Also, the young Earl and his American wife are beginning to expand their family. This is an 1880s AU set a few years earlier than the canon backstory with Chelsie and Cobert at the forefront.

A few weeks have passed since Robert came home and found another man in Cora's bedroom. Things have started looking up between them in the meantime, but both still feel that something is standing between them. Will a night out in London finally bring some closure, helped along by wine and dance?

The bet between Mary and Edith after the salty pudding dinner takes a different shape... And the game between the sisters is definitely on.
