Evangelion: You Shall (not) Win This Time
Episode 24: Building (up)/ Episode 14's Canon Gets (replaced) Completely

With the next two episodes of canon being free reign to do whatever one wished before things picked back up again with the events of the fight against Leliel, Bishops was fully devoted towards not wasting any time getting his house in further order. First step in making that happen: visiting the owners of potential investments in an attempt to sway them into becoming apart of the Spiral Industries "family". Multiverse Championship Vanguard and Hearts of Aura were quick fairly quick to sign on in exchange for the added capitol that came with partial ownership while the versions of Kaiba Corp. and Wayne Enterprises he had sights on would obviously be far more difficult to sell on, and he had planned on saving Loveless for last on his itinerary. Which left one potential investment among the list of candidates he had listed: Carnal Desire Creations. Within the agreed upon neutral ground of Earth Dimension MGLN-448187-Sigma: a Magical Girl Lyrical Nonoha universe known for its multiversal group of magical girl security Magus Argonavis, the leader of the Knights of Ryujin was sitting down with scientist known to the multiverse only as Dr. Gremory to discuss their potential future partnership.
"So if what you've told me is correct, the reason you want to invest in my little source of revenue is so you can not only build up funds to fight your war against Rendo Nexus, but also have a stake in the Warper medical field by having more variety on store shelves. Am I in the ball park?" asked the nymphomaniac scientist with the level 10 Warper answering "Pretty much, but my partner and I would be more hands off with our subsidiaries unless we feel that something ain't right. That way, you get more money to live off of while getting your name better recognized for good reasons, and you can focus on your experiments of the "sexuality of science" uninterrupted a good portion of the time. All we really need is copies of your research that lead to your so called byproducts such as cellular regeneration, muscle memory enhancements, and the creation of artificial organs that can cut down on the waiting lists for donors for those in need. If you ask me, sounds like one hell of a deal if I were in your position."
"So you say." responded Dr. Gremory before going on a tangent by adding "I'll be frank with you, I'm not 100% sold on what you're selling, but quite honestly, I despise the idea of affiliating with groups allied with Rendo Nexus more. Their cloning labs and the way they obtain their subjects is rather distasteful. There's no creation of connections based on mutual attraction involved in the slightest. When a beautiful woman winds up in one of my cultivation tanks, I damn well make sure that she is treated with the upmost respect and consent before, during and after as I share my love for her with the multiverse. Am I perverted for doing such? Yes, just like everyone else. But at least I treat my subjects and creations with love and respect."
Bishops just listens to all of this before throwing his two cents in by saying "Well aren't we all a bit perverted? I can see why you have such a mentality with your work, and the reviews for your creations speak for themselves. If you partner up with Spiral Industries, you'll have the freedom to express that love and respect, plus a share of the profits."
The doctor's answer: "Very well, you'll have my services, but there is something else that I want in exchange." with Bishops asking "And that is?"
" You have quite a batch of fully grown lovelies amongst your ranks outside of the ones that your Geist Fox buddy has for wives. If I were to oh say, be allowed to…..get to know them better, than I'd be more interested in this little partnership of ours." responded the nympho mad scientist with her newest investor answering "You'll have to bring it up with them, despite how they were added to my team, each member has their autonomy to do as they wish. Though I can talk to them to try and sway some influence in your favor. Welcome to Spiral Industries, Ms. Gremory. I'll have the paperwork sent to you ASAP."
The two shake hands and with another investor in the bag, Bishops set off to deal with the next thing on his to do list: register his neck of the multiversal woods as an OU and granting it protected status. Considering the fact that he was offering safe haven to a universe of refugees who were attacked by current Public Enemy Number One and had amassed a significant number of Warper citizenry in his universe, it was safe to say that the status was granted. Bishops was sitting down at the desk while the paperwork was being processed when one of the OCs that he was responsible for creating walked into the room.
"I thought you'd be putting off declaring OU status until after canon was over, pops." went the Warper Tulio Rodriguez with his creator responding "Desperate times call for desperate measures. I take it registration has been on the uptake due to the increase of refugees being spread across the multiverse?"
