugh. He missed 18's hand twitching while he moved to pick up a burger before his sister had slammed her fist on the table, causing all the food to spill all over the floor. "What the heck! That was perfectly good food! What's going on in that head of yours, sis?"
"What's going on in yours?" 18 snarled.
"What the hell are you going on about?"
"This! All of...this!" 18 pointed out, referring to her brother in general. She was trying to be nice, but she could only take so much from him. "What the hell is with this dominating the world nonsense! And keeping someone as a pet? Do you even remember how Gero treated us?"
Her brother went stiff at the name before clenching his fist. "We don't have to worry about him anymore. He's dead and in the dust."
"It doesn't change the fact that you're acting like this!" 18 said.
"Tch. You act like we don't deserve it. After everything we've been through, after the world decided to screw us over?" 17 asked, leaning forward with a glare. "Do you really think I'm gonna waste an opportunity like this?
"Is there a point to even taking it?" 18 asked back, not a glare on her face, but a solemn stare instead.
They sat in silence for a while before 17 stood up, a smirk on his face. "Well we better get going, we still got Goku to kill and a world to screw over."
"..."
18 chose not to respond in favor of storming out of the dinner, pushing some poor customer over the countertop. 17 could only chuckle as he took out his glasses and placed them on, shining a grin to the crowd. "Oi! Get ready for your King to take over! Please spread the word!"
No one had the courage to respond, something 17 didn't mind at all. Sooner or later he would have a bunch of servants and slaves ready to work at the lift of his finger. An army wasn't needed either, not with all his power. Plus he didn't wanna deal with a rebellion of some kind to scuff up his clothes. No he'd nip that bud as quickly as possible. Maybe he'd even get some personal girls for himself later on and
"ANDROIDS!"
Who turned on the TV?
On the screen was Piccolo, much to 17's surprise as he spoke up. "I know you're out there Machines. If you want to know where Goku is, then meet me at the Archipelago Islands within the hour! If you're not as cowardly as I believe, then you'll come...I will also leave this to the people of Earth, if you see these machines then advise them of my location. Otherwise I, Demon King Piccolo will ravage your souls and use your skulls as pieces for my throne!"
17 could only scoff as he blasted the TV into pieces. Who did that weakling think he was fooling? It wasn't like he was actually gonna tell them, Geor files on him proved that much with his personality. Then again, he was feeling bored and he had fun beating them down. Plus they would have to kill them anyway. Still, was it worth the effort?
"By Kami! Demon King Piccolo is back!"
"He'll kill us all"
"It's the end times! The end times!"
'...Are you kidding me?! I have to toss a guy through a window to get them startled, but green baldy has to announce a stupid name and they shit their pants?' The Android thought annoyed, no, angry. They should have feared him on sight alone. No, he needed to prove himself on top. "Alright peasants, don't start worrying about Pickle-Head. I'll deal with him and his friends soon after I get done here."
"W-what do you-"
"Don't worry about spreading the word anymore." 17 announced aloud while raising a hand up. Energy built up in his hand as the crowd panicked. "Thanks for the food at least."
16 and 18 were waiting outside before the dinner exploded, leaving nothing but a crater filled with flames. 18 looked concerned while 16 narrowed his eyes at the sight of 17 emerging from the fire, his glasses on and a sick smirk on his face.
"So...who wants to head for Archipelago?"
(North City)
Cell could only gleam with interest as he watched a TV from outside it's store. Around him were multiple piles of clothing, people he had absorbed their life essence off. Essence that would give him the power necessary to face Piccolo, but far more importantly, take Android 17 and 18 for himself.
He was close, so close in achieving his goal.
"He's drawing them in. Good. He'll save me the trouble of hunting them." Cell grumbled out, his tail stuck inside the neck of some poor girl.
"I trust that you'll find more towns to consume beforehand." Chu chimed in, carrying a young child over her shoulder.
