Cell No More! For the Future!
(Kami's Lookout)(Later)
The Cell Games had came to an end with the terror known as Cell defeated. The world was safe and it was all thanks to the efforts of the Dragon Team. More so ever Gohan, the boy coming far from the shy hybrid he was their strongest warrior. Had it not been for his efforts, they would have surely fallen. A normal Saiyan would have boasted about his power, but Gohan only didn't care for that. He truly wanted his friends, his family, his entire world to be kept safe, but even with all his power, he couldn't prevent the casualties that took place.
Which is why they were gathered together, the Dragon Balls assembled together and awaiting use. The bodies of their friends were laid out behind them while the unconscious Androids were awaiting inside the building. They were being watched over by Mr. Popo and 16.
Now it was time.
"Come forth, Shenron!" Dende yelled, hands raised up to the air. The Dragon Balls glowed before an explosion of light came, the sky above darkening not long after. Not a moment later Shenron made himself known and floated above them.
"State your wish." The Eternal Dragon demanded, laying it's eyes upon the group before them.
"Well, we might as well keep this simple." Yamcha said, stepping up to the Dragon. "Shenron! I wish for you to bring back all those killed!"
Shenron's eyes glowed briefly before fading back to normal. "All those who have passed this year have been brought back. Those who have been revived before however shall remain in another world."
Corvus didn't care for the words, instead looking to the bodies before them. Their bodies were completely restored back to normal as their eyes fluttered open.
"Where...?" Trunks asked, glancing around.
"I just got to the front of the line!" Ranch suddenly explained, pissed off for some reason. She then blinked and looked over her head before smiling. "Oh, I'm alive!"
"We all are." Rukido chuckled out, holding his chest. However he was struck in his arm by the girl, who glared at him.
"You fucking disappeared with that Instant Transmision BS!" Ranch yelled at him.
"Not my fault." Rukido said, dismissively. More would have been said, but they were soon glomped by their friends and held in a very tight hug. "And now this is happening."
"You guys..." Corvus muttered, trying to keep his tears in check. He had never felt more devastated than he was a mere hour ago. Not only losing his friends, but his father as well. It was a punch to his gut that he couldn't even avenge them.
"Don't worry kiddo. We're here." Rukido said, patting his son's head. Corvus couldn't even be embarrassed by the action, but he did ignore him in favor of tightening his hug.
"D-dad!" Ranch exclaimed, unable to hide her embarrassment.
"Shut it. Just let me have this, you little brat." Raditz muttered, refusing to let go. Ranch could only blush, which only increased as she realized her father had pulled both her and Trunks tightly next to each other.
It didn't take long for Trunks to realize that his own father wasn't here. Yet he didn't feel any sadness from it, he fully expected it. Besides, he learned of what happened after his death and couldn't stop the smile that came onto his face. 'Thank you father.'
"Looks like Goku didn't get revived." Yamcha whispered with a sigh.
"Of course he didn't. He's been revived before by the Earth's Dragon Balls." Piccolo pointed out with a growl.
"I was kinda hoping Shenron would cut us some slack for once." Yamcha admitted. The Namekian rolled his eyes and let out a groan at this.
"It just means we have to use Namek's Dragon Balls to bring him back." Tien said, having caught on to their conversation. "He hasn't been revived by them yet, though I don't know if we can even use them. We'd have to go all the way to Namek."
"Why wait? We got Shenron here, why don't we just wish for them to know what we need?" Yamcha pointed to the Dragon, who was waiting impatiently.
"Do you have a wish or not?" Shenron asked, clearly annoyed.
"Right. Let's-" Yamcha began only for a voice to enter all of their minds.
"Hey! Don't I get a say in this!" Everyone looked dumbfounded upon hearing Goku's voice.
"GOKU!" Nearly having screamed.
"Dad!" Gohan exclaimed, more than happy to hear his voice.
"Heya Gohan! I'm using King Kai to speak with you guys!" Goku explained with the Kai grumbling about how he wasn't a phone booth. "But I wanted to speak with you guys before you made another wish. I can't come back."
"W-what do you mean?" Krillin asked, fearing the answer.
"A lot of this happened because of me. Frieza, the Androids, Cell, they were all targeting me for the most part and a lot of people died because of it." Goku said rather bluntly. "Who knows how many people work for Frieza or if they're anymore Androids."