"Like you wouldn't believe." answered the Order of Reality employee before adding "With RN basically trying to start a multiversal war and having the army to back it up, more Warpers are fleeing to untouched universes and spilling the secret left and right. Surprised that yours hasn't been filled in yet."
"I keep telling people-" went Bishops before his creation finished the statement by going "if you have too many people filled in at once, the stupids will do something that'll cause more harm than good, I know. All I'm saying is that you can still inform people who don't join the Knights, but do it in smaller increments so you can mitigate the damage done."
Bishops responded with "I'll consider that approach, but I make no promises." before creator and creation part ways for the time being once the OU registration was completed.
Within the confines of his Tranzector, Bishops was making the journey home while contacting his business partner to give him the run down.
"Gremory is in on Spiral Industries affiliation and OU status has been secured. Anything else before I reach home?" asked the Knights of Ryujin leader when Naruto on the other line answered "I think that's about it for now unless you wanna do some stuff for yourself. Managed to snag a good deal on a factory so we can set up production of what my company was making before the attack, with any luck, we should be getting product out in a week at most."
"Copy that, I'll be back soon." replied Bishops when a kind of influence started worming its way into Bishops mind. An influence that while not seeming malevolent wasn't outright proving itself to be benevolent either as Bishops altered the course of his ship towards a seemingly random location: Remnant Dimension RWBY-8135846-Theta…..or what was left of it anyway. Yes, that particular universe had seen better days before being on the chopping block for the war between the Ugandan Knuckles tribe and the cult of Sonichu, forcing everyone who could to flee and leaving everyone else to their doom as all that remained was a wasteland. No Grimm, no huntsmen, only the ruins of the four kingdoms as Bishops landed his ship in what was the courtyard of Beacon Academy. Traversing deeper into the darkened, seemingly untouched bowels of the lower floors leading to the most sub of subbasements, Bishops continued to trek forward, as if something was guiding him towards some mysterious goal before stopping at a random bookcase within the deepest levels of the school.
The level 10 Warper puts his attention towards the Metsu Sol Emerald housed on his body and goes "I don't know if you're the one behind this, but if you are, this better be leading to something good because I've already put up with more than enough bullshit from what the multiverse has thrown at me so far and I still have 13 episodes worth of canon to deal with on top of it." before feeling the need to pull out a single book from the case, revealing a secret set of stairs.
"Like I said, this better be good." responded the Knights of Ryujin leader before descending the stairs leading to an unlocked door, revealing a room housing…nothing…except for a single stone and what seemed to be a replica of the sword of one Meta Knight.
"The fuck is this?" went the emerald holder before reaching out towards the sword's handle as a massive surge of a familiar energy began to emanate from the weapon. Bishops persevered with assistance from the Sol Emerald's influence as the high level Warper pushed on and after a few minutes of give and take, the sword was promptly in his hands.
"What are you up to?" went Bishops questioning the powerful relic he harbored on his body before making his way back home where he could probably get some sense of what he would call normalcy after this event. Upon finally reaching the safe haven of his empty penthouse, the active NERV commander plopped his ass down on the couch and started having some personal introspection. How far he's come in a few in universe months, the alliances he's begun to truly forge, the amount of success that he's had in life after becoming a Warper compared to his life on Earth Prime pre-dimensional lightning strike that lead to all of this. He has money, power, people under his lead, the sense that he was actually doing things that made a difference, but there was that part of him that did yearn for his old life back. While it was nowhere near as exciting and fruitful as where he was now, the level 10 Warper couldn't help but think about what he had to leave behind to get to this point. But then he remembers the concept that if he wasn't around to help, than how many more universes would fall to RN that he wouldn't be able to do anything about and the possibility that they might try to take Earth Prime for themselves. Which is when he noticed something in the stack of mail: an invitation to watch an exhibition tournament in Earth Dimension DBG–22 involving teams lead by four of the more recently crowned destroyer deities, one of which happened to be one Kenji Blackthorn or the Outlaws Warper pirate crew. On one hand, something major could spring up involving Spiral Industries and/or Rendo Nexus since where he was in canon would be perfect for it due to episodes 14 and 15 were basically down periods before thing truly got serious. But on the other hand, he could garner some good will from some powerful individuals once RN was dealt with plus, possibly peddle his new company's wares.
