A/N: Fair warning, this chapter is short on purpose. Onto the story.
Power of Super Vegeta! Of Arrogance and Perfection!
(Archipelago)
Cell looked down at Vegeta in pure shock, unable to properly process the feeling of having been punched in such a manner. That smirk on the Saiyan's face irritated him greatly, but his fear overpowered it greatly. He forced himself to take a step out of Vegeta's fist and made sure to distance him by jumping back as far as he could.
"Where do you think you're going?"
Cell froze, feeling Vegeta's presence behind before he swung a fist around at him. It was however instantly blocked by the Saiyan's arm as Vegeta then delivered a powerful kick into the Bio-Android's ribcage and sent him flying back. Cell dug his feet in the ground to slow himself down only for Vegeta to slam a foot deep in his chest, pushing them both through a mountain. Trunks and Piccolo watched afar as the mountain soon blew up with Cell being blasted straight up in the sky. Vegeta himself flew from the debris and dived down at the Bio-Android, slamming his elbow deep into his back, sending him straight back down into the former mountain.
"I-increible! I knew your power would increase within the Time Chamber, but by so much."Piccolo was in awe of the power that Vegeta was displaying. Hell he was willing to admit that he was jealous of it.
"Cell doesn't stand a chance against him. Though he is holding back." Trunks said with a frown. This shocked Piccolo greatly as he looked back to the fight with a glare. "He's not using the next stage."
"Next Stage?"
"Trust me, he won't need it for Cell." Trunks declared, yet looked on with a frown. His father clearly wanted to enjoy the fight, but for how long?
Cell huffed as he pulled himself up and looked up at Vegeta with a solid glare. He charged up at the Saiyan and fired a ki-blast right up at him. The Prince merely smirked and vanished as the attack soared up in the air and exploded. Stopping in place, Cell looked around frantically for Vegeta before he was kicked in the back of his head and sent crashing through the cliftside and into the ocean .
Vegeta floated above it with his arms crossed and a proud smirk as he closed his eyes. He casually shifted his head as Cell's tail tried to strike him and grabbed it. He yanked the Bio-Android out of the water and tossed him onto the mainland. Cell got up quick and held out his hand, forming a violent red energy sphere within his palm and aimed it right at the Saiyan Prince.
"LET'S SEE HOW YOU HANDLE YOUR OWN ATTACK! BIG BANG CRASH!" Cell yelled as he fired the attack. Vegeta watched as it soared at him before he brought his foot back and kicked the blast straight up in the air where it exploded not long after. "What!"
"Is this all? I'm starting to get bored." Vegeta mocked as he landed across from the Bio-Android. Cell took a step back while the Saiyan stayed in place. "How disappointing...perhaps I'll allow you to use one attack on me and that's all."
"W-what?" Cell asked confused.
"Are you deaf or something? Hit me with everything you got or else I'll wipe you out here and now." Vegeta threatened holding his hands out. "It may be the only shot you'll ever get in life."
Cell gritted his teeth in anger before he immediately cupped his hands and began charging up a Kamehameha. The ground shook violently as he did so, placing as much of his power into the attack as he could. True to his word, Vegeta stayed in place and awaited the attack until it was completed. Once he pushed all he could into it, Cell let out a roar as he fired the Kamehameha, instantly making contact with Vegeta and exploding on impact. Cell huffed as he waited for his energy to return, looking towards the smoke. Terror filled his very being as Vegeta came from the smoke, unharmed by the blast altogether.
"Tch. How boring." Vegeta declared with a scoff before raising his hand up and forming a ki-blast. "This will be over shortly, bug."
'NO! I can't let it all end here! Not now! Not after how long I've waited!' Cell thought, shaking to himself as he stepped back. "Your damn Saiyan! You're lucky I'm not even at my full power!"
"What are you going on about now?" Vegeta asked, annoyed with a hint of curiosity.
"...My body is nowhere close to its full power. In order for me to reach it, I would have to absorb the final Android. Then my power would go far beyond anything you could ever imagine!" Cell snarled out, forcing himself to hold back a smirk. 'Give in Vegeta. Give in to your Saiyan Blood! You want a fight more than anything else and will throw it all away for it! Do it!'
"...And you'll grow in power?" Vegeta asked, lowering his hand.
"No...VEGETA DON'T!" Piccolo yelled, having heard the conversation.
"What is father doing? Cell is at his mercy, he could end it all now!" exclaimed, a hint of uncertainty coming upon him.
