The End of the Cell Games! Spirit Vs. Superiority!

Gohan flew up to Cell, the power of the entire world filling his body. He couldn't even begin to describe what it was like, having the power of others within your own. It wasn't unpleasant, just different. Now however that didn't matter. This time, he was taking Cell down and he wasn't alone!

"Let's test that new power of yours boy!" Cell announced, charging up an attack. "Big Bang Crash!" Several red spheres shot out from his hand and flew downwards at the boy. Gohan stopped in place as the blast closed in on him. His aura then suddenly shot from his body and acted as a barrier once the blast struck. Instead of exploding, they stopped in place before the barrier before fading away completely, much to the shock of Cell. "What!"

Gohan seemed surprised as well before he regained his focus and charged up. Taking advantage of Cell's state, he delivered a swift uppercut into his stomach before he started to strike him repeatedly. Each impact only left the Bio-Android stunned further, Gohan only adding more and more power to his attack. He then suddenly struck Cell's chin and knocked him backwards before grabbing his leg. Diving straight down, Gohan slammed Cell in the ground before jumping back with his hands over head.

"Masenko!" Gohan fired the blast, exploding on impact and taking Cell with it. He awaited away to see the result of his word and was more than surprised to see Cell stagger his way up. Covered in burns and his armor cracked, he was shocked by the damage taken.

"This...is something else." Cell muttered to himself before taking a deep breath. His wounds healed a moment after, allowing himself to stretch his arm around. Sasfitied, he laid his gaze upon Gohan and allowed his power to flow through him once more. "Now then, let's get serious now."

"...Time to take you down." Gohan declared, energy flowing around as he assumed a stance.

Cell laughed at the sight before raising his hand up and firing his Gravity Impact. Unlike before, the shockwave shot out across the ground, tearing up the landscape while soaring forward. Gohan however stood his ground and brought his power up, taking the full impact of the attack. Raidtz and Vegeta, who were spectating the battle, found themselves blown away from being too close to the impact. The smoke settled as Gohan walked from the impact unharmed and with glare focused on Cell.

"You...you took it head on?" Cell questioned, confused mostly. Gohan at the very least should have been damaged slightly, but he was completely fine.

Gohan said nothing, leaping from his spot and closing in on Cell. He kicked deep into the Bio-Android's chest, breaking off chunks of his armored skin. Shocked by the sudden impact, Cell brought his barrier and forced the Hybrid back. Yet he just closed in once more and suddenly broke through it and slammed Cell into the ground. As a last ditch effort, the Bio-Android fired a beam from his mouth and blasted Gohan off him and up into the air.

The boy pushed himself off the beam as it shot out to the sky, fading away in time. Turning back to fight, he stopped himself in place upon seeing Cell dashing at him. The Bio-Android attacked, throwing a flurry of strikes while missing every time as Gohan shifted and dodged around him. However he threw his foot forward and managed to kick the Hybrid's chest, flinging him backwards.

Gohan stopped himself barely, but Cell appeared behind and fired an Explosive Wave, blasting the boy into the ground below. Refusing to halt his assault, the Bio-Android fired down Death Beams below at such a pace that it could have been easily mistaken for a beam. For what felt like forever, Cell continued this endless assault until a beam shot up from the ground. The Bio-Android barely managed to avoid the blast before turning back down to see Gohan standing up and glaring at him.

"Don't you dare glare at me boy! If anyone has the right to be angry it's me!" Cell yelled, pissed that he was forced to dodge an attack. Gohan however suddenly appeared in front of him, throwing a fist forward. It was caught instantly by Cell, who gritted his teeth doing so. "BAH! Your strikes! It feels as though they're burning through my armor! What are you doing!"

Gohan pushed him back with his ki, releasing it at full power. Cell growled and forced his own power to try and match up with Gohan's. Their powers clashed with one another, trying to overpower the other before they finally imploded. Within the blast, Cell and Gohan could be seen trading blows at sonic speed as they dashed downwards. They landed on the ground, just away from another before quickly entering their clash once more.

'I need to find a way to replicate this technique of his!' Cell thought furiously while being forced on the defensive. He vanished to avoid one of Gohan's strikes and appeared behind him with a hand laced in dark energy. "Hi-YA!"

Gohan turned around, getting struck across his face and sent crashing deep into the ground doing so. Cell waited to see what his attack had done only to see Gohan fly back out as if nothing had even happened to him. Enraged, he formed two Destructo-Disk in hand and tossed them up at the boy. They were avoided easily as Cell threw another, flying past Gohan as he closed in.

"RAH! WOLF FANG FIST!" Cell lunged forward to attack. However Gohan jumped over him before delivering a roundhouse-kick into his back. Catching himself, Cell turned around and fired a Death Beam, deflected almost immediately.

