Discovery Revealed!
After The Discovery of a massive creature, Known as Godzilla.
The Republic has made a final decision in studying the massive beast. But now, after the Sith Lord, Count Dooku has taken a Viranium Crystal from the Planet…Uneasiness overtakes the creatures of Planet Odysseia.
Now, The Jedi are on their way back to Planet Odysseia to find out more about the creature that Saved The Republic's loss against the Dreaded Separatists…
Planet Odysseia…
Continent Name: Paloma
Terrain: Dense Forests
Threats: Unknown
Environment Status: Hospitable
The Republic had arrived back on Odysseia. They had two goals. Harvest the Viranium and Study the creature. This planet was filled with life, flora, and fauna, flourishing everywhere, even in the scorching hot deserts. Including the almost uninhabitable Volcanic Biome. But as a wise person would say. "Life Finds a Way".
The Republic sent eight Battalions to the Planet. There was a total of eight continents. Each with its own Biome and environment. The 212th Attack Battalion was sent to Site A. Local Systems spread the word about the names of the Continents. But only the names were revealed, nothing of what lived on them, and nothing about what they looked like.
Paloma was the third Largest Continent on Planet Odysseia. It was filled with lush forests, beautiful waterfalls, and calm rivers.
Obi-Wan Kenobi was assigned to lead a reconnaissance team through the forest to establish a Research post. One that would hopefully be of use to studying the creature.
The Venator hovered in the Atmosphere of the Planet as Obi-Wan and Commander Cody boarded a LAAT Gunship as multiple dropships exited the Hangar. Leaving the Jedi Cruiser and heading into uncharted territory. Obi-Wan could feel something. It was the Planet. It felt calm in most places, but dangerous in some. It was like this place was connected with the Force. After all, it was the birthplace of whatever that creature was. The one that destroyed the Droids.
"General, We're approaching the Landing Zone, Nothing on scanners, Everything seems clear," Commander Cody said as he showed Obi-Wan a tablet of the radar. It wasn't picking up anything hostile.
"Good. Pilot, Take us down, find a good place to land," Obi-Wan said on comms.
"Yes sir," The Pilot responded back on his comms. The Fleet of LAAT Gunships descended lower. They got into the view of the lush forest, there were a few open spots that could be used for landing. The LAAT Gunships started to land. They spread out across the forest. Landing in perfectly open areas. The LAAT Gunships landed in their spots, opening the cargo bay up as the Clone Troopers started to unload supplies and Cargo.
Obi-Wan stepped down onto the soft soil of the forest. The soil was soft, but not wet or muddy. The Trees weren't very thick, but they came in an abundance of them. The Clones got to work as they set up their communication devices.
"General, Team 2 is a few clicks west from here. Team 3 is further east. And Team 4 hasn't responded back yet," Commander Cody said to Obi-Wan. Obi-Wan rubbed the bottom of his chin.
"Hmm, we need to be more careful, Local Systems have said that there are rather dangerous creatures on this planet, including the one from earlier," Obi-Wan said.
"You can say that again," Commander Cody replied as the Clones continued to unload.
"What of Anakin's Teams, Which Continent were they assigned to?" Obi-Wan asked, curious to know if his friend would be dealing with anything out of control.
"General Skywalker's Battalion was sent to the Desert Continent, Inferno, They just responded in, saying that they're preparing to deploy their teams," Commander Cody said to the General as they walked side by side with each other. Walking past busy Clones as they continued to engineer their essential devices.
"The word, Inferno, doesn't sound very pleasant," Obi-Wan said.
"We're in an agreement on that one, General, Inferno sounds a bit rough, Especially for Rex and the boys," Commander Cody said. They walked toward the tree line as the forest surrounded the landing area.
Then there was a small tremor in the ground. More like multiple. The Clones stopped what they were doing and looked around for what was causing the tremors. It was coming from the forest.
"Get in positions!" "Come on!" "Move it! Move it!" Some of the clones shouted as they took cover behind some of the equipment. Obi-Wan readied himself as Cody pulled out his DC-15S Blaster Rifle and aimed it at the tree line, standing next to Obi-Wan.
Tree branches started to snap, the footsteps became increasingly closer. The Clones and Obi-Wan were prepared for the worst, but then large creatures slowly advanced out from the tree line.
They walked on four legs. They looked very similar to a Parasuar, only much bigger. They were simply passing through as a massive herd walked through.
