Tournament of Hercule? Unbound Hatred!
(X.S. Cash Island, Intergalactic Tournament Grounds)(Present Timeline)(Six Months after the Cell Games)
Hercule watched on from a private stand as hundreds of fighters were battling it out. They were fighting on platforms above the water, for if they fell in would result in immediate termination from the tournament. Even his own students were taking part in it!
One might wonder what this was about? Well it was quite simple. X.S. Cash, a rather wealthy man, wanted to have a tournament in his honor. All for his son's birthday too so he could meet the man who had saved the world from Cell! He couldn't even think about refusing, not when he had the chance to show the world that he was still here and that he would forever be their Champion!
'Heh! They're gonna be all tired out to even think about fighting me, the World Champ!' Hercule thought with a rather large grin. Sure, he didn't beat Cell, but damn if he didn't get the credit for it. No one had said anything from that fever dream of a day. Not the camera crew, not the "fake" fighters that were there that day, no one.
Now, he stood at the top.
"I do hope you're enjoying yourself, Mr. Satan." Cash said, sitting next to him. His son right next to him as well, looking at the battle in awe. "Though I doubt any of these men could hold a candle against yourself."
"Well that's just the way the world works. People like me are one of a kind after all!" Hercule declared before letting out a bold laugh. "That's probably for the best though. After all, Cell was no joke when I held back on him. But once I went all out he was done for!"
"Wow!" The boy exclaimed, stars in his eyes.
"I suppose your right, Mr. Satan. Regardless, the last man standing will be getting the grand prize even if they chose not to fight you. That would end badly for them." Cash said, letting out a snicker.
"Well I only expect my students to make it to the end, but who knows? Maybe a miracle can happen." Hercule said, sarcasm dripping from his mouth. What did he have to worry about? Nothing, that's what-
"Um, your students were already knocked out of the Tournament." Cash said, making Hercule gasp.
"W-wha!?" Herucle said before looking back down at the fights.
"Y-yes. By a rather...interesting looking competitor." Cash said, hoping he didn't make Mr. Satan angry. "In fact, he's quite the fighter by the looks of it. No one has landed a hit on him since the tournament started."
Hercule however remained silent, his face going deathly pale as he finally got a full glance at the fight. Some he recognized from the Cell Games. Fear built up in him once more since his "battle" with Cell. Today wasn't going to go his way, not in the slightest.

'This by far the easiest thing I've had to do all day.' Polar thought with nothing, but pure disinterest and boredom. He wasn't expecting much. Not when he was the only one of the Dragon Team to actually take part in the Tournament apparently. It however worked in his favor though. 'Least this way I can actually get that prize.'
There was a large prize of Zeni for the winner of the Tournament. Normally he wouldn't need such a thing, not needing food or water or even sleep for that matter when it came to his kind. However he had desired his own place to live. He appreciated staying on the Capsule Corp Island Home, but felt like he was a guest most of the time and wanted the need for his own place.
He could have simply taken from his family funds to transfer into Zeni. However that was far beyond off the planet, not to mention he didn't technically have access to it either. Sure he could force it to all be his, but he was sure that there were some people who were putting it to better use. Just as a small pay back towards those who suffered thanks to the Cold Family. He even considered going to Piccolo, but didn't want to bother the Namekian with such a trivial request.
So that led him. Beating anyone that came in his way. He was tempted to use his energy to simply push them all off the platform. However he didn't want that kind of attention or worse for it all not to count. Not that he actually needed it. Not for weaklings like these.
'At least I'll be done fast.' Polar thought as he watched another group approach him. No skill, no power, not even a hint of talent. Just fodder. Moving at speed that no mere Human could keep up with, he knocked them all off the ring and into the water below. "Did they need to allow so many people though? Troublesome."
"Aww, it isn't that bad!"
'Hello Goku, intruding as usual?' Polar asked casually, jumping to another platform.
"Heh, heh, sorry. I kinda just wish there were more strong people here, but it looks like you're the only one really." Goku said, chuckling from within his mind. Keeping to his word, the Saiyan had kept up with his communication with the group whenever he could.
'You would think that. It's in your blood after all.' Polar thought.
"True, but you gotta admit it is pretty boring." Goku said.
'No doubt, but it gets me my prize much easier.' Polar thought as he knocked off another group. 'Besides, everyone was busy with something else or just wasn't interested.'
"Yeah, I guess I can't blame you for that." Goku said.
'How are things in the Otherworld anyway? I hope you didn't run into anyone in my family.' Polar thought.
"Nope things have been pretty quiet up here. Then again, I'm not in Hell either."
