Overcoming the Evil Saiyans, Pure Focused Rage

Both Vegeta and Raditz were already ahead, charging at the trio with killer intent in their eyes. Polar and Piccolo were about to attack only for Gohan to dash right by them while firing ki blasts. It made them stop in place, Vegeta's grin becoming more crazed while Raditz growled behind his teeth.
'I need to take them both on. I'm the only one who can actually match their power.' Gohan thought with a glare. He would rather go all out and take down Rukido right from the start, but he couldn't risk Polar and Piccolo dealing with Vegeta and Raditz. "Piccolo, Polar! Take on Rukido as fast as you can. I'll hold them off!"
"Tch. Typical." Polar thought, watching the Super Saiyans launch up into the air. He saw Rukido walk toward them, making them go on guard. "There's no point in talking, is there?"
"As much as I hate to admit it, you're right." Piccolo said, not liking this already. Out of everyone here, he was the weakest by a large margin. He was gonna have to be careful here. "Take point and I'll cover your blind spots."
"I can work with that." Polar said, stepping upfront. He'd be lying if he wasn't sure if he could take on Rukido while he was powered up like this, but he dealt with a mind controlled Vegeta in the past. Hopefully the same wake up call would work on Rukido. "Best way to wake him up should be a good old fashioned beating, unfortunately. Meaning if you can, go for a hard knock."
"Got it. This'll be interesting, that's for sure." Piccolo said, assuming a stance with Polar. "Ready?"
"Try to keep up." That was all Polar said before charging forward, Piccolo following close behind him. Rukido growled at them before charging forward as well, leaving a wake of destruction in his path.
Instantly both Saiyan and Frost Demon clashed fist, a shockwave released from the impact. Polar grunted upon feeling himself get pushed back before immediately hitting himself around and kicking Rukido's back. At the same Piccolo sun forward with a roundhouse kick in his face. Both attacks managed to knock the Saiyan on his back, leaving the two warriors to jump up and toss down massive balls of ki upon him. The explosion was immediate, leaving Polar and Piccolo to glare down at it with their guard still up.
Despite that, Rukido came flying up from the smoke with an enraged expression as he quickly closed in on Polar. The Frost Demon didn't react fast enough to the harsh uppercut that sent him flying straight up in the air before the feral Saiyan set his sights on Piccolo. Instantly closing in on the Namekian, Rukido forced him into a clash where he easily began pushing back. Piccolo himself could only growl as he barely blocked the Saiyan's wild and quick attacks, leaving no to evade his attacks. It wasn't long until Rukido broke through defenses and swung a fist towards his neck. Piccolo gasped upon seeing the fist, but it never came to be once Polar kicked the Saiyan from behind, more than annoyed.
"Focus on me, dumbass!" Polar yelled before immediately chasing after him with Piccolo right on his tail.
Meanwhile, Gohan was still facing off against both Raditz and Vegeta. They sure weren't fighting fairly either. The moment he managed to knock one away, the other was right on him and just as mean. It was so hard to believe that they jumped in such levels while under the influence of the dark aura coated around them.
'I need to make more distance! Just enough for me to deal enough damage before the other comes back!' Gohan decided while swithly dashing up in the air. Both Vegeta and Raditz fired their beams up, colddied with one another and blowing up.
They were about to fly up until Gohan appeared via Instant Transmission and punched Vegeta in his chest with a ki-enhanced fist. Vegeta gasped out in pain before he was flung far across the sea and into a nearby island. Raditz roared and charged at Gohan only to be given a harsh kick to his face. Blood spilt from his nose before a kick connected with his jaw and sent Raditz flying back with Gohan right after him.
Raditz barely recovered, ducking under a blow before immediately gripping his nephew's arms in a lock. Despite his current state, he seemed disgruntled about his actions before sending his leg across Gohan's chest several times. That was until it was caught as well by Gohan as the two quickly ripped away from each other, glares settling in on their faces. Gohan then sensed Vegeta's energy approaching and cursed.
'Have to make some distance between myself and Uncle Raditz!' Vanishing before Raditz could strike him, he reappeared right behind him and swiftly threw down a powerful axe kick. Raditz went flying back downwards at Kanba, who remained in place with his natural glare. He didn't care for the body that slammed into him and hit the ground, if anything he was annoyed by it.