"Of course! With Android 18 I will finally have my complete form and grow even stronger than before." Cell explained.
"Interesting." Vegeta said, a smirk coming across his face. "And do you know where this Android is?"
"Around his very area, she couldn't have gotten far during our battle." Cell declared, knowing better. Vegeta huffed as he scanned around the area to the best of his abilities only to sense Krillin nearby.
'The short one is close, he's standing still almost as if...' Vegeta turned to Cell with a smirk while pointing in a direction. "That way, the bald one no doubt found them. There will be your Android."
"Good! I thank you Vegeta and will give you the fight you deserve." Cell said with a mock bow before flying off. This didn't go unnoticed by Trunks and Piccolo who were shocked.
"NO!" Piccolo yelled out before dashing from his spot to chase after Cell. However Vegeta appeared right in front of him and punched so hard in his stomach, he knocked him out without any effort.
"PICCOLO!" Trunks exclaimed horrified. He watched as his father tossed away the Namekian as if he was nothing, but trash. He then turned to him with a glare.
"If you know what's good for you boy, you'll stay right where you are." Vegeta ordered, expelling his power to prove a point. However Trunks was having none of it, transforming into a Super Saiyan while giving his father the angriest glare he could muster. This only made the Prince scoff. "Do you want to be reminded of your place here?"
"You...WHY DID YOU LET CELL GO! WHY ATTACK PICCOLO! ANSWER ME DAMMIT!" Trunks had felt true rage when it came to his father's actions and he was done with any of his crap.
"Why? To have the greatest fight of my life and prove myself that I am the strongest Saiyan in the Universe!" Vegeta declared with a clenched fist.
"You're going to risk everyone's efforts, everyone's lives for your petty pride!" Trunks yelled out.
"I wouldn't expect a half breed to understand what it means to be a Saiyan. We strive for battle, no matter the cost!" Vegeta said.
"EVEN IF IT MEANS MOTHER'S LIFE!"
"...Just stay out of my way. You will never be able to understand what this all means to someone like myself!"
"NOT AS MUCH AS IT MEANS TO ME!" Trunks vanished like a bat out of hell and punched his father across his face, sending him crashing into the ocean below. However instead of continuing the battle with him, Trunks chased after Cell with killer intent. "CELL! IT ENDS NOW!"
As he chased after Cell, his father dashed up from the ocean before chasing after his son.
(Archipelago)(With 16, 18 and Krillin)
Krillin gulped as he stood across from the two Androids, staring at the destroyed remote on the ground. Despite everything he's heard them do in a future not his own, he couldn't bear to end the life of someone so...good. He could tell by the expression on 18's face that things were not going her way and that she was afraid.
"S-sorry, but I couldn't do...that to you." Krillin said nervously. This was still a woman who could kill him with probably the most basic attack.
"What are you-18!" Everyone froze at the booming voice of Cell and looked up to see the Bio-Android far above them. "Finally! You're mine 18!"
He dashed down at the trio as they prepared to take off only him to suddenly be kicked from behind by Trunks. The Hybrid didn't even acknowledge them as he dashed down at the Bio-Android and punched him into a mountain side. He raised his hands up and began forming a ki-blast only for Vegeta to come out of nowhere and kick him in his back and send him crashing into the ground.
"STAY DOWN YOU DAMN BRAT!" Vegeta yelled out as he held his foot in place. However the Hybrid used his free hand to fire a ki-blast near Vegeta's face and forced him to jump back. Trunks quickly got back, firing a blast at his father before dashing at Cell. However Vegeta instantly slammed them both into the cliffside, pinning him down. "You're going to stay right where you are!"
"Get off!" Trunks yelled while trying to push his father off. It was at this moment where Cell made himself known and landed across from the Androids.
"Crap! We gotta get out of here!" Krillin exclaimed before grabbing 18's arm. He pulled her up into the air while 16 aimed his cannon at Cell. However the Bio-Android smacked him away before dashing in front of Krillin and 18.
"Hand over 18 right now or so help me I'll-"
"SOLAR FLARE!"
"BAH! MY EYES!" Cell cried out, clenching his face. Krillin took this chance to form a Destructo-Disk and tossed it down at Cell, slicing his torso from his lower half. "AAAAHHHH!"
"YEAH! TAKE THAT!" Krillin yelled as the two pieces of Cell fell to the ground. 18 looked down at the Bio-Android in surprise, not expecting him to be cut down so easily. However her eyes snapped into a glare as she aimed her hands down. "We should get out of here before-huh?"