Gohan cut the distance between them by ramming his fist into Cell's stomach, penetrating through the armor. Blood splattered from his mouth, bleeding through the faceplate and dripping on himself. Yet he ripped himself away and dashed away from his foe. Gohan in return fired a Maseko his way, but missed one Cell vanished. Seeing Cell appear in thin air made him charge up at him and throw a kick in his face.

"It's time to pay Cell!" Several kicks landed upon Cell's face before he was finally knocked away. Gohan dashed in and slammed his knee into the Bio-Android's weakened stomach and stunned him in place. Hands raised over head, Gohan launched them forward. "Evil Masenko!"

An explosive wave shot from his hands, burning Cell completely as he was blasted back. He crashed into the ground and laid there, shocked by the turn of the events. "H-how? How could he gain such power!" His damage was already fading away, brining back to perfect health. Yet it didn't matter, not when he lacked the power to face Gohan as he was now. Then again, who said he didn't have options?

Cell forced himself to sit up and saw Gohan dashing down at him. With a smirk on his face, he used Instant Transmission and vanished before the boy could strike.

Meanwhile, Tien, Krillin, Yamcha and 16 were trying to understand the battle going on currently while watching over the bodies of those lost along with Androids 17 and 18. However they were soon interrupted as Cell appeared across from them before lunging.

"GIVE ME THE ANDROIDS!" There was a chance he could get more power from absorbing them. If not then he could attempt to use the dead Warriors bodies for whatever they had. He didn't care. He just wanted to win!

Cell's fist went towards Yamcha first only for a foot to stomp down on his hand and force it to the ground. Looking up, he was greeted with the enraged glare of Gohan, power exploding around him. "How dare you!"

The Bio-Android couldn't even get a word out as he was blasted away by Gohan's power. He wasn't even able to catch himself as Gohan appeared before him, landing a flurry of strikes upon his now destroyed Bio-Armor. Once it ended, Cell attempted to fly back before he was yanked by his arm. Gohan looked directly into Cell's eyes before he ripped off Cell's arm. Not even allowed to scream, Cell was kicked back to make distance between the two of them.

Cell gritted his teeth and held the stump where his arm used to be, then looked up to glare at Gohan. The boy didn't even look like he cared, holding out his limp arm as if it was trash. His aura then suddenly flared and his lost arm began bruning away into particles of energy until finally vanishing into nothing. Once that was done, Gohan took a step forward, making Cell swithly raise a pair of fingers to his forehead.

"LET'S SEE YOU SURVIVE THIS! SPECIAL BEAM CANNON!" Even though it wasn't fully charged, his natural power and it's penetration should still work! The Beam shot towards Gohan, who raised his hands up as Ki built up in front of them. As soon as it drew near, it was slapped away and knocked into a nearby mountain. "DAMN IT!"

The Dark Energy building up from within was fully let loose. Cell's body had been brought back to perfection as he let loose a scream. He shot up to the air as the dark energy released around him forming into a large sphere of energy and heat. Gohan only gritted his teeth and cupped his hands to his side before he began.

"KAMEHAMEHA!" Gohan yelled, firing the beam up. It slammed into Cell's growing sphere of energy, letting loose a shockwave that echoed continuously across the world.

The force would have blown away the Dragon Team if they weren't behind Gohan. Now could only watch on as the young boy was doing all in his power to win.

"WHY WON'T YOU DIE! PERISH ALONG WITH THIS PATHETIC WORLD OF YOURS!" Cell roared, the orb in his chest burning his very being as it glowed.

"Never..." Gohan growled out, the energy from the world seemed to be growing and growing. It seemed to understand his anger, allowing more of it's power to come out. With Gohan as it's controller. "NEVER!"

The beam suddenly doubled in size and pierced through the Cell's shell of energy. The Bio-Android's rage was replaced by panic, making a barrier around himself in hopes to survive the blast. In spite of it all, Gohan suddenly flew up through his Kamehameha with his hand held out and covered by energy. Letting loose a loud roar, he struck straight through the barrier and pierced out the other side of his chest. The orb within had been launched out, flying out into the open sky.

"N-No!" Cell yelled, feeling his power drop once more. He ripped himself out of Gohan's grip as the Dark Energy around him faded away. "My power!"

He felt far weaker now. Not just because of his power lowering either. His soul, his very being, felt weaker than it was before he had taken the power. His healing was also excruciating much slower, the hole in his chest filling him with a burning pain that he never experienced before. Breathing only made it worse for him.