"What are you waiting for? Get up and continue your fight." Kanba said, kicking Raditz's side. The Saiyan got up, his disgruntled glare still present, yet he listened none the less and made his way back up for the fight. Kanba watched with minimal interest as the fight proceeded like normal. 'That Demon said Son Gohan's potential is far greater than even an average Saiyan despite being a halfling. I want to see that power before I face him.'
He wanted that proof shown in battle.
Gohan and Vegeta were caught in an even clash before Raditz joined back in. Together, he and Vegeta started to push Gohan back, their combined force becoming much more fierce than expected. Quickly backing off from them, the Hybrid fired a barrage of blast at them as they chased after him. They may have struck and surely done some damage, but they kept charging forward without caring for their bodies. Vegeta closed in first, delivering a series of strikes while Raditz circled around and harshly kicked Gohan's back. The sent the poor hybrid forward into the harsh strike of Vegeta that had lifted off his balance and flipped him over.
Gohan fell downwards but wasn't nowhere near out just yet. He quickly fired a beam up at the duo, while they followed through with the same move. While their attacks collided, the Hybrid quickly used Instant Transmission and appeared right between them. They caught on quickly, throwing their fist at him on instinct. A mistake for them unfortunately as they found both their hands caught by the glowing palms of Gohan.
"MASENKO!" Putting more than enough power within his attack, Gohan managed to blast both of them far apart from one another. This was his counter attack!
Raditz barely managed to stop himself before he was harshly uppercutted hard enough to force him off balance. It didn't stop there once Gohan followed it up with a series of strikes across his chest before sending a powerful roundhouse kick across his face. Sending Vegeta closing in, Gohan grabbed his uncle's hair and threw him at the incoming Prince.
Vegeta didn't even acknowledge him, kicking him out the way and dashing full speed at Gohan. He quickly began a rush of attacks, his maniacal grew twitching as they were being blocked by the younger warrior. He kept this up before suddenly jumping back and forming a Big Bang Attack. However as quickly as he made it, it was suddenly kicked straight up in the air where the explosion echoed across the world. He looked back down just in time for Gohan to unleash a flurry of strikes, all of them hitting the same area and adding onto the pain. Keeping up his assault, Gohan planned to deliver a final haymaker only to suddenly be kicked in his side and flung back. He looked up to see the snarling form of Raditz floating next to the less than grateful side of Vegeta.
'This isn't getting any easier, but I gotta keep going.' Gohan thought, clenching his fist hard enough to draw blood. He needed to keep this up, no...he needed to beat them. Drawing upon more power from within himself, he pointed a bloody fist at the duo Saiyan with nothing short of pure and utter focus. "Alright, come on! I'll beat you two and bring you back to your senses!"
They only charged forward as a response.
Back with Piccolo and Polar, both were keeping their distance and trying to wear Rukido down with ranged attacks. However it proved to be difficult with his body still naturally reacting to combat and keeping up with their movement.
"This is getting us nowhere." Piccolo commented.
"No kidding." Polar muttered as they stopped next to each other. "I'm heading back in, you see about charging up something good enough to knock him down. Then I'll see about finishing it from there."
"Can you hold him off long enough?" Piccolo asked, unsure.
"My body can take more damage compared to all of you. Just make sure to be quick about it." Polar ordered while floating forward. Rukido was remaining in place, growling through his teeth and looked ready to snap at any second. "For now you have to face me. Aren't you a lucky fellow?"
Rukido instantly dashed right at him with the Frost Demon doing the same. Unlike before however, Polar vanished in an afterimage as Rukido struck nothing. His movements were then restricted by telekinesis while Polar appeared before him. With his hand held out, he forced the Saiyan down into the sea before following after him.
"Tch." Piccolo scoffed while holding out his hands, his aura building up around him. Demon Kai Fist was going to be perfect here, but he needed to hurry.
Polar in the meantime was floating above the sea while Rukido erupted from it. Closing the distance in milliseconds, Rukido forced Polar into a devastating clash. Every strike was barely blockable by the empowered Saiyan, but Polar remained focused and stayed defensive the entire time. Their clash soon led them crashing upon a small island with Rukido striking upon the land while Polar stood across from him.
