Last Resort of Goku! Who's Stepping Up?!
(Cell Games)
Goku and Cell locked fist, trying to overpower each other currently while their match continued on. Despite his best efforts, Goku felt as though Cell was holding back much more than he had originally believed. He knew Cell was powerful, but this wasn't going to end well if he couldn't keep up.
"You're getting a little sluggish there Goku. Don't tell me you're losing power so soon." Cell mocked with a grin.
"Heh. Not in your life, Cell." Goku said with a smirk. He then threw his knee up into Cell's stomach before punching him across his face. "Try to stay focused here, Cell!"
"I could say the same to you." Cell said calmly before turning back to Goku and firing a beam from his eyes. The Saiyan was blasted back into a group of Demons, leaving Cell to stand up freely. "You must be careful."
The Demons were surrounding Goku until they were turned to ash by a stream of energy. Goku emerged and closed in on Cell, striking him multiple times across his face and pushing him back all the while. Goku kept up his assault before spin kicking him away. The Bio-Android slid across the ground until the Saiyan appeared in front of him and blasted him back with a ki-blast.
Goku moved to attack again, but was kicked straight up in the air where Cell was waiting. Several strikes landed on him before he was finally kicked face first into the ground. The Saiyan groaned as he forced himself to stand up only for Cell to appear in front of him and kicked him up on his feet. Leaving no time to react, Cell used his Gravity Impact to fire Goku back. The Saiyan recovered to see Cell dashing at him with a Galick Gun charging in hands. He got ready to counter it before Cell suddenly vanished in front of him. He saw the Bio-Android appear and disappear in several places before losing him altogether.
"FIRE!" Goku heard from behind before screaming in pain as he was struck by the attack. He was forcefully dug in the ground as an explosion came right after, taking up a good chunk of land.
"Well that was fun." Cell said upon landing near the crater. "I do hope you have more than that Goku!"
He waited for the smoke to clear before he saw Goku charging out, his orange top gone and his gi torn up. Cell moved to block, but Goku punched straight through his arm and his body, tearing it off completely. The Saiyan then made a Destructo-Disk and tossed it at Cell, cutting his arm clean off. Cell stepped back, but the Saiyan was already in front of him and forcing a ki-blast into his chest. It sent Cell flying back into the crater while Goku took the chance to catch his breath.
'Have to be more careful. Cell's crafter than he looks.' Goku thought while clearing his mind. He then turned around and blasted an incoming hand from Cell and turned it to ash.
However he was tackled by Cell and forced to the ground. Once the Bio-Android moved to attack him, he quickly kicked him over before recovering. He and Cell glared at one another before charging once more to continue their fight.
(Polar and Mira)
Polar fired a barrage of Death Beams at a fleeing Mira, taking note that the Demon had to use his barrier. He couldn't help the smirk that grew on his face before forcing it away. 'No. I don't think I'll be pulling a Frieza anytime soon. Best to end this while I still can.'
He stopped his attack and decided it was time to get close and personal with the Demon. He dashed at top speed and appeared right in front of Mira with his finger out. Before he could react, Mira was shot right through his chest with blood spilling right out. The Frost Demon fired a shockwave right after, sending straight to the ground. While he was down, Polar formed a small ball of ki before letting it fall to the ground.
Mira pushed a piece of debris off him before a wave of heat went right through him. It went wide across the land, scorching it and burning it asunder. Polar watched it from afar, sensing exactly where Mira was. Once it faded, he descended down to ground level and began approaching the Demon only to narrowly dodge a Death Beam.
"Your aim could use some work." Polar mocked while Mira came to sight. He snarled at the Frost Demon before a smirk came to his face.
"You have a wonderful technique. I'll be sure to put it to good use." Mira said before firing lightning from his hand. Polar was blown back immediately, wincing in pain as the electricity coursed through his body.
He snarled and forced himself back up, pushing through the Lightning and forced a hand to grab Mira's face. Slamming the Demon into the ground, Polar tried to stomp on his chest only to be met with his barrier. He jumped back as it expanded before shooting down ki-blast rapidly upon it. Mira growled as he felt the barrier weaken before he vanished in a purple mist, his barrier breaking completely. He appeared in front of Polar and attempted to kick him only to be blocked completely.