"But that's not your fault Goku!" Trunks exclaimed, not understanding.
"And what about the Demon Realm! We still have them to think about!" Polar said.
"I haven't forgotten guys, but if I'm here then it's one less thing for them to think about. Besides, all of you are strong enough to defend Earth! Especially you Gohan, you've come far." Goku praised, letting out a laugh doing so. Yet Gohan seemed downed by the news, not going unnoticed by his father. "Don't worry, Gohan! It's not like I can't talk to you guys whenever!"
"Really?" Gohan asked, his interest peaked.
"Yup! King Yemma gave me permission to have King Kai contact you guys whenever and the same thing if you need me." Goku explained.
"I AM NOT A TELEPHONE!" King Kai exclaimed.
"And it's not like I'll be gone forever, but I know the world is in safe hands. I know it is." Goku said, placing all his faith in them. Yet he also at least wanted them to have some semblance of peace as well. Even if he had to be away for a while anyway. "We'll meet again, I promise you guys. For now though, this has to be goodbye. Stay good everyone. Especially you Gohan, we'll talk again soon!'
And just like that he was gone. Maybe for a little while, but he wasn't here.
"...You know, as strange as it sounds. He's right." Krillin said thoughtfully. It really hadn't felt like the Earth Raised Saiayn was gone, almost as though he was just casually standing with them.
"I have to agree." Tien said softly, a smile gracing his face. Memories had flooded them briefly in the past, but they swithly faded as quick as they came. "Goku...you always make all the hard choices."
"Tch." Raditz scoffed, turning away to hide his smirk. 'Bastard...you stay well Kakarot.'
"Dad's not going anywhere. He'll always be here with us." Gohan said softly, understanding his father. As sad as it made him, he couldn't help but feel proud at being his son.
"Hello! Do you have another wish or not!" Shenron yelled, ruining the mood.
"Oh. Right...does anyone else have a wish?" Yamcha asked, looking around.
"...Shenron!" Krillin yelled, catching the Dragon's attention. "Can you make the Androids into Humans!"
"What?! Why would you waste a wish on them?" Ranch demanded.
"Well they were Human once too ya know! W-well at least 17 and 18, but that's besides the point!" Krillin argued, surprising them with how quick he was to defend them. "They had their lives taken by Gero, it's not fair to them to not have the chance to be normal."
Ranch looked like she wanted to say more, but found herself stopping. "...Fine, do what you want."
"Wow...you actually showed a sign of maturity. I'm impressed." Corvus admitted.
"Bite me." Ranch said. Regardless of how much she hated the Androids, even she couldn't blame them for all of this. Besides, she had the Androids from her timeline at least.
"Talk tough when you actually get to my level." Corvus smirked at her annoyed expression. Trunks could only sweatdrop as he watched them bicker, but couldn't help the smile that came to his face right afterwards.
However Shenron spoke up. "That wish is beyond my power."
"...Bull." Rukido said with a deadpan expression.
"Yeah! You can revive the dead!" Krillin exclaimed, clearly annoyed with the Dragon right now.
"The power of the Androids draft over my own. Only if the creator of the Dragon Balls can grow in power, should my abilities be extended." That caught many of them off guard. They never once considered the possibility of Shenron growing stronger. "Now do you have another wish or not?"
"Then...can you remove the bombs inside of them?" Krillin asked.
"So long as you wish for it." Shenron said.
"I wish for the bombs to be removed from the Androids!" Krillin yelled. Shenron's eyes shined red for a split moment before fading back to normal.
"It is done. Now, farewell!" Shenron soon vanished, leaving the sky to return to normal. The Dragon Balls turned to stone, preparing to take flight only for Raditz to suddenly catch them before they flew off.
"I refuse to go searching for these things when we need them." Raditz muttered aloud. They always found themselves in the most ridiculous places when left to fly off on their own. "Not this time!"
It was at this time that 18 had come out from around the corner with a glare. It was set directly onto Krillin who gulped as she approached him. "Why the hell did you waste your wish! You could have had anything you wanted, but you got rid of our bombs instead. Why?"
"W-well, it was just the right thing to do. That's all." Krillin said, trying to fight off the blush growing on his face. "And besides, it wasn't a wasted wish. Least of all on you, 18."