'You? In Hell? Maybe if you start fighting people for your own entertainment and ignore them when they're clearly a threat.' Polar thought, slapping someone unconscious with his tail. 'Or just ignoring people when they tell you about dangerous people for said excitement.'
"Heh. Nope, not me!" Goku chuckled out before going silent. "Sorry, Chi-Chi wants to talk to me."
'Understandable. Thanks for the check up, Goku.' Polar thought.
"Right-Oh wait! There was one more thing, King Kai wanted me to tell you."
"Hmmm?" Polar questioned aloud.
"Well, here's the thing. When I brought Cell to King Kai's I kinda blew up his entire planet. He's still mad about it though. But anyway, he said that some guys were apparently sealed up inside his planet." Goku explained, confusing why their people sealed up. In the otherworld of all places. "Apparently he and the other Kais had to stop them from going on a rampage after you destroyed their homeworld. We haven't been able to find them since, but King Kai didn't want to worry you."
Wait, what? What planet?" Polar asked, a hint of grimness over him. Even though he destroyed worlds, he tried to limit them down to the worst of the worst if he could.
"Hera." King Kai said out of nowhere.
'That doesn't exactly help.' Polar thought with a deadpan expression.
"Maybe this will ring a few bells? The Galaxy Warriors." King Kai added on.
'Do you have any idea how many groups of people have called themselves the Galaxy Warriors? Let me tell you a lot.' Polar thought, annoyed.
"Regardless, you have to be careful! These guys were almost as powerful as Frieza back then and they grew only more powerful since they've been sealed up!" King Kai warned as best he could.
'Tch. The fact you're telling me this now is pissing me off. Lucky for you I doubt these Heras are going to provide me with much of a challenge. At least compared to someone like Cell or the others.' Polar thought with a shrug. 'Did you even tell the others about them?'
"Not yet. I was gonna after we talked. They are targeting you after all." King Kai said.
'Well be sure to tell them not to interfere unless I'm actually in trouble. If they want, they can come to me.' Polar thought.
"Just make sure not to underestimate them! Who knows how strong they are...or if they've made allies in such a short time." King Kai said grimly.
'Just do as I say. If things get tough, I'll get back up.' Polar thought as walked around his platform. Almost as if to state his territory. 'Besides, if I did blow up their world then I have to own up to it. Doesn't mean I'll let them kill me over it.'
"I only hope you know what you're doing." King Kai mumbled before cutting the connection.
"Good Luck, Polar! I know you got this!" Goku said before cutting his own connection.
"AND THE FIRST MATCHES ARE OVER WITH EIGHT FIGHTERS LEFT!" An announcement went off, catching Polar's attention. He glanced around to see the Platforms moving around. He was matched up with a man that seemed to be the size of the building. "Let's wrap up the Second Match quick folks! You are to face only your opponent that you're faced with! Now go!"
The large man charged at Polar with hands held out and ready to grab him. However, the Frost Demon merely jumped at him at the last second, planting his foot into the back of the man's head. The man screamed as he found himself falling into the water below while Polar landed on his feet.
"AND POLAR HAS MADE IT TO THE FINAL FOUR! LET'S SEE WHO CAN TAKE THIS MAN DOWN AND GET THE GRAND PRIZE!" The announcer exclaimed while cheers went around. Polar turned away, but smirked from behind his face plate.
He at least had a challenge waiting for him.
(Demon Realm, Open Field)
The Galaxy Warriors were currently awaiting their chance to be transported. Bojack, the leader of them all, awaited the most patiently. The others, being that of Zangya, Kogu, Bido and Bujin, were a bit more eager for their kill.
It was by luck they were able to escape from Otherworld and into the Demon Realm with a rather simple offer. Join them and they would help them achieve power for their own revenge. Not only against the Kais, but the one who destroyed their Home World as well before they could take it over.
The black sheep of the Cold Family, Polar.
"I can't wait to make this Earth ours for the taking." Kogu said, sharpening his blade with his energy. "It's almost as beautiful as Hera."
"Tch. Almost is being generous." Zangya declared, rolling her eyes at the comment. However a smirk came on not long after. "Though there will be plenty of people to rule over as well."
"Plenty of slaves to have for personal use as well!" Bujin said with a hint of glee. Something that was shared with Bido. "I bet we can take it over in an hour!"
"Only after we deal with those pesky Monkeys that defend their home." Kogu pointed out, earning a round of scoffs. "Do not expect them to go down easily. There's a reason why the warriors of this world are cautious of them."
"I still don't trust them." Bido admitted, glancing back to the dark tower far out into the city.
"You don't trust anyone that isn't us, last I checked." Bujin pointed.
"That's not true. I don't trust Zangya to not force a bunch of the Earth men to be her slaves." Bido said, immediately getting kicked in his side. "GAH! YOU DAMN HARLOT!"