"Of course. I'm no fool after all. Ah and you brought me a snack." He watched with glee as the child was dropped in front of him, the boy looking on frightfully. "Don't worry, you're dying for a greater purpose."
He instantly stabbed the boy in his neck, draining him dry while scoffing in disgust.
Children didn't taste too good.
(Archipelago Islands)
Piccolo waited upon an island, mediating as he waited for the Androids to come. After his abrupt visit to West City's News Studio, he knew he had brought out terror from the people of Earth. It was necessary however in his eyes. The sooner the Androids had arrived then the sooner he could deal with them.
Either through Peace or Violence was the question. With an answer that relied on them.
'They may have infinite energy, but are sloppy fighters. If I have to fight them, then I'll be sure to show them the full extent of my power. If only to prove a point.' Piccolo would have normally had his thoughts set on destroying them on the spot, but with his fusion with Kami, his mind was far more...peaceful to say the least. 'Damn that Old Man. Even when he's no longer here, he fills my head with his kindness...tch.'
His ears perked up at the sound of the wind changing and opened his narrowed eyes. He could see them coming, all...three of them? He had no idea what happened with the other one and that was concerning. Despite this, he settled on handling the Machines before Cell would arrive. At the very least, he could ensure that the Android's power would not reach his full potential.
17 landed first, followed up by 16 and 18. The Teenage Pretty boy seemed serious given his glare before his smirk came up, followed up with a chuckle. "Honestly, I don't even know why I'm wasting my breath here. Maybe to show you up again?"
"Aren't you cocky." Piccolo said, staying in his position.
"I'm pretty I got bragging rights after wrecking you and your friends' asses." 17 mocked, hoping to get a reaction. Sadly he did not, given a blank stare from the Namekian.
"Can we hurry this along 17? The sooner we know where Son Goku is, the sooner we can kill him." 18 said, a glare upon her face as she laid it upon her brother.
"Yeesh! Women, am I right?" 17 said without a care. And without a response once again for his remark. "Why do I always get a tough crowd?"
"17!"
"Alright, alright! Get off my back, will ya?" The Android said dismissively, placing his full attention on Piccolo. "So are you gonna tell us where Son Goku is or not?"
"...No. I don't think I will." Piccolo stated, standing up straight.
"Seriously? Come on man, don't waste our time with this "I'm the strongest around" nonsense. You lost to us, really easily by the way. Not even worth a quarter of my real power." 17 said, watching as Piccolo dropped his turban followed by his cape. The Namekian cracked his neck while the Android rolled his eyes. "I don't mind beating Son Goku's location out of you."
"You're more than welcome to try, however I don't think you'll like what happens when you decide to attack me." Piccolo stated as a faint white aura appeared around him, something that didn't go unnoticed by 16. "Normally I would have destroyed you on the spot, but I've decided to be a bit more...merciful. You see, there is an Android by the name of Ce-
"Enough with the stalling already! No one is coming to help you, not even one of those Super Saiyans!" 17 declared, his patience wearing thin. Piccolo however ignored him, giving him a blank stare. This only seemed to irritate the Android further, but he managed to hide it behind a smirk. "Well then, guess we're beating you after all."
He took a single step forward before dashing from his spot and charged at Piccolo at near blinding speeds. The Namekian made no move while he reared closer, throwing a punch towards his neck. What happened next was that 17 found himself embedded in the cliffside while Piccolo barely moved his head an inch.
'What the...what the hell?' 17 thought to himself before climbing out. He glared at Piccolo, who didn't even spare him a glance. His sister seemed surprised while 16 was just as expressionless as ever. "Don't think for a second that-
Piccolo suddenly appeared before him and caught him off guard before he was kicked in his stomach and sent flying straight the cliftside and into the ocean behind it.
"17!" 18 exclaimed in shock, not even seeing the Namekian move.