Now a blush was growing on her face, visible to all except Krillin himself. She honestly wasn't expecting anyone to actually care for her well being outside her brother. Especially when it came from someone she was originally ordered to kill. '...Shit...he is kinda cute.'
However an explosion instantly caught their attention as they all turned around to see 16 out of the building and on his back. Mr. Popo stepped out of the destroyed building, completely frightened as he did so. Stepping out after him was 17, looking far from pleased as he approached Mr. Popo while pointing a finger at him.
"You better tell me what I want to know or else!" 17 yelled, charging up a beam. However before he could fire, his arm was suddenly grabbed and forced down. Turning his head, he was greeted with Polar standing over him and gripping on his hand tightly. "Let me go, damn it!"
Polar only responded before slamming his knee so hard into 17's stomach, it forced him to his knees. Spit splattered from his mouth, the wind completely kicked out of him in a single blow. Instead, Polar looked towards Popo and 16. "You two okay?"
"Y-yes." Popo said while 16 was forcing himself to sit up.
"I will survive. Damage is repairable." 16 admitted, his head sparking as he said this.
"Don't worry, big guy. Bulma can get you fixed." Rukido said, approaching them. He then set his gaze upon 17 and crossed his arms. "As for you. You're not gonna be attacking anyone on Earth."
"You think you can talk down to me?! Some damn animal who thinks they're better than me!" 17 yelled while jumping his feet. He was about to attack only for 18 to step up in front of him, looking far from pleased. "What the-Get out of my way 18!"
"I'm not going to watch my brother get killed!" 18 exclaimed, holding her ground. She didn't even allow him to speak up again. "If you haven't noticed, they could've killed us at any time while we were unconscious and you just want to start trouble with them!"
"They are nothing compared to us! To me!" 17 declared forming a ki-blast and aiming it at Polar. Polar's tail slapped it straight up in the air while he looked down at 17 unimpressed.
"You see? That's just him. Almost everyone here can just wipe us out by backhanding us. You can't win here and you sure as hell can't start any more trouble." 18 demanded, yet holding a soft expression.
"She's right." Rukido said, catching 17's attention. "If we even hear about you causing trouble, then we'll find you and deal with you."
"...Damn it..." 17 considered himself many things, but stupid wasn't that list. He felt the impact Polar laid on him and it actually placed fear in him. He didn't want to imagine what the others could do. "It wasn't supposed to be this way. We would have all these damn Humans running from us! We wouldn't have to worry about anyone ever coming after us again!"
"We still don't have too. Cell's gone and Gero's in the wind. There's no reason to keep this up." 18 explained, but the scowl on her brother's face was more than concerning. "17."
"Forget it!" 17 soon took off from the platform and out into the sky. He looked like he was considering attacking, but one look from his sister stopped him. Instead he gritted his teeth and took off into the sky.
"He'll be trouble later." Piccolo said.
"Maybe, but to be quite frank, I'm officially done for the day." Rukido said. They could always worry about 17 later if he chose to cause trouble.
18 looked up to the sky, clearly heartbroken with how quick 17 had left. She knew that their past hadn't been great and it stuck to her brother even up to this day. Still, she hoped he would move past it one day. He would if he was gonna stay on Earth.
"Hey, you okay?" She turned to meet the small smile of Krillin. "I'm sure he'll come around someday."
"I wish I could believe that." 18 said honestly, letting out a sad sigh.
"Well there's nothing wrong with hoping at least. Right?" Krillin asked, earning a smile from the Android.
"I suppose so."
"E-erm. Maybe we should get 16 to Bulma. He really needs to be repaired." Krillin said, glancing over to the behemoth of an Android.
"You're right." 18 instantly went over to 16's side and lifted him as gently as she could. "Mind leading the way?"
"No I do not." Krillin said. Not long after they took off from the platform and towards Capsule Corp.
"I better go with them." Trunks said, getting nods from his friends. It wasn't long until all the Fighters took off, leaving Dende, Popo and even Piccolo here.
"Will you be staying, Piccolo?" Dende asked.
"It'll be best if someone watches over you. Though you are Earth's Guardian, you need protection." Piccolo said honestly. They already lost the Dragon Balls once, even if it was for a short period. There was no reason to risk it.
"I see...do you think Shenron was right?"
"Hmm?"
"About his power being dependent on my own?" Dende asked.