Obi-Wan and the Clones immediately lowered their blasters, seeing the creatures as no threats. There were calves too. They trotted next to their parents. The Males were much bigger as a large Bull was leading the herd. Obi-Wan and Commander Cody moved to the side as the massive Heribvores moved past them.
The Leader Bull stopped after seeing the Blockade of equipment. It looked around a little at the new beings that were in their way. The Aptononth Then stood on its hind legs as it gave a call. The Clones grew slightly wary of the creatures. But it turns out, the Bull was giving a call for them to start to feed.
The Herd started to break apart as they went to certain bushes with berries on them. With the young calves following their parents. Meanwhile, the Leader Bull moved around the Equipment that was set up in front of their usual path.
"General, what are these things?" Commander Cody said. Obi-Wan scratched his chin.
"No need to be alarmed, Cody, They're Aptonoths, they're quite timid and benevolent," Obi-Wan said as the Aptonoths continued to graze on the berries on certain bushes.
One of the Clones walked toward a berry bush. He pulled a piece of it off. He removed his helmet and ate one berry. Chewing it up.
He widened his eyes in surprise.
"This is actually really good, Bomb, come try this stuff," The Clone said to his comrade.
"No thanks, I'm not hungry," Bomb said as he continued to watch the Aptonoths graze on the berries. However, Some of the other Clone Troopers took a small bit of one of the berries. They were quite nutritious.
Obi-wan walked toward the berry bush. As soon as he got close enough, the Clone noticed quickly and got their backs straight as they stopped messing around. Commander Cody followed. Obi-Wan then picked a berry for himself. He then ate a piece of it.
"Well then, it seems we've found quite the nutritious fruit," Obi-Wan said as he walked toward one of the Aptonoth. The Clones stayed straight until the General left. They looked at each other and high-fived.
Commander Cody shook his head. Though they couldn't help it. They were rookies after all. Obi-wan got right next to a female who was grazing on the berries. He then placed a gentle hand on its neck. Patting it like it was a horse.
The Aptonoth continued to graze on the berries. It snorted a bit as air flew from its nostrils. Then it continued to graze on the berries.
"Alright Men, we still have work to do, Let's not delay any further," Obi-Wan said to his men. Now was no time for procrastinating, they needed to get back to work and be able to contact their other teams.
"Cody, be sure that the Aptonoths are well treated," Obi-Wan said as he walked toward one of the other Clones. Cody watched him and looked at the General with confusion.
"Excuse me, sir," Cody asked he was then nudged from the back as a young Aptonoth calf nudged him from the back. Then it started to rub its nose on his armor padding.
"She seems to like you, Commander," Bomb said to Cody as the young Aptonoth Calf continued to rub its nose on Cody's back. A group of Clones laughed at the sight. Cody then sighed.
"Just what I need," Cody said sarcastically as he tried to get back to work, but the young Aptonoth followed him like a duckling following their mother.
Obi-Wan quickly took notice and knew from the start that the 212th was going to be sticking around for a while. The Jedi Master then chuckled to himself as the young Aptonoth followed Commander Cody like a puppy.
Continent Name: Inferno
Terrain: Vast Deserts and Oasis
Threats: Unknown
Environment Status: Hostile
The 501st Battalion was currently in their LAAT Gunships, they flew over the scorching deserts of the Continent Inferno. From what was told, it was a massive Desert Continent. Though hot and miserable, Flora and Fauna manage to thrive in all parts of the desert. There was oasis after oasis. Filled with the largest Palm trees any could think of. With vast rivers flowing through the Oasis. Massive herds of Apceros and Banthas. Traveling as one.
Ahsoka and Anakin, along with the rest of the 501st, had prepared armor and clothing for the intense sandstorms and harsh environment of Inferno. They packed plenty of rations and water for the expedition and Reconnaissance. Among them were Captain Rex and Cloud. Cloud was CT-4735. He was part of the Airborne Unit, his rank was Staff Sergeant. It was because of him, that the 501st Airborne Battalion become more recognized. Cloud had some ARC Trooper Training since he took the course and tried to join the division. But after a highly difficult course, which was required for him to join the ARC division, he failed it which resulted in the rejection of joining the ARC Division. Now, he's joined up with the 501st Battalion Airborne Unit. Promoting the rank of Staff Sergeant.
"Alright, listen up boys, When we deploy, we'll be in uncharted and dangerous territory. I want Comms open at all times, and check-in every hour, we'll be divided up into four teams. Staff Sergeant Cloud, you'll take your squad over Sector 9 and secure a perimeter. Jesse, You and your men will be scouting out the Inferno Sea, If you see anything contact me immediately. Rex, I want you to take a group of twenty men and start constructing a camp once Jesse and Cloud have secured the Area. Ahsoka and I will be in the Oasis. Does everyone know their Assignments?" Anakin Skywalker announced as the Sandstorm in the air was becoming intense. Rocking their Gunships from side to side, making visibility almost impossible.