"Enough." Bojack demanded, making them all shut up. A smirk came across his face as he clenched his chest. "It doesn't matter what the Demons want. In the end, the Earth will belong to us and the warriors that dare defy us will fall. Then the Universe will be ours to take as it should be. Before all that however, we owe it to our world to destroy the one known as Polar."
That seemed to make all of them grimace. They were outlaws even to their home world, desiring more than what they had. However it was still the place they had been born at and thus was very important to them. To an extent. It was supposed to be their to rule, to take over to start off their empire once they gathered enough strength. Now it was space dust with the chances of building up an army to face off against Frieza fading away into nothing.
"It seems like you're ready." They turned to see Towa approaching them, having Mira by her side as usual. "I trust you will be able to actually complete this mission with your new found power?"
"Those Earthlings won't be able to stand a chance against us!" Bido declared.
"No one in that world will be able to stand up to the might of the Galaxy Warriors. Once we take it over, I expect you to hand us over a quarter of your forces as promised." Bojack said, giving the woman a piercing glare.
"Of course. So long as you win." Towa said, not the least bit affected by him. Not one to waste time, she raised her staff and pointed it towards the ground. A portal appeared underneath them and slowly sucked them. "Do have fun now. I'm looking forward to the results~"
Bojack merely snorted, allowing himself to be taken in. The portal had taken the Galaxy Warriors away before fading altogether.
"...You don't expect them to win, do you?" Mira asked, glancing down at his wife.
"Not in the slightest. I merely want to see how my latest spell will work out for them." Towa admitted, giggling from behind her hand. They looked so hopeful that their current power would suffice, but that would be far from the truth if the current strength of the Dragon Team was anything to consider. "I'm surprised they bought that we would give them any of our members, but they were quite desperate."
"That they were. With the combat data collected during their time here, we will make adjustments to myself." Mira added on, anticipation clear in his eyes. Another Race to add to his biology meant more power to himself. "Their transformation ability seems to be above Super Saiyan."
"But it wouldn't compare to a Super Saiyan at the second level." Towa pointed out with Mira nodding. "Regardless, their DNA samples will prove to be quite useful, I only wish to see the results of their new found power. It will prove useful when powering our allies further beyond their limit."
Mira only hummed in agreement, if only because he would gain the same kind of power up and so on. He and Towa moved away with the intent to watch the battle and the end result.
(X.S. Cash Island, Battle Island 1)
Polar sighed in annoyance as he stepped out of his transport pod. It would have been much simpler for them all just to face each other in the arena. Instead they were expected to face warriors selected by Cash himself to fight off in order to see who would last longer. By then, the final two would be able to duke it out themselves.
He was still waiting for whoever these Galaxy Warriors were, wondering which planet he destroyed to gain their ire. All he knew it was Hera and it thoroughly pissed him off to no ends for actually knowing the name. Calming his thoughts, he went through the small list of planets he actually destroyed and for any that actually met up with a name like Hera.
"Hera...Hera..." Polar kept mumbling while roaming through the destroyed city. He kept muttering it's name in hope to spark something, anything at all...until it finally did come. "No, were they from that planet?"
(Planet Hera)(Age 730)
"Why?" Polar asked aloud as he stood amongst the people of Hera. It was a beautiful planet, that much was true, but not anymore. The citizens of this world had chosen violence upon his arrival and he retaliated upon their attack. "You fools should have listened to me when you had the chance. Now there's no way to save your world."
The planet was in the way of a comet coming it's way. He didn't have the power to destroy such a thing, not only that, but to allow it would mean an explosion powerful enough to send the debris flying across space. He had planned to destroy it once the planet had evacuated, but such a thing was no longer possible.
'I must cover my own escape.' It may have been cruel, but there was no way he could help these people escape. The only thing he could do was eradicate the planet until it was left in atoms. 'I only hope you'll understand once you enter the next life.'
He then raised his finger and began forming a Supernova.
(Present)
"That was Hera, wasn't it?" Polar muttered out, clenching his fist at the memory. He had never felt more useless than at that very moment. He already stopped blaming himself years ago, he had done all he could do with all he had at the time. "In that case, these Galaxy Warriors must be their people. Survivors, off world."
He then felt multiple ki-signatures around. Glancing around he spotted them coming out from multiple shadows, having their energy concealed before. He narrowed his eyes upon their arrogant expression, more so on Bojack himself. The man was looking at him as if he was a pest, something he didn't attest to.
"Polar of the Cold Family, nice to finally meet you. Are you ready for your destruction?" Bojack asked, his power clear before him. All of the Galaxy Warriors were making their power clear, yet Polar could only shake his head.