"In truth, yes. You're no doubt more powerful than Kami, that much was apparent with our increased Wish count. Why?" Piccolo asked.
"I don't want to be useless, like I was today. Even if I'm not a fighter, it's no excuse when I've been asked to watch over this planet. Even less so when you guys are fighting instead." Dende admitted. "If I can at least make the Dragon Balls more powerful, maybe we'll be able to use them to deal with the next threat."
"I don't agree with that statement." Piccolo said, catching Dende off guard. "Relying on the Dragon Balls to fix our messes will only result in more problems in the future."
"Oh..."
"However." Dende perked up as Piccolo continued. "That doesn't mean we should ignore them either. They're our last resort if things go too far gone. If you want to grow more powerful then I have no reason to stop you."
"Then you'll help?"
"I'm already defending you. No harm in training you." Piccolo said, a smirk growing on his face. "Just know I'm not what you call a gentle teacher. Best prepare yourself after I rest."
Dende could only gulp.
(Son Household)
Raditz could sigh as he heard the cries of Chi-Chi. Gohan and the Ox-King were comforting her right now over Goku's death along with his choice to stay in the otherworld for their sake. However he was dealing with tears coming from Launch, currently her sweet personality, hugging Ranch tight enough to actually hurt the girl.
"M-my baby!" Launch cried, refusing to let go. Ranch could only remain silently, knowing no amount of words could actually comfort her. Knowing someone close to you passing out of nowhere and being hurt by it was what she felt when Gohan passed.
Another pair of arms wrapped around them in the form of her father, his grip remaining in place. Raditz could only be angry at Cell for all this. Him and his ego. 'I won't let another come close to taking you again...none of you.'
(Capsule Corp)
"...What?" Vegeta asked, clearly in disbelief. Before him were Trunks and Bulma, both having sadden expressions. "What the hell do you mean Kakarot isn't coming back!"
"Goku wanted us to have some form of peace and believed the best way to do that was to remain dead." Trunks explained, looking down.
"Leave it to Son to make a choice that big without thinking of how others would feel." Bulma said, having no real anger in her voice. Though she did have to wipe away a tear at the thought. "At least you came back though, Trunks. I just wish I could wring Cell's neck!"
"It's okay, mother. Cell got exactly what he deserved." Trunks said.
"Not enough if you ask me." Bulma muttered, getting Trunks laughing. Vegeta however was deep in thought upon the news.
'Damn you Kakarot. How dare you stay dead and leave me here before we had our rematch!' Vegeta thought in anger. Even with warriors like Rukido and Raditz, it wouldn't satisfy him like it would with his longtime rival. 'How can I prove myself if you aren't here to push me any longer!'
Was this the end of Vegeta...no.
'No...I know what you're doing. Not just for this ridiculous notion of peace, but taking up an opportunity to make yourself stronger. To reach the same level of Super Saiyan as the others.' Vegeta thought. Maybe it was from a selfish notion of wanting to fight him, but it was enough to clear the negative thoughts in his head. Kakarot would return, one day, and when he did, he would beat him. 'I will be waiting for you Kakarot. For your sake, you best keep up your training if you want to beat the likes of me!' He then looked up to see Bulma and Trunks chatting it up. His expression went soft for a second before it was immediately replaced by a glare. "BOY!"
"Y-yes!" Trunks stood at attention at the loud tone.
"Tomorrow you and I will train. I refuse to allow my own blood to fall behind any of those other brats!" Vegeta demanded while walking past them. "Enjoy your rest, because I will not be kind."
"Can you just relax for one day!" Bulma yelled, going on ignoring the entire time. "Yesh, that guy. He better not act this way around little you!"
"It's okay mother. It's just his way of showing he cares." Trunks said, smiling at the thought. Though he wished he could have another day, he would take what he could get.
(Capsule Corp Island, Living Room)
In the living room, Rukido and Corvus were held in the tight hug of Tights and Chronoa, both of which were refusing to let go.
"H-hey were-" Corvus began only for Rukido to speak.
"Don't bother. They're not letting go until later." Rukido said, placing his arms around them. "I would like to sit down though."
"Punishment." Chronoa and Tights said simply.
"...Honestly, I'll take it." Rukido said with a sigh. Not long later they were all sitting on the couch, too tired to stay up any longer. Rukido and Tights had long since fell asleep, having been tired from the events of today while Chronoa and Corvus remained awake.