Glancing at the water, Piccolo scoffed as he floated up in the air. He stayed there as 17 emerged, anger flashing across his face as he glared at the Namekian. "What the hell was that!"
"What's wrong? One little kick and you're all riled up for no good reason." Piccolo said.
"Oh I'll show you riled up!" 17 said before he rushed at the Namekian. A clash commenced between the two with the Android going all out as he tried to land a strike on the Namekian. Piccolo in the meantime had managed to dodge each and every strike that the Android tried and failed to land on him, annoying 17 further. "Stand still!"
Piccolo responded by catching both his hands. He flinched and tried to pull himself away to no avail. He continued to try before a power knee slammed into his face and sent him flying back away from the Namekian. Grabbed by the collar of his coat, 17 was stopped in place and met with a barrage of punches upon his body. This had continued on before the Android was finally struck hard enough to hit the island below them. The Android didn't even get the chance to blink as Piccolo appeared in front of him with a hand in front of his face and fired a powerful Ki-Blast that reduced the island to ashes.
"...Tch." Piccolo remained unscatheed from the blast as he looked down at the water. There was a faint green glow as 17 flew up with a barrier around him. "Looks like you're not without a mind after all."
The Android however didn't respond, stuck in his thoughts about what transpired. He couldn't land a ligament attack at all during the battle, each one not even having the chance to land. And the Power, oh the power that the Namekian held completely caught him off guard. If it weren't for his barrier then he would have been...been.
"I...there is no way, no way I'm gonna let you get away from embarrassing me!" The Android's arms flashed green as electricity built up around him. Raising his hands over his shoulder, he built up energy as he kept his glare on the still Namekian. "You people like yelling out moves, so get a load of mine! SUPER ELECTRIC STRIKE!"
A wide wave of ki was released from the boy's hands as it soared towards the Namekian. Raising his hands up, Piccolo fired off an Explosive Wave that had annihilated 17's attack with minimum difficulty. 17 himself quickly activated his barrier once again as the wave had approached him only to be blasted back and sent flying through the air. He stopped himself just barely before he saw Piccolo dashing at him and had brought up his barrier only for a pink ki-blast to strike the Namekian. 17 blinked in surprise before he saw 18 fly up next to him.
"What would you do without me?" 18 asked mockingly. While they're little argument was still in her head, she still loved her brother.
"Like I needed your help. I was just warming up." 17 said with a smirk while getting a scoff from his sister. However he lost it as his expression went soft for a second. "But, thanks anyway."
18 seemed surprised at first, but allowed a smile to touch her face. However the moment was ruined as a voice spoke. "I'm right here you know."
They snapped their heads to see Piccolo floating across from them, his arms crossed as he glared at them. "Are you willing to listen now? There are more things at stake than your games."
"Ha! I haven't even started my game yet, but there's no time like the present." It was like the last few moments didn't even happen, now that his sister was right beside him. He may have considered himself way stronger than her, but with the two of them fighting together he felt like they were an unstoppable force. "Hmm, how about we figure out who can rip your arms off first? Winner gets to wipe out Son-Goku personally."
"...Fine. Let's just get this over with." 18 just wanted this to be done and over with. "Maybe not hold back anymore so we can get to Goku already."
She missed as 17 flinched.
"...You're nothing more than a bunch of children." Their eyes went wide as they turned around to Piccolo right behind, never even catching his movements. "If you won't listen, then I'll just have to force you."
His Ki exploded around him as the two Androids were sent flying back away from him. 18 recovered first, instantly firing a seemingly endless barrage of Ki-Blasts at the Namekian. However he soared past them before closing in on the Android with his hand in front of her panicked face. Just as he was about to fire, 17 kicked him in the side of his head and sent him back just a bit. Turning his head to the Twin-Androids, Piccolo had merely cracked his neck.
He wasn't pleased nor affected.
"Okay then, let's see how you like this! Come on 18!" 17 dashed ahead with his sister right behind him, their intent of a full-blown assault.