"This is for 17 you bastard!" 18 declared as she fired down an endless barrage of ki-blast down upon Cell. The poor split Android was instantly consummed by the blasts, unable to defend himself from 18's wrath. "JUST DIE ALREADY!"
She kept her assault until her attacks pushed through the island and began to make it fall apart. Cell himself fell through the cracks and into the ocean, sinking deeping within it. Once she was done, she breathed heavily in an attempt to calm herself down. Then a hand touched her shoulder as she turned her eyes to meet Krillins.
"It's alright, you're alright." The Short-Warrior claimed, a soft smile on his face. There was a hint of nervousness, but it was overshadowed by his worry over her. Something she caught onto quickly.
"I-Um, sorry..." She had never felt embarrassed like this before. Even after having outburst far in the past, nothing made her feel like...this.
"It's fine, he was really creepy to look out. Glad I sliced him up for you to blow up." The Earthling chuckled as he rubbed the back of his head. 18 smiled just a tiny bit at that, ready to say something else before Krillin was suddenly struck across his face and sent flying away.
"KRILLIN!" She screamed as he went flying onto one of the remaining pieces of land, unconscious. With a glare she prepared to attack anyone only to be rough grabbed by her arm and struck hard in her stomach. "GAH!"
"You will stay right here, Machine!" Vegeta declared, gripping her arm tightly as she winced in pain. He instantly began scanning around for Cell before he was suddenly tackled from behind by Trunks. "DAMN BOY!"
"ENOUGH OF THIS MADNESS FATHER!" Trunks exclaimed as he forced them through the ground. 18 herself barely kept herself afloat as she looked away from the battle and started flying towards Krillin.
She landed right next to the unconscious warrior, lifting his head up to see if he was alright. Thankfully he was still breathing, much to her relief. She moved to pick him up only for the water behind her to explode, knocking her over Krillin. A low chuckle could be heard as 18 went stiff in pure fear. She tried to get up only to be grabbed by both her arms and lifted up, forced to meet the eyes of Cell.
"You've given me quite a lot of trouble, but I have no time to put you in check now. It's time, 18." Cell said, his face growing into a sickening grin. His tail appeared from behind and wrapped itself around the screaming 18's head, sucking her within it with glee. "Finally...finally!"
Once he fully absorbed 18 through his tail, he let out a triumph roar as a green aura appeared around him as it blew up into the sky. It didn't go off unnoticed as 16 looked up in horror at seeing the ever growing power that was being released. Trunks also noticed it, aiming his hands at the power source only to be struck from behind and knocked unconscious. Vegeta scoffed as his son faded back into his base state, tossing him over onto one of the landscapes that remained. His focus then layed on Cell as his grin grew even larger.
"About time!" Vegeta yelled, feeling the power displayed and was enjoying it all.
The light soon exploded into an emerald light as it quickly faded into nothing. What remained was Cell, now fully humanoid in his Perfect form! Complete with a normal nose and mouth, his irises become pink. His tail had completely retracted, only the stinger remaining. He remained shorter than his previous form, his wings growing back, but retaining the shoe-like feet and upward-pointing horns from his Semi-Perfect form. Purple stripes now run down each side of his face, similar to those of a Frost Demon.
"Finally...I am complete!" Cell exclaimed, allowing his power to explode around him. It knocked the unconscious Krillin away only to be caught by 16. He looked at the Bio-Android distraught at the loss of another friend.
"So this is your true power?" Vegeta called out from above as Cell looked towards him. "I can at least admit that it's far more pleasing to look at, but not by much."
"Oh you're so cocky Vegeta. Don't you realize that your power now is being drafted by my own?" Cell asked mockingly. However Vegeta only smirked with glee.
"Oh? I'm afraid you're the one who doesn't realize anything yet, bug." Vegeta mocked happily as Cell frowned. "You think this is my full power? No. What you see now was merely the beginning of Super Saiyan!"
"You sound quite sure of that, Vegeta. How about you show good old Papa Cell what you have to show." Cell said, more than curious about Vegeta's power. He wanted to test his newfound power properly...at least until he had his grand match with Goku. "You'll make for a good appetizer for the main meal."