"Sir, yes, sir!" All the Clone troopers in the Gunship said. Anakin nodded.
"General, The Sandstorm's getting worse, Visibility is limited, We'll need to deploy as soon as possible," The Pilot said on the comms.
"Copy that. Alright, Cloud, We're getting close to Sector 9, Are your men ready," Anakin said as the Gunship continued to rock from side to side.
"Yes sir, General, We're ready to deploy," Cloud said as he put on his helmet. The rest of his men put on their jetpacks and got their blasters ready.
"Alright, as soon as this door opens, heavy sand's gonna fly in, So make sure you got protection on," Anakin said as the Storm became more violent. Ahsoka was having a hard time balancing herself.
"Master, are you sure we should deploy them in this sandstorm?" Ahsoka said as the rocking of the Gunship continued to worsen.
"It'll be fine, Snips. Besides, what's a few bumps gonna do," Anakin reassured his padawan, but also seemingly joking about it too. Ahsoka, however, wasn't buying it. How could he call this fine?!
The rest of the LAAT Gunships that were close to Anakin's Flagship was also rocking heavily from the sandstorm. They were getting closer to their drop zone.
"General, We're nearing Sector 9," The pilot said on Anakin's Comms. Anakin listened closely, the LAAt Gunship continued to rock back and forth.
"Roger that. Cloud," Anakin said as he looked toward the Staff Sergeant.
"Yes Sir," Cloud said as he put on his helmet along with the rest of his squad. They put on their helmets and got their jetpacks hot.
"The doors are opening in…three," Anakin started the countdown as he put his desert goggles over his eyes, along with Ahsoka. All the other clones got their helmets on, including Rex and Jesse.
"Two…" Anakin said once again as Cloud and his squad got their weapons hot and ready for whatever was down in Sector 9.
"One. Open the Doors!" Anakin said on his comm as the pilot clicked a button, causing the door to open wide. As the door slid open, it wasn't just the amount of sand that came through, it was also the amount of force that entered the ship's hull.
As the doors slid open, the LAAT Gunship shook violently as it tilted to the side. Sand flew in. Causing a majority of the clones to lose their balance. Rex clung to the side of the ship, along with Jesse, Fives, Ahsoka, and Anakin. Cloud barely kept his balance himself, as a majority of the clones were on the ground. One even fell out of the ship as he was lost in the massive Sandstorm.
"GO, GO!" Anakin shouted, ordering Cloud and his squad to deploy.
"You heard him, men, LET'S GO!" Cloud said, leaping out of the LAAT, along with the rest of his squad. In the neighboring LAAT Gunships, Some of the other clone squads deployed, though an unfortunate LAAT Gunship, lost its balance too greatly, causing it to descend down to the ground at an intense speed. Cloud, along with his squad skydived down toward Sector 9. Visibility was almost impossible.
"Everyone, turn on your heat vision so we can avoid colliding," Cloud said on his comms, pulling his antenna down in front of the right side of his visor. The rest of the clones pulled their own antennas down as they turned on their jetpacks, flying through the intense sandstorm. The sandstorm increasingly got worse the further down the squads of Clones descended.
Cloud then got on his comms to contact one of his men.
"Fives, Anything on scanners?" Cloud asked on his comms.
"Sergeant Cloud, I'm getting an emergency Transmission from a few clicks west from our drop point," Fives said on the comms. Cloud heard him loud and clear. The dropship from earlier that became disabled, the one that crashed. There must've been survivors.
Cloud could then see the solid ground.
"All units! Activate your jetpacks," Cloud said on his comms to his squad. As they all turned on their jetpacks. Blue flames sprouted from the end of the motors. They slowly descended down as they landed on their feet, deploying on the large sand dunes of Sector 9, a portion of the Inferno Sea.
Cloud then got on his comms again to contact General Skywalker.
"General Skywalker, Our scanners have picked up a distress signal. It could be one of the gunships that fell in the sandstorm. Permission to Search and Rescue, Sir," Cloud said on the comms as the rest of his squad landed next to him. One by one, they placed their feet on the dunes of the Inferno Sea.
"Permission granted, Sergeant Cloud, bring them to the location where Rex and his men are staging," Anakin said on Cloud's comms.