Both had thrown punch after punch at the Namekian, forcing him back as he dodged and blocked each incoming blow. Despite this however, Piccolo was easily handling them both. Piccolo had grabbed their arms and slammed them both together before tossing the Androids towards the sea. Charging down at them, the Namekian slammed his palm into 17's stomach, forcing him straight down into the sea. 18 reacted by firing a ki-wave at him only for him to vanish at the last second and appear behind her. She turned around just in time to get blasted into the nearby island, destroying some landscape along the way.
Piccolo prepared to rush in before hearing 17 rush up at him from behind. Snapping his head around, the Namekian fired a green wave of ki and blasted the Android away. Chasing after him, Piccolo landed a solid kick across the Android's head before spinning around and sending another one into 17's side. The Android grit his teeth before holding his hands out as a green orb appeared within his palms, launching Piccolo. Thinking nothing of it, the Namekian moved his hand to slap it away only to find his movements restricted.
"W-what the hell is this?" Piccolo said, finding himself trapped within a green sphere, unable to move at all.
"Heh! Like it? I bet not." 17 chuckled as he held out his hands. He cackled as he fired ki-blast after ki-blast at the restrained Namekian, wanting nothing more than to have a battered and bleeding body of the annoyance before him. "Do me a favor and just die already!"
"Tch. You're getting smarter, but not by much." Piccolo declared while building up ki around him. Once he built up enough, he released it all at once and destroyed the barrier encasing him. 17 froze for only a second before quickly firing ki-blast at the Namekian again. However a stretched green arm suddenly grabbed him by his neck and yanked him close. "I see this was a waste of time now, that much is certain when it comes to people like you...machines like you. You leave me no choice. It's time to end this."
"I'm not gonna lose! Not to an outdated, bag of flesh!" 17 declared with a snarl as he glared into the Namekian's eyes. Green sparks appeared around the Android, shocking Piccolo just enough to force him to let go and move back.
He looked on with a surprised glance as he watched the electricity around 17 grow more intense. As for the Android himself, he clenched his fist tightly as he felt the power course through him, attempting to control it. Snapping his attention to the Namekian who had made a fool of him multiple times. The rage combined with the growing power within his core, he let out a roar before charging at him!
The Namekian crossed his arms to block an incoming punch to be shocked once he was sent flying across the sky. Barely stopping himself short, he dodged a punch from 17 before sending a solid kick down on the Androids head. However 17 recovered quickly and quickly grabbed the leg before slamming a ki-blast into the Namekian's stomach. Piccolo grunted in pain, pumping power around him to push the Android away, the boy looking far more confident now and with that playful gleam in his eye.
'His power, was he hiding it? ...No, he was losing. Badly. Did it increase somehow as we were fighting?' Piccolo was confused, wanting nothing more than to sense the Android's power. Whatever this was, it had to be artificial one way or another. No dark magic he could sense, much less see.
However while he was thinking, he failed to sense the presence of someone behind and proceeded to get blasted in the back of head and sent crashing into the island below. Piccolo growled as he pulled himself out, glaring up to see 18 floating above them, having the same electrifying aura around her, but pink instead of 17's green. Both Androids soon floated next to one another, smirking down at the stunned Piccolo.
'Her too?! Just what the hell is going on here?' Piccolo thought before noticing the Androids charge down at him, forcing him to go on guard.
(South City, Gero's Hidden Lab)
"Tch. To think I would need to do this in order to have the slug dealt with." Gero mumbled as he glared at the screen. One of his drones was watching the battle and he quickly grew annoyed with how the Namekian was easily beating his creations. His slaves! "Thankfully, I became prepared for such an occasion."
He had designed their cores to have infinite energy, that was true. However he added a little something for whenever they were at risk of being destroyed by someone. Dubbing it as an "Overload" that would give their bodies a rise in base power in order to face foes that may have been too much from them. Stress was the trigger, at least for the body. He had hoped that they would have their minds dealt with by now, but it had helped when their emotions were giving them access to their support item.