"Today...wasn't great." Corvus said suddenly.
Chronoa snorted. "No. No it wasn't." Her expression softened as she glanced over to him. "You have no idea how many our hearts spiked from the fight."
'It was probably worse for you.' Corvus thought, knowing that she could sense everything. It honestly made him feel bad for allowing his father to die. His expression didn't go unnoticed however.
"I know what you're thinking." Chronoa said sternly, getting a gulp out of Corvus. "Don't you dare blame yourself for what happened."
"How could I not? You were right, these changes we made seemed to have more problems than solutions." Corvus said, looking down.
"Maybe, though I never said that was necessarily a bad thing." Chronoa said.
"Huh?"
"While it's true creating multiple timelines isn't great, they never truly end up bad in the long run. Merely abused by people like the Demon Realm." Chronoa explained, letting out a sigh. "If anything, it did work out well for the original time stream and I say it does for this one as well."
"But are we really gonna be okay?" Corvus asked. Even if he wouldn't get a direct answer, he felt the need to ask.
"...Honestly. There is always going to be trouble for Earth, it's like it's a magnet for trouble to come." Chronoa said honestly. Corvus could only nod as she continued. "However, you're strong enough to face what comes. So long as you keep getting powerful that is."
"I have no intention of stopping." He never once considered stopping. Least not anytime soon.
"Then you'll never have anything to worry about. And if you do, we'll still be here to help out." Chronoa said with a cheerful smile.
"Thanks..." Corvus trailed off, a blush coming to his smiling face. "...Mom."
The next thing he knew, he was elevated off the couch and sent flying towards the arms of Chronoa. She crushed Corvus in a hug, her smile growing larger than ever before. He could only awkwardly hug her back, his own smiling growing. All the while, they were being watched by Rukido, who had woken up briefly to hear their talk. He smiled, deciding to leave them for the moment.
(Capsule Corp)(One Week Later)
A week has passed since the Cell Games and the world moved on as if it had never happened. Despite that, Hercule Satan had somehow convinced the entirety of the world that he had single handley defeated Cell on his own. In response, he was titled their greatest champion. Oddly enough, they didn't seem to care for it. Mostly because Gohan didn't mind. If anything he was glad to not have the attention on him from the world.
As for their week, it was mostly relaxation for most, but for the future trio they had to prepare for their trip back home. Bulma refused to let them go empty handed, having large crates of capsules filled with more than enough supplies for them to use. They could hopefully rebuild their home and expand from there. Outside of that, they were also doing last minute training with their fathers. Not just to build up their power, but to also learn some techniques that couldn't be shown before. It was an unknown of sorts when it came to their future, so it was best to be prepared as best as they could.
Corvus looked out to the open city with a smile, knowing full well they were going to have this again in their own timeline. He was dressed in a short sleeved, black muscle shirt, a purple vest, beige pants and black boots.
"Taking it in?" Corvus turned around to see his father approaching him.
"Yeah. Just imagining what this will look like back home." Corvus said.
"You don't need to. Not with how strong you are already. Baby you is gonna be jealous." Rukido said while Corvus smirked at him.
"Not as much as you are. Mr. Regular Super Saiyan."
"You need Super Saiyan 2 to beat me, that says a lot on it's own." Rukido and Corvus glared at one another before breaking down into laughter. "Gosh, that must be how two Vegeta's go at it. Minus the Saiyan Pride stuff."
"No offense to Trunks or Aunty, but I'm glad Vegeta isn't my father." Corvus said, smilies gracing their faces. "...It's amazing how much things can change yet feel the same."
"I know. Things are only gonna get harder for us, but we'll manage. We always do." Rukido said with confidence.
"Even so, if you ever need help, you know where to find us...or rather when." Corvus said. They gave a small fist bump to one another, wide grins growing. Below them were Ranch and Trunks, currently giving their goodbyes to their mother's.
Ranch was wearing shoulderless battle armor, plated in black and yellow while wearing a pair of yellow gi pants with a red sash around it and a pair of black battle armor boots. Trunks was wearing his normal blue capsule corp jacket and grey tank top, dark grey pants being held up by a yellow belt, yellow combat boots and black gloves.
"You better stay safe or else." Blonde Launch threatened, currently in action.
"Of course I will. I'm your daughter after all." Ranch said, forcing her mother into a hug.