The hit to his power also made it hard for him to keep afloat and not a moment sooner, he dropped from the sky and crashed into the ground. Weakly, he forced himself to stand before noticing Gohan landing across from him with his hands clenched. He mirrored this out of pure frustration and made a ki-blade.

"I...I refuse to allow myself to fall here! I won't stop, not until I make you pay for all you've done!" Cell announced loud enough for all to hear. He forced a step forward only to see Gohan already in front of him.

"Sorry, Cell...but it's time for this to end." Gohan declared. The Bio-Android brought his ki-blade down only to be caught in Gohan's palm. Within his free hand was a pulse of the World's energy before he thrusted into Cell's side.

Pain ignited within the Bio-Android's body upon feeling it. It laid waves into his body, not leaving anything untouched and left each new wave feeling worse than the last. However it was once he felt it touch his soul that he finally screamed. His eyes went wide in realization about Gohan and the use of the Spirit Bomb's energy. Something he had completely overlooked.

'A technique created using the positive energy of those around the user and turning it into a devastating attack.' Cell memorized in clear realization. Everything slowed down for him, watching how the energy soared through Gohan's hands and how was ready to unleash everything upon him. 'An attack that can only affect those who are evil.'

And he was Evil.

This was going to hurt...a lot.

Gohan released everything. Throwing punch after punch upon his body, tearing at it and ripping it to shreds. His Bio-Armor was gone within the first strike, fading away into nothing as they hit the ground. The punches upon his actual body were far worse, the waves of energy taking advantage of his growing sensitive flesh and thus himself. This went for what felt like hours for Cell, but it had only been a few mere seconds.

Once it was finally over, Cell found himself falling to his knees with his arms hanging limply. All over his body were patches of spirit energy that were burning away his body very slowly. By the end of it, nothing would remain. He couldn't even absorb it, not as it was. This...was truly the end.

"...Damn it...to think it ends like this." Cell muttered, not bothering to yell anymore. There was no escaping this, not this time. "To think I gained the ultimate power only to lose it all at the end. Thanks to you, out of everyone here today."

"...No. Not just me." Gohan said, looking down at glare. "You challenged the whole world to that fight. You just made it possible for us to fight together."

"That is my fault, isn't it?" He should have just ended it with a mere Kamehameha or a Big Bang Attack. Instead he had to make it all ironic and flashy. "Tch. I should've used something else. Maybe fuse something together like you had done."

"Why are you still treating this lightly?" Gohan questioned, angered at Cell despite his state.

"Because I refuse to go out whining and crying." Cell declared firmly. "I lost the game, Gohan. Not thanks to Goku. Not Piccolo. Not even you. My own foolish mistakes in battle led me to this point."

"None of this ever needed to happen." Gohan said, getting a scoff in return. "I'm serious!"

"I know you are. Despite all your power, you still allow a weakness like compassion to fill you." Cell laughed through the pain as his arms disappeared. "I was designed personally to help the old man take over the world and to end your father. Yet I never believed in fate. Not since I was aware." He wanted to prove himself as the greatest being in the Universe and for a moment he did. There was nothing to change, nothing to regret, all of this he would do again. With a few obvious changes. "However, even with my desire, it was clear which one of us was the better warrior. We're like you and I. Warriors like us have achieved the power that many could only dream to wield."

"We're nothing alike. I got stronger to help everyone on this planet. To keep it safe from you." Gohan said, watching how Cell was fading away. "That's all I ever cared about."

"...Tch. You're such a child." Cell mocked freely as he fell forward. Only his head remained now, slowly fading away as he spoke his last words. "So long Gohan. I do hope you'll join me in hell one day. That time...I tear your soul apart and leave nothing behind."

The Hybrid said nothing as Cell finally faded away. Not a trace of DNA left behind, the Bio-Android would leave for Otherworld, where many of his victims awaited. Gohan closed his eyes for a moment, reverting back to his base form. He held out his hands and released the energy used by Gohan, flying back to their original owners. As for Gohan himself, he finally fell backwards and allowed a smile to reach his face.

"He...he did it." Vegeta said, shocked by the turn of events.

"Of course he did. He's my nephew after all." Raditz said, smiling widely at the turn of events.

"...He's far from being the same brat back then." Piccolo said softly, having woken up not too long ago.

"He has..." Raditz trailed off, deep in thought. It was quite the change for Gohan in his opinion. Having been part of his training thus far, he felt like the boy had grown up into a true warrior. "That he has..."

'You did well, Gohan.' 16 thought, glancing towards the sky with a smile. 'The world owes you gratitude for your service to the Earth. I will do my best to help you keep this peace.'

"We did it dad. I hope you're watching from up there." Gohan said, opening his eyes and raising his arm up. He kept it open as he watched the energy soar across the air, hopefully back to where they belonged. "Thank you, everyone. We won."