However there was a limit...and that was what he was counting on.
(Archipelago Islands)
Piccolo grunted as he was forced to block the incoming barge of fist from the Android twins, their attacks far sharper and stronger than previously. Both of them had gained back their spark for the fight, the Pretty Boy Android especially. While this was certainly a problem, Piccolo wasn't gonna let it stay that way for long.
The Androids threw a punch at the same time and knocked Piccolo away, the Blonde Twin holding out her hands while her finger tips glowed. Just as Piccolo recovered, a barrage of finger beams flew out of 18's fingers at lightning speeds. Jumping back to avoid the blast, Piccolo could only grit his teeth as one of the beams struck his knee and forced him off balance. It certainly didn't help when 17 came out of nowhere and struck his head with a solid kick. The Android then landed behind Piccolo and rammed his elbow into his back before 18 kicked him in his chest.
Both Androids had then jumped back in the air, tossing Ki-Blast down at the Namekian while blowing up the island in the process. They had stopped their assault, glancing down to see what damage they had done. From the collapsing island came multiple ki-blast flying out of the smoke, quickly forcing 17 and 18 to dodge. The incoming blasts were fast and rapid, barely allowing the Androids time to stop for even a second. However they quickly realized that the blasts were flying randomly and not anywhere near them. 17 snickered to himself as his sister flew next to him confused.
"Nice aim, Slug-Man!" 17 called out. He was gonna mock the Namekian more before he felt something poke his shoulder. "Ow, what 18?"
"Look."
17 blinked before looking around him. Surrounding them were the "missing" ki-blasts, floating perfectly in place and in the center of it all was...them...
"...Oh...Cra-"
"HELLZONE GRENADE!"
The hovering Ki-Blast soon dashed down at the Twin Androids, consuming them within a massive explosion of light that had shaken the remaining islands. From below, Piccolo could be seen flying up into the air and floating across from the initial blast zone. As it faded, he growled at seeing 17's barrier having protected the duo Androids much to his annoyance. 17 soon let down the barrier, growling under his breath before turning to 18.
"Let's finish him. I'm done playing around with this bastard!" He was pissed and rightfully so in his eyes.
"Tch, about time." 18 agreed completely. Both Androids soon regained their lightning-like aura as it built around them. Piccolo went on guard as they held out their hands, both charging energy within their palms.
"To hell with sparing you then, I'll turn you into scrap here!" Piccolo held out his hands as well before bringing them to his chest. Within his palms formed a small Ki-Blast that grew in size while a bright greenish-white aura appeared around the Namekian.
From below 16 watched from the shaking island as the Twin Androids prepped their attack while Piccolo charged up his power. He knew exactly what would go down if allowed to go on and it would be fine. Both sides would survive if his calculations and data was on point. It was just the question of what would come after.
"DIE!" 17 roared as he and 18 fired a ki-wave at the Namekian. The attacks combined into one, growing much larger and powerful than previously.
Piccolo however refused to allow himself to lose to this. The aura around him grew taller and far larger before seeping back into his body. The Ki-Blast within his hands shined brightly as it turned into a yellowish-green as Piccolo held his hands out and let out a roar. "LIGHT GRENADE!"
The Ki-Blast soared out of the Namekian's palms and towards the incoming attack. Once it had made contact a massive explosion occurred, consuming both the Androids and Piccolo within it's blast. 16 himself had merely crossed his arms as a white barrier appeared around him before he too was within the blast. Entire islands were vaporised by the blast as worldwide the shockwave traveled.
As it faded 16's barrier could be seen damaged, but still holding up as he deactivated it. His eyes scanned the area, quickly detecting the faint, but active form of Piccolo on one of the remaining islands. Scanning the area again, he found the forms of 17 and 18 floating in the ocean. Dashing over to them, he quickly grabbed them both by their arms and dashed towards the island where Piccolo was.