"Yeah, yeah. Brat." Launch mumbled, a smile growing on her embarrassed face.
"Aww, lookie here." Raditz mocked from behind. "Seems like you got this one to actually smile!"
"THE HELL I DID!" Launch exclaimed, ripping herself from Ranch's grip and pulling out a machine gun.
"WHERE DO YOU HIDE THIS STUFF!"
"WOULDN'T YOU LIKE TO KNOW!"
Trunks could only chuckle at them while Bulma was sighing happily. "At least you came out alright."
"I should hope so." Trunks said, thankful to be the most normal one in comparison to the others. "I'll make sure my mother knows everything that's happened."
"I only wish I could visit, even for like a day, but I don't wanna complicate stuff either." Bulma said, pouting a bit. "Time Travel is really complicated."
"You have no idea." Trunks mumbled. Even after all of this, it was still a mystery to him. "Regardless, it's been an experience."
"You can say that again. To think I met you before you were born. Honestly, I can say I won the coolest mother award for making that happen." Bulma said, full of pride.
"You were the coolest even before making the Time Machine." Trunks said, getting a flustered grin from her.
"Ohh! Clearly you got your charm from me. I bet you'll get Ranch in no time." Bulma said, laughing at her son's blushing expression. "Maybe give Future me some Grandbabies while you're at it."
"M-MOM!" Trunks exclaimed. He eventually calmed down and ignored his mother's giggles until he felt a gaze upon him. Turning his head, he saw his father actually smiling at him while making a small wave motion. He replicated this and showed it as well, their smiles growing larger at their silent exchange.
Gohan watched all of this from afar, unable to stop his own smile. 'They're all happy.'
"Of course they are! They get to take care of things in the future!" Goku said in his mind. As promised, his father was keeping contact with them. Naturally his biggest challenge was Chi-Chi, but he managed to calm her down and explain things.
'I hope things go well for them.' Gohan said.
"They'll be just fine, Gohan. I know it!" Goku said before yelping suddenly. "Whoops! I guess I was talking with ya for too long! See ya later Gohan!"
'King Kai really has it out for dad?' Even though he and his friends had been brought back through Shenron, King Kai was still mad about being killed and having his planet blown up. The sound of heavy footsteps caught his attention as he turned around his eyes going wide. "16!"
"Greetings, Gohan." The Android was currently wearing a black and green flannel shirt, blue jeans and black boots. He could actually pass off as just another Human without any of that armor on him. "It is good to see you again."
"You too! You're all fixed up!" Gohan said.
"Miss Briefs has been kind in my repair, even going as far to adding her own upgrades." 16 said, holding up his arm with a smile. "Once I am ready, perhaps I will become a Ranger for the local wildlife."
"I'd say it fits you." Gohan said with a chuckle.
16 could only smile in return before glancing over at the Time Machine. He was tempted to ask the future trio if they would consider sparing the Androids, but like Cell, they had caused their own evil deeds and must pay for them. His gaze then turned up to the sky as 17 came to mind. 'I do hope we'll meet again 17 and under better arrangements.'
He believed that 17 would find some form of peace in his life.
Not long after, it was time for the future trio to leave. Trunks piloted the Time Machine as it elevated up into the air. He gave a small wave towards his waving friends and family while Ranch was full blown waving her arms down at them and Corvus was merely smiling down at them. The Time Machine flew off into the distance before vanishing in a flash.
They were on their way back home.
"Well that settles that." Bulma said while stretching her arms. However she suddenly found Baby Corvus placed in her arms. "Huh? HEY!"
"Sorry sis, but you promised to watch over him." Tights said, a rather naughty grin on her face.
"That I did." Bulma said, her own grin growing. She then turned to Chronoa, making the Kai gulp at the look given to her. "Good luck, you're gonna need it if my sister is right."
"What are you-EEP!" Chronoa yelped, upon being lifted up. She couldn't stop the blush growing on her upon seeing the look Rukido gave her. "Rukido?"
"I didn't forget my promise to you." Rukido said seriously. She blinked for a moment before it finally came back to her. Once Cell was gone he was...was gonna get her pregnant! "And I don't plan on stopping for a while."
"And I'm joining!" Tights said way too cheerfully. She took great enjoyment of the pure embarrassment on Chronoa's face as she grabbed Rukido's arm and waved to the others. "Bye! Don't come over for the next few days!"