Looks like our "hero" has some prep to do.

Earth Dimension SDS-41-Delta: A Super Duper Sumos universe deep in the heart of Gourdian territory where there were no longer warriors with guts or really large behinds. Now it served as a Gourdian listening post and supply depot under siege from the demented force of the Lemongrab mutant currently tearing apart the entirety of the Squash Droid forces that dared to stand in its way. The creature tore the phallicly placed cannon of a Category: Ogre unit from its housing with a fierce flaccid howl when a blast of energy came hurling down on both targets, destroying the Squash Droid, and irritating the mutant. The source of the attack: the same muscular mouse man that had interrupted the race that Sakura Suzuhara had participated in during her short lived vacation.
"I've found it at last. Haha. A entity fueled by Chaos Energy that can possibly stand to my level. Our battle shall be legendary. Haha." went Michael Rodent as the lemon mutant responded "MMMMRRRRRRAHH! Whhhhhhoooooooooo dares to distuuuuurb my assimilation?! Show your self to meeeeeeeeee!"
"Your assimilation of these hunks of scrap is irrelevant. Haha. What is relevant is the battle we shall have. Prove yourself worthy of wielding the power of Chaos Energy more than I am, Lemongrease freak. Haha." answered Mr. Mouse, and oh boy, the mutant did not take that name to heart.
"I AM NOT FREAK! NOR AM I GREASE! I find your existence to beeeeeee….UNACCCCCEPPPPPTABLLLLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"

The lemon creature swung its expanding organic growth of an arm towards the mouse man as the battle begun. Mr. Mouse managed to evade the mutated flesh of his opponent before going in for an aerial roundhouse kick to send the lemon flying, only for the creature's neck to stretch out significantly from the impact before snapping back to deliver a powerful headbutt in retaliation. This was not well received as the muscular rodent fired off a Ki blast that the lemon swatted away, destroying a skyscraper in the aftermath.
As the two warriors charged at one another in a surge of furious blows, the decimated ground shook and broke apart further with every collision of strikes when Mr. Mouse had managed to land a powerful haymaker to the chest of the mutated Lemongrab, causing the creature to fly backwards before the muscular rodent grabbed it to continue the onslaught with a sky high piledriver. This of course only drove the mutated lemon freak even further to want its opponent to either die or be assimilated into the ways of "Lemonhate", causing it to reveal one of it's more…..risque tools of warfare.
"MMMMMMMRRRRRRRAAAAAAAH! Iiiiii tire of this resistance! HHHRRRRRRRRRRRMMMMMMMMMMM! NOW YOU SUCK UPON MY LEMON PEEPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"
A massive energy blast fired out of the experiment gone wrong, giving Michael Rodent little to no time to dodge the deadly attack, earning a compliment from him.
"I see you too have mastered the art of Super Laser Piss. Haha. Now bare witness to someone who has not only mastered it, but evolved its power. Haha." went the mouse man before unleashing his own variation of the mutant's most recent attack in a widespread scatter shot volley. The creature swiftly dodged the multitarget attack as the battle continued to devolve into a demented game of lethal laser tag that yes, lead to both parties "pissing on the moon" and destroying it in its entirety. The battle finally came to a conclusion when Mr. Mouse finally managed to get in a good enough sucker punch to send the lemon mutant hurdling back down to the planet's surface and delivering one final blast by "pissing on the planet" with a beam of such destructive magnitude, the planet was left as nothing but a massive pile of space debris.