"Now what did this poor island ever do to you?" Polar mocked while Rukido snarled. Assuming a proper stance, he gave a challenging look to the controlled Saiyan. "So are you going to show me the power of the so-called Warrior race?"
Not waiting for an answer, Polar suddenly shot forward at Rukido, who rushed forward with a roar. Doding past his fist, Polar wrapped his tail around Rukido's leg and held him in place to send an elbow into his back. Despite falling forward, Rukido used his hands to push himself back towards the Frost Demon and kick him in his face. Sliding back, he caught the Saiyan rushing at him with a ki-enhanced fist and quickly crossed his arms to block against the hit.
It worked, but not without sending him flying off his feet. Rukido suddenly appeared behind him to continue his attack only for Polar to flip over him and kick him straight into the ground. Polar landed on the ground and rushed at Rukido as he stood up, reeling up his fist and punching him. Despite that, the Saiyan quickly turned the tables and grabbed his arm before flipping him over and slamming him into the ground.
Groaning, Polar looked up before immediately rolling out the way of Rukido's foot. He continued to do so with Rukido stomping down after him before he finally got up. However Rukido was already on him, forcing another clash upon him and aggressively pushing him back. Unlike before, Polar wasn't able to block them nearly as easily. Yet he managed to find a way to break free, jumping back repeatedly and across the island to gain some distance. As a response, Rukido fired a barrage of super sized ki-blasts across the island, nearly blowing it all to smithereens. One came close to hitting Polar, but he managed to vanish altogether before it could hit. Rukido growled, looking around for the Frost Demon to no avail before noticing a bright light suddenly appear in front of him. Time slowed down as Rukido found his gaze matched with that of Piccolo, the Namekian grinning madly while his hands were sparking a dangerous amount of energy.
"EVIL EXPLOSION!" Piccolo roared, releasing the attack at full power. Instantly the Saiyan was consumed by the wide explosion, along with a large amount of the island. "Polar!"
"No need to yell!" The Frost Demon was floating above the island. In his hand was a violently spiral orb that looked ready to erupt within, but he kept it focused for his next move. "Spiral Nova!" Slamming the blast into Rukido, he forced it to expand out and push against the Saiyan. He then violently turned his hand causing it to shine brighter. "Eruption!"
Rukido screamed savagely as the blast suddenly exploded, taken over by the blast and found himself flung flying into the sea. Polar himself was blown back by the shockwave, not used to using the technique just yet. Thankfully, he managed to land on the island where Piccolo was waiting.
"Took you long enough." Polar complained.
"Excuse me for making sure my attack was powerful enough to leave an opening." Piccolo rolled his eyes as he said this. "Besides you said you could take him."
"I said I could hold him off. Besides, it's not like I had a lot of options. Most of what I have would've killed him." Polar said with a grumble. Death beams and his ki-blade were out of the question. While Rukido was plenty strong, he couldn't take the chance. "Regardless, that attack should have knocked him out."
"It better be." Piccolo growled out before realizing something. "Wait. Where is he?!"
Polar stopped at that and immediately started sensing out for Rukido. However it came a second too late as yellow and black energy erupted from the island. Their eyes went wide before jumping to only to find themselves caught in a blast that shot straight up in the air. As it faded, Rukido could be seen floating in place, several noticeable burn marks across his body and clothes, but the dark aura remaining a part of him and his soul. Remaining limp in both his arms were both Piccolo and Polar, unconscious from the attack.
Meanwhile Gohan was flying across the air to avoid both Raditz and Vegeta to the best of his ability. Both of them were weakening and it was showing how much damage he managed to inflict on them. However he fell into the same boat, being forced to take rather painful strikes from the elder Saiyans. He was gonna need to end this fast and he knew just how.
"HEY!" Gohan stopped himself and turned to face the two Saiyans. Surprisingly enough they stopped, almost curious like. "You wanna fight me so badly, then you should be able to handle this!" Cupping his hands over his head, he began charging energy while offering his most wild grin. "If you think you can challenge me then you're more than welcomed too! Give me everything you got!"