Everyone could only watch on awkwardly as Rukido Instant Transmisioned away.
"...I need to find a new place to sleep." Polar said suddenly. That got just about everyone laughing, but Polar's expression remained unchanging. "No, seriously. I am not dealing with that."
Gohan could only chuckle at this before he looked up at the peaceful sky with a smile.
The terror of Cell was finally over.
(Chapter End)
Next Time on A Change in Time!
It's me, Corvus. We returned back to our timeline and everything was just how we left it. As expected. However the Androids are in for a rude awakening once we arrive there. Good thing there's one for each of us to take down. As for Cell, the three of us may be a bit overkill for that thing, but I don't mind helping in destroying him. This is our world and we won't let anyone terrorize it any longer!
Next Time: The End of the Androids! The Beginning of a Bright Future!
A/N: Well there's only one last thing left to do for the Cell Saga and that's the future chapter. I was thinking about adding it up here, but I realized I already took a very long time updating this with no real excuse. So I'm sorry about that. I may honestly focus on the next chapter for this rather than for another story, but I haven't decided yet. I actually don't have anything to explain either.
With that in mind, I hope you enjoyed it, that you return for more and that you have a great day overall. Until next time we meet!
Reviews
Denisegalante1009: Have you read Hanasia queen of the Saiyans? If not I think you should because it's a pretty great story.
Answer: I haven't, but I'll give it a look over given you mentioned it.
denisegalante1009: What do you think of the new manga chapter for Dragon Ball Super?
Answer: Honestly, they may as well kill off Vegeta at this point with how much disrespect they're laying on him. All for Goku's sake as well. I'm not even a huge Vegeta Fan and I think that's just messed up. As for this new Ultra Instinct, I'll withhold judgment on it until more is shown.
reader2020italia: I think for your oc rukido you shouldn't let him have god ki or super sayain blue or god but you should be focusing more on ssj4 or ssj5, and let rukido have more abilities like the ki sword and ki scythe from goku black and let him be good with telekinesis, for the rest I like the story
Answer: I'm glad you like the story, but I obviously can't really answer about the Transformation bit due to spoilers. I can say more abilities will be coming for everyone.
denisegalante1009: I realized it's a long while since we've seen the Dark Masked King (Xeno King Vegeta). Will we see him again soon?
Answer: I have to be careful when I use him sadly due those with blood links have similar ki that can be sensed. Nevermind his hair being a very clear sign of who he is to Vegeta. However he will come up again later, I haven't forgotten about him.
denisegalante1009: You know I had an idea since Gero it seems will now be working for the Dark Empire now maybe they could also recruit other old surviving members of the Red Ribbon army maybe even Colonel Violet and maybe they would turn her into an Android. What do you think?
Answer: Well it is a good idea, but I have other plans when it comes to the remnants of the Red Ribbon Army.
denisegalante1009: What do you think of Gohan's new final form,Piccolo's awakened power and orange forms,Gamma1,Gamma2,and Cell Max? Do you think you'll use them for this story?
Answer: Gonna say it right now; Not a huge fan of Final Gohan. Mostly because it is very much out of nowhere with no real build up. Mostly due to it basically being a rage evolution from Potential Unleashed, which had sadly been reduced down to a transformation. Plus El Blanco wants to have a word with him.
Orange Piccolo on the other hand I do like. It wasn't out of nowhere and actually had some build up to it thanks to Shenron, who I actually appreciate doing it and having Orange be the color scheme for Piccolo's form. Kinda like his way of saying his power came in due to the Dragon Balls. Just need a new name for it. That was lazier than Super Saiyan Blue.
Gamma One and Two I was actually worried about when I first heard of them, but I realized what was going on through the trailers and it only got added once I watched the movie. They're good Androids created by a good man, who sadly got tricked by the Red Ribbon Army.
Cell Max...holy shit they did Cell dirty. Like bad. Even his minor appearance in Heroes did him more justice. This Cell was pretty much a mindless beast and not even the fun kind. I'll say this now, don't expect to see that version...ever.
Ushindi: Spectacular chapter! Gohan using the power of the Spirit Bomb which effectively burns and hurts an evil being is smart and super effective. I'm glad that Cell arc is over, now it's just the aftermath, though I'm very curious on will Goku stay dead or stay alive.