Laying them on the ground, he spoke up. "Are you alright?"
"I got blown the hell up, yeah I'm fine." 17 snarked as he forced himself on his feet. 18 followed suit, quickly annoyed by her now damaged clothes while 17 pulled off his now broken shades. "Bastard broke another pair of shades! I actually liked these too!"
"Forget about your shades will you." 18 said.
"Whatever, let's just fine the Slug and waste him al-" The Pretty Boy Android then fell to a knee, catching 18 off guard.
"17? What's-Grr." She stopped short as she held her stomach. There was no pain, not really anyway, but they couldn't help to find their movements restricted. "W-what?"
"The hell is this!" 17 growled out before falling flat on the ground.
"You Overloaded your Cores while facing Piccolo." 16 informed them, shocking them. "Dr. Gero added these in as a failsafe if Son Goku or any of his allies would be able to over power either of you. It grants you a significant increase in power, but due to overusing it your bodies will be unable to perform properly for a period of time."
"What?! And you couldn't mention this before!" 17 was rightfully outraged by this.
"How long till we're back to normal?" 18 asked quickly, barely standing up.
"Estimated time is Four Hours. One if you power down and allow your cores to cool down." That wasn't what they wanted to hear, not by a longshot. It only got worse as another voice chipped in.
"Well isn't that unfortunate." They turned their heads to see Piccolo standing across from them, blood spilling down his mouth and his clothes torn and brunt, but nonetheless still standing. "Had the situation not been so dire or if you weren't trying to kill Goku, I may have allowed you to get the chance to recover...that will not be happening."
17 was naturally freaked by his expression while 18 gritted her teeth. However before Piccolo could act, 16 stepped forward in front of them, irritating the Namekian greatly as the Android spoke. "I ask that you spare them. We will surrender."
"WHAT!?" 17 exclaimed outraged. "Did you forget that he's one of our enemies or has that old hardware finally expired!"
"16?" The Blonde Android questioned.
"I am only required to kill Son Goku, his allies and family are not my targets." 16 said to the duo before turning back to the Namekian. "I have no desire to keep this fight going, I merely wish to end it,"
"By taking out Goku, am I right?" Piccolo asked, his guard up as he glared at the Android. He wasn't gonna lie and say he held a lot of power left, but he would certainly fight if this was a trick of any kind.
"My programming states that I must complete that mission...however I recognize that he is not an enemy to this world." 16 stated clearly. "His is a noble Warrior who cherishes this planet along with his friends, yourself included."
Piccolo said nothing and allowed 16 to continue.
"I merely wish to be free from my programming, along with 17 and 18 so that we may choose what we desire." 16 continued, his arms rested by his sides. "While I cannot speak for my allies, I do not desire to fight. Not without a right cause to do so."
The Android went silent, allowing Piccolo to think of the Androids before him. He knew from the start 17 was most certainly the most volatile from his behavior alone and that made him a danger. At the same time, his sister seemed to be more calm yet unsure of her actions. Finally was 16 himself, the Android claiming he would love nothing more than to be peaceful.
He knew he could take the other two, even with their power ups, but 16 was a complete mystery. Never fighting, but holding a presence and firm conviction that he could, and would fight if necessary. Facing 16 in his condition was already too much of a risk, yet here he was presented with a chance to keep things diplomatic.
"...Can I count on you to keep an eye on the boy?" Piccolo asked, getting a growl from 17.
"I will do my best to keep him in line." 16 promised for not only 17's sake, but for 18's as well. If 17 were to be forced to be...deactivated then 18 would not take it well.
"...Tch, damn you Kami. You made me soft." Piccolo scoffed while lowering his guard. "You only get one chance, best to take it."

"Oh yes!" A Voice cried out from above. Eyes snapped up to see the forms of Cell and Chu floating above them. Cell's power was quite visible to them all, 16 and Piccolo being the only ones able to figure out how much he had now. "Soon, the final step towards my perfection will be complete!"