"You're in for a rude surprise if you actually expect to win this." Polar said, feeling better upon feeling their energy. "Your energy reminds me of Frieza, quite the accomplishment with his arrogance. I don't need to feel bad about taking you out of this world."
"You're a fool to think you can take us on." Bojack said, easily keeping his composure.
"I think you're the fools for picking this fight, but don't worry. You'll have plenty to think about once I do what the Kais could not." Polar said, making his power well and known. The Galaxy Warriors, outside of Bojack, were pushed back by it. Bojack merely glared at him for it. "Savor your last moments. Your end is here."

Next Time on A Change in Time
It's King Kai! Bojack and his crew have located Polar, and have engaged them. They are as evil as the day we sealed them, yet their strength has increased dramatically. Despite this, Polar seems to hold the advantage over them. W-wait a minute! That transformation! It's been altered! I-I really hope you know what you're doing!

A/N: I actually finished this in about a day, ran it by my friend and he approved when I was a little worried. I guess I was in a really good mood for it. But into explanations.
Let me start off by saying that I honestly don't care for Bojack and his crew, but felt it necessary to add them in. Mostly because I can always use them again in the future, if I need to. And yes, I'm aware I could have easily written something better for them, but I neither like nor hate them, making it hard to put in the effort for such a thing. Not to mention, they're the equivalent of filler villains. This is not going to be a long arc, especially when thinking of the Dragon Team's current level. I mean, they have three Super Saiyan 2's. I rather put that time and effort into something meaningful to me.
As for why no one else is here? I wanted something Polar centric for a few chapters and decided that the Galaxy Warriors are perfect for that currently. Plus I got plenty of things instored before I get into the Buu Saga. Some things that are more unexpected than others.

lxperron: wait. how is it his fault that the scroll was destroyed? the Supreme kai should have developed a better safer way to going to and from timelines without carrying the damn scroll itself. she's had 75 million years probably more. if it's anyone's fault it's hers.
Answer: If the system ain't broke, there ain't a need for improvements on it. It is the responsibility of the Time Patroller to protect the Scroll, but keep in mind this is something I came up with in order to get the story going as is. There is more than likely no consequence for them to be destroyed.

Answer: Well, thank you. I'd be lying if I ever made that connection for Rukido, but I'll take that as a complement.

1: It really depends on who finds him first, though in a story driven section to keep to his character, I suppose Shield would make the most sense. Then by that time he would be off to the Avengers.
2: Pure utter silence before laughter comes.
3: Thor: You have the look of a warrior about you. Vegeta: Let's see if you can hold up to such a standing.
4: Tsundere
5: Popo: Oh...oh my...
6: Who knows.
7: Manga, only because Anime has yet to actually make those arcs yet.
8: Hmmm, if I were to choose, probably Goku. If only his own personality would be more workable with.
9: I have seen it recently. I now understand what the hype is all about for a short, but amazing animation. One that is an actual AU rather than a What If scenario. Rewriting the Characters, their abilities, even Super Saiyan itself had changed dramatically; Now this Primal Light rather than a simple power increase. Toriyama doesn't need this type of animation. He needs that kind of writing if he wants people to stay interested.
10: I suppose they would be able to make more powerful wishes, but I wouldn't know if their power would get rid of the time limit or not.
11: You'll have to wait and see, but he is a scientist first and a fighter second. Him fighting just doesn't fit him unless it's purely to ensure his own protection.
12: I suppose some intense training with his father would make the most sense to him. That or an enemy that he's stuck to deal with alone.
13: I actually do prefer his Time Breaker Armor oddly enough. The colors fit him well.
14: Being honest, I wouldn't know. It really depends on the writer, because they dictate how the fight goes. I mean, if I were a completely biased writer, I would have it where Vegeta would win with his Limit Breaker. The problem is that we've yet to see Beerus's actual power...like ever. Ever since that retcon on Super Saiyan God and Beerus using his real power, it's been impossible to get an actual power scale on the man. The best we got is Shin saying that Vegito was more powerful than Beerus in the manga, but as we know the writing wasn't exactly the best at the time.
15: Only a bit, not by much.
16: He would suffer. As far as I remember, there aren't a lot of things that can resist the penance stare. I would bet that even the G.O.D.S would crumble to it, maybe even the Angels and Zeno as well. They aren't exactly written to be immune to such things after all.
17: He would literally one shot the G.O.D.s. No Joke.
18: Goku's. Goten literally got erased from the time stream from it.
Ushindi: So Goku decided to stay dead, oh well at least he'll stay in contact with his family unlike his canon self. 17 would definitely have no choice but play it safe, he knows he doesn't stand a chance against the Saiyan's, hybrids and Polar. Amazing chapter.