"A warrior worthy of my full power. Ha ha. A pity that it had come to what it did. No matter. Ha ha. I must continue on my quest of vengeance against those South Park bastards that sealed me away and denied me my rightful conquest of their universe. Ha ha." went the muscular rodent man, a bit worse for wear from the fight before flying off to slumber and feed on whatever gave him his fearsome power. Little did he know that his final attack wasn't as powerful as he thought it was for lying on a patch of floating space ruin was the remains of the lemon mutant, already in the process of regenerating the limbs lost in the battle as the creature let out a flaccid howl.

Times for the Lilac Storm Pirates were fruitful since last they were seen. Not only were Gourdian and Rendo Nexus instillation attacks showing a fair amount of success, but the two leading captains had come to a unified conclusion: "You know, we could probably get more done if we can amass a fleet of our own". Now their forces were five ships strong between the Super Spiral's Triumph, Crimson Wind and three medium sized battleships manned by crews built of Rendo Nexus attack refugees who quickly joined up when the mention of having connections to the Knights of Ryujin and in turn the Blackthorn family's Jade Infinity Corporation. The newly forged Lilac Storm armada were in the process of scoping out their latest target: Earth Dimension SMF-8178-Centauri, a Seth McFarlane universe known for housing a Rendo Nexus listening post and money laundering front using the universe's version of Pewtershmidt Industries. A simple smash and grab operation, right?...Well it would've been if not for one factor: another invading force of Warpers fueled by the memes about the state of Ohio that had emerged recently to wage war on RN. Aboard the Crimson Wind, Captain Asuka comes to a conclusion by going "This might just be a boon to us." before explaining "While our enemies are preoccupied with combating these clowns, we can send a raiding party to take what we wish and leave the rest for the buzzards." It was then that a communication request came from the Super Spiral's Triumph via the Rei in charge that Asuka approved.
"I know what you're thinking regarding these Ohio invaders, and we mustn't rule out the possibility that they'll go after our forces as well." went the blue haired human/Angel hybrid clad in the outfit of the very man they sought to destroy as the renegade redhead clone responded "No shit, you can't tell what these meme-folk will do. The Ugandan Knuckles outbreak was proof of that. So who's joining us in the raiding party?"
"Captain Shortman, the Aberdale Resistance and the crew of the Shinovi Vindication have their teams ready to deploy on command. The question remains on who we opt to send." answered the Rei in charge as the two determined who would be joining the battle. Their choices: Parvati, Shizuka, Alice and Reppu on the side of the Blue Liliths and from the Queen Sohryu side- Jaune, Nora, Ginyu, and Kabuto.
Once the assault parties had portaled their way to a safe entry point, Rei was able to give the needed orders:
"Listen well, you are to the facilities where the listening post's recordings are stored and capture as much as you're able to. Afterwards, you're free to pilfer anything profitable you can find. I will not sugarcoat the battle at hand's difficulty, and some of you run the gambit of not returning to your crews alive. However, if you work together as a cohesive unit, your chances of survival will be increased. That is all, may the Super Spiral's will grace you with victory."
The assault teams were on their way, ready to face what may come, even death. Upon portaling onto the planet's surface, the twenty person party was almost immediately met with gunfire from Squash Droid, Fusion monster and Ohio meme embracer alike some raiders wanting to return fire. However, Ginyu made the call to hold fire and escape in a way where the two opposing armies would be too focused on destroying one another in order to foil their daring plot. The Stinky Peterson of the party was actually the one to have a brilliant idea involving using the ongoing chaos to sneak behind enemy lines and have someone use an energy attack comparable to the concussive and explosive force of a rocket launcher on a major figure on the opposite side from what would seem like a vantage point for their opponents. From there, the one carrying out the deed would be able to stealthily regroup with the others while the foes they played for suckers would be preoccupied with wiping one another out.