"Copy that," Cloud said.
"Alright, listen up men. There's a crashed Gunship just a few clicks West from here, Our new objective is to rescue those survivors and bring them to Captain Rex's Coordinates, is that understood?" Staff Sergeant Cloud said, speaking to his squad as the heavy sandstorm only worsened.
"Sir, yes Sir!" All the clones shouted.
"Alright, let's mobilize," Cloud said as the clone squad then moved out, heading toward the location. The sandstorm continued. Visibility was almost impossible.
The Clone Squad traversed through the Inferno Sea. They stayed close, watching each other's backs.
The Vast Ocean that separates Akuma from Inferno…
Godzilla was tracking the Beserk Testucabra through the Ocean. He had more pressing matters to attend to. Such as the arrival of the Jedi. Especially the Togruta, who he had only sensed rather than seen. Godzilla didn't know why they came to his home. Harvesting the Viranium would be useless at this point, An invisible barrier was already doing its job to prevent Viranium to leave the planet. With the exception of one crystal. Which was the very reason why the barrier was formed to begin with. If the Jedi proved to be threats to the natural order, he would eradicate them swiftly and mercilessly, but if they came as friends, then perhaps Godzilla could get a fresh start with the outside galaxy.
Godzilla traveled through the ocean, swimming at an increasing speed. He guessed it was heading towards the continent Inferno, which he had pacified long ago, it was under his rule. Any and all manner of creatures had submitted to him. Which gave him relief. But the Berserk Tetsucabra would cause the natural balance and life cycle in that area quite drastically. In this case, Godzilla would need to rid this world of the Tetsucabra before it could cause any more harm to the other continents.
Godzilla then rose his head out of the water. Godzilla's eyes then turned cat-eyed, and the aura of his eyes intensified, from what seemed to be miles and miles away, Godzilla could see the beach of Inferno. The ground erupted from the beach as the Berserk Tetsucabra emerged from the ground, crawling its way further onto the continent. It then disappeared into a huge sandstorm. Godzilla would have to disperse of it soon, once he gets there at least.
Godzilla then dove his head back under the water, accelerating at a faster speed.
Continent Paloma…
Cody had gotten a squad of Clones to scout out the area. The Aptonoth Calf continued to follow Cody and the group of clones. Cody stopped and looked at the little calf.
"Look, little guy, you should probably get back to your herd, Your mother's probably worried sick," Cody said to the calf. All it did was stare at him blankly. After a long moment, the Aptonoth Calf then sneezed at the ground as he looked back up at Cody. Cody then sighed heavily.
"Just, stay close," Cody said, which caused the young Aptonoth to hop in excitement, but was somewhat confused. It then followed Cody and the rest of the clones. The scouting team advanced into the dense forest of the continent, Paloma. The birds chirped loudly, flying high and thorough through the trees. Unbeknownst to them, someone was watching. Seemingly wearing a wooden mask, a person with greyish, white hair was watching the group of clone troopers. The person seemed female, she hide in the bushes and watched them silently. The girl hadn't seen outsiders here for a long time, but it was not a week ago, that these same beings fought on their own planet, destroying their peaceful places. The metal that fell from the sky destroyed some of the fishing huts on the distant islands out near the coast. The robotic men seemed to be the enemies, at least the King, Gojira, disposed of the robotic men quickly and cunningly. His breath is a storm, his rage is thunder.
She didn't know why Gojira had left the outsiders alone, but if Gojira sparred them, then he must've done it for good reason. When Gojira makes a decision, it is absolutely permanent in what he does. What he decides will remain what he decided. Lest he reconsiders his actions or choice, but that came at a very rare occurrence.
She would see exactly what they were doing and why they were here. She followed them closely, yet stealthy at the same time.
The scouting team got at least a mile away from the camp. There was no sign of hostiles yet. Just small animals of sorts.
The small Aptonoth had followed Cody the entire way. Only stopping for a short graze on the same berries that were nutritious. Cody then stopped, putting up his hand to stop the rest of the squad. They all stopped, getting their guns at the ready.
Cody then looked to the trees. Bomb and Boil looked at the Commander, then at each other. Boil and Bomb moved a bit closer to Cody.
"Commander, what is it?" Boil asked, interested in what exactly Commander Cody was looking at. Cody didn't say anything, but then finally spoke after a long moment.
"There's something in the trees," Cody said, fixating his eyes on the trees just in front of them. Boil and Bomb looked at each other.
"Do you know what it is, Commander?" Bomb asked. Once again, Cody fell silent.