It seemed to work, Vegeta grinned madly before holding out his hands and began charging for his Final Flash. Raditz growled, but himself slowly lifted up his hand and began his Rebellion Trigger. The power alone had already echoed off planet, showing they weren't going to hold back with their next attack. Gohan kept his wild grin up, yet there was a notable sweat of nervousness upon standing before the two powerhouses. Upon seeing their muscles begin to bulk up, their veins becoming clearer and their power beginning to build up, Gohan made his move and suddenly vanished from sight.
Both Vegeta and Raditz seemed confused for a moment until Gohan reappeared behind them. Their attacks, while charged, were no longer pointing at their target, the Saiyans' eyes widened before Gohan fired a point blank Masenko. It overpowered them, blasting the pair across the sky and out of their Super Saiyan forms. The Evil aura around them was gone, but they were rendered unconscious as well. Luckily for them, Gohan caught them by their arms and looked at them with a frown.
"I'm sorry. I know what I did wasn't right, but you guys weren't acting like yourselves and I needed to win. Besides, I doubt either of you two would have preferred to win like this." Gohan said, landing upon an island. He dropped them on the ground, knowing that he still had more work to get done. However upon seeing the forms of Polar and Piccolo drop from the sky, he instantly feared the worst. "No!" Snapping his head up, he saw Rukido floating down, snarling through his teeth. Despite that, he seemed more than a little weakened from his battle while Gohan was still able to hold Super Saiyan 2 easily enough. "Sorry, but I can't hold back on you. Not when-"
He soon froze upon feeling a presence directly behind him. Turning his head around slowly, he was greeted with the cold stare and unimpressed stare of Kanba. However it wasn't directed at him, but rather Rukido.
"You should have been able to deal with those two easily. Has your instincts not come out yet or not?" Kanba said, disappointment clear in his voice. Surprisingly enough Rukido growled at him in defiance before he gripped his head and yelled out in pain. "Don't bother. You can only blame your own weakness."
"Damn you!" Gohan vanished and repeated behind Kanba, kicking the man's neck. He didn't even flinch as he turned to look at Gohan before the Hybrid found himself blown back by the Saiyan's aura. He barely managed to stop himself, using a barrier to protect the downed forms of his allies. 'That power! It's unreal!'
"You did well enough. For a Hybrid that is. I shall grant you the honor in combating me." Kanba said before switching his gaze over at Rukido. "As for you however. Go and bring me that Kai that you care for so much. Or better yet, eliminate her and that spawn she carries."
"WHAT!" Gohan yelled before snapping his attention over at Rukido. The controlled Saiyan remained in place, almost seeming stunned by the command. "Don't allow him to control you! Fight through it!"
"Pointless words. Only action is needed." Kanba said, his hand raised up. Not a moment later Rukido lost all hesitation, his eyes glowing red before he took off. Gohan tried to go after him, but Kanba stepped in his way. "Once he gets rid of her, all obstacles towards unleashing his true Saiyan instinct will be revealed."
"I won't let you get away with this! You hear me!" Gohan yelled, his power surging as he got ready.
"Then come. Fight me." Kanba said before Gohan lunged at him in a flying fury. He needed to beat him before Rukido did something he'd never forgive himself for!
(Capsule Corp Island)
"...He's coming." Chronoa said aloud while waiting by the balcony. She had been keeping track of the battle and knew it was far from good now with Gohan and Kanba fighting. That left her to deal with Rukido...while she was pregnant. "Leave it to me to get in these kinds of situations." Despite how bad it was, she was managing to keep herself calm. She needed to be for the baby's sake. Not a second later Rukido came into view, floating above with a Vegeta-like glare. "Hey! Down here!"
He seemed surprised by the action, almost flinching backwards until the pain came in at full. Descending down to her level, he slowly made his way to the Kai, finding her smirk to make him feel strange. Despite the raging voice in his head telling her to blow up Chronoa along with the whole island, he found himself managing to stop himself. If just barely.
"You're really struggling, I can tell." Chronoa said, placing a hand on his cheek. She ignored the dark sensation in him in favor of rubbing it. "And here you tried to tell me not to worry."