Pushing the Demon away, Polar closed in and began striking him rapidly. This didn't last with Mira suddenly grabbing both arms and headbutting him back. Keeping his grip, Mira swung Polar around and tossed him to the ground. The Demon pressed his palms together before opening them, revealing a small ball of energy before he raised it overhead and formed a massive ball of ki that could only be compared to a Supernova. Polar pulled himself out the rubble and looked up with wide eyes upon seeing Mira's attack. With a sickening smirk, the Demon tossed it down without so much a care.
'His Frieza is showing.' Polar thought while building up energy within his palm. He could already feel the heat from here and it couldn't be allowed any closer no doubt. "DEATH BLASTER!"
His energy exploded around him, firing up a large beam at the incoming blast. It went straight through, imploding from within and shooting balls of fire around the area. Polar breathed in relief while lowering his hand...until Mira appeared behind him with a ki-blade in hand. Sensing him, the Frost Demon made his own to block the attack, but was still sent flying by the force alone. He stopped himself and glared up at Mira before standing straight up.
"You're something else. I'll admit that much." Polar said with a hint of annoyance.
"I'm surprised that you can keep up with me. I wonder how much more power you're hiding however." Mira confessed, his curiosity coming out. He could sense something more, but couldn't figure out what exactly.
"Then you better be ready to prove yourself worthy to see it. That is, if you can keep up." Polar said, his eyes glowing red. Mira mirrored this with a snarl before both charged once more to continue their battle.
(Cell Games)
"RAAAH!" Goku yelled, striking Cell away. He charged right after him and slammed an elbow into the Bio-Android's side, slamming him up against a boulder. Cupping his hands to his side, the Saiyan charged up a quick Kamehameha before firing it. "HAAAAAA!"
Cell pulled himself out just in time to be hit by the blast and caught up in it's explosion. Goku kept it up until he saw Cell shoot out of the blast with his barrier up. The Bio-Android stopped himself mid air and dispelled his barrier while cupping his hands to his side. However he lost sight of Goku altogether, halting his attack. The Saiyan then appeared behind him and slammed his cupped fist down on Cell's back. He crashed straight down to the ground while Goku was already dashing down at him. Goku saw Cell in sight and moved in to attack only for him to vanish at the last second.
"Wha-" Goku was then kicked at the side of his head and forced to the ground.
"Goku, Goku. Surely you must know by now that you simply can't win." Cell announced while the Warrior got back on his feet. The Saiyan was quickly forced into a clash, being pushed back and forced to block every attack. "It's nothing personal Goku. You're an excellent fighter, but your entire being is simply inferior when compared to myself! However, I want to kill you as we fight!"
Goku gritted his teeth while blocking Cell's strikes. 'I don't know how much I have left right now. I'm gonna be out of power soon enough!'
Then a voice called out.
"CELL!" Both Fighters stopped and looked up to see Piccolo above them with his hand held out. "DIE!"
The Namekian fired down a beam at the two without so much as care. However Goku and Cell jumped away from one another as the beam struck the ground. The Bio-Android scowled and glared up at Piccolo with pure annoyance. "Excuse me! We're trying to have a battle here!"
Piccolo however smirked down at the Bio-Android, annoying him further. He turned back to Goku to say something only to noitce where Piccolo attacked. Not a single bit of battle damage instead there was...a rice cooker?
"MAFUBA!" Cell's eyes snapped up to Goku to see the Saiyan with his hands held out and a wave of green energy swarming towards him. Cell brought up his barrier to defend himself, but soon found himself lifted off the ground and becoming one with the maelstrom of energy.
"Wha-WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?!" The Bio-Android roared, unable to escape.
"IT'S YOUR OWN END CELL!" Goku yelled while raising his hands and focusing in on the Rice Cooker. Cell could only scream as the energy wrapped itself around and went within it, taking him as well. Not a second later, Piccolo landed in front of the Rice Cooker and closed it up with a lid.