"I don't know, I feel like I'm losing my edge," Cody responded after a short few moments. Everyone, including the Jedi, had been acting up recently, was it the massive creature from earlier? Or was it this planet that was taking a toll on everyone's mind?
They stared at the trees for a few moments. Cody stayed silent.
"Let's keep moving," Cody said as he continued to walk forward. Boil and Bomb then gestured their hands for the rest of their brothers to follow. They all followed their commanding officer.
The girl who was hiding in the brush watched the clones stop. She knew exactly why, something was watching them. That something, being a Hunter of Honor. They followed a moral Code of Honor and Respect. Though, they were brutal to those that dishonored. They were beings of absolute strength and agility. They were good friends of the girl's tribe. She even had a strong…relationship with one of them. He was a Blooded member, getting closer to an Elite.
She didn't know if he had come all this way to hunt the outsiders or if they were simply in his way. She, of course, didn't even know if it was him at all. It could be just a YoungBlood out on a hunt. After all, they were on their hunting grounds.
She would need to find a way to get the outsiders out of the Hunting Grounds.
She couldn't speak their language since it was ancient. But she understood it.
She then stopped in her tracks, she sensed something…all the way on Inferno…Gojira was hunting, he was searching for an enemy. Inferno was about to become a war zone…
On the shores of continent Inferno…
Godzilla slowly advanced on the shores of Inferno. He stood up on his feet as he dragged his feet through the ocean, pushing through it as if it were thin air. The Sandstorm had a border, which stopped right on the edge of the beach. Godzilla then placed his feet on the soft sand. Creating a massive footprint in the ground.
He then stopped at least forty meters from the border of the sandstorm. Godzilla then snarled as his eyebrows scowled. Godzilla then spread out his feet, placing them at least shoulder-width apart. His tail slammed on the ground, spreading sand everywhere. The massive Titan reeled his head back. Then let out a huge, massive roar that was at least 610 decibels. The roar was so loud the entire Sandstorm dispersed into nothingness. But not only that, the entire ground quaked and shaked massive. Shaking the entirety of the continent. The shockwave and tremors were sent across the entire planet. The shockwave was spread at about three miles in just three seconds. It would take approximately 12 hours before the entire planet had felt the true power of Godzilla's roar. The shockwaves and tremors could be felt, but the sound of Godzilla's roar would die down when it got at least 12,441 miles, which the sound would be only at six decibels when it reaches that mile. Inferno was approximately 8,455 miles in size. Paloma was at least 13,680 miles. Meaning it would reach over 11/12th of Paloma, at least the roar would. The Shockwaves and Tremors would be felt across the entire planet.
The roar was so loud that sand all around Godzilla began to rise, breaking them into even smaller pieces. The sandstorm then completely dispersed. Leaving the open, vast land of Inferno.
Godzilla stopped his roar, but it only continued to travel across the world. Godzilla would deal with the devastation of his own roar later. First, he needed to take care of the Tetsucabra. Godzilla then continued his way, further into the Continent Inferno.
Further out in the vast desert of Inferno…
Cloud and his squad had been traveling for a while, they slowly came across the dune desert. Still in the almost inescapable sandstorm.
"Staff Sergeant! Shouldn't we take cover!" One of the clones shouted as they shielded their helmets from the sandstorm. Cloud kept moving.
"The gunship is just over this dune hill, we'll take shelter in it until it blows over!" Cloud shouted as they all fought against the sandstorm. The walked over the dune hill. Trying to keep their footing check, in case they were to fall. They finally made it over the hill, as the saw the gunship, embedded in heavy sand.
"General, we found the gunship, it's covered with heavy sand," Cloud said on his comms.
No response, only static.
"General, Come in! General do you read me! Damnit!" Cloud cursed as he turned to his brothers.
"I can't get a signal through this storm, we're gonna have to take shelter in the gunship until it blows over," Cloud shouted, the sandstorm never ceased to stop.
"Sir, yes sir!" The clones shouted as they pushed toward the gunship. Some of the clones lost their balance while trying to get down the hill, falling over and rolling in the sand until they made it to the bottom.
"You alright?!" Fives asked one of the fallen clones.
"Yeah, I'm good," The clone said as he got up. Fives then got something on his scanners, something was coming, and coming in fast.
"Sergeant! Something's on the scanners, it's coming in fast!" Fivers shouted.
"Where?! Which direction!?" Cloud shouted back.