Guilt wavered off him for a second before it was instantly replaced by bloodlust. He slapped away her hand and aimed a palm at her face. Energy building up within. Yet he didn't fire, finding himself growling at himself while shaking in place. The entire time, Chronoa didn't bother to move a muscle and keep her smile true.
"But you're right I suppose. There isn't a reason for me to worry. Not even when you're like this." Chronoa said honestly, surprising the controlled Saiyan. "I know you'll never kill me. Kill us, I mean. It's just...not you."
The bloodlust wasn't residing. Not in the slightest. If anything it was growing from hearing her speak and his vision was becoming far more filled with red. Yet he managed to still see her and all it did was fill his body with anger.
"Afterall you would've killed me the moment you got here otherwise." Chronoa said, making his body shift uncomfortably. Just hearing that felt painful. "You're still my tough Saiyan in the end. Mine and Tights. So snap out of it already, because I doubt you're happy right now."
Rukido really wasn't. He could feel nothing, but the bloodlust and anger flowed through him like an endless hurricane. It was growing even stronger now, forcing him to reel his arm back to attack. Once more the Kai didn't move, having said all she needed to say to her lover and now looked at him patiently. His body violently jerked before he threw the fist forward...before quickly aiming straight into his own stomach.
"Ruki?" Chronoa reached a hand out towards. He still held the same dark and nasty aura, but he was taking a step back from her with his eyes shadowed.
"...Useless." Rukido finally spoke, anger spewing out from his now clenched teeth. "USELESS BASTARD!"
"Rukido!" Chronoa called out, upon seeing him strike himself even harder in his stomach.
"Get out. GET OUT!" Rukido ordered, striking himself across his head. He continued to do this, making sure to keep his distance from Chronoa and their child. Breaking free from the Evil Saiyan's control was far from easy, but he was too damn angry to care.
Chronoa moved to step forward before noticing the dark aura waving away. What's more was that his hair was slowly sticking up more stricker while bioelectricity started to build up around him. Realizing what was coming, she slowly backed away while he clenched his head in pain. He stepped backwards and fell on his knee before aggressively striking the ground and breaking through the balcony. Thankfully Chronoa managed to get herself to safety just in time while a bright beam of energy shot out into the sky. Once it faded, she looked at the debris to see Rukido float out of it.
His hair was now sticking straight up, losing all chance of it ever being fluffy while two, long bangs hanged off. Bright blue bioelectricity sparked angrily around his now normal Super Saiyan aura. Finally his green eyes had returned, showing anger within them that looked ready to let loose.
He finally achieved Super Saiyan 2 at long last.
"Feel better?" Chronoa asked, gaining his attention.
"Honestly? No. Not in the slightest." Rukido said under his breath. He was still getting back to his senses, but he knew one thing for sure. Kanba was gonna pay for what he had done. "I have to go back. Gohan and the others are still in danger."
"I know. There's no point of convincing you otherwise, but come here real quick." Chronoa said. He did as she said, getting close enough to her for her to force him into a rather aggressive kiss. He didn't even get the chance to return it before she pulled away with a smirk. "Consider that you're first reward for coming back to us."
"I only have you to thank for it." Rukido said, managing to calm himself down only a bit. Placing two fingers on his head, he easily located both Gohan's and Kanba's energy with the first being much weaker. "Now I have someone else to thank rather painfully."
Chronoa only nodded as he vanished from her sight. She then looked back out into the horizon with a frown before shaking her head and settling into a smile. 'It'll work out.' That's what she thought, no, believed that she could count on them to finish things off.
(Overseas)
Gohan roared as he threw a punch towards Kanba, the Evil Saiyan instantly matching it with his own. Not a second later, the Hybrid found himself overpowered and flung back, pain ignited through his hand. Despite it he grit his teeth and matched the approaching Kanba's fist once more and was immediately sent sliding back. That last one managed to make him lose his breath and allow Kanba a clear opening.
"You're a hundred years too young to face the likes of me." Kanba declared before unleashing a barrage of strikes upon the young hybrid. Not a single one was blockable, leaving Gohan in a slump of pain that continued on with each strike that landed. Once Kanba was done, Gohan stepped back a bit before falling on his back and reverting back to base. The Evil Saiyan wasn't done just yet and proceeded to place his foot on Gohan's chest, pressing down to get a pained gasp from him. "You did show promise however. Your intellect in battle is rare amongst the Saiyans, but without strength to back it up it is worthless." Gohan could only glare up at him, unable to move in the slightest. Kanba would have said more before they noticed a shift in Rukido's energy. "Impossible. He broke off from my aura!"