"W-what the hell is that?" 18 asked, horror, disgust and dread filling her.
"Allow me to introduce myself. I am Cell or rather Imperfect Cell and I've come for you and 17." A predator-like gleam appeared in his eyes, creeping the two of them out completely. "Now then, let's commence with the feast!"

A/N: So yeah, that's the chapter. I haven't got much to say outside of 16's surrender. He's only following orders and he realistically has no reason to be angry with Goku. He's just a copy of Gero's Son and he knows that. In Xenoverse he admitted that he wouldn't take Goku's life due to how noble he is and that seemed way more likely.

Answer: He's been a perv before and it fits here. I also can't just change character by too much without a good reason and I have yet to think of one. Plus I don't mind Yamcha the way he is, his qualities define him as him and not someone normal or typical.

Answer: Ironically this was an old story idea, but I decided not to go through with it due to how limited the future was at the time. But I don't think I'll go through with it due to a lot of the future being planned out for the story already. Sorry.
iikd: This might be a lil bit of a rant so bear with me here. Honestly, this retelling of the future is not great. The things that made the movie it was based off great are kinda ruined by my opinion. The random humour put in the last fight just doesn't fit the theme and tone of Future Gohans death. The OC android, Chu, also seems unimportant and doesnt really serve a purpose, but my main gripe is Super 13. Really man? You need a controller to use it? I mean, I kinda get it, they are teens and its just a toy they use for some sick pleasure. The impact that Gohans death gives just seems lost. You couldve went with Android 17 losing an arm or Chu dying to at least have some satisfaction from the sacrifice, because now it justs seems like a random revival of a dead enemy, that you really cant hate because he doesnt have a long history of tormenting the Dragon Team or humanity, makes him go over the edge to kill him. This weird mix of trying to go with a sad and serious but also at times funny retelling of future didnt work out at all for me. I didnt find it funny, sad or serious, I just found it ridiculous. It seemed to me that unlike the previous arcs that changed or hinted at things going on in background, this one stayed the same, just with the added characters that sort of ruined the way canon presented the bleak future. Speaking about OC's, just be more careful with them if you add more, I noticed that you arent keen on really going in depth with characters personalities or history and an OC would really need those things for a reader to start caring about them. Same applies to the other 2 OC's you've brought in (Ranch and Corvus), because to me it just felt like they are the exact same people as Trunks. On the other hand, they do have different personalities, Ranch being more sassy and Corvus not being a perfect hero, hes more than willing to not get involved if it doesnt concern his friends, but I'm calling them the same as Trunks because they all just kinda tag along and do the same things Trunks alone would do, like transform at the same time (seemed sorta cheap to me).
1. On another note, how are you planning on handling a harem? Romance is hard to write, but a harem is even harder without making it dumb and really unrealistic, now including children apperantly? Good luck with that, if every "wife" Rukido gets is having a child you will have a metric shit ton of characters to keep track off.
2. More of a segway from the last question, how many more OC's are you planning on adding to the main cast?
I actually enjoy your fanfic and I want to see where it leads, but I just have to question some things and point out the stuff that wasnt all that great in my opinion. I know I'm writing on an earlier chapter but I couldnt help myself. Anyways, stay safe out there.
Answer: It's fine if you don't like some things in the story, it'll be like saying that I like everything in Dragon Ball or some other series. So there's no issue with that. As for the Android 13 bit, I understand what you mean and you got it on point when it came to 17 and 18's teenage personalities, but I felt like it fit given how much they like games.
As for Gohan's Death however, I felt like I handled that well enough. At least he had stopped a major threat before it went after those he cared about. As for not having one of the other Androids die or lose an arm, I did that because of their personalities and how they would most likely react. They were confident in their power and had considered themselves superior and to them, 13 was just a controller they could use for their own entertainment and considering they can't sense power levels between one another, would consider him to be a failure compared to them and far weaker.