"You're wrong to insult me, Cell. Now bear witness to the power of the Prince of all Saiyans!" Vegeta declared as he clenched his fist and let out a roar. His aura exploded around, shooting high and wide for Cell to feel, much to his delight. The Saiyan's golden hair became slightly more rigid and pale in color while his muscle mass considerably increased as well. "THIS IS IT! SUPER VEGETA!"
"Super Vegeta? Ha! Then please show me your power!" Cell demanded as he clenched his fist. Vegeta did the same with a proud smirk before they charged at each at their max speed.
Their fist collided instantly, creating a shockwave that echoed throughout Archipelago. Vegeta was more than excited while Cell looked...shocked.
Cell and Vegeta were...equaled?!

Next Time on A Change in Time
Android 16, reporting in. Cell has achieved his Final Form and is now combating Vegeta. Despite this, Vegeta seems to be able to match up with Cell at full power, but it remains to be seen as for who will be victorious...no...something is wrong. Something is missing. You're the key aren't you...Chu.
Next Time: Perfect Cell Vs Super Vegeta! A Superior Lifeform is Born!
A/N: So yeah a Short Chapter in order to make an even greater one next time. Also to clear up some confusion, I was having Vegeta fight as his normal Super Saiyan form, NOT his Super Vegeta form until he showed it at the end. Or otherwise known as the Second Stage of Super Saiyan itself.
On another note, if you're confused on why I decided to have them match up, it's because of the Potential Unlock I had given them all. Given how it not only increases one's power, but their potential as well, it makes sense that Vegeta would be able to grow stronger than he was back in canon.

6. There is this little question that is bugging me? Lord Beerus erased the Zamasu of the present line but Goku Black yet the Time Ring protected him from any effects but what if Goku, Vegeta or Trunks manages to remove the Time Ring or destroy it? Do you think it will have any results or it will be negative?
7. Seeing the ending of GT, and seeing the last time Goku and Shenron will ever be seen got me thinking do you think the others can survive without the Dragon Balls?
8. People say there other fates worse than death itself, mind explaining some reason s to why?

Answers
1: I haven't decided yet actually.
2: Most likely. He may be weaker, but a combined assault could help them win...if they plan it out well enough.
3: Sadly it wouldn't make a difference. For Future Gohan he wouldn't have gained the power he had when he faced the Androids one last time while Gohan himself would have stood a better chance.
4: He would nuke Beerus and any other G.O.D. into atoms. Not even Fusions would be able to stand a chance, especially if he were to gain a new form with it.
5: Major changes. Ben may not be the brightest person, but he would never risk a life such as when it comes to things like the Androids or Buu or just wait around until they come around.
6: Honestly I would take everything said in this series with a grain of salt. They say and retcon so damn much here, so I wouldn't listen to all of it. But no, I don't think destroying the time ring would help. It's already been proven that these timelines branch out into new timelines so it wouldn't change anything for it to be destroyed.
7: Well the Earth Survived 100 years later, so I would assume so.
8: It means that the fate of others does that mean death, but something much worse. This normally includes thing such as slavery(Of many kinds) or having a dieases within your body that causes more pain that it is worth trying to live with it. Other fates can merely be stuck in eternal solitude with no way to end their own life, but be forced to listen to nothing, but silence. There are many ways that it can be like this, but I rather not go over them.
9: It depends on one's mindset really, but I would rather be forgotten than erased. To simply not exist is rather...terrifying to say the least and not something I would wish on any being.
10: Darkside. DC has a really, really large habit of making stupidly overpowered characters and he is a prime example.
11: Light Purple and his Z Outfit. He looked a lot better like this.
12: Either or really. I honestly don't care for the idea of the fight because it's been debated over so many times each with either one side winning or the other.
13: Honestly Super is where the main differences arrive. Where Blue Kaioken was created to be used against Hit, Blue to God was used instead. When Kale was in need of help to face Goku, she was able to beat down Frieza by herself. I have no idea why they decided to make them so different, but I can only theorize this as a marketing strategy. Both Anime and Manga share the same story, but with different actions that lead to the same ending. This way people will watch the show and read the Manga to increase sales while giving fans two different perspectives of the story told.
14: If we were talking about the Original Movie, I'd say they'd give him a better fight due to it being pre retcon. In the actual Anime/Manga, due to the Retcon it wouldn't make any difference and Beerus would still win. Even if they decided to fuse.
15: Nope. He just wants Zeno to be happy and serve him to the best of his abilities.
16: They'd probably be surprised, talk about their experiences and then both Goku and Vegetas would battle.