Cell was gone.

(Wasteland)

Towa appeared from a portal, Mira behind her as per usual as they stepped into a wasteland. A small, but noticeable crater was in front of them, emitting a dark misty energy as Towa raised her staff up. Out of the crater came Cell's Orbs, cracked, broken and enmity the dark energy.

"So this is it?" Mira asked.

"Yes, I must say I didn't think it would work so well. I should have placed more faith in Mechikabura." Towa said, taking the orb and turning around. "We should leave before anyone else notices."

Mira huffed, but complied nonetheless by stepping back into the portal. Towa found herself giggling as she stepped in after him, looking down at the orb, breaking apart to reveal itself as nothing more than a shell.

In it's place was a small red sphere with a single dark star in it's center.

Next Time on A Change in Time

Tch. I can't believe I'm doing this. I am Vegeta, Prince of the Saiyans. Cell has been dealt with, thanks to the Kakarot's Brat. All there's left now is to bring back all those killed with the Dragon Balls...What? The hell do you mean! T-that damn clown! Leaving me here like this...tch, I should make sure the boy is alright at the very least.

Vegeta glanced around in pure and utter confusion. One moment he was in the woman's lab, next he was at some field with waist high grass.

"What the hell is this?" Vegeta asked aloud, looking down at a giant yellow mouse with rosy red cheeks. "The fuck you looking at! Huh? HUH!"

"Pika." The Mouse said, smiling up at him.

"You wanna die! Well guess what, you're gonna die!" Vegeta said, forming a Big Bang attack. Before he could fire it however a red and white ball smacked him in the face as a red beam suddenly sucked him. "WHAT THE FUUuuuuu..."

"GOOD JOB CHU-CHU!" Nappa said, picking up the ball. The Pikachu jumped onto his shoulder and went under the Pokemon Trainer's hat, peeking out from underneath. "With this, Pridemon I'm one step closer to becoming the Pokemon Master! And it's a shiny one too!"

Screams could be heard within the ball while Nappa walked through the fields, ready to continue his journey to catch them all and be the best that no one has ever seen.

A/N: That's it. End the tape. The Cell Saga is finally done. About time too because I'm ready to move on already, same as the rest of you. I think.

Now I know it was a little short, but it was really meant to be just the fight alone and for Cell it was hardly that much. Spirit Bomb is a move that can only harm those who have Evil in their heart(At least back then it was! F-U Super!). So you can imagine what would happen if it was utilized in the form of a more quick and usable attack. Of course, this won't come up again anytime soon, this is something that should be used when it's needed.

Oh and say hello to the Dark Dragon Balls from Heroes. Yeah I'm using them here and for a good reason that I can't reveal yet. You'll have to wait and see when it comes to them later on, but for now, that should be all.

1. I thought about a funny scenario if DBZ Abridged did scene like this. This comes from Broly's Second Coming, where Gohan fight against Broly but he's beaten and is caught by Broly's strong bearhug. This is what I thought would happened if they did continued with the series:

Gohan is currently struggling to break free from Broly but Broly's grip too strong.

Gohan: *struggling to break free*

Broly: Hehehehe, time for Broly to crush you *laughs maniacally and tighten his grip even more*

Gohan: *screams in pain*

Broly continues to tighten his grip until he hears a sound never before

Gohan: *Squeak*

Broly: Huh *looks confused*

Gohan: Did I just squeak like- *caught off by Broly when he did it again*

Broly: *squeeze him again*

Gohan: *Squeak again*

Broly: Hahahaha Oh My God, this is hilarious! *Squeezes him again and again and again*

I gotta say, I'm sick of Cell already, kick his ass Gohan! Also, I love how you did the thing with Cell and the spirit bomb, that was crazy how he was stealing all of Earth's population's energy. I'm surprised that baby Ranch and Trunks didn't pass out, I guess it's their Saiyan half keeping them conscious.

Answer: Let's be honest, it's just plot. But hey, Cell's dead so there's that. Looking forward to the next arc already.

denisegalante1009: I gotta say I always look forward to updates and I'm not disappointed I gotta say for one thing it was a good thing Chronoa was able to create that barrier in time to stop Cell from taking her energy along with Tight's and Baby Corvus I mean if her own God Ki had been taken and added to the spirit bomb the result could've been worse. Anyway we approach the end of the Cell Games and I imagine that next we'll get Bojack and the Hera Clan and then after that I imagine you'll either go straight to the Buu saga or of Plan to eradicate Saiyans and then the Buu Saga. Anyway I look forward your next update!

Answer: I have a few things planned out before we get into the Buu Saga, some of which may blow your mind from how crazy they are. But I'm glad you like it.