A minute went before Rukido finally appeared before them, surprising them in his Super Saiyan 2 form. The moment he locked eyes with Kanba, his anger was made clear through his focused eyes. However he looked down at Gohan, his expression softening slightly.
"Are you okay, Gohan?" Rukido asked.
"Y-yeah." Gohan managed to get out, throwing a weak grin at him. "T-though I didn't stand much of a chance after facing both Vegeta and Uncle Raditz."
"That's fine, you can leave Kanba to me from here on out." Rukido said, replacing all his attention on Kanba before approaching.
"What gives a weakling like you the right to face me? Is your inner Saiyan telling you that running away is a coward's way out or perhaps you seek the power I gave you once more?" Kanba questioned. He had longed stepped off of Gohan and kicked him out of the way, wanting to see what Rukido will do now.
"I want to surpass you." Rukido said, earning Kanba's attention as he drew closer. "I'm gonna make sure that you pay for all the things you've forced us to do! I don't give a damn how powerful you are, I'll beat you one way or another!"
"Powerful words, yet all for naught." Kanba declared, his dark energy flaring. It erupted from the ground under Rukido and quickly coated over him while the Evil Saiyan looked on. "You are still a pure blooded Saiyan, one I can take over as I please. Your will is far too weak to-what?"
The dark aura was shining vibrantly as yellow light shimmered through it. Rukido's roar could be heard from within before breaking through and dismissing the dark energy altogether.
"Impossible!" Kanba yelled, his shock made clear. No one, absolutely no one was able to escape his technique. "What did you do to break free from it! Answer me now, boy-" Kanba didn't get to finish before he was suddenly struck against his face and sent flying back.
"Don't know! Don't care!" Rukido yelled, while landing on his feet while Kanba slammed up against a boulder. "The only thing that matters is that I defeat you!"
"...Defeat me?" Kanba asked slowly. He then started laughing, catching their attention. Pulling himself free, his mouth piece fell off and revealed his full face for the first time and showed off his blood thirsty grin. "Fight me then, Saiyan Warrior!"
Rukido didn't respond, but his aura grew more fierce before he assumed a stance and shot forward at Kanba, the Evil Saiyan's aura exploding as he approached. Yet for the first time since he arrived, he was truly interested in the battle coming his way. Even if he did remain far stronger than his opponent, Kanba wanted to see this fight through.

A/N: Well this took longer than intended. Sorry about that, but that's just how it goes with so many stories going on. Even got another one brewing up soon enough, but I'll reveal that once it's posted. For now...I actually don't think I need to explain anything outside of Rukido breaking free due a mixture of will power and pure, focused anger. That is all.

Ushindi: Awesome chapter! Even Cumber being weaker than his Heroes canon self is still too strong and violent to our heroes. Uh oh, I never expected Rukido to go berserk by Cumber, Vegeta I can understand obviously and Raditz too to an extent. Piccolo, Polar and Gohan are in for a rough time.

2: That...is an extremely loaded question with a lot of answers to it. There would be so many changes to it because I would have to fully rewrite it. From start to finish. The easy answer would have to be everything.

By the way I posted something on your other Dragon Ball story but since I don't know when it will be updated I'm gonna do it again here sorry if this annoys you. I'm guessing that Cumber will regain his power as this story goes on as for the other Core Area Warriors I'm guessing Mechikabura will find and recruit Rags/Lagss into the Dark Empire in between whatever saga you have planned after the fight against Cumber and before the Buu Saga,Kamin and Oren will be recruited to the Dark Empire during the DBS portion of this story after the tournament against Universe 6 and before the Goku Black arc where their saga will be like the Baby saga from the original version of this story but unlike Baby they won't be killed off in that saga and will still be around for later sagas,and Hearts well he's not an easy to guess for me but probably during the DBS portion of this story. Anyway looking forward to what comes next K bye!