The nominee to carry out this dangerous objective: Ryan "Sumo" Sumowski of the Aberdale Resistance who despite their wild approach to combat, managed to successfully pull off the distraction and made it appear that RN had made a major dent in the opposing Ohio offensive. With more forces from both enemy factions being called into what was becoming the epicenter of the fighting, the Lilac Storm raiding party continued to push towards their primary objective: the Channel 5 News building in what was once Quahog. Kabuto along with the Phoebe Heyerdahl of captain Shortman's crew were quick to get to work decrypting the stored information within the listening post and prepare it to be transferred across the five vessels of the fleet while the remainder of the party served as two lines of defense: one inside the building, and one outside already embroiled in a firefight against the meme powered opposition of the Ohioan army. Thankfully, since the raiders of the Shinovi Vindication consisting of four of Senran Kagura's finest fighters were stationed outside of the building, no enemies were making their way to the crew members dealing with the high priority part of the job. Meanwhile in the orbit of the planet, the rest of the Lilac Storm pirates were deep in the savage dance of battle against both Gourdian assault craft and Ohio warships that could best be described as if man took from the orks of Warhammer fame as inspiration for all future spacecraft…except even more slapdashid-ly built. While the meme powered army's vessels were being destroyed left and right due to reckless tactics and poor ship construction, both the Lilac Storm ships and the Rendo Nexus allied mechanical warriors were fiercely playing every tactic in the book to dispose of one another. Aboard the Crimson Wind's bridge, things were becoming hectic as word had come in that the Gourdians had called in reinforcements when a message came from the planet's surface came on the main screen: it was Kabuto and Phoebe.
"The decryption is complete, estimated time for the full data transfer, 2 minutes."
"You have one, the Gourdians have called in extra troops and they'll be here any minute." answered the redheaded captain before adding "And once you're done, blow up the facility so we can at least cause some extra damage before things get too out of hand."
Thankfully for the Lilac Storm fleet, the main goal of the mission was completed, and all five ships with their complete crews were able to escape the battle with minimal damage before additional opposition could cement their doom. Fast forward to an hour later within the confines of captain Rei's personal quarters with her being on call with the other fleet heads discussing the ongoing situation with the Ohio threat.
"They're growing more and more rampant with showing up in universes that we target, wether we were already planning to hit them on not." went captain Arnold Shortman of the Steely Phil with the Aberdale Resistance's acting commander Melanie Baker adding "We've already interrogated all of our crew members, and no one seems to be feeding information to the Ohioan army."
"Either that or they know damn well how to keep a secret because they know what'll happen to 'em if we find out the truth." Responded Asuka of the Crimson Wind before adding "Which is why I suggest resuming to keep tabs on everyone just in case."
The Yumi of the Shinovi Vindication then added "Our more technically inclined crew members have updated the software for all ships in the fleet and personal communicators to ensure that all communications are through secure channels that our enemies can't intercept. If anything is being leaked from amongst our numbers, than we run the gambit of secret devices being in play."
The icy blue haired leader of the Blue Lilith branch of the fleet then asked "And how do you all suggest we go about this possibility?"
The solution that was agreed upon: assigning a random crew member to inspect the quarters of whoever is sent out as the raiding party. Drastic? Yes. An invasion of privacy? Most likely. Necessary? Well it will be until there is in no certain terms any leaks coming from anyone going to the opposition.

Dueling Dices had been seeing more than its fair share of success since opening. With the triple threat management team including a prodigy master financier and a former political tyrant mad scientist, investments and powerful clientele have been flooding through the doors in spades. And when your employer is the owner on paper and in person, it tends to have its perks, especially if you happen to be buddy buddy with one of the managers. This was of course the case for Shinji and his boys who were grabbing dinner and drinks seated within what was known as the "Knight's Booth" meant for the owner, management and anyone deeply affiliated with them and shooting the shit.
"We don't get easy going nights like this much anymore." went Kensuke before biting down on a coconut shrimp with Strasberg adding "Now if we can speed up the process of getting rid of the Angels, RN, and probably those Ohio clowns, we can probably enjoy a lot more nights like these." while cutting into a New York strip.
"Word on the street is that RN and those Ohio guys've been at each other's throats for a bit now, I say we focus on the Angels and let those bastards tear each other apart." Responded Toji going in for another of his honey habanero wings as Keita sets down his light beer and chimes in by saying "Yeah right, and Bishops will let us get away with not training at all for a month.", earning a chuckle from the rest of the boys.