"From the east! It's coming in from the east!" Fives shouted as the clones turned toward the east. They pulled out their blasters, as they got hot and ready. The ground seemed to be moving, almost as if something was underneath it.
"TAKE COVER!" Cloud shouted as a huge explosion of sand erupted from the ground, scattering the clones as they were thrown back from each other. An unfortunate clone was stabbed by what seemed to be a horn. But that was when a massive creature had shown itself. Diablos. A large monster with a triceratops head, an ankylosaurus tail, and large wings. Its scales and armor were nearly impenetrable from blaster fire.
The Diabols roared loudly.
RRRRRROOOOAAAAARRRR
The Clones recovered as they looked on in shock. There hadn't been a Diablos sincethe days of the Republic…they all were thought to be extinct.
"A Diablos!? I thought those guys were extinct!" Fives shouted.
"Well, that is one angry Fossil! Get cover, evasive manuvers!" Cloud shouted as the rest of the clones got up and divided up into two groups, circling the Diablos as it at the dead Clone on its horn. Goppling the corpse up in an instant. It then turned its attention toward the rest of the clones. The clones then shot their DC-17S Carbine Rifles at the Diablos. The blaster bolts had little to no effect on the large beast. It roared in agitation at the annoying blaster fire that the outsiders had. The Diablos then swung its tail at the group of clones behind it. Creating a small shockwave, separating the group from each other. The Diablos then charged at the other group of Clones. Who continued to fire their blasters. All the while, the heavy sandstorm continued.
The Clones tried to run through the sandstorm, but proved rather difficult, if not impossible. The Diablos made it look easy, after all, it adapted to the environment around it.
As it charged at the group of clones with its horns down like a bull, some of the clones dove down to take cover, only for the exception of two, one got stabbed in the side whilst the other was caught in the jaws of the Diablos. The other clones were out of the way from the Diablos. The clone on the Diablos's horn was dead. The large creature then swallowed the dead clone in its jaws whole. Then it grabbed the dangling corpse of the clone on its horn, and ate it too.
The clones that fell on the ground were backed up against a corner, this included Cloud. They tried backing away, but proved to be futile. The Diablos looked down at its prey, growling and snarling. It made a massive roar in the air.
RRRRRRRROOOOOOOAAAAAAAARRRRR
It then moved in for the kill, only for a huge shockwave to overtake the entire area. Pushing the clones and Diablos over. The Diablos fell on its chest, as the clones were pushed back even further. The shockwave travelled increasingly further as the Sandstorm was dispersed of. Not only that, but a loud Roar was heard. The loudest roar that the Clones had ever heard. What came after the shockwave and roar were the immense tremors that were similar to that of a tons upon tons of Rydonium explosions shaking the entire ground.
After what felt like hours of heavy tremors, everything stopped. The air was still, the ground no longer shook. Everything was quiet.
The Clones, slowly got up on their feet, recovering from what had just transpired.
"What the hell was that?" Fives asked calmly, but absolute shakened. Not in all his life had he heard a roar as powerful as that. Nor had he felt such tremors or a shockwave. Cloud stood up with the rest of the remaining clones.
"The Sandstorm…" Cloud said as he looked up to the sky. "It's…gone…" Cloud continued. The rest of the clones couldn't believe it. A massive sandstorm that covered the entire continent had been dispersed by some a shockwave, heavy tremors, and a roar.
Cloud then got on his comms.
"General, do you copy?" Cloud said through the comms.
"Cloud…are…where…Cloud…" A response came through. But it was cut out and blocked.
"General? Look I don't know how much of this you're getting, but something just created a huge shockwave, and it's heading in your direction," Cloud said, hoping that some of his message would reach the General. There was long static and silence on the comms.
"So much for checking in every hour," Fives commented as he brushed the sand off himself. Some of the other clones did this as well.
Cloud ignored Fives comment as he tried to get in touch with General Skywalker. After waiting a long moment, there was still no response. Cloud then sighed.
"Let's get those survivors out of the Gunship," Cloud said as he walked to the now almost completely embedded gunship. Only the cockpit and the thrusters weren't buried under the heavy sand.
Cloud then shot at the cockpit, seperating it. Cloud then opened it up with difficult effort. He then turned on his flashlight. The pilot was still alive, but unconscious at the moment. Cloud checked a pulse, it was steady.
"Fives help me with this," Cloud said as Fives climbed up on the pile of sand. They then unstrapped the seatbelt on the unconscious pilot. They both then pulled him out. Fives then took him dragging him gently down the hill as another clone came to help Fives.