"Evil Contained." Piccolo said with a smirk before turning to Goku. "You'll have to forgive me for being surprised, but I didn't think you could pull it off."
"Hehe. Better for me to do or else I would've been caught up instead." Goku said while rubbing the back of his head.
His plan worked. Even if it was on the simple side.
He had asked Piccolo to teach him the Mafuba and the two of them worked on it until he understood properly enough. However the problem would be what to contain the Bio-Android in, but Piccolo had his own tricks. Magic Materialization to be exact. Goku wouldn't be able to carry anything into battle and Piccolo would've been too obvious with whatever he carried. So he made it while Goku and Cell's battle was going on. Goku just needed to make sure and not screw it up, which he didn't.
Goku wasn't gonna lie and say he was proud of what he did, but the risk wasn't worth his enjoyment. "Sorry Cell. Maybe some time in the future we'll fight again."
"Make sure that isn't anytime soon." Piccolo said with a small glare as he picked up the Rice Cooker. He knew it would be a bad idea to leave the Bio-Android unchecked for too long, but now they had even more time than before. "For now we need to get this out of here."
Goku could only smile and nod while getting ready to use Instant Transmission. "Good idea, I'll get us out of here and to-
Then the Rice Cooker suddenly exploded from a random beam.
Goku and Piccolo were shocked before they were blown back by the energy released from it. They were quick to hold their ground, but Piccolo suddenly found himself looking into the eyes of Cell. The Bio-Android was glaring into his very being before kicking the Namekian straight up in the air before vanishing. Cell appeared just above before ramming his elbow down into Piccolo's back, knocking straight down into a mountain to the ground.
"PICCOLO!" Goku yelled before Cell suddenly appeared in front of him and punched him back. "GAH!"
"I can't believe it. You of all people would resort to a trick in order to win!" Cell growled out in annoyance. He struck the Saiyan again, not caring for how weak he was right now. "My mercy is now gone, Goku. You've ruined today and disappointed me! Not only am I gonna beat you into a breathing bloody paste, I'm going to murder each and everyone single one of your friends. The best part will be your whore of a wife and your pathetic excuse of a son!"
Goku's eyes snapped with rage as he managed to block one of Cell's strikes and kick off his chest. Up in the air, Goku gathered energy within his hand and aimed it down at Cell. With a mighty roar he fired his remaining energy down at the Bio-Android, hoping to end this nightmare once and for all. Cell looked up impassively at the yellow beam as he caught up in it and the powerful explosion that came right after.
The Saiyan breathed heavily while reverting back to his base form. He had given up all his power for that attack and could only hope it was enough.
"Time to put you out of your misery."
The voice came from behind, Goku unable to defend himself had a ki-blast slammed into the back of his head and crashed into the ground below. He struggled to stand up only for a foot to kick his side and force him on his back. Cell stomped down on his chest, making him scream out in pain for all to hear.
"This is your punishment, Son Goku." Cell said with disappointment. He charged up a Death Beam while aiming it at the Saiyan's shoulder. He was gonna keep his word about Goku's friends and family. Make them suffer for this. "Now-GAK?!"
Cell was caught off guard completely and was forced away from Goku by a kick to his stomach. He recovered quickly and looked up at his assailant only to be confused. "Gohan?"
"G-gohan?" Goku managed to get out, his vision blurry. He could barely make out the image of his son before everything went black.
'Dad...' Gohan thought before shaking his head and glaring at Cell. He felt Krillin and Yamcha land near them and spoke. "Get Dad out of here and heal him! I'll take on Cell!"
"But Gohan-" Yamcha was cut off by Krillin who picked up Goku.
"Trust me Yamcha, Gohan's tougher than he looks. If anyone has a chance to beat Cell now, it's him." Krillin said before turning to Gohan. "Give him hell!"
While reluctant, even Yamcha knew there was little choice. Not with so many demons around! With Krillin and Goku, they all flew away from the duo and hopefully towards a safe place to recover. Gohan and Cell remained silent while glaring at one another before the Bio-Android gained a smirk. He dashed at Gohan at the same speed he matched Goku with and went straight for his arm. However he found that his punch had been blocked and there was now a fist embedded in his chest.