If any of them had gotten damaged or destroyed, they would have felt just a bit threatened by the remaining Saiyans. They are teenagers in the end and they give in to their emotions much more easily once pressured. Sure they could believe they were still stronger, but someone like Chu could convince them otherwise. Could I just kill Chu? Yes, but I kept her alive for her purpose.
In the end, I felt like I gave more to Gohan than the special did for him at least.
And trust me, I know I don't get too deep in OCs, but I wanted to keep it simple. Given I'm using Dragon Ball, it works given how characters are normally written in, just a quick bio and why they're here. For something like Naruto or One Piece, that would be a lot more required in my eyes. But don't think I won't improve them, that's my goal for every story I write.
Now onto your questions
1: When it comes to the Harem bit, it was just an old suggestion that I got from some friends, given it was in the old story. I do not intend to just put a bunch of girls in one a single go, I wanna keep small and simple as much as possible. As for children, that's only if I decide they even want a kid to begin with, so far I only have one to think about, but that's just for one family.
2: Not a lot really, I only have a few planned out for the future and that's if I still decide to use them at that point. Some are just meant to be Side Characters like with King Cold's Team. Again, not a lot and some undecided on.

1: I actually like it, given the Potential of what it can mean for Evil Type Saiyans.
2: Glad you see it that way, because I definitely see it and love it. Talk about using the Darkness within you to do some good.
3: I'll be real with you, I wouldn't even trust Sasuke with giving me Gas Money while driving him to Vegas. He has committed...so many crimes to the people of the Elemental Nations and betrayed his Village in favor of a guy who got their leader killed. Why? Because he wasn't getting the amount of power he wanted, Naruto was getting stronger than he was. The fact that he was even allowed to be free on request pisses me off considering he wanted to kill all the Kage for his own reasons. At the very least he should have been forced to stay in the Village and under watch, but nope, he's allowed to be a Lone Wanderer across the Nations! He got off too damn easily.
4: Nagato's considering he did want to repay back Naruto for what he had done to the Leaf. Itachi's however is beyond legendary, I know for a fact that a lot of people would have never been able to complete such a...mission.
5: I'll go in order. Naruto, Sakura, Itachi, Obito, Madara, Jiraiya, Kakashi, Kushina, Hashirama, and Pain/Nagato
6: Not a big fan to be honest. Me and my friends agree that she wasn't really necessary to the story. Though I do sympizie with her given that she's sealed away in the moon, in a whole different dimension, with Black Zetsu of all things. Definitely not mother of the year either.
7: All of it, minus Kaguya and Filler. Filler may be entertaining, but they can make it go on for quite some time!
8: Pissed off. Granted it was shocking, I left me angry for not seeing it coming. And to use Shallot of all people along with his brother for his Master Plan just grinds my gears the wrong way.
9: Yes, yes I did.
10: I did watch it and I semi-enjoyed certain moments.
11: I honestly don't mind it. I expected it to pop it, but not for Black though. It also proves my theory that God forms for Saiyans can be treated like normal Super Saiyan forms, just with more powerful results.
12: I'll hold my tongue until I hear more about it. While I was surprised by the Broly Movie, I won't expect every movie made to be a hit.
13: I like him.
14: Probably would have trained up before deciding to enact some Vengeance.
15: Vegeta didn't really seem to care for him if the movie said anything, but King Vegeta would be stupidly prideful of him and his Grandchildren, kinda like Endeavor is in My Hero. As for the Reunion itself, Vegeta would most likely just kick his father's ass if only to make himself feel better.
16: Awkward for the most part, given Goku doesn't even remember them and that's all they wanted from him when they sent them off. But he wouldn't have a reason to not believe them. Bardock would challenge Goku and his kids while Gine would coddle them with all her might. Though it may get awkward again when they ask about Raditz.