Cloud then looked inside the cockpit, there was a flashing red signal on the gunship. The pilot must've turned on the emergency transmission.
"Alright, Boys start digging, we'll try to get the cargo bay open," Cloud said to his brothers. The clones then started digging with their hands, moving it out of the way. It would take a while before they got all the sand out of the way.
Inferno Oasis…4,340 miles away from Cloud's Squad location…
Ahsoka and Anakin were in the middle of a sandstorm. Anakin had been through some pretty rough sandstorms on Tatooine. But never something like this. He and Ahsoka could barely see in front of them. At this rate, they wouldn't be able to contact Obi-Wan and the rest of the Jedi Generals or even the Council.
"Master! Shouldn't we get cover?" Ahsoka shouted as she shielded her eyes, even though she wore desert goggles.
"I can't see anything! Do you?" Anakin shouted back.
"No, the sandstorm's only getting worse!" Ahsoka shouted. The sandstorm continued to push them back.
Then on the comms of Anakin's comlink.
"Wait, I got something? Sergeant Cloud, Are you at the location? Where are you, Do you read me Staff Sergeant Cloud?! Sergeant Cloud!? Damn!" Anakin shouted on his comlink. Then a response came back in.
"General…I don't…where…shockwave…direction…" Cloud's voice was cut out more than could be counted. A Shockwave? In which direction? If they were out in the Inferno Sea, which was the opposite direction he and Ahsoka were heading, then the so called, "shockwave" was heading in their direction. Or a direction that would be important for Anakin and Ahsoka to know.
"A shockwave?" Anakin asked himself. What kind of shockwave was Cloud talking about, it had to be massive if it was heading in their direction.
"What did he say, Master?" Ahsoka shouted through the sandstorm, which only continued to worsen.
"He said something about a shockwave, but because of the interference with the storm, a lot of it didn't come through," Anakin shouted to Ahsoka. This concerned Ahsoka but also gave her curiousity, wondering what or who made the shockwave. One that's large enough to travel thousands of miles.
Then, Ahsoka and Anakin were knocked off their feet by a powerful force that hit them. A heavy shockwave pushed them over, then intense and heavy tremors shook the entire ground. Similiar to that of many Rhydonium Explosions triggering off all at once. Ahsoka and Anakin were proned on the ground, not knowing what was happening or how. Then a loud roar, which sounded all too familiar to Ahsoka was heard. The sound was at least 120 decibels. Causing Anakin and Ahsoka to cover their ears from the loud roar. Ahsoka knew exactly what made that roar.
After what felt like hours of tremors, even though it only lasted a few minutes. Everything was quiet, the air was still, and the sandstorm had been dispersed, the sky was clear now. Ahsoka and Anakin laid on the ground, dazed and confused.
They both got up to see that everything was…clear? The sandstorm had been completely dispersed.
"What in the name of Ferrik was that?" Anakin said as he took off his goggles, looking around at the now clear sky. Ahsoka was absolutely shocked. That roar was all too familiar. It was the creature! The one that saved her and the clones from the Separatists.
"Master…that roar…it sounded exactly like the creature, the one that saved the clones and I from Dooku and his droids," Ahsoka said also taking off her desert goggles, knowing she didn't need them anymore.
"The one we're trying to study…If it's here…then something or someone is drawing its attention here," Anakin said.
"Do you think it's coming here, because of us?" Ahsoka asked curiously, wondering if the arrival of the Republic had troubled the creature, and it sought to wipe them out. Anakin let out a heavy sigh of confusion.
"I'm not sure, snips, but…whatever it came here for, it's certainly not happy, especially after dispersing an entire sandstorm with just its roar, or at least that's what it looked like," Anakin said. Ahsoka was beyond shocked and once again impressed with the sheer power of the creature. First it destroyed an entire Droid battalion, then it roars so loud that it disperses a huge sandstorm, which most likely covered over half the continent. Only time could tell on what more it was capable of.
"Rex, come in, do you copy, over," Anakin said on his comms.
"Yeah, General, we're all here, we just got hit by a huge shockwave, and the sandstorm's gone? What the hell was that?" Captain Rex asked on the comms.
"Ahsoka believes it was the creature from a week ago. She said the roar was familiar," Anakin said on his comms.
"Actually, now that I think about it, we all heard the roar, it sounded exactly like the creature, nearly identical," Captain Rex said on the comms.
"Well, then, it's confirmed, it's here on Inferno," Anakin told Ahsoka. "Rex, Cloud tried to contact me and gave me a heads up on the shockwave, they went to a crashed Gunship in the Inferno Sea. Now that the weather's cleared up, get a gunship and head to their location ASAP," Anakin said.