"What the-" An uppercut sent him sliding back before he stopped himself. He looked at Gohan surprised before excitement took over. His injuries healed not a moment later, looking down gleefully at the young Hybrid. "Now this is a development. I can see it now. You're stronger than your father after all. Why this is simply incredible! More so than Goku, the coward."
"...My father is far from a coward. Everything he did, he did for the world...for me." Gohan mumbled the last part while thinking back to his birthday.
(Flashback)
"...And I need your help." Goku finished from within the room. He went over his idea with Piccolo, unaware that someone was listening in. That being Gohan, the boy hiding his energy as best he could so he could hear.
It was amazing to the boy that his father was willing to do such a thing to begin with. It went against everything the man would normally fight for and he was going through with it. His father was something else.
However he thought about his words as well. About him being the strongest out of their friends. There was so much doubt about that, but his father was never wrong. He knew he wasn't weak, not like when he was a little kid. He had long since surpassed the Humans of the group, but how could he compare to the rest?
'...Maybe dad isn't wrong...'
(Present Day)
"That's why you're facing me now, Cell. Not just for my friends, but for everyone on this planet." Gohan declared, allowing his power to explode around him. Cell smirked at his words and entered a stance, his own power growing. Far more than what he used against Goku. "This is the end of the line!"
Both fighters launched at one another for the battle that would shake the planet and further beyond it.

It's Corvus here. The situation is getting worse at this point, both Goku and Piccolo are out of the fight and Cell's getting impatient. Hmm? Gohan's fighting him?! And...doing well by the looks of it. Wait...something else is here...something underground! Gohan, your power. W-what is this?!

A/N: Well this was done faster than I expected, but that's good given the status of the other stories. Explanations then.
Oh no, Goku not throwing Cell a Senzu Bean and using the Mafuba on him! Listen, there was a few list of things on Z that I didn't agree with Goku about, one of those things was with Gohan. Not only did he plan for his son to fight, but didn't bother to tell him that beforehand. Is it meant to be something for him to learn, no doubt. At the same time, I would have found it hard for him to simply believe that Gohan enjoyed fighting so easily. He understands that not everyone is not like him and knows there's more to life than that. Even I feel like he should have understood that much when it came to his own flesh and blood.
Cell himself isn't someone to be underestimated during this Saga, especially this version. Goku already knew he couldn't win so I had him come up with his own plan in order to do it. Thus the Mafuba came to mind. Will this affect the story in the future? Well we'll see about that later won't we? Though I will say that I may alter the technique for plot reasons and I doubt I would be the first to do so.

Answer: One of the few character flaws that I just couldn't agree with. And sadly one that made it's way into Super.
1: Power Rangers, Basically. That's all I get from them.
2: ...Goku's Black's first appearance...wow that took a while...and not for a good reason.
3: So far it doesn't feel out of spite. It may be a return from retirement and not liking how things are being run. It is clear what this Tournament is meant to be about. Rather than Universes, it's Timelines that are fighting.
4: Yes, not much going on so far, but I did.
5: Yes.
6: It seems likely, but I won't get my hopes up.
7: Goku: I'm not that bad...am I? Bulma: I was not that desperate! Tien: What a strange world...and a disturbing one at that. Yamcha: Ouch...just...ouch. Gohan: It wasn't that bad, even Dad wasn't anything close to that version. Piccolo: Tch. As if I would allow voices in my head. Least of all annoying ones. Chi-Chi: ...I never thought I would be more grateful for my Goku till now.
8: I won't be calling it a new form until I see more. It's more likely that his bright aura is making his tone look different and the creators wanted to make this look as good as possible.
9: She's fine with or without one.
10: Something to increase physical resistance
11: I doubt it, it's not like he has any reason to fight him.
12: ...They ran their course years ago, but they keep getting brought back. That's all.

14: Not nearly as many as you would think. Considering I saw more of him in DBZ: Kakarot, he was nothing short, but cowardly.