Kaworu decided to give his two cents after finishing his Cuervo Cosmotini by saying "Even if our foes and these meme powered nemesi they face fail to do away with one another, we can still use their conflict for our personal gain. Permit me if you will to 'cook'." as Shinji swallows the part of his pulled pork he was working on and replies "By all means, cook away if you think it helps our situation." and taking a swig of his second beer of the night.
Kaworu's theory: "As far as I see it, with Rendo Nexus and these Ohio people fighting against one another, it leaves facilities on both sides with less security to deal with. If we were to oh say, take the fight to them by going in, disposing of any enemy forces and taking either faction's assets that might be contained in said facility, we might be able to speed up Gendo's downfall, possibly find something that would be of worth to our leader and his means of revenue."
"I mean there's the chance, but what if both sides are bolstering their security for facilities instead to deal with the war? You can't fight a war without protected structures." responded Kensuke with Kaworu answering "Yes, I've taken that into consideration as well, but given the tactics we know regarding these meme warriors, they tend to go all out when sending their forces to fight somewhere, meaning I doubt that most of the higher ups in the chain of command would be interested in keeping a regiment or two back home to protect their secrets when one can be 'swag like Ohio'."
"So basically, you're saying we should focus on stealing from the Ohioans while they focus on taking out Gendo's forces and once one or both factions have been wiped out, we swoop in and take the rest?" questioned Strasberg as Kaworu answered "More or less, but I won't deny the high risk that comes with it."
"Guess it couldn't hurt to bring it up with the boss in the morning." went Shinji when as if a force wanting to move a plot along decided to act, a ramshackle drop pod crashes into the parking lot of Dueling Dices before opening to reveal an Ohioan attack squad ready to cause havoc. This was for naught however as before one of the troops could even utter their dead meme catchphrase, Lark wanted none of it, hitting the whole squad with a mass Amaterasu, not even bothering to absorb their Flames of Creation at risk of picking something bad up as the would be assault team was reduced to ashes. The pilot of EVA Unit-01 turned to his drinking buddy turned business manager and asked "So you want me to call my boss or do you wanna?"
"I'll call him, you just provide witness testimony while on call." answered the ex-tyrant of Cyclonia before whipping out her phone.

Bishops had just gotten off the phone with Lark regarding what the Ohioans had just attempted on his property, and needless to say, he was not amused as he sat at his desk writing a group email to the other leaders of Jade Infinity Corp.
"In light of a recent attack on my territory by the Ohioan army, I would like to discuss methods we can use to ensure that both the and RN do as much damage to each other as part of their little war as possible so we can swoop in and finish both factions off. Please contact me when once time can be made following the recent attack from both factions on the universe of Our Anti-Hero Academia.

After sending the message, the Knights of Ryujin leader sat down on his couch to try and find something to watch to take make another attempt to take his mind off what had been going down as of late when a call from "Naruto" came on his phone.
"I heard about the botched attack on Dueling Dices, safe to assume that these Ohio clowns are on our shit list now along with RN?" went the Geist Fox as Bishops answered "Oh absolutely. For now, we let them tear each other apart and do away with the stragglers. Actually kinda surprised none of my team have thought of bringing this idea up with me yet." before asking his business associate "How's the progress on your end for securing investors?"
"Good news, I managed to get a good chunk of investors from my old Uzumaki Corp. days in on the new business. Bad news, the rest of them along with a few of the potential marks we were looking at have already signed on to XanTech." was the answer that came out of Naruto's mouth.
Bishops responded "Who says we can't try and get XanTech to partner up with us once in a while? Alright, I'm going to wait for a response from the other JIC heads and I'll get back to you when they do. Catch you around." before hanging up as a text from Shinji came in basically trying to convince him to start raiding the Ohioans, earning a "you can start looking into less guarded facilities on your off time" . There was still a free episode to go before canon would resume, and Bishops just hoped that the powers that be would let him and his team be ready for what comes before and after.