"Yes Sir, General Skywalker," Captain Rex said on the comms.
"Alright, snips, let's get back to-" Anakin said but was cut off by more tremors, seemingly underneath them. The ground tremored hard, Anakin and Ahsoka had difficulty balancing themselves.
"Great, now what!?" Anakin said out loud. Ahsoka didn't have much to say other than-BBBOOOOOMMM
The ground beneath their feet erupted into a massive burst of sand. Anakin and Ahsoka were sent into the air, but then they grabbed a hold of something that was huge. They grabbed a hold of a large scale, clinging onto it for dear life. The sand fell on the ground as they seemed to be on the side of a massive, overgrown, scaled frog. It had dark black scales, though there seemed to be tusks missing on its mouth. It came out of the ground as it gave a loud roar. Though nowhere near as loud as the one that caused the shockwave.
"Hang on, AHSOKA!" Anakin shouted as they clunged to the massive frog.
The massive frog-like creature didn't seem to notice the tiny human and Togruta on its left side. It then started to crawl forward through the vast Oasis. Ahsoka and Anakin couldn't find a way to drop off the massive frog. It was roughly 50 meters tall. Huge in size.
"What are we going to do, Master!?" Ahsoka shouted.
"I don't know! Just hang on," Anakin said as they stayed on the massive frog. It travelled across the Oasis. Searching for food. Even though, there were tiny snacks right on its side.
Continent Paloma…Commander Cody's Squad…
Commander Cody and his squad had been scouting out the area for quite some time. At least a few hours had passed. They had gone at least six miles from their camp.
"Alright, boys, take a ration break, we'll rest here for a moment before we head back to camp," Commander Cody said to his squad as they stopped in an opening of trees. There were berries all over the area.
The clones then sat down and rested. Taking off their helmets and eating some of their rations. The Aptonoth calf had followed Cody all the way out here. Cody sat down next to a log as the young calf rested its head on his legs. It too was tired. It almost sounded like it was sleeping, snoring quite loudly.
Cody looked at it for a short moment, he then gently placed his hand on its neck. Brushing it lightly. He then took off his helmet and put it to the side. He couldn't help but smile at the calf. He didn't know why the little guy followed him all the way out here, but it brought some comfort to him.
Watching Cody from the bushes, the same girl had followed them all this way. She wasn't exhausted since she travels quite a lot. She's practically explored nearly the entire Continent. She saw how the outsider, who seemed to be the leader, was so gentle and kind to the Aptonoth calf. It was…cute…kind…adorable.
The girl couldn't help but smile at the sight. She may not know who the outsider is, but she can already tell, they meant no harm to the environment, it was the robotic men who were evil and insidious. These outsiders were trying to protect the planet from those metal men.
"So, Bomb, what do you think of Cody having himself a little friend like that?" Boil asked.
"Weird, odd, funny, strange, and oh, confusing," Bomb said as he laid back on a log.
"At least there's honesty," Boil said, laying his head back as well as he took a bit of his ration.
Watching them from a tree, was a cloaked being, nearly impossible to see. It watched them closely. Seemingly using heat-ray vision. It wore a biomask, its mandibles under its mask started clicking frequently. Almost in amusement. It then leaped from the tree and onto another, making a noise.
Cody was so close to shutting his eyes, when he heard the snapping of a tree branch. His eyes bulged open as he looked around, the Aptonoth Calf woke up too as it got up, roaring in the process. It took off into the brush, hiding from the Hunter. Cody got up on his feet as he grabbed his blaster.
"Men, get in defensive positions!" Cody said as he put his helmet on. The Clones were caught off guard, one of them, who was laying on a rock, fell off and hit the ground. Quickly scrambling to their feet as they put on their helmets. They all grabbed their blasters, getting them hot and ready.
There was more mandible clicking noises. Then something landed in the opening near the edge of the woods. One of the clones fired their blasters.
"HOLD YOUR FIRE!" Cody yelled, but it was too late. The shot was already fired. The blue bolt hitted the cloaked figure in the arm, green blood sprouted from the wound. The Cloaking then slowly went away, the Creature looked at its arm in slight agitation. It then looked at the clones.
It then made a loud roar at the group of clones as it revealed…A Yautja.
Cody didn't want to pick a fight with this thing…but it was too late…they had already proven to be threats. Now…they had a fight for their lives…Fighting a Warrior Hunter from a bygone Era.