1. Have you heard about Invisible? It's a superhero series which contains lots of blood, gore and death?
2. What do you think of the Professors of Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet?
3. Would Goku Black's backstory better off as an another Goku who became evil instead of Zamasu stealing his body?
4. Which seems to be much powerful between Vegetas special moves? Galick Gun or Final Flash?
5. So what do you think of Bulma's two wishes from DBS Super Hero?
6. What do you think of Piccolo's wish from DBS Super Hero? Do you think Piccolo was desperate to become stronger to face any potential enemies?
7. What would Goku Black, Zamasu and Mai be like in Dragon Ball Z Abridged?
8. Gogeta vs Kefla! Which forms would he easily triumph over Kefla?
9. Here's a very crazy thought, what if Android 21 absorbed Frieza, Cell, Buu, Omega Shenron, Hatchiyack, Baby Vegeta, Goku Black, Cooler, Bojack, Garlic Jr, Hiridegarn, Super Android 13, Broly Z, Cumber and Fuu. How powerful would she be and what changes would she look like just like that in the game when she absorbed Cell, her skin turn purple and had some pathes arcoss her body?
10. What are your favorite games you have played or have heard about?
11. Do you think Goku or Vegeta can fly through space while using their energy as an barrier to not lose oxygen?
12. What do you think of Naruto's Baryon Form from Boruto?
13. Who do you think would be with Chronoa if she was interested in dating?
14. Which Dragon Ball villain would join the Black Lantern Corps?
15. What do you think of each different rings from the Green Lantern comics?
Answer: Ha, I'm glad that wasn't too much out of nowhere. Though as you can see, Goku is staying dead for a good reason. At least he'll call in. Now answers.
1: I watched Invincible and enjoyed it greatly. Nolan was such a damn amazing Villain and there's something always great about the audience knowing what happened at the very start while others remain clueless.
2: They're cool, I appreciate the very clear change. I only saw that for Sun and Moon really.
3: Hmmm, maybe a bit, but not by much. After all you need to come up with a real good reason for Goku of all people to suddenly become evil.
4: I have to give it to the Final Flash honestly, mostly due to it's many varieties and it's first time being used to seem so powerful. You don't just ignore when the final flash is covering over the Earth and shooting out to space after all.
5: Fan-Service. That's all I have to say.
6: I think it was alright. It's made clear that he can't keep up like he could before with new god forms popping up every new Saga and his form does at least come from Shenron himself. Plus it's different and I actually appreciate that...even if Granola technically did it first.
7: Goku Black: Littearly Goku, but Evil. Zamasu: Think's hes the Ultimate Chad. Mai: Having really mixed thoughts due to the age difference between her and Trunks.
8: Honestly, regular Super Saiyan and that's me being nice. The best Kefla could do was win against a WEAKENED Super Saiyan Blue Goku and before they fused, he was treating them like they were ants up against a storm. If Gogeta showed up to fight them, they'd be screwed.
9: Well I do enjoy Fallout NV, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, Some Pokemon Games, and even Minecraft.
10: Well Zeno is dead as hell. That's all I got for ya. As for appearance, she would either look like her normal self or an amalgamation of all of them. Either way, that would be extremely overpowered.
11: Yes.
12: It has a cool design at least and it has a reasonable weakness to work through. Though I could have dealt without Kurama dying. They really wanted them nerfed.
13: The only person she ]'s only shown interest in was Bardock and that was a crush at best.
14: Moro and Zamasu.
15: I honestly don't have a real opinion on them.
Thanks as usual.
denisegalante1009: Will you use Churai from Dragon Ball Online in this story?
Answer: Looking her up, she really doesn't have much to her outside of being Mira's counterpart and even I'm skeptical of that much. But if I do think of something for her, then I'll consider it.
denisegalante1009: Such a way to end Cell a few questions now.
things get bigger from here?
on your response to one of my questions is there a good chance that you will use Robelu and Chanel for this story?
the other Demon Gods also appear?
we see Sealas reveal the existence of Ahms to our heroes soon?
Answer: Yeah, I've thought hard about their roles and know what I want to do with them. I will also use the other Demon Gods as well, I need to if I'm gonna try and avoid reusing other Villains as best I can...looking at you Xeno...even you Superhero.
Sealas will return, he's just more patient about things and already has his own plans set out in motion.
